Nice place open till late, good for when I don't finish work until 1am

We always get the chicken kebabs and the mixed kebabs. They're absolutely spot on, cooked to perfection, plenty of variety with your choice of sauce & salad, the staff are all nice guys, always friendly. Very reasonably priced aswell. Good solid 9/10 from me. 👍🏼

I Order donner burger and fries it came cold so I complained they refused to send new one and put phone down my husband had to ring back to ask him to deliver new one not happy with the way they Delt with it won't order from there again also phoned on called me a liar thank moonlight

Waited over an hour and a half for the worst kebab I've ever received from anywhere ever, I won't even say Chicken kebab because it didn't resemble anything like chicken in the look taste or texture, also cold and asked for sweet chili, got sweet chilli and mayo!? 🤦🏻‍♀️ The cheesy garlic bread was like plastic food that you buy your kid for their toy kitchen and absolutely dripping in grease, also never seen cheese that colour on a garlic bread before so not quite sure what was even goin on there tbf. What a waste of money, could of made better myself but after a long shift behind the bar and getting home hungry, I thought I'd order as the reviews were good from previous customers and it was the only place open at half1 in the morning. Stay clear of this place people, nothing but a greasy odd tasting weird looking chicken kebab place 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Delicious food, but stopped ordering because the delivery driver started hitting on me and texting through Whatsapp. First he asked about student accomodation and I tried to be friendly to him, but later he started asking me loads of questions and asking me out even after I told him that I am not single. That was on 29 September 2023

Ordered from this place before without issue. Ordered tonight and service was terriable. First off, we didnt not recieve the free garlic bread offer for £15 when we spent £32, we where also short changed by the delivery drive, and items which where ordered were incorrect. Would not reccomend

Best Donner Kebabs I've ever had , it's been a while as I'm not local but I'm feeling like a kebab and it reminded me of this place so I got on Google to see if it was still their,if it's the same you won't be disappointed I've even drove 15 miles from where I live to get a Donner from this place, it's cheap and the best.

Cant comment on the food i havent had but the chicken kebab is amazing and the cheesey chips are really good too they do them so the cheese is in the middle of the chips aswell and not just on a few at the top

The first time ive had a pizza from here. I got the 10 inch meat feast...its absolutely tasty. I normally recieve gooey pizzas from different places..but i pivked moonlight takeaway..im glad i did. Will deffo order from here again..mmmmmm.

Worst possible service and customer care. Order and pizza though ubareats and rang to change the address to where I was. After wait over 45 minutes for the food I rang the restaurant to get abused and cursed at using very colourful language. Didn’t feel that this bender had an care for it customers. Disgusting order didn’t even arrive after waited an extra hour then when enquiring the takeaway stoped answering calls therefore taking the money and no other reassurance I strongly strongly advise never to order from this restaurant

We’ve been ordering from here for years and it’s always been amazing. We’ve just finished our pepperoni pizza with jalapeños and chips with cheese and omg it was amazing! Not even a crumb left over haha! always piping hot when arrives and staff are lovely and friendly even when sometimes orders are wrong they always manage to fix it with no issues or problems! Recommend to everyone always! 10/10!!

Second time ordered from here 😡first time didn’t Put anything on pizza although I paid for it now just ordered again and was absolutely appalling I ordered cheesy garlic mushrooms this is what I got 😂 never got half my order but they quick enough to take money the nicest thing about the whole thing was a bottle of coke . Me and my partner ordered from here late . As it’s prob only a few open at the time we ordered (late night munchies ;)) any how we ordered a donna calazone . Please just look at this picture added . There was about 3 chopped up pieces of Donner meat inside no cheese , we asked for well done it was soggy . I called right back but no answer as they shut at 3am . So I called the next day to then have a argument with the man who answered ! He said I should of called back , which I did .to then call again the next night when it opened …Customer service is crap and so was his attitude. I said there was no Donna meat init , he reply’s all my customers love these … very rude … well not this customer ! Eaither you ran out of donner meat and just took the order cause it was the last order or you really think people like being ripped off. A calazone is full of donner meat filing amd tasty. This was a car wreck hahaha ..

