We visited today after meeting family. Very welcoming and accomadating, we had our not so little dog but they didn't mind and he loved the doggy biscuits they gave him. Amazing cake! Even a brilliant and tasty selection of vegan cakes. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

Have had Wonderland recommended to us recently, so went for afternoon bite to eat yesterday. What a great little gem of a place, with a superb range of cakes, sandwiches (ordinary or toasted), along with larger meal options as well. The brie and cranberry toasted sandwich was delicious, and although we didn't sample any of the cakes his time, we will be back for those next time! Friendly relaxing atmosphere and service, just a white rabbits hop from the main part of town! Well worth a visit!

The café is spotlessly clean, and the decor is enchanting, the thought that went in to a simple sandwich, and a salad for hubby, was great. Lovely little cafe. Popped in for breakfast and was not disappointed. We both had scrambled eggs with toast and bacon, very surprised at the amount of bacon we were given. Usually lucky to get more than one rasher but we each had 3. Cakes looked beautiful but we were too full to indulge. Owners/staff more than friendly and welcoming. Very glad we didn’t just walk past.

We came across this cafe by chance whilst we were on holiday as it is close by the car park which we used. We only wanted a lunchtime snack and were pleased to find a huge variety of items from which to choose. The Alice in Wonderland themed decor kept us amused and is really quirky. The premises are not very big, and the owners obviously need to seat as many customers as possible in these financially difficult times, but we certainly weren't cramped. Service was speedy, the food was tasty, and the staff were courteous. Small independent businesses like this deserve all the support we can give them so, if you're in Louth, give this one a try.

OK I admit we're regulars, so maybe were slightly biased. This is a place for those who love chocolate, cheesecake, cheerfulness and a chunter. My wife never visits without having some gorgeous home made cheesecake and one of our favourite sandwiches is bacon and avacado. This little gem of a themed café is the antithesis of a 'greasy spoon' so don't expect those smells of burnt bacon and a haze of smoke. Instead you'll get a varied and interesting menu with good coffee and tastefully presented tea with a pot and Alice style cups and saucers. The proprietors, Paul and Wayne will spoil you and somehow prepare and serve food whilst having a little chin-wag.If you are visiting lovely Louth, find this secret culinary nook in Queen Street that is slightly hidden but runs parallel with the main street in the town.Happy times guaranteed.Well done gentlemen - try not to get too popular - we still need a spare table when we drop by.

I can't keep quiet about this place any longer - I have been coming here for lunch every working day for well over a year now - and the ONLY reason I would go anywhere else is if they are closed for a well earned break! Wonderland is the most welcoming place you could hope to find - it doesn't matter if you are on your own or with a group of friends, whether you have popped in for a lovely cup of coffee and a slice of cake or a proper lunch, or afternoon tea - or anything in between everyone is greeted with the same warm welcome and efficient service. NOTHING is too much trouble - and extra little touches are their speciality. Paul and Wayne have years of experience in the hospitality trade - and it shines through - no matter how many orders are placed the beautifully presented plates of food and pots of tea just keep flowing from the little kitchen as if by magic with such finesse that I never tire of watching the scene. I love to see the reactions of new visitors when they get a mini milk bottle labelled "drink me" with their pot of tea, or when they taste Paul's cheesecake for the first time, or when they realise that as well as an array of sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes and bacon butties etc they can choose Pauls homemade beef and ale casserole in a giant Yorkshire pudding or chicken curry/korma and rice. Being a veggie myself I always find plenty on the menu to keep me happy - well I used to - I probably shouldn't say this but I rarely have something from the menu these days - Paul has lots of veggie friendly "specials" up his sleeve - and every day is a delightful surprise! And whilst Paul is creating gorgeous plates of food Wayne is deftly attending to every table making everyone feel so at home that they dont want to leave - and when they do they can't wait to come back. Oh - and they are dog friendly - you often dont even know there is a dog nestled in a corner until they are leaving - but the guys dont overlook them - they always find time to give them a treat! My only reservation about leaving this review is that they become even more popular than they are now - and I can't get a table! But everyone has the right to know how wonderful wonderland is - they cater for all ages - young and old, two legs and four, and I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else day in day out. You can keep your anonymous chains with their sofas strategically placed in the windows to lure people in to an overpriced coffee where no-one has thought to clean the counter top once during the first week of opening (but that is another story) If you want good food and a good cuppa in warm, clean, friendly surroundings you need go no further than Wonderland - and don't be surprised if you end up having a natter with the people on the next table - it just happens - I've never seen it anywhere else - but in Wonderland people relax so much they just end up chatting away with Paul and Wayne - and with each other - you could walk in and think everyone knows each other - and they've only just met - that is the Wonderland effect!

