Wok&Go in Liverpool

this is the second time we order prawn noodles and we eat only noodles and few small prawns and we order extra ones which is £8.50 each , so today will be last time we come and eat here .before in the old shop with the chinese chef the noodles was my favourite now honestly not anymore .wok@ Go XXX

Came to visit Liverpool for a couple nights, thought we would treat ourselves to wok&go. I fancied the chicken katsu, which is supposed to come with rice, veg, chicken and of course sauce. I received it and all it had was rice and one little bit of chicken. Sauce and veg was missing. Got refunded £3 out of £8 but not good enough. The meal was uneatable without the sauce as the rice did not taste nice. It all got binned

Thought this might be an interesting alternative to sandwiches. I appreciate an element of pre cooking is essential to the concept and the chicken and beansprouts and taste of sauce were fine. Unfortunately the main constituent of the dish - noodles- had been boiled to mush. Avoid.

Three staff, one cooking? Order took much longer than other wok n go we have visited Katsu chicken, one of their signature street food dishes was very disappointing. Supposed to have carrot, pickled cucumber and coriander inured. With these it is more authentic. Their own menu lists it as the ingredients. What I receives was white rice, curry sauce and chicken. And it didn't taste very Katsu to me. left half of it, which is disappointing again as I'd paid £8.50 for it. And as if that wasn't bad enough, the diet coke was neither cool or carbonated. I'm afraid this has put me off all wok n go outlets in the future.

The food her is so good, its such an ideal location and there is something for everyone. Great place to stop while you shop.

We ate here for lunch on a Monday in August. We ordered from the extensive menu. The food was cooked from scratch and was piping hot and very tasty. My Thai green curry was very good. We ate in. We were able to use our blue light card giving a discount of 25%. Highly recommended.

The food is disgusting. Salt and pepper potatoes have been cooked at least 3 times over. I got a small red Tai curry. The box was half empty. The food tastes like it has been sitting there for a long time. I would never go again.

noodle boxes were nice hot and tasty some of the sauces for the noodle boxes wasnt available so menu was limited ,the starters we ordered were deep fried tasted like the oil needed changing.and really bland to the point we didnt even finish them .i guess some things can be forgiven due to the current situation we are all in.

I am a big fan of Wok n Go anyway, they do amazing vegan options that are full of flavour and you get a lot for your money, the vegan Hot Box is incredible! I've never had a bad experience, staff are always friendly. On my latest trip, I was served by Connor who was particularly friendly and helpful, he provided great service whilst also being very welcoming and chatty. I was always going to return again but just wanted to give a review for such 5* service and food.

Ordered through app for collection. Food was on time, hot and of good quality and the staff were polite and friendly.

I always buy the seafood nasi box, i"ve never changed what i like for years. But lately dont know whats happened to receipe but i wouldnt call it seafood, All i see is rice and tons of it, if am lucky a few pieces of prawns which are so small in size you would miss them. I know fish is expensive but please dont say its seafood when it clearly isnt, i get so annoyed because its not cheap, i have it as a treat. Totally spoiling this meal with whatever is happening in the kitchen.

Ordered of Uber eat app it came with uncooked rice rock hard & And no curry,chicken or even egg! Plain rice

Great and tasty. I had so much I put the left over in the fridge and had more the following day. Just don’t put the boxes in the oven! Well packaged, Deliveroo were super quick.

“Fried Cauliflower on a bed of lettuce”. A bed, with a thick duvet and a load of pillows, plus a ton of feathers. £4.95 for a handful of cauliflower and a box of greens, it tasted ok, but definitely not worth it.

New menu came out and they don't inform you when you order. So when I received my rice box it wasn't what I usually order. Going back to ask why it's different, their response was 'why do people keep coming back saying that'. Maybe because you've changed the recipe without telling anyone. They did do the old recipe for me but when it arrived for the second time they made it with noodles and is wasn't the same. Feeling very disappointed in them as I was looking forward to it. It's now put me off going back.

I thought i was getting a good deal with the meal box deals but the food was very bland. We had to add bbq sauce to the Sweet and Sour with rice meal for flavour. I will never buy again!

hi this is the best wok and go in liverpool and chester the staff seem really happy to help me in all manners of my order and the food shows there love for the brand was looked after by server connor he helped guild me thru there new menu and im glad for this as i was really happy with my order credit where credit due

Visited with friends, extremely friendly and helpful staff, food was ok. Could be a bit cheaper for what you get.