I ordered food at 1am; by 230 it had still not arrived despite being told it was nearly here at 2am. I wish I'd remembered this review as they have not improved (in 4 years) as my most recent order was cold and tasteless.

The rating I have given is based on my most recent experience from Moonlight. This has been my local takeaway for the last 9 years. Over that time, I’ve had no issues with the staff or the quality of food from here. The staff are always friendly, service with a smile is sometimes missing but to me, that’s not an important factor. The food is!! I’ve had kebabs from there, burgers and pizzas. All of it - spot on. The food I ordered recently was just a plain 14” Margarita. I usually have a meat feast one (superb), but this time I tried something new. Hopefully the photos show how delicious it was. For me, perfectly cooked and very tasty. Will definitely order again. waste pizza I have ever had and what a rip-off 12-inch pizza and a tray of meet £24 . Pizza so soggy on the bottom an meet was cold and had a sweet taste to it think it was off . Never agen .

Food was meant to be delivered at 8pm. Called 3 times and was told it was on its way. It eventually arrived at 8.45 and was cold and part of the order was missing. Called the takeaway and was given abuse from the owner. I then reported it to Just Eat and they refunded me. I have never been spoken to as this man spoke to me. Fast forward about 5 days and I started getting phone calls in the middle of the night waking me up. From 2.45 till 3.15 there were 9 calls. They only stopped when I blocked the number. Tonight I’ve discovered it was the Moonlight takeaway calling me. Appalling food. Appalling customer service and then creepy phone calls from them a few days later. If I could leave a zero star rating I would.

They were rude, shouting at me without any reason. + the prices are different from just eat, the actual menu has lower prices for some unknown reason. I don't recommend, go to pizza palace right next door with superb food and service.

We have been ordering here the past 10 years no problems really but the past few times they have dropped the ball, they are always forgetting at least one item, food is terrible, last night we ordered at 8 :30 scheduled for 9:15 it came at 10:30 there excuse was car wouldn't start and food was cold and soggy no sorry for the wait off delivery man, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

ordered food on Friday night for family takeaway. Food turned up right on time but unfortunately missing pitta breads. One quick phone call and in less than five minutes pittas delivered piping hot. Driver is a credit to the takeaway polite and professional. Food fantastic as ever kebab feast awesome. Well done Moonlight.

Horrific service. Chicken looked like a dogs dinner, hardly no salad and what was given was off. Pita was soggy and chips was also soggy. I wouldn’t serve this to my dog and was expensive

I ordered from them online and as they where over an hour late I called to complain. But the verbal abuse I got was Unbelievable, So I cancelled the order, as I did not appreciate the way in which they handle customers concerns, would not order or recommend them to any other customer.

My order should be with me at 20:20 and I received it at 21:00 I called the restaurant before the order arrive and they closed the phone with shouting. I received my order and it was cold. The pizza was very cold also the popcorn. The burgers were warm a bit.

Didn't even take my address or anything so I don't know how he would know what order it was.... A few weeks go by, still no refund. I always order here and last night I order a calzone I said to them only donner meat cheese and mayo they sent it wid onions so I rang them up and let them no I'm not aloud onions they said I new it came wid them so I repeated what I said on the fone they sent me an other out but it was under cooked, pale, but a little bit brown I eat one slice of it and felt sick all day today I have been on the couch couldn't move and when I did move it was to go the toilet, yes I had the sites tha k god I o ly eat 2 small. Got to say the best pizza I have ever eaten, really surprised what the Syrian shotgun shells bring in terms of flavour, didn’t appreciate the nuclear waste inside the ice cream but I guess that’s part of their Aleppo special, got to say my dog loved the chicken and now he’s able to bench 309 kg whilst smoking a cigar and also has 18 legs due to the special sauce we won’t delve into, other than that my kids have grown to a height of 6,5 in under two weeks bare in mind they are 3 years of age. Do not order from here unless you want to find prices of cardboard in your pizza, I ordered a Donna pizza from here and when it come (20 mins late) I ate 3 pieces only to realise that the whole time there was bits of cardboard in my pizza that was under the cheese, do not go here, worst customer service and every time they deliver they either get something wrong or the food I get is not worth the money, I would rate this place 0 stars if I could worst takeaway in Liverpool do not go here unless you eat cardboard in pizza!

