Wok&Go in Cheshire West and Chester

Arrived 45 minutes late and extremely cold Never again 1st and last time using wok & go. So disappointed

Now under new management! Food was piping hot in collection! The staff are friendly and useful if you’re needing recommendations. Glad to see the store doing so well as it’s one of my favourite cuisines!

Had the combo box last night and I was not disappointed ! They were honestly the nicest noodles I have ever had ! Not too much sauce and plenty of meat and veg :-) will definitely be returning !!!! Ordered vis just eat and the box was ready upon collection, staff were friendly and helpful !!!!

Starving popped into the wok & go in Ellesmere port.Couldnt decide what I wanted the manager was really patient and went through loads of options properly friendly girl. Left with a smile on my face plus the food was great will fefo be popping in again.

Walked into an empty shop so thought won’t have to wait long. The three members of staff behind the counter looked like homeless people given a nights work. I ordered two meals and waited 25-30 mins. When they were ready we took them home. My meal was noodles despite having ordered rice. Both meals contained so little meat a vegetarian would have ate them. I rang to complain about my meal being wrong and was told they were not doing deliveries so I would have to come back. Strange as one of the staff had taken an order out on his scooter as we were leaving. As I couldn’t go back I was told I could have a free one next time. As I won’t be returning I guess I’ve just lost my money. Lesson learned

Great eats, new manager is lovely and the store has improved LOADS since I last visited. We grabbed some quick eats after work and we got our food really quickly and it was delicious so can't complain at all!

I was disappointed with the meal I received today the vegetables were “soggy”, very little meat and when I asked for some soy sauce I was given a little pot that had so little in it it wasn’t worth the plastic used to store it.

I heard the store was under new management on pride in the port so I gave it a go. Food and service was very good!! I’ll definitely be back 👍.

Went into store for a family treat the guys behind the counter were really friendly and great with what may be best to order the kids. We waited for our food and when we got home we were shocked by the portions there was barely any meat and the noodles were mashed up and dry barely any sauce.the sides of veggie spring rolls and panko prawns were the only things worth eating. For the price we paid it was disgusting.

Always had quick service here and enjoy the dishes. Look out for 241 deals they are definitely worth trying. It could be cleaner. I prefer the Chester branch but this is more convenient 😊

The wok and go In Chester is pretty good however this place is filthy and so are the dirty unhygienic staff, the food is dry and tasteless and completely wrong compared to the menu description I dont understand how they can get it so wrong?? Maybe stop hiring staff that lick windows and don't own soap?

I go to Wok & Go quite often and I have never been disappointed. Food is always prepared quickly,and it is fresh and warm.

Had the vegan sweet chilli as was looking for something new to try, i asked for recommendations from the server who was very helpful. The food was prepared and given to me very quickly. It was hot and very tasty the soba noodles they use taste delicious. The team in the kitchen were laughing and joking which made me laugh, even when they were completing tasks. I will certainly be visiting again very soon.

Went to the Wok and go in Ellesmere Port and the food was amazing we placed our order and although there was a few customers in the store our food was made and handed too us in a timely fashion and it tasted great I have been in there again since and again the same type of service love to see a business keeping up with all its standards all the time.

As tasty as usual. I Always go for a Combo Box, and this time I had it in Elis. Port Wok n Go is much smaller, but does the job haha

The WORST Green Thai Curry I’ve ever tasted UNBELIEVABLY bad. 3 tiny pieces of chicken 2 pieces of Broccoli and a strange taste that resembled Thai Curry but a very poor resemblance NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered food online using their website. This offered delivery approx 45 minutes later and so I went with this option.

I ordered pad tai with vermiceli. What I got was a box of vermiceli with about 3 tiny pieces of Chicken, 1 piece of broccoli, and couple slivers of onion. Never again.

