There was not a great option of food for people who are not vegetarian or vegan, i ended up getting just a BLT and this was very disappointing for the price you pay £10 for a sandwich that had hardly any bacon in it, and something that you can make at home and definitely be a lot better this was very disappointing , The service was shocking felt very unwelcome and no customer service skills at all. very disappointing considering the rest of the day was absolutely loverly

Food is much better now not fully vegan. Best chips ever had! It is a bit pricey but it's very delicious

Expensive for what you get. Service was ok but on finishing, seeing the Brakes food delivery lorry outside helped us realise why the food quality was as we had. £52 for a chicken salad lunch with water and no dessert.

I regularly eat here on visits to the spa and gym. Whilst the menu choices are limited, the quality and thought put into each plate is excellent. This week I tried the tomato gnocchi. Superb! Service also is always first class overseen by the charming Sam and her team. Will be back.

It was a lovely surprise to have the Woodland lunch on our spa day. The food was so delicious, with perfect mix of flavours. I highly recommend this restaurant. Tables can be booked even if your not on a spa day. So if like some fresh and different and very satisfying food , try Woodland Restaurant.

Wow! My husband and I came for a spa day and went to the Woodlands Restaurant for lunch and the food was honestly the best food I’ve ever eaten. I had the battered artichoke and chips (fish and chip style) and it was incredible. My husband had the hoisin ‘duck’ wrap which was SO delicious too. Everything on our plates was so delicious and beautifully served. Even our starter of Focaccia with oil and vinegar was amazing. Will be going back as often as I can and recommending to everyone!! Thank you to the restaurant for such a great meal.

We were led to believe that we had a table booked for 8 people for a birthday party. I rang the week before to confirm the booking, spoke to a 'manager' who said they would be open. We had a phone call the just DAY BEFORE to say they were cancelling it as they wouldn't be open! This was too late to book anywhere else for 8 people. Shocking organisation and common courtesy from such a large organisation. I would not recommend this restaurant! Rated at 0 stars, if it would let me.

Saw that Bills was closing, which is a terrible shame as a favourite brunch spot of mine and my partners for the great gluten free options, so on Saturday 29th July we popped in for brunch. In the past we would always be warmly welcomed at the front. On this occasion we waited at the front for a few minuets with no sign of any staff. A few minutes later a young waitress walks down the steps, looks at us and then starts clearing a table, but putting items on a tray. She then looks at us again, then walks over to another table to ask how their food is, then returns to clearing the table. She looks at us again and finally decides to walk over after ignoring us for close to 5 minuets, it’s now been nearly ten minuets since we walked in! She walks over “table for two?” - I reply “Yes please” and I continue to say “one gluten allergy” but she interrupted me and said “just a second” before picking up two menus and walking off without us. My partner and I looked at each other and both said “nope” and we walked out. Service at Bills in the past was always superb. Always asked for allergies at the door and seated quickly. Which given service charge is included you’d expect. On this occasion is was severely lacking, I assume in part due to staff being aware the store is closing and there no longer being a reason to care about standards. We walked to Edmundos instead, we were greeted within seconds of walking in and as soon as we said a table for two the following question was “any allergies?” For me as someone with Coeliac this immediately settles me. The food was also great. Shame to lose bills, but thankfully Edmundos is there and doing a great job.

An exceptional roast in stunning surroundings at incredible value for money with spot on service. I think that’s all the elements covered. This was a faultless experience had by myself and my partner. The roast was absolutely gorgeous, we both had the celeriac wellington. Packed full of flavour and served pipping hot, 10/10 roast potatoes, then a huge selection of vegetables, extra gravy and stuffing. Complimentary sparkling water, linen napkins, sea salt and pepper grinders ( because they DO make the difference between good and great) in a buzzy atmosphere. Here’s the best bit…. £16. Yup, that’s no typo, This is without doubt, bang for buck the best value roast in or around Bury. I didn’t actually want to write this review as I wanted to keep this a hidden secret but the team have worked so hard to make this place work (it hasn’t for decades now) it would be rude not too. So enjoy….. I’d probably book

The pizza we ordered was amazing and delicious, and the delivery was fast, bringing the pizza hot.
