Dreadful! Food was barely edible, cool to cold. The pie I had was overbaked and the crust needed a pneumatic drill to prize it open. The dexterity with which the waitress was able to throw a bowl of ice cream onto the table without giving us a second glance was a marvel to behold as was the cirque du soleil acrobatic antics of the flies that encircled our table. Certainly an experience but not one I'll be repeating.

Very disappointing experience! Food was grim! 'Luxury' macaroni and cheese dish was inedible, greyish white with hardly any taste. We returned it and the staff said it was dreadful! Both, the steak pie and veggies pie had the toughest crust ever, again we could not eat it. The gravy was cold with a skin on it. Staff were lazy and unwelcoming, tables were sticky and not cleared for ages. We think it was one of the worst pub experiences we have had in over ten years. Cannot recommend and will definitely not return!

Staff are always pleased to see my client and I, we come each week and get a very warm welcome. Service is alway fast and with a conversation from Donna & Mandy which we both love, they go above and beyond. Lovely dining area. And tasty food. See you next week thank you ladies.

Last week I attended Woodfield farm with a friend and was welcomed by Amy she was very polite and welcoming and answered any questions we had. I had a bacon cheese burger meal and it tasted great. Then just before leaving I ordered a Marz attack cake-away and the portion sizes of this cake was amazing. I will definitely be back again soon.

Came last week for a carvery and it tasted delicious. Amy was very welcoming and helpful, and I asked her which dessert she recommended and it was The Party Starter Cake, it tasted amazing and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Great service, food was nice and nice atmosphere.

Breakfast was really bad..dry sausages, dry bacon and toast is laid out for ages before we arrive .No idea why. I have eaten here before and it has been ok.This time I decided wouldnt go bk for breakfast..Maybe jus cake next time.

Saturday morning breakfast. Wonderful staff who made us feel extremely welcome. Especially Donna, who was extremely helpful. Fantastic selection of breakfast items cooked perfectly. Would strongly recommend.

Charlotte g was so helpful and friendly. She kept the whole area clean and tidy and checked my meal was all okay. Will definitely return, lovely place. Andrei on the carvery was so chatty and the carvery looked so fresh

Went here for food after visiting the Yorkshire wildlife park. It was easy to get to and had plenty of parking. It wasn't too busy and they had a small arcade and play area that kept our 2 year old occupied while we waited for food. The food was good and reasonably priced however, they had absolutely no cask ales even though they have signs all over their walls for them. I was disappointed to only have bottled options or a lager (they do have Guiness but visiting from Canada, I was trying to stick to real ales as everything else is available in Canada) Overall, worth a visit for food with or without children.

Friendly and welcoming staff, great service by Paige, Helen and Bernie who made us feel welcome and couldnt do enough to ensure we had a great meal, we had the scampi with chips and standard carvery, Friendly chef on carvery section who quickly topped up the food options when needed.

If it were possible, there would be no star. Since we had our small dog with us, we were very rudely asked to find a place in the beer garden. The only tables that were free were completely filled with used dishes because the service was probably completely overwhelmed. Since take away is offered, we wanted to order something to take away. So we looked for a card and selected it. After 25 minutes in the queue it was our turn. But surprise, the take-away menu is different. Choose something on the menu, but let the people in line get ahead of you and then stand at the back again. So we got a sandwich at the gas station.

Had a carvery... Was typical carvery fare...not too bad, but what you expect of a carvery... Plenty of choice... Further review...went for a buffet breakfast this morning and was very good. Food is nicely prepared and laid out...plenty of variations. Only criticism I have of the place is that it is in need of a make over.. Looking a little tired now, but I understand one will be done in the future...Would make such a difference to the ambience of the place. Friendly staff too. Amend star rating to 4...from 3. Would give it 5 if decore was improved.. I have been again a few times for breakfasts....still top notch...and good pleasant service from Bernie, Donna, and Emily...The carvery is still good also ..one of the best carveries I have been to

We had a carvery on Wednesday.The vegetables were fine but the beef was really tough not eatable. We have been a few times never had this before

Amanda was very friendly and professional had a good laugh with her. Carvery was good value for money (cauli was hard) overall will come back

Value for money standard chain restaurant menu and food quality. You get what you pay for in a nice way

Decided to eat here on the 04/08/24 and was absolutely disgusted by the amount of flies flying round our table had to keep wafting the menu around to keep the flies from landing on our food, went outside and they were breeding on the tables, partner was served flat beer when pulled up on it bar tender tried to switch glass knowing full well gas had gone, female server playing with her long blonde hair while hanging over the table handing food! there was smashed glass on the floor outside the building, would never eat here again, actually spewed up after visiting

Came for my 60th birthday, 6 of us, we were rammed into a corner, next to an entrance door, a slot machine, a stair case, the que to be served was about 45 people who qued next to us the food was not very good, one of our party was a 4 month old baby and it was to much for him, his mum and dad could not eat the food because they were trying to calm him down, the noise was terrible, it was like we were on show and we all felt uncomfortable, we will not be coming back, My fault, it isn't stairs its a ramp, you have 2 slot machines near the exit door weve been coming to your place for years but to be treated like this is wrong, i KNOW it was your place so don't tell I'm wrong, 1 of my sons friends works for you thats how I know where it was

Site on Google maps says DOGS ALLOWED, dog friendly. That is not right, only sight dogs allowed. Should change details

The food was cheap and you got what you paid for.

When we got our foods, flies were attacking us. We moved to 3 different locations of restaurants and still were attacked by flies. And the reviews say it’s good but they are old reviews and it’s gone down hill and staff are lazy at their jobs. Would not come back again.

Me and wife are sitting opposite the bar the attitude of the staff is atrocious there not one smile off any of the staff and the attitude stinks and the amount of drinks they told us they are out off like san miquel cider coors and no garlic bread it's a Friday night school holiday time it's terribly run by the management who sorts the orders needs sacking in my opinion as I was a manager of a company for 30 years if I ran this pub as bad as this I would off been sent down the road ASAP not happy Mr and Mrs watson

Visited Woodfield farm and had curried skewers and a few drinks and it was lovely. Staff are always really friendly. Helen brought us our meals and she was very attentive and helped with everything we needed.

Sunday carvery very nice. Very busy place. Would have liked more meat. Sliced very thinly. Roast potatoes were a little hard and not done long enough.

Greeted by everyone on the way in, very friendly. Served by Charlotte K. at the till, also very friendly, smiling and looked pleased to be at work... Which says a lot about any establishment.

Had a decent carvery but the sticky toffee pudding was terrible, complained and got a refund , was inedible

Went one night 5 of us meals were cold no presentation of meal staff not to bad glasses mucky tables sticky the overall place needs a overhaul will not be going again

Service was ok, building was extremely hot (outside temperature 29oc) with air con systems present but not on. Doors left open, attracting flies to food. Waiter could not be more helpful - kind, caring and considerate. Could not apologies enough for the temperature of the room. If it wasn’t for Amy, we would have left mid-way through our meal.
