Lemon & Lime in Liverpool

This has got to be one of the worst kebabs I have ever had. I knew from the onset once walking into the shop it would be bad. But this is terrible. The establishment is all over the place, they look likely they are trying to be 'healthy' but they definitely are not. I will not be frequenting this establishment again.

Food came without some of the order, asked the delivery driver he said he didn’t get given it. Proceeded to call the shop, not listening to anything I was saying, blaming it on the delivery driver, then proceeded to say ‘deal with it’ and ended the phone on me. Therefore I had to make my way to the place and they were reluctant to give us the missing items and the food that was cold. They were arguing with us back and forth, the customer service in this place is shocking. Would not recommend.

The app says my order has been delivered.But it wasn’t.I called the restaurant and they said your staff took the order long ago.It wasn’t delivered to me.I need the customer service contact.

Tried this place for a end of the night Pizza, The pizza was ok but the staff are absolutely disgusting, The man taking orders was shouting next at the top of his voice and telling customers to hurry up giving the orders. I ordered a pizza without sweet corn and when it arrived after 10 mins was told I`ll have to have it, I complained further so they made another but put it to the back of the list and had to wait a further 45mins.

Grabbed a bite to eat after a work event not expecting much, but I was genuinely impressed by the freshness of all the ingredients. The cheeseburger was as beefy and succulent as a burger gets, so I didn't hesitate to pay Lemon & Lime another visit before heading home. The service is first class as well.

I went in on my lunch break and as I was waiting someone hadn't collected their fries and kebab and they took it in the back. I ordered a cheese and fries and within a minute they gave me cheese fries. Thought was quick but didn't have too long but they just gave me the regular chips that weren't collected and even had some donner kebab in it.

The food is awful with no veggies at all and the chicken is dry and chewy, not a welcoming behavior.

Food was actually really good for a end of night takeaway, however they did forget my drink and then think I was lying and refuse to give me one which was disappointing but with the dodgey clientele they had I kinda understood. Anyway good to end a night out but deffo not for any other reason due to service

Disgusting ! Call the kebab police. Call the restaurant police. I would never dare serve this to people. I went there in a hurry, I wasn't expecting much, I'm still shocked. I prefer to go home and make eco+ pasta (or Tesco Brand for the English) than to eat there.

I should've checked the reviews first, terrible food quality and poor quantity. £7 for 10 chips and 5 pieces of meat! They lucky I didn't check there before going back to my hotel, I would've make sure they add more food. Also the food us ready in 2min time which is nice in a way, but also akward.

Absolutely atrocious, hair in my food, some cream on my food? What is this!! Never ordering from here again because Ive had to wait 2 hours for my food just for this. The first hour and half of waiting there was a constant clapping sound… disappointed. Ive be leaving this report here.

Overpriced food. Not a restaurant but a takeaway with a few tables that aren't cleaned. Pizza made me ill.

Fella wore gloves which is a plus but then touched the money and the food whilst wearing the gloves which is pointless. Also the box appeared somewhat carcinogenic with melted polystyrene within the chips. The shop however was quite colourful.

Amazing food, pizzas and chips were perfect, exactly how you want them to be, never had a mistake from here, perfect! asked for dips and was accommodated and pizzas actually thin and crispy and covered in toppings. Best takeaway I've had in a while.

Had the chicken tikka and donner kebab was excellent. Naan wasn't the greatest but meat was very good.

Late night pepperoni pizza for the win.

Absolutely disgusting! Food was stone cold . I live a couple of minutes away so not likely to have gone cold in transit .. burger bun was soggy and wet ?? and the burger itself was like rubber ..’ketchup’ on it was gloopy and pink ?? .. kebab also freezing cold.. complete waste of money .. thrown straight in the bin

Food is ok but he warned they will try and charge you double especially when you have had a drink, if you don’t say anything they won’t won’t get a refund. Very disappointed.

I bought a so called large kebab from here it was very poor quality not large at all more like small, hardly any meat or salad in it, would not recommend at all, very pricey aswell.

I recently visited Lemon & Lime restaurant , and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The service was incredibly poor, with staff members displaying a lack of professionalism and rudeness towards customers. Additionally, the cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired, with evidence of food spills and unhygienic practices observed throughout my visit. Furthermore, I was shocked by the use of inappropriate language by some staff members, which created a hostile atmosphere. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for the restaurant.