We called at Louth to do some shopping and as we have a little dog we looked for a cafe that was dog friendly,We found Wonderland in Queens Street and we weren't disappointed. This is a wonderful "themed" cafe on Alice in Wonderland,We had got toasty sandwiches and plenty of fresh coffee,The menu looked very appetising indeed. The cafe was very very clean to say it is dog friendly and counter was straining with the weight of all the different kind of cakes and pastries to tempt your tastebuds. The staff were very polite clean and tidy and you could tell they've put a lot of work and effort into the wonderland cafe.We will call back to wonderland cafe as we visit Louth often. It was a pleasure to visit this cafe.

Love this place, well worth the 35 mile round trip to eat there at least once a week. Great trying out the latest additions to the menu but can highly recommend the lasagne, chicken balti and bacon rolls - all are delicious. If you are not too full, the cheesecakes are to die for - but you can 'take out' slices, I usually get a supply and freeze it and then end up eating it still frozen as I can't wait for it to defrost.Great atmosphere, quirky decor and friendly owners. Cannot fault the place, would recommend it to everyone, drop in, you won't be disappointed.

Popped in for a drink & some cake. Its a small but quaint little place decorated in the style of Alice in Wonderland. We both had Assam tea & a Toblerone cheesecake & a Raspberry & white chocolate cheesecake. Tea was fine although I'd prefer quality loose leaf tea but sorry to say the cheesecakes were a bit bland & apart from the topping couldn't taste much difference between the two cheesecakes. I did ask if they were homemade or sourced from elsewhere (as I thought) but was told they're made by themselves. Maybe I'm spoilt having had cheesecake from Lady B & Rusty Shears.

The mismatched china adds to the quirkiness of this cute little cafe. We had sandwiches, cakes and cups of tea. The array of cakes was mesmerising and most are homemade by the proprietors. Two of us were hoping for a gluten free lunch and we weren't disappointed - all the sandwiches and toasties were available as gluten free options and we had a choice of 3 cakes! Sandwiches and toasties arrived with side salad - the extra detail that makes the difference :)

Luckily we had a recommendation otherwise we'd have just tried any of the huge number of coffee shops in Lough. Wonderland is a real experience with an Alice in wonderland feel. Good range of cakes. Very friendly owners who know how to make a dog happy. I enjoyed the ice cream milkshake too.

This is my favourite place to get a hot chocolate from. And the young man elliot who occasionally works has an exceptional work ethic, the best hot chocolate maker in the whole of Cirencester!

Having enjoyed Gareth's food when he was at Winteringham Fields, we were keen to visit his own restaurant...suffice to say we were not disappointed....serving Michelin level fine dining in a cool, relaxed atmosphere with terrific staff....and great value for money...sure to be back soon

Definitely a different afternoon tea - in a good way. If you want beautiful garden surroundings, peaceful countryside, personal attention, fresh home made produce then this is for you. First time we've had afternoon tea without scones! But it made a nice change as the other cakes and pastries more than made up. Would have loved a few more of the savouries. Well worth a visit.

Visited for the first time since they moved to the new premises and was not disappointed. Still the best homemade gelato and deserts we have become accustomed to. The coffee is excellent. The owners Darren and Sandra took time to have a chat and the waitress was extremely polite, attentive and helpful. It can be a risk moving premises, but it seems it has paid off, as there was constant foot fall in the shop. Louth is really lucky to have a place of this quality and it epitomises the boom the market town of Louth is experiencing. Highly recommended.
