Wolf and Whistle in Belfast

The staff are a total let down to this place, so disappointing. From the minute we walked in the door till we sat down at the table, not one polite word or any sign of welcoming. The server that came to our table had such a disgusting terrible attitude. Not any of the staff strived to provide us with a pleasant dining experience. Maybe find new staff that will actually act more professional and have respect towards costumers instead of the ones at present their a disgrace.

Visited today and from we walked in until we left the service was unbelievable, the staff couldn’t do enough. Louise and the manager Jane went above and beyond and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was absolutely top drawer, fantastic portion size and the quality was unreal. Jane went out of her way to make sure we where ok on several occasions and nothing was too much trouble. Cocktails first class too! We will definitely be back! Top marks!

Was at the Wolfe & Whistle on 15/04/22 for a friends birthday. Order two cocktails at the bar downstairs an old fashion and a french martini both costing £6.95 each so not exactly cheap. I watched as the barmaid kept glancing down on how to make the cocktails and yet proceeded to make them wrong, putting raspberry puree into the french martini which completely destroyed the drink, then continue to beat the strainer with extreme force to get the drink to filter through to the glass, this does not happen when you use a fine mesh strainer and a puree drink. She proceeded to attempted to make my old fashion, which was over sugared, water down as it was made in Boston shaker as opposed to being built in whiskey glass or mezcal, it was also piled high with ice, i intervened and told her to remove the ice and how to correct it, but staff just didn't seem to care. if i went to city centre and paid £6.95 a cocktail i would receive something x10 better quality, if your charging this much at least train the staff correctly on making them taste nice rather than disgusting. During the party we also had some food on our table that people where still nibbling at from the buffet which was only out 40mins and staff came and binned the plates, why? completely no respect for my friend who paid for the food or for his guests. for the record and your staff: French Martini, 50ml Vodka, 15ml Chambord, 50ml Pineapple Juice, shaken with ice and fine strained into a glass, if they struggle to get the white foam surface, wet shake then dry shake, its not a hard cocktail to make Old fashion, 25ml whiskey into a mezcal glass or whiskey glass, with 4/5 ice cube or ice ball if you have it, stir for few seconds, add 25ml more whiskey, 5ml sugar syrup {not 15ml that was poured into mine) 2 dashes of angostura bitters, stir for few more seconds, strain into a fresh chilled glass with some ice, rim the glass with orange peel to release the zest and place the peel inside glass as garnish, two easy cocktail and your staff could not manage that

A recent family lunch was a poor and disappointing experience. The food was the worst I’ve experienced in a long time and the service was unbelievably poor to say the least! My family members and l will not be returning to this establishment. A total waste of hard earned money!

Wolf and Whistle A great new all day menu was launched this week in the award-winning Wolf and Whistle bar in Andersonstown, and we were delighted to have been asked to go along to try it. Wolf and Whistle is a spacious, stripped-back venue, with distressed wood, quirky features, and cosy seating areas throughout. The new menu is extensive and caters for all tastes; many of the dishes can be adapted to suit a vegan/vegetarian diet. To start, we had the gloriously stringy Mozzarella Sticks with an incredibly moreish curried dip, and the Vegetarian Nachos had lots of melted cheese, chillis, a spicy veg stir-fry style salsa to replace the chilli beef, and a large cooling dollop of sour cream. More than enough for two to share. When it came to the main courses, we were spoilt for choice as many of the new dishes on the menu sounded so tempting. Eventually we decided to go for the Veggie Burger with crispy Sweet Potato Fries, blue cheese, onion rings and salad, and a beautifully cooked fillet of Creole Salmon, blackened with Cajun spices and served with crushed baby potatoes and buttered green beans. Absolutely delicious! But sadly, as the portion sizes were more than generous, we simply hadn’t room for dessert. Next time, guys! Thank you so much for the invitation, the warm welcome, the excellent service, and the opportunity to try the new menu which is sure to be a big hit. Hungry like the Wolf? Went for a mid afternoon meal. Food was not bad at all but it was spoiled by a waitress who was at best diffident and at worst rude. While other staff were as usual attentive and caring, this one person made it an altogether unpleasant experience! She made my 5 yr old gran daughter return to her sear when she was walking around chatting to other covers. WILL NOTT BE BACK.....solely because of this person.

After well over 7 months of lockdown, it was so fantastic to get back to having a pint in the best bar in the West! Carl, the most professional, member of Door Staff was instrumental in how well our night went!. Carl directed our group to our table, explained the rules and aided us in ordering. Carl could not have helped more in terms of seating, service and moving us inside when we got cold. Thanks Carl! Meave and Libby,  two of the best women in Hospitality in Belfast, provide an excellent service! Expert knowledge on the latest Covid Regulations and had the  best recommendations for beverages! (Try the Whistle-cocktail) Legends! Michael the manage was an excellent host! Thanks to the whole team! Such a place to visit! Couldn't speak highly enough of the team and service. It's a must visit!

Went here for brunch with my sister. From start to finish everything was perfect. The food was stunning, the drinks were lovely and the staff were so attentive. I visited here on Saturday 13th August around 6pm. Nice atmosphere with live singer and acoustic guitar. Lots of tables were reserved but they were able to accommodate us. Staff friendly, kitchen efficient and Food delicious. Definitely would go back and would recommend.