If you have any dietary requirements the staff will laugh at you, on top of that they will pretend there is a language barrier as if they have are not part the uk, it would be so much easier if they just told us what and where their pepperoni derived from which they still cannot confirm because they do not know apparently or any of their ingredients 🐷🐽🐷🐽🐷🐽🐷🐽🐷

We ordered a pizza after a night out and the server was so rude. He didn’t even look at us just said ‘what do you want?’ Then held his hand out for payment. No smile, no interaction, just rude. A guy then came in and he was even more rude. The guy had had a drink but he was super friendly. The server spoke to him like he was something on the end of his shoe. If you are in hospitality then you should at least be friendly with your customers. It seemed all the staff were angry that we were even there in the shop. I nearly said ‘what’s the problem?’ ‘Why the attitude?’ But I decided to just leave and never go back. Avoid at all costs. The pizza was bad too. Parts of it seemed uncooked and lukewarm.

Avoid, worst takeaway in Liverpool!!! Ordered a donner pizza was not only expensive but had about 4 pieces of donner on it. Absolutely tasteless and would be as well ordering a veggie pizza. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Donner and bread were cold and stale - it was so hard to chew. Chips were cooked from frozen but nice. Chicken wings warm but not fresh and no spices added. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re very hungry. Context: Came around 11pm. Had donner and chicken wings and chips.

The smells of fine cooking spread throughout the center and the smell of a unique warmth that is matched only by the flavor of the distinctive food: lemon lime.

Just been robbed by these people ! Came in at 8 pm tonight and ordered donar kebab and large fries also 3 pieces of chicken with fries. Arrived home opened bag and there was only the kebab and fries - No chicken and fries ! Charged 16.20p for this ! Will never come in this take - out again, even though we have been in many times before with no complaints. Which is a shame.

I've been here over a dozens times now and I've never been disappointed. The chicken Tikka wrap is absolutely delicious; my go-to is one of these, with garlic mayo and a chip wrap with the house sauce. The service is prompt and it's good value for money too.

I used Deliveroo for my order, the food was very good the naan bread was actual naan and not some cheaply made one, the donner meat is not greasy but definitely not dry, the chicken was a little dry but flavourful, the lamb was overcooked and chewy but still edible if you don't mind chewing and the seek kebab was amazing, brilliantly spiced and cooked very well. I will be ordering from them again in the future. I have previously read the bad reviews and column in the local newspaper from a few years ago but this has no resemblance with what is written in them.

After a shocking experience in the nearest kebab house we asked at our hotel for a recommendation.. We weren't disappointed..Lovely food..Great service.

I would have given this Place zero stars but the review doesn't allow you. It was only a brief visit completely messed the order up. When I went to explain was met by a very aggressive member if staff who told me I was wrong. He then gave me the order ticket which had completely the wrong order. Do your self a favour don't bother arguing. Go somewhere else.

Dry chicken poor portions way over priced

Turned up tonight (9/4/23)at around 10pm after match day hoping for some good food after finding a lot of places closed The 2 staff working were so respectful and friendly I actually can't believe the negative reviews I've read as I've come to put this good one on. I ordered a doner kebab roll, a large pepperoni pizza and chips, all was over satisfactory for the people that ate it and the doner kebab was mine, and I know if I'm ever in Liverpool again and need late food, lemon and lime is the one! Respect and thankyou!

Chicken very very dry, hard to eat and tough. But served relatively fast. No sauces though

I asked for something completely different of what I received. Charged far more of what I ordered and what I received. The food was good, but the customer service is a laughing stock. I will never return.

The kebab was stale. Not worthy. The bread was not warm as well. Horrible experience!

Got the lemon & lime mixed kebab. I got them to put it in a 10” pizza box with a garlic sauce + extra Nan bread & chips. Chicken was nice and cooked over charcoal. Donna meat what you’d expect. Kofta was a chopped up burger patty and Shish was fine. Nans were also nice and fresh. Garlic was fine. Much improved from last time I ate there a few years ago. The staff were helpful aswell.

What can I say the one that was taking the order was arrogant won’t be going there again

I ordered 2 donner kebabs.. ended up with basically 2 seasoned Tuna mashes without the wrap! Hands down the worst place you could ever eat! If you eat from this place and believe its good food, you genuinely need help, it's f***ing vile! Robbing little pr***s trying to take advantage of people in this city. F*** you! The pictures will show how scum and nasty the p***ks owning this company are! Imagine serving this s*** as a donner kebab and thinking you'd get away with it! Hands down the worst food company I've ever seen. Please close it down!

Went after a liverpool game as I was staying close by. Was a few people there so thought I'd give it a try. Ordered some fried chicken but they only.had boneless tenders which was fine. The tenders were pretty ordinary, like they had been in the bain Marie for quite some time. Would avoid.

Greasy and open late. Food is fresh and delicious, but you won't find any salads here. Had the pizza and the kebab meat, both were pretty tasty. When nothing else is open, this place will satisfy your hunger.

Worst takeaway I’ve ever had kebab meat was dry and tasteless the Nan bread was hard as rock actually made a crunching noise 🙈asked for large chips was about 15 in box when you spend nearly £30 you expect nice food

We called in here for a late night takeaway then realised it has some seating I ordered a pizza and my wife a mixed kebab, the staff are really friendly and the place is spotlessly clean the food was good and plenty of it, thanks guys.

