Always come to Wolf's when visiting my NI family. Absolutely love the place which caters for the whole family young and old. Top notch food and service.

Myself & my friend were served overcooked dry chicken, we ordered two separate dishes. Massive portions which doesn't make up for poor quality. Our server was lovely & offered to bring us a fresh dish. We refused as it should have been sent out like that in the first place. So disappointed. The place was also freezing

Very yummy food however the portion sizes are massive! I had the pasta and it came with a side which seems unnecessary as it was a waste of food but it definitely is just personal opinion. The staff were lovely.

Our first visit to Wolfes was an excellent experience. Great food, good service so added to a very enjoyable meal. Highly recommended.

Excellent service for being Christmas eve. Food was excellent as always. Service was quick and extremely professional. I cannot fault.

Burgers seem to be the best choice. Rest of my group didn't seem to enjoy their food. Half came out slightly warm or cold. Not the best experience.

Went for a late breakfast, choice was good, fry or American pancakes, also depending on your appetite smallish >large portions on offer. I chose the brunch fry, 1 sausage, 2 bacon, egg, 2 hash brown, toast and a side of chips. To be honest I would expect 2 sausages and maybe some traditional potato bread or soda but this is a bit of an American breakfast than a proper Ulster Fry. Would I go back, probably but if I was looking for a decent fry on my own and not meeting up with friends then I'd go elsewhere.

Had breakfast in Wolfes and my sisters were with me. Great selection. Services was quick and the server was friendly. Would recommend this restaurant for anytime meals as the food at all times is great.

We hadn't been for a while. Disappointed there was no chicken burger with pepper sauce but the lovely waitress said they could do it for me. It was really nice and the fries were too. I also really appreciated her letting us move tables because there was a large table with screaming children beside us and we couldn't hear ourselves speak. Looking forward to going back soon.

Lovely atmosphere and restaurant theme and the service was great. The food is a tiny bit expensive and that would be okay if the food quality matched. Burgers look great but other stuff on the menu is hit or miss. I got the burrito wrap and its was quiet dry and had hardly any rice, some of the beef was burnt and the sauce that came with the meal wasn't the greatest.

Food took an hour to come and when it did it was lukewarm. One of our veggie friends was given a chicken version of his dish and they turned it back around in 3 minutes indicating either (i) the rest of the food could have been much quicker or (ii) they just took the chicken out of his veggie dish and replaced it... Obviously we had finished drinks by the time food came but no offer of drinks on the house given the delay. There were some apologies but no offer to do anything about it. At the end, they said splitting the bill would take too long so one of us had to pay the whole thing. I'm guessing the staff just wanted to go home at this point given it was closing in on 10pm but we had arrived at 7.45pm (there was 7 of us so a decent sized party but not ridiculous). My food was fine but nothing to write home about & others didn't like their food at all. It was a shame because I chose it for the good range of veggie options and plenty for the carnivores. Wouldn't be going back.

Absolutely can not fault Wolfes in any way. We are long time visitors, and decided to host our 9 year old sons party dinner here as we knew the food and space would be ideal for 15 hungry 9 year old boys. The staff were unbelievable in every single way, all 15 boys and 4 adults meals came out immediately after we arrived as we were able to preorder. Everything tasted and looked great. The staff bought the birthday cake out, and they really couldn't do enough for us. The manager was super lovely and very processional - give that man a raise Wolfes!

Very disappointing family meal. Ribs dry and chewy, kids burger bun burnt black on inside, cubed potatoes chewy and burnt, they appeared to have been under a heater or refried ++. This was a birthday meal for my hubby and was supposed to be a lovely treat. We have ate here before and food has been fab, we even had my son's birthday party here on one occasion which was fantastic. However, I'm not sure what happened this evening but the food was terrible and inedible. Really disappointed. The only positive was that the staff were lovely.

Best Burger this side of Totnes

Hubby had large fry and enjoyed it I had lasagne with nice fresh salad and great coleslaw and a bowl of French fries it was alot but I really enjoyed it

It's definitely not what it used to be. Although the service is OK, the food quality is low. I'll just go to McDonald's the next time, still low quality food but at least half the price. Edit: Few hours later and I feel sick. Thank you Wolfes.

Awful service and food. Brought my girlfriend here for a date after ice skating. Firstly we were never Brought the drinks we ordered which was a big red flag. Once tbe food arrived, it was cheap quality meat and most of it was overcooked and the quality did not match the price. Do not reccomend PERIOD. under no circumstances should you visit Wolves diner.

Burger wasn’t very nice. wagyu beef is an expensive fad - stick to Irish or Aberdeen Angus, Couldn’t even eat it. Chips now have skin on. Should maybe advertise that fact. Used to be amazing but wasn’t great now. Won’t be back

I'm sorry but the food is not great. We had breakfast the omelette was runny. Sausages cheap & nasty. There r better places out there folks.