Just went on Just eat to find a decent take away. Food came early and friendly driver. As i was eating my Donna kebab, i noticed that there was something on it....a dead caterpillar. I was absolutely horrified, i moved on to my cheese burger and carefully took it apart to inspect for any other hidden insects. Went back to the Donna Kebab so i could show my friends and i found two more dead caterpillars that had been cooked with the food and you could see the green gunk from the caterpillars laid out on the Nan bread. Honestly disappointed at the lack of sanitary care. Really spoilt my night.

Nearly always missing items, especially drinks. It's too convinient that they always seem to forget the drink. Haven't ordered for a while now, so hopefully has improved, though I will not test that.

I would NOT recommend anyone to go here! Staying away from home and we used just eat to find a takeaway nearby which led us to this one. Placed our order and was given a delivery time of 7.45pm. After several phone calls with different conflicting information given to me each time I rang it eventually arrived over an hour after the time it was due. Over 2 hours in total since making the 1st call!!! The customer service on the phone was also poor and quite abrupt. The food was barely warm and I definitely wouldn't call it tasty. The only reason we ate it was because we had paid the money and by this time we were starving. I would not recommend using this takeaway ever!!

Every time I order from Moon light takeaway they always seem to make multiple mistakes on my order. Keeping in mind that the order is always precise with few alterations made. I have given the takeaway too many chances to redeem itself, yet it seems to always disappoint. The staff's lack of self improvement appears to affect their mannerisms; i will cease to use this takeaway as it is clearly an awful option. (Unless you enjoy testing your patience).

The only nice food they do is garlic bread with cheese, if you want anything else I would go somewhere else. The kebab meat is either burnt or undercooked its never been just right and the chicken might aswell be a piece of coal.

Okay so I was apprehensive ordering from here due to how many negative reviews there was. But tonight I thought well ill delve into it and take a chance because why not? (Please note that some takeaways and other food outlets have their bad days) Anyway. The meal I ordered tonight for me and my fiance was delicious? I was so shocked haha. Food arrived (after a long hour n a tad wait) but it was worth it. Majority was piping hot and fresh! Theconly let down to me was the cheesey garlic bread. It was a little on the dry side for me and I love cheesey garlic bread. All the meats where tender. Salad was freshly cut. Chips where cooked nice. And the bread was hot and nice too. (Gutted you get more donner meat than other meats :( I'm gonna definitely order from here again to see if I have the experience that I had tonight.

Been here countless times, 95% of the time it's great, but the same with everywhere, has off days. Today, I order a chocolate cake and a bottle of coke, nothing else; my order came to £5. My address isn't far from the shop at all but I was treated rudely by the delivery driver, and my cake was smashed to bits, with multiple, and I mean multiple hairs in it. The hairs looked like they had been deliberately put there. Done with this place now.

Pedí un pan de ajo con pepperoni cursi, algo nunca grasienta literalmente en toda mi vida. Siendo el tipo de persona que normalmente termina una pizza con facilidad, y ni siquiera poder terminar una porción de la luna lo dice todo. One of the worst takeaways in Liverpool we placed a order @ 8:00 pm @ 9:40 pm we called to enquire about the order we were told that it was just getting sorted, we told them to cancel the order so they put the phone down what a pathetic company never again will i never use them again. be wise use a reliable takeaway.