Went to the Bold Street branch of Wok and Go last week and it was so nice I recommend Wok and Go to my partner. I ordered exactly the same meal as I did in Liverpool, the combo box with oyster sauce. The difference was astonishing. The Liverpool version was very tasty lot's of sauce and large and plentiful pieces of beef, pork and shrimps. The Ellesmere Port version was dry with tiny slices of meat hardly any shrimp and overly salty. I'm only giving 2 stars as the chicken dumplings were nice. Also the box I received in Liverpool was bigger than the one in Ellesmere Port but same price. How can 2 branches of the same chain be so different. Definitely would not recommend the Ellesmere Port branch. Very dissatisfied.

I live on the Wirral and I am completely obsessed with Wok and Go! I was craving one so badly this was the closest to me. After reading the reviews of this place I was a bit uncertain but we came anyway. The food was fab, just like how it is in Liverpool, I would definitely come here again, had no problems at all!

There are a lot of vegetarian options, and in my opinion a lot of combinations, our experience was fair as my food came out correctly and on time, spring rolls were nice, but my wife’s noodles were missing several ingredients and completely bland and the kids noodles were very bland as well, Hit and miss, Manager was apologetic and gave us some spring rolls for free. Wok & Go are normally consistent so will have to try again

I treated myself to a Hot Box on the way home from work. Was a fab quick fix as wasn't in the mood for cooking. Food is lovely and service is always fab. I tell all my friends about.

I always visit when I come home. My favourites are the Thai Green Curry Box and the Pad Thai Box. The staff are always polite and friendly. Service is very good. Would recommend to anyone.

Really enjoyed the sweet chilli box my favourite bit is the chunks of beef you get in mixed in the noodles. Staff were friendly and I will defiantly be back.

Had a hotbox with extra broccoli and there was loads! Very happy. Very filling, tasted fresh, and the cashier was nice and chipper. Can’t fault.

Had a sweet and sour box, and some spring rolls. Food tasted great, and came with friendly and fast service from the staff.

I love coming to wok and go for the rice noodle dishes, being gluten free it can be difficult to get take away sometimes so its always a nice treat to come here. The pad thai box is always my favourite.

Amazing staff and amazing food would definitely recommend. Friendly and fast service with food that is to die for can not wait to go back.

Went there with friends last week, much better than the last time we went there about a year ago. Staff were excellent and had no problem with the food, will defiantly be back.

I do love a Wok and Go at the moment, so I decided to try this one near to home. Usually I go to Chester and Shotton. This one was just as good as the ones in town. Combo box was the winner again and I added some fire crackers as they are to die for.

Really enjoyed my visit during lunch break. Staff were both friendly and helpful, taking the time to have a little chat with us whilst we ordered and also offering my friend advice on the best veggie options for her.

Ordered meals for collection most of the order was wrong so I will never use them again and am sure I will not recommend them to anyone I know

Terrible. From entrance to open kitchen and staff looked not hygienic. Shouldn't picked my order, but because placed over phone thought would be fair to get it. But place was so dirty...mess on the floor, mess on the counter. You could see staff stuff dumped in the back of the kitchen. 'Chefs' who were cooking looked like just been picked up round a corner. SO disappointed since last time. Since Autumn when new management took over you could see some improvements but after today all again just down hill. And sorry to say, but girl behind the till looked like she had not a clue what she was doing with the orders. My Thai green curry noodles were not eatable. Found one prawn and noodles & broccoli were mashed up into baby food. If I would be a manager of this place I would be ashamed even to open a place for service. Never will be back.

Had a noodle and a rice dish what a waste of my hard earn cash the noodle tasted as if it had been cooked in dish water had about 2 mouth full. I enjoy my food but this was horrible got to be the worst

I had to give Wokandgo another chance as I am a regular when I go to Chester or Liverpool , really please I did , right back where it should be food was as good as any I had in other stores , also apparently they have there own drivers again cos probs with deliveroo

Went in there after I seen a post on social media saying it’s under new management and has got new chefs. They weren’t wrong the staff were attentive food was quickly prepared and cooked to perfection. Was good to see the chef working on the Wok’s don’t have many open kitchens now a days was good to see. We had a hot box each and a chicken and noodle soup each was just what we needed on a drab cold January afternoon.

