Lotus Garden in East Riding of Yorkshire

Love takeaway from this place. Quite odd inside. Very quiet and just random stuff all over the restaurant. But the take away is best in hornsea by far 10/10

One if the best Chinese take out we've ever had. Currently on holiday in this area, and had no idea which take out to choose. We chanced it and went with this one and it was all lovely food. Really good for money too as the portion sizes were really good. The tubs were full to the brim. We spent around £60 to feed 5 and still had more than enough for 3 people for lefts overs the next day. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely be back. There's parking on the street but from what I remember it's 1 hour only but that didn't bother us as we was collecting a take away. You can sit inside the restaurant and plenty of car parks near by.

Ordered a takeaway (set menu for 2). Came quickly, and there was so much we were full after the starters and we can usually slay a takeaway!!!! Did us a second day. Great value

Two hours for delivery, it was only delivered after phoning to ask where the food was. £50 order, dreadful service, will never use again.

Waited 1hr 30 mins for a delivery, after calling back I was told it would be another 30 mins. 1 hour later I called and was told the driver was just leaving. I cancelled. I think 2hrs 30 mins for a delivery is out of order 😡😡

We ordered a takeaway tonight the food was absolutely amazing best we have had in a long time

We had the munch box and a chow mein it was the first time trying food here could not believe how much you got managed to get 4 plates out of the munch box so will make this a regular thing

Just had spare ribs.Singapore noodles was delicious and I am fussy. Usually go to a different one in Hornsea but didn't have cash so ordered online which I think all of them should do

Food was hot and tasty! Had a take away from here and can say it was delicious. I picked up. The 1st thing that caught my nose at the counter was the damp smell. I wouldn't know if this was through the whole place as I picked up. Will be back regardless.

We're staying at Wood Lake campsite that is highly recommending Lotus Garden on their campsite information board. The Chinese website is easy to order from while browsing their dishes. Easy to pay online and given an arrival time. Our food arrived piping hot by a friendly delivery lady. We must say this was one of the nicest Chinese meals we've ever had and believe me we've had alot as Chinese is our favourite takeaway meal. We will order from Lotus Garden everytime we come and stay near Hornsea now,the food was beautiful

Had our usual order of prawn balls and S/Sour sauce. I ordered the chicken with cashews, I got hits of mustard?, garlic and ginger.. Amazing flavours !! Our favourite Chinese Thank you

Just recieved our order waited 1 hour 15 minutes for chicken chips curry and gravy twice. No curry or gravy damp soggy cool chips hard chicken . No point ringing for sauces food was barely warm . Need to up your game . Orders are often wrong or not hot..

Lovely Takeaway and Restaurant. The food served here is great wether it’s a collection delivery or inside the restaurant. Plenty of options. The service is great on all levels from counter staff to delivery drivers, they are all very nice and polite.

Visited today and was charged twice for my main meal when queried with the lad they employ was present with an attitude, ended up talking to the owner who refunded the incorrectly charged meal, if the owner reads this you'd do well evaluating your staff because we won't be back when you employ arrogant kids

Ordered and paid online to collect. Food was ready when I arrived and still hot when I got home. We really enjoyed our meal, very flavorful sauces, tender noodles and good quality meat. Nothing was fatty or heavy. This was one of the best takeaways I have had in a long time!

I was disappointed in the amount of onion in my king prawn curry. Far too much onion was used to bulk it up. Peas I could have counted. However they didn't skimp on the prawns. Just would have liked more variety of veg.

Lovely service. Well prepared food. Nothing too much trouble. A good surprise find.

They don't deliver until you make at least 3 calls and they don't deliver what you ordered. Two to three hours wait. Or no show at all with the food you actually ordered. Not using them again.

Outstanding food, and service. Salt and pepper squid > fresh, crispy and better than iv eaten anywhere, spicey duck and vermicelli seafood side dish were so beautiful it was impossible to leave a shred on the plate. The flavours and spices all worked so well together with rich umami hitting the spot throughout the dish, this is foodgasomtastic > you get a high 5 from me > and I know chinese food :) 😀 I hope you're able to develop your building to compliment the level of your food 😀 because you deserve high-volume trade 😀 thankyou so much for cooking for me :)

Always get a great meal here, whether it's a takeaway or in the restaurant. Pricing is also very good.

Had a few deliveries now and all have been very nice and delivery service friendly and quick

We ordered a king prawn chop suey and according to the owners got a vegetable one, which we didn't order !!!! 6 prawns 2 pieces of brocolli and 4 pieces of carrot. ! No bean sprouts, no mushrooms, nothing tasty! please see the picture of the chop suey bits. The prawns did get eaten with the rice. But why was this sent as a delivery if this is not what was ordered. Think the owners have got complacent as we have ordered regularly over the last 3 months and its been ok. We will not be ordering again.

Excellent food, excellent service, reasonable price, the mains were a perfect size for one. The mixed starter was superb value, size and quality, and the fillet steak was excellent. They did fit us in without a booking on a Saturday night (early, just before 6) but it's not a huge place so I'd recommend booking for busy nights and times, as you may not be so lucky.

We hadn't used the Lotus Garden for a takeaway before, but decided to use their on line ordering system, and found it quite easy to use. The menu is extensive. Approximate delivery time was stated and this was found to be pretty accurate. The meals we had were excellent, and we will certainly use them again.

Ordered from here whilst staying at Spey Cottage, Atwick. Easy to use website. Pleasant and friendly delivery guy. Food was hot and plentiful. Very tasty. Would definitely order from again and would recommend. A****

Best chowmein we have had in ages, fried rice nice too.. curry is ok , a little sweet though. We often come for the noodles really tasty.

We just had a takeaway and it was absolutely beautiful. ALL portions are HUGE. We had soup and starter for 2 people. A main each plus portion of prawn balls with sweet n sour sauce. We both We totally beaten and had to leave 3/4 of our mains. Unfortunately, we are on holiday so cannot be be a regular customer. Recommend 100%

We have been regulars to the area and have been trying to find our go too chinese.... this is it!! The delivery driver was lovely and honestly... beautiful! The chicken was perfect The chips were to die for! Our only minor thing was the rice, but can forgive that! We know where to come in future 😄👌👌

Ha, this place is great. Seems to be a mother & daughter out front & they are very friendly, they seem to employ waiters that are hapless fools, don't know what's going on there. Food is good though, not amazing, but reasonably priced

WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO A BIRTHDAY MEAL FOR MY PARTNER, PLEASE DON,T MISS UNDERSTAND, THE FOOD WAS VERY NICE, PLATED WELL, GOOD SIZE DISHES AND HOT, VERY NICE. HOWEVER THE SERVICE STAFF, ZERO. NO CUTLERY, NO WINE GLASSES, NO WINE COOLER, GIRL DID NOT KNOW TO PUT BOTTLE OF WHITE OR BOTTLE OF RED IN IT ??. COME ON BASIC TABLE SERVICE. NOT THE BEST. HOWEVER AS HAVE SAID, LARGE COMPLIMENTS TO THE COOK,S , FOOD WAS VERY NICE . JAKE .
