Woodham Grill in Chelmsford

Didn’t want to serve, fancied an early night. Walked in ten mins before closing, and asked for kebab meat and chips. To be told I can have a chicken burger and chips… despite the fact the kebab was sat behind him waiting to be cut. Clearly didn’t want to serve someone… then heard him laughing about it as I walked out. I feel for the people who live here, as this service is shocking.

Always served with a smile and a lolly pop for the kids this place is great. Generous portions and the kids love the pizza. Great value, always happy

This is a fast food place and only does takeaways. Food is prepared in front of you and fresh. Whether it's a Kebab, Pizza or Burger always very good.

Love this takeaway as it's cooked letting the smoke back over the meats to flavour them. Burgers are nice but the chicken shish ( however spelt ) wraps are amazing.

Noone could ever say this was healthy food but it is always tasty. Kebabs pizza burger fried chicken and chips. All served quickly and at a really good price 🙂

Quick fix is always Woodham Grill for me n my partner. Staff are always very happy n greeting. Obsessed with their snack wrap n doner meat. In moderation obviously!

Great service, very good combination kebab with chicken shish and nice lamb donner meat, good quality fresh crisp salad and super fresh chilli sauce.

I love woodham grill it is the best takeaway in woodham. The chicken shish kabab is my favourite kabab the chilli sauce is amazing. I would recommend getting it with your meal. I would recommend this takeaway to anyone who is in the area.

They've squeezed a lot of specialised machinery in a small shop and 5 or 6 staff make it a busy scene. The food in the display cabinet looked attractively fresh and all seemed clean and efficient. My chicken shish wrap was exactly as ordered, tasty and generously large. No wonder this place is popular,

Amazing value for money and fabulous food. The cleanest donor kebab we have ever had. The best burger we have had in a long time and amazing pizzas. Two ten inch pizzas with various toppings for £9 !! I won’t go anywhere else now

Guys where so focused on pulling more money in the left my complete order on the side for 15 mins why I stood there. Thing was soaked through.

Easy access location in town, the service in there is great. Waiting times were reasonable, even when it was busy. Their two for one pizza deal was great and gave us enough food for lunch the next day!

What can I say, friendly staff, great food and good prices. I used to be a KFC fan, but after tasting the southern fried chicken here I will not go back. They offer a good selection of kebabs and wraps, and a great range of pizzas. Why go anywhere else ?

Great Food, always very busy, I think its the best Kebab house in Essex, the Mix Kebab is great and its alway well cooked and fresh, the service is really friendly and always with a smile, there is usually a queue but its still fast and good.

Since moving to Chelmsford over 8 years ago I had not had a decent kebab despite searching. The Woodham Grill has fantastic sauces and do doner meat and chips the way I love it.I am so please to have found it.

Great value and great tasting food. They always have a two large pizzas for £10 deal on. Their chips and burgers are spot on too.

Been using Woodham grill since it opened and have never been disappointed. Meat is always best quality and cooked perfectly. Service always friendly and efficient. Recommend you call your order through in advance as they can get busy. Have recommended this place to all my local friends and they all love it.

Went here for the first time and ordered the Woodham Special Kebab, the service was great and the kebab fantastic, thought i'd fallen on a gem by finding this place. Went back again to treat myself and ordered a lamb shish kebab as i wasn't that hungry, and as the order went from £11.50 to £5, so did the service. The kebab was so small, it was about 3 bites and the bag with the food in felt empty. The food is good quality for a kebab shop, but the price differential should not reflect on the service, and hence a rating of OK. If you are going to spend £10+, then go here, if not, then don't.