Looking back if I had read some reviews I wouldn’t of come but glad I did! Food was loverly and so was the staff! Real oriental food cook by a proper chef I loved it

I hadn't checked out reviews prior to visiting. I just needed to grab something healthy and outside of the normal travel food stops. So I gave Wok n Go a try. Pleasantly surprised, food was fresh & tasty. Good value for money. Staff were pretty attentive as I wasn't really sure what I wanted but there was no rush from them. Wait time was as expected for something which has been fresh cooked and not simmering in a hot plate. I'll make the time to pop in again.

Now they guys are getting it right! Understand the reviews from before but thought I would give it another go. They have really stepped up the standards to the other wok and go around the area and is a pleasure to say well done guys. Keep the standards high and I’ll be back.

Definitely try the Hot Box. Plenty of meat and tons of flavour. Spicy, but not over the top. Glad to hear they are starting their own deliveries soon instead of relying on Deliveroo

Ordered the Singa Box as I'd had this at other Wok&Go;'s but these people can't cook Chinese food.

I’ve eaten in wok and go in various places, but this place was appallingly bad !!!

I decided to give Wok & Go a shot! I didn't get to the counter to place the order, in the back of of the shop there was some youth forcing what looked like precooked noodles or spaghetti into boxes, this must of been preparing for Mirowave blast. I had a look at a couple that had there noodles but my word just a mass of grease and mess. I'm sorry but I have had the pleasure to live and work in the far east and this is the worst food I have ever seen being prepared. Sorry Wok & Go hasn't got anything for me and I'd strongly avoid this cheap nasty place.....

We are regular visitors to both Chester Wok & Go premises and we are rarely disappointed. This new branch at Ellesmere Port has recently opened and in my opinion it has a long way to go to equal the standard of its peers. We had a variety of classic boxes all different and all of them were lacking in flavour and had less than half of the meat content of the others. It is early days and I hope they improve or I can't see them lasting if nothing changes.

We have been to four other wok and go takeaways and the food has always been excellent. This is our closest branch and we looked forward to it opening. We heard some terrible reviews from friends and family but stupidly we decided to give it a go. We waited thirty minutes for the food to be prepared which we were not warned of when we ordered. The mixed platter was like a miniature version of the normal we have come to expect. My wife had the nasi rice box which looked more like soup and she ended up not eating hers. Won't be going again.

without doubt the worst " meal " i have ever had . AFTER ordering by phone still waited 30 minutes , ordered chicken fried rice which after one mouthful got binned , tommysandy wrote that the staff are still learning the ropes , you do this learning in catering college not with paying customers , the "chefs" seemed to have the dedication of a dead rat , which incidentally got me thinking , i have worked in kitchens in Asia and the crap i got would not even get 1 star.....

Big fan of wok & go so couldn't wait for the ellesmere port branch to open as I had to travel to Chester for my weekly fix. Was a bit disappointed with my first visit it seemed very chaotic in the shop with lots of staff looking a bit overawed. It was very busy which is great news for the owners, however the food was not a patch on the Chester shop's. I put this down to the fact the staff are new and still learning the ropes and hopefully there standards will soon match that of the Chester shop's..i will be going back to give them another try so come on wok & go ellesmere port let's make this work as we need a decent noodle shop in the town centre..

Ordered a pad Thai box and got a box full of greasy slop with only 2-3 tiny pieces of chicken, There was a few pieces of broccoli like somebody had shrunk them ... no flavour at all ... diabolical ... to be fair they made me another one which was equally as bad, went straight in the bin ... never again will I waste £6 + on that rubbish

Finally went in. Wish i did not. I was told I would need to wait 15 minutes. I had ordered a chicken wrap and a box. 15 minutes later no show. Getting angry I mentioned to the server named B#@@@! Still nothing. It took 35 minutes and I was fuming! This is meant to fast food. Tge chicken wrap was nice and spicy but the chicken was overdone.

Been ringing for 1hr for a delivery no1 answering phone not good delivery service, first time ordering.