Myself and my partner went here for a late lunch. It was quiet with maybe only 4/5 other tables of people. I ordered a burger with cheese and bacon, it came with too much sauce, it soaked into the bun and the burger fell apart after the 1st couple of bites. My partner ordered tagliatelle, with chicken and ham. It came without the ham and substituted baby tomatoes in it instead. When we sent that back, it came back within a couple of minutes, so it was clear it was reheated. My partner is pregnant and was very sick afterwards for a couple of days. When I left my name and number with Wolfes asking for an explanation, no one called me back. Wolfes used to be fantastic, but now I wouldn't recommend it.

Unfortunately not what it used to be. Chicken burger was like stale cardboard, many good items taken off the menu, and prices have gone up.

Okay. Had a burrito and had to pull the pork or beef out of it. So dry I couldn't even chew it. Also pretty pricey for what it was.

What can I say, this place was fabulous. I don't say this often but the ulster fry (Mega Fry) was a real belly buster, cooked to perfection, with heaps of dead pig and bread, just what I love. The cappuccino was a work of Barista art and it went down very well. I didn't think I'd go back in a hurry due to being full up all that day but two days later we returned, probably a bit too late in the evening but the team served us a late dinner and I ordered a burger 12oz which came with curly fries and chicken and everything, very impressive and very tasty. Wolves helped make our holiday more enjoyable, great food in a lovely restaurant and good service on both visits. We'll done folks.

Great place for great food, love the burgers here. Unfortunately the portion sizes are all over the place as we've been here a few times, the chips/fries that you get only come in a tiny bucket with a tiny amount in it. The burgers are lovely though, wouldn't say they're worth the price, but overall a nice place for atmosphere, talking, eating and overall just having a nice time.

Ate here recently and had a wonderful experience, both with food and service. Food was delicious and our waiter (think his name was Jake? youngish, tall, well-mannered young man) was excellent in making us feel comfortable. A real credit to the restaurant and made the food taste all the better! Thanks Wolves for a brilliant dinner👍🏽

Got a kids pizza for my daughter as she loved there pizzas but they changed the base of them to a cheap bought in one.

Food and service are good atmosphere so so.

Visited here with a group as their driver and got a small take out lunch. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and efficient.

Nice food, bigger that average portion at a reasonable price.

Top food, top service, top atmosphere. Everything hot and the two coeliacs in our party happy chappies.

Very slow service this visit. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, despite plenty of empty tables. Once seated had to wait 45 minutes for food.

The burger was nice but my chunky chips were bland and lukewarm.

Can be busy on a Saturday evening, but nice place to have a meal with family or friends, and they have alcohol drinks too...

The food was delicious. We ate from the Easter menu. It was good value and great portion sizes.

The waiter was very nice and the food was very tasty. I recommend if you have kids getting the kids pizza you get chips with the meal. There is lots of good options for the kids to choose from on the menu.

Waited at the door to be seated with 2 menus for a long time while a number of staff looked on their where plenty of empty booths but we weren't offered any seats very poor standard of hospitality im only giving a star for the menus the rest was Really bad won't be back

Really friendly staff, portion sizes were really good especially for how cheap it is! Everything tasted amazing and the decor is really cool too! The only downside is we don’t have this place back home!

Fabulous food there were 6 of us and all meals came out at the same time. The waiter service was excellent too

Great food,friendly staff and fast service. Update:menu has changed a bit,still a grest selection.l had smoky bbq wings and curly fries.not a fan of either. Wings were overly seasoned and fries were hard.Unfortunately they have removed sweet potato fries from the menu. We ordered strawberry sundae and banofee sundae mountains for dessert.They were nice but a bit of an overkill.half the plate had a whole bunch of cream underneath all the other stuff.The amount of cream is totally unnecessary. Most likely used to bulk up the plate but the desserts have enough on them without the blob of cream.l liked the lady who served us..best way to describe her is 'sunshine and roses',very cheerful.All in all still a great place and we will keep going back.

Went to wolfes at tea time tonight to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday. We had the tray of nachos between us for the starter then I had the tex mex with chips. My wife had salted chilli chicken stack. The food was beautifully presented & tasted superb. The quantity was amazing & we both left absolutely stuffed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My wife is lying on top of the bed now trying to recover. Will be back soon. Stephen dawson

We've been going to Wolfe's for years.. always pleased.. this time not so much. At 1645 it was quiet.. in fact I think we only seen one other couple. We ordered.. and then sat and waited over 45 minutes for it to come. Even as a family we'd run out of things to talk about.. The food eventually came... . I couldn't see my burger for the salad.. they have certainly shrunk in size. My husband said his burger was tasteless.. too much rocket.. not enough burger... My son had a sizzler.. really disappointing.. the noodles were soggy and over cooked.. the chicken was ouzing in far too much BBQ sauce.. ruined it... It was the worst experience we'd ever had there. Didn't leave a tip. Even the family that came in after us were asking how much longer their meals were going to be.. they'd been waiting over 35 minutes and still hasn't been served.. so I know it wasn't just us. £64 down the drain. The service has certainly gone down the pan.. .. they weren't exactly rushed off there feet.