Had some food after football match ended, queued for 15 minutes as it got really busy, got bbq chicken pizza with barely any chicken on it but over all it was nice. The place was dirty ,looked like no one cleaned for all night ,trash and food was on the floor.

Visited here in January when in Liverpool. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Food was decent and reasonably priced.

Since the superior Filling Station seems to have folded opted to get a kebab from here last night. Terrible idea. One of the worst tasting things I've eaten in years and I've been to a few dodgy kebab houses in me time. I can only describe the tikka sauce as chemical-y tasting. Just weirdly astringent and foul. The veg it came with defo weren't fresh, must have been sitting wilting under glass for some time. The geezer even tried short-changing me, when I asked for my change he give it us with a knowing smirk like to say 'ha worth a try'. Ended up binning most of the kebab, woke up with a banging head today defo didn't drink enough to give us a cracking headache. God knows what's in that noxious s****. If your even half-tempted to grab owt from here do your body a favour and avoid at all costs. Misanthropy as cuisine.

I visited her once, it's the worst restaurant

Kind hospitality and very reasonably priced food. We passed this restraunt when visiting and came in to each as we needed some where Halal where we could sit down and eat before going to accommodation. The restaurant was particularly friendly and happy to help us with every request of our order and even included some extra free drinks for the kids which was a really kind gesture. If im ever in the area again I would certainly visit.

Bad attitude and service with a funny tasting pizza.... Waited 45 minutes for a pizza and chips. Got the pizza only to ask where was the chips I've ordered and payed for? Ordered chicken tikka, it was served with fresh nan bread and fresh crisp salad. Really enjoyed it.

I'm not actually sure where to start. This is the most interesting takeaway I have been in. I wanted chips with garlic sauce and my friend wanted pizza. At 5.30 a.m. on Sunday morning. This takeaway had been recommended by a local girl who we bumped into, as you do whilst your walking back to the hotel. First impressions, clean, although is that valid after wine and shots. It was very bright in there. There were afew customers in the takeaway. A guy who had fed his pizza to his clothes because he couldn't find his mouth haha. Then there was the man with his lady friend who to my surprise engaged in innapropriare adult activity. Let's just say this takeaway should possibly be called 'nosh inn' haha Big up to the takeaway guy who very clearly stated 'you can't do this in here no no no' Hahaha It put me off my chips with garlic sauce but my friend demolished her pizza. Would I go back, absolutely. I want to try the pizza. Ha

Awful! I ordered 6 fried wings, ended up with 2 niblets and 2 thigh pieces, chicken was dry and over cooked. I also ordered mixed kebab, all the 3 meats (lamb doner, chicken doner & chicken tikka) were cold and tasteless. The food was definitely not fresh.

Late evening was advised to go here by reception at the Aloft hotel as there was no late food due to Covid restrictions. We were not disappointed, had a thoroughly enjoyable, delicious late evening feast. Thank you.

TERRIBLE! Bossman was very rude even when I told them they got my order wrong. I could not be bothered arguing so I just ate what I was given. The chicken burger (if you could even call it that) was stone cold. It would have only got one star if not for the interior of the place, I quite liked that.

A nice place to eat after a night out on the town, eat in or out, reasonable prices, friendly staff.

It was decent food, but be warned it is very filling. The chicken nuggets were a bit vinegary, and the chips were very potatoey but a bit too salty.

Superb for a late night stop, delicious food

Smallest portion compared to other takeouts around the same area. They advertise their special kebab as chicken, donner lamb and kofta (minced beef) at best we had 2 small pieces of each and the kofta was nothing but a normal beef burger cut into strips !! Shameful +ve: Food was good temperature when delivered (fulfilled by ubereat) and the salad was fresh

Set in the gay quarter the attitude of staff is arrogant and condescending to say the least. I would sign a petition if there was one as the reviews on here should have the council on the case at least.

Had my first visit to Lemon & Lime on Saturday Night before the train home. Had a donor kebab which was great and good service as i could pick exactly what i wanted on the kebab. Sat inside, nice and clean and many tables. Great location on Dale Street close to Moorfields Train Station. My friend had cheeseburger and chips which were also good.

The worst ever service and foods served! Impatient and rude staff. Not recommend at all unless there is no more restaurant in Liverpool

Stop here on the way back to hotel because it was ranked in the top 10 kebab shops in liverpool, although I am now unsure as to how this occurred. Place was packed, so had a bit of a wait. Food was average at best, I did have a few pints in , so shouldn't have been hard to please, but fries were poor quality and they used white proccesed cheese. Donner meat was ok and salad was at least fresh. Unlikely to return.