I had a lovely lunch in Wok n Go. Was served fast, food was fresh. Staff were friendly and it was comfortable inside. Would definitely recommend and would return.

I came in today before work and I had never been before, Abi and Connor were so helpful in helping me chose what to put in my create your own box. Will definitely be back.

Needed something quick as had plans that evening so me and my friends thought wok & go would be suitable. Friend’s meal arrived 10 minutes after ordering, while mine and my other friend’s took half an hour from initially ordering. Bear in mind people served after us also got their food before us. Friend’s dish was bland and stodgy, mine was quite nice hence not one star. Overall we were made late for our plans and even the one nice meal couldn’t make up for what was an unpleasant experience.

I decided to go their to try the wok and go but the staff named michael was lovely lad serving me nice tofu noodles is tasty. The tofu was lovely with good old noodles is delicious so I will be back in the future like Chinese New Year day

The staff at this store or very reliable and friendly they make sure you get what you want if you have questions they very reliable and well informed about there food the service is fast even when they are busy I advice any 9ne to pick hanover wok and go over the others

Wok and go??? Should be called order and wait.... for ages! 4 woks, 2 customers and still 20 min wait! Terrible! 1st and last time I will come here! Shocking service!

you order 3 things my main one was the duck they all end up in a box,spent over 20 minutes digging through and eating this,which is not a great taste to find one little scrap of duck do not waste your money or time

I will never order some food from them. I was waiting for my food at 20.15 and when I rang them at 20.50 they said the order was delivered. I passed my evening at the phone with them and with just eat because they weren't able to sort out the situation. They didn't send me my order again and they didn't even process a refund for what happened. Don't order takeaway from them guys!

Whenever I visit Liverpool I head to Wok&go.; Everything is cooked to order so is fresh and they can cater for allergies and fussy eaters :-)

Lovely food and reasonably priced. Staff were very nice. Cocktails were 2 for 1 which was also a bonus.

Paid 0.90£ extra for pineapples and received 3 small pieces in total. Not a lot of vegetables or meat in their food. Mostly rice or noodles.

The food and customer service is beyond perfect. The staff and food are at top level and they do there best to customize the food to everyone's preference with there wide choices the shop it self is full of life

I went into wok and go today with my 2 children. The staff was really helpful with my little girl's gluten allergie and patient as the youngest is a picky eater. However there staffs recommendations went down a treat. I highly recommend wok and go to everyone, their food is fantastic.

Wok & go is a perfect place to grab food on a busy day, would highly recommend as food is cooked fresh to order and the prices are reasonable. Staff at this branch are friendly and professional, would highly recommend!

After experiencing the Bold Street shambles ...... well we gave this joint a try and it was refreshing that the staff were up to date ..... up to speed ....... and knew the menu inside out completely.

We were searching for a good, quick, meal (but not the usual burger or sandwich) when we stumbled across Wok & Go. From the start the staff were so friendly and helpful. They explained the dishes and said we could have the spices altered to our taste. My wife is a vegetarian and there was plenty for her to choose from. The food was cooked there and then using fresh ingredients. The whole experience was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend a visit. We will certainly be going back next time we visit Liverpool.

J'ai pris une thaï curry box (au wok&go; de Hanover st)

I regularly eat wok and go and love it when I get it from Bold Street or Central Station. However, the Hanover store is terrible and it took me about 3 times to learn my lesson and now I will never go back!! Once my noodles were overcooked plus a bit burnt, so dry and not much sauce. I get vegetarian boxes and a couple times i specifically asked for egg but there was none. Once i even went to ask a worker if there was egg in it and his response was 'we ran out but there is egg noodles' I actually couldn't believe his response!! Terrible service, slow at the till and staff incompetent! Do yourself a favor and save your money!

It's hard to rate fast food because you kinda expect it to be a bit poo. I was a little shocked when I saw the price for just a tub of noodles. We waited a while to recieve our food and it wasn't the best but it's noodles. Noodles and oil makes for sloppy fast food. Not great but does the job.

