Siempre paramos aquí en nuestro paseo de perros por las líneas de Kippax en la ruta a la calle Aidans. Estos chicos no pueden hacer lo suficiente por ti. No solo son los fish & chips siempre spot on (a precios muy razonables) siempre hacen un esfuerzo adicional para nosotros con nuestro perro. Desde darnos la bienvenida en su área de jardín hasta darle agua a nuestro perro cada vez. Siempre haciendo esfuerzo para hablar con nosotros. Súper amable grupo de personas y una de las mejores tiendas de pescado a nivel local! Siempre nos hacen sentir súper bienvenidos como clientes, Gracias. ¡Nuestra nueva pescadería favorita!

Absolutamente excelente pescado y patatas fritas. Siempre perfecto y fresco. La freidora sabe cómo cocinarlos a la perfección y los precios son buenos también. Muy recomendable.

This fish and chips shop gets better and better. Great fish and batter. Huge portions. Clean venue. Friendly staff. They even sell cream soda and dandelion and burdock.

Best fish and chips ever and the mushy peas god I felt Like I was 8 again the best ever !!! The chips where perfect the fish was fluffy gorgeous mushy peas I’ll def be going back !!

Este lugar suele estar lleno, pero tiene buen pescado y buenas patatas fritas, los precios también son bastante buenos. Sin embargo, el estacionamiento puede ser un poco "dudoso".

This is the best fish and chip shop I have been to in a long time! The food is always super fresh and the portions are very generous. The staff are extremely friendly and we now don’t go anywhere else for our fish and chips! Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t already!

Woodend serve very high quality fish and chips. The fish is consistently a very good size with crispy golden batter and meaty tasty fish. The chips aren't greasy at all and taste excellent. Fish and chips this good can not be found at this side of Leeds and the staff are excellent and really friendly.

Since change of ownership in 2018 the fish have been of a very high standard. Tonights was even better. The batter was crispy, cooked through and minimal oil. The fish was exceptionally white and very flavoursome. Not had better even in Whitby!

We have been twice before and enjoyed our take out both times. For our recent visit, new owners had taken it over. They were warm and friendly, the food was in large proportions and tasted great. Some chippies only lightly fry their chips but Woodend's were fried nice and brown - just right. Hopefully we have converted our daughter who lives nearby so she will visit again as a 160 mile round trip is a long way for us - no matter how good the food is!

I was astonished at the size of the portions but even more so by how gorgeous and white the fish was. The chips were cooked to perfection and all in all a fabulous takeaway meal. The staff were so friendly and even loaned me proper cutlery as we hadn’t any at the house we are renovating. Will definitely be returning - not just to return the forks! Would definitely recommend.

Called on my way home from work for a fish. My order was taken as I went in and the fish cooked freshly for me whilst I waited. It was really good. Light crisp batter, decent piece of fish. I really enjoyed it

Visited this fish and chip and can’t believe how good it was, you don’t need to travel to Whitby to get the best fish and chips. Very generous portions cooked to perfection! I’ll be returning for sure!