For whoever made the Antonio burger, should fire that chef, what a disgrace of a burger, plus the barbecue sauce, please taste it because it is disgusting, do better next time, if that day comes

Good dinner experience. If you want nachos with beef, then share between 2 people, it's massive. I couldn't finish my mains after this starter. Definitely will be back.

Food is good, however last experience wasn't great. Missing items from the meal, raised the issue which was ignored.

Not much difference between the large and small fry. Small better value.

After a couple of years break we decided to give Wolfes a try for breakfast…and boy were we disappointed. All the breads of the fry were freezing cold, beans cold & the 2 fried eggs were rock hard. The wife’s bagels were cold too. Too many other places in the area serving good breakfasts for Wolfes to get away passing this rubbish out. Do yourself a favour & go elsewhere

Went here for dinner after a trip to the cinema. Food was nice although not overly warm (apart from the chips). Staff a little lacking in enthusiasm. We did have an extra item, which wasn't ordered, on our bill but when we pointed it out a new bill was issued. Overall an enjoyable meal but a little lacking in atmosphere.

Wolfes the place to go if you fancy a filling, big portions sizes with plenty to chose from, the menu will have you second guessing what you want to eat as it sounds amazing. the place looks great with a Jurassic dino themed restaurant with plenty of seating, however even with plenty of seating you may be queuing for 30mins to get in. But defo worth the wait.

This was our first visit here. As we entered we noticed that we were in a dinosaur themed diner . This was very tastefully done. Although the place was busy with a birthday party and last days of the Christmas school holidays we were quickly shown to our seats and drinks ordered. A nice selection of soft drinks, milk shakes, cocktails etc. We ordered and the food arrived responsible quickly. We had starter chicken Caesar salad and nachos with the optional mince. Very tasty with nothing left afterwards. The nachos had the right amount of sauce and cheese and jalopinos and a slight hit of lime but not over powering. The salad also was lovely and not too salty as some can be with the bacon. Reasonably priced also.

Good food though I don't understand why it's called Wolfes yet the main theme is dinosaurs.

Paid over £30 for drinks and starter. Waited 1 hour for my daughter’s 9th birthday dinner with family. We were forgotten about. Left - child in tears.

Really don't understand why this place makes customers stand and wait for 10-15minutes at the door before seating them when the place is full of empty tables. If they are busy with orders then at least allow your customers to sit down and relax. The fact it wasn't explained was frustrating.

Poor compared to other places in the area. Came in tonight with my partner for dinner, long waiting times and a struggle to get seated. Staff - Staff seemed unmotivated after Christmas probably from working in hospitality. As a waiter myself I’m understanding of the work load there is on the weeks coming up to Christmas and the 1-2 weeks after Christmas. Although this doesn’t excuse staff standing chatting whilst me and my partner were waiting 45 minutes to be sat. Clear, reset and table turnover was shocking. Although one waiter in particular with dark hair was very friendly and helpful with options. Drinks - a plentiful drinks menu alongside alcohol free ciders and beers paired with spirits, soft drinks and alcopops allowing for plenty of options for anyone looking to have a drink during their meal. Food - I had the ribs to start and the 10oz medium to well sirloin to finish off tied alongside pulled pork fries and cheesy garlic bread which I shared with my partner. The ribs were perfect, very tender and a well sized portion for a starter and especially for the price. Starters took 20 mins to come out although we were seen to pretty quick from the moment we sat down and the drinks came out relatively early which was when our order was taken. Then a 15 minute wait between starters being cleared and the mains being places which is pretty quick for a medium well sirloin. The sirloin was over cooked, it was closer to being well done unfortunately but it wasn’t tough and was still really good, onion rings weren’t crisp and more soft than anything, the peppercorn sauce was the best I’ve had so far. The garlic bread was also quite soft but I wouldn’t critique that as I just prefer my breads to be crispier. Overall I don’t think I would return unless there was a revamp in motivation and staff or a new menu was introduced, I understand the chefs might be under pressure with the sheer size of the menu and the amount of options there are. Also nothing but an apology was offered after waiting an hour to be seated, not even a first round of drinks for two people, not really expected though. After writing this review I change my rating from 2 to 3 stars.