I’ve reviewed here before a few months ago, but am honestly so disappointed with my just eat order today. A couple of times staff have forgotten to put tofu in the veggie curry box, no biggy I just go back and ask them to wok some and put it on top. However, months later and this is still an issue evidently. I’m do disappointed to have ordered this from just eat. Would you be happy spending £8 on this, there’s barely any vegetables and sauce either. Aside from this my meat eating fella said his was sound so there’s that.

We bought two take out meals. I know this is 'fast food' and quality is likely to be low... But there was more grease coating each individual noodle than actual noodle itself. Each Dish claimed to have vegetables in... I could identify maybe one or two slices of carrot in the whole thing. Urgh. Totally gross. Had to cook instead.

I had a 10 hour night shift ahead of me and my colleague suggested ordering some food before it started. Great way to start my shift I thought.

The worst chicken and sweetcorn soup I've ever tasted. Imagine taking c & swc soup, removing the chicken and sweetcorn and adding the same volume of water to it to water it down and then adding three pieces of that ready cooked, tasteless chicken breast pieces. That's their soup. Absolutely vile. I can't review the dumplings as they also got my order wrong (no sauce as stated with them)

I recently became vegan and spend most of my lunch breaks at wok&go.; The guy behind the counter (who’s also a vegan) is so friendly it’s beyond me! He helps me with my order every time, explains what I can and can’t have, and always makes sure my order is cooked in a separate wok to where meat or egg has been. He’s honestly an asset to the store.

Wok & Go has gone seriously downhill, which is a shame as I used to love it. I paid £8 for a large pot of noodles that were basically dry, with hardly any sauce or any vegetables. Absolute rip off. I ate the top eighth and had to bin the rest as all that was left was noodles. I could have made waaaay better myself and will be from now on.

Not one to usually write reviews however I felt compelled too. I'm a regular customer in the central station site as it was always my favourite, I just ordered from Deliveroo and it was DISGUSTING. The spring rolls were black, the 'hot' box had absolute no spice or flavour too it and the meat was big huge chunks of fatty mess. I genuinley wouldn't have fed that meal to my dog.

3rd time I’ve been in this particular shop and every time the wait is absolutely horrendous, not warned by staff in advance and when the food arrives it’s such a disappointment. Avoid if you want FAST food

Came here with my girlfriend after a few drinks in town, we wanted to get some quick food before heading home and was met with a 50minute wait for a “Wok & Go” more like a “Wok & Wait”. Seeing as its only noodles and a few bits of pre cooked meat I am stuggling to understand why this takes 55/60minutes to make.

The food at Wok&Go; was really amazingly good and tasty, but I won’t recommend going there if you’re in a hurry, ‘cause everything is made fresh and it took 25 minutes before our orders were ready. For us it was no problem since we weren’t in a hurry, but if you really can’t wait, then go somewhere else. The chefs were cooking non stop, and did their utmost, you could hear the nonstop sizzling of their work. We had a small nasi box, a small sweet ‘n’ sour box and I had a combo wrap. All delicious, nice and spicey

First experience of Wok & Go whilst I stayed in Liverpool. I ordered two regular boxes, one sweet and sour and another black bean to take away. Both were cooked nicely, hot when I arrived to collect, however they forgot to cook one of my side orders that I had ordered on the website App. I declined to wait another 4-5 minutes for this to be cooked which was a shame. I also found very little chicken in both boxes so I think more needs to be included in these meals, I gather you probably need to pay for an extra portion to make it worthwhile which sort of defeats the object.

Reading reviews on here and I’m thinking, seriously. Be prepared to wait! Only a few people in the store and still waited 25 minutes! Quality of food is not what it once was, or is it just this store? Awful.

The food was amazing and fresh made before my eyes the staff helped me navigate the menu as I had diet requests as I didn't know what options they did I had the tofu hot box which I will try again but I will have to go off the tonkatsu box which staff said as so good

Working in the offices around the corner I am a frequent visitor to the restaurant and ever since a new manager took over I’ve never left disappointed. Food and atmosphere is much improved and if you’re looking for a place to grab a bite to eat then look no further!

Waited over half an hour food, spend majority of my lunch break waiting for it to be made. Wasn't packed with customers either. Need training as staff members didn't even apologise for wait! Should have asked for refund as food was disgusting.
