Duck in plum sauce - way too sweet (syrup-like) with extremely fatty pieces of duck skin, lamb with ginger and spring onion dish was also sweet, 1 item missing from order which restaurant did not apologise for when contacted - just told a replacement would be sent. Delivery fee was high given that it was local but JustEat added £3.50 delivery which included a service charge fee that delivery would have been just £1 had I contacted the restaurant direct! Avoid as quality of food is not good and order was not hot. I will stick to my normal local which is even nearer/fresher/arrives hot. Very disappointed :(

Very hit and miss as to whether you get a good meal or an awful one. I have ordered meals here during the week and have been delighted with everything - even go as far to say one of the best takeaways I’ve eaten from! However, we have tested this against a few weekend (Saturday) orders. Yuk. Not good and this happens each time. Crispy duck is not crispy duck, it is soggy fat duck. Chicken balls are, well, soggy and greasy. Not a patch on our random weekday orders. Such a shame. I know the food can be awesome. But not sure I can risk it anymore. Try and see for yourself. You may be lucky!

The chips were soggy and greasy. The egg fried rice was bland and overcooked, the chow mein and tofu were greasy and flavourless. We had to throw the majority away due to feeling sick from the grease.

Food used to be decent. Not now. Failed to deliver some of our order. Cold and inedible. Spring rolls greasy and grey. Main course went in bin, glutinous unappealing mess. Will never order from here again. To be avoided.

Over 2 hour wait, ended up driving to pick the food up, freezing cold, will never order from there again

We have always ordered our Chinese takeaways from here and were delighted it had reopened during lockdown. Wide menu. Ribs are always a hit and the spring rolls. I love the Chicken curry and we've had the crispy duck and pancakes. It's always been hot and tasty. Give it a try if you fancy some chinese food during lockdown.

Ordered a meal via Just Eat and they took my money and then cancelled the order. This is the second time this has happened to me by the same place. The sale of goods act and others come into play as Just Eat were made aware of this yet still allowed them a platform to sell goods they could not deliver. This is false advertising and I would be delighted for them to take me to court for libel as I can prove all I have said. And when I complained I was told that the call handler had no line manager available for 24-hours! Just a money-making scam.

probs the worst Chinese in the area. All the food tastes really strange, defo all just been reheated, or gone off. All of the rices have egg in (which is doesn’t say) so beware when ordering something that they may add something into your dish ‍♀️ The rice is absolutely grim tho, it smells worse than hamster bedding, (actually the texture is pretty similar too.. I’m starting to wonder if it actually is hamster bedding..). Enjoy x

six different dishes all being absolutely flavourless and disgusting, crispy chilli beef rubbery, spring rolls with zero flavour. Hugely disappointing.

We’ve been ordering here for over two years and it used to be the best Chinese takeaway around but the last two months we have had about 3 takeaways from here and it has just got worse and worse. Yesterday was the last straw! And we will not be ordering from here again! Our order didn’t arrive so we rang and the delivery driver apparently had given our order to someone else and didn’t even realise. The portion sizes seem smaller than they used to be. And the things taste slightly odd. (Not in a good way)

Part of our order was not delivered.when we rang we were told they could not deliver it to us but we could have it next time.we won't be using them again.

Great menu lots to choose from ! We live away from shop but they still deliver always warm and tastes great definite recommend to anyone who asks

Th food was flavorsome, it was delivered hot, there was lots of variety on the menu. I would defiantly use these guys again.

The food and service are both fantastic from this takeaway. It always arrives 20 minutes before it says it will, the food is always piping hot and tastes wonderful.

Been using these people for a while now for our Chinese meal deliveries. Swapped from two others in town to just use wok star. We found the foods good along with the the delivery time, often a shorter wait than the competitors. Keep up the good work.

Tried this Chinese takeaway as got details on Just Eat was told an 1hr to be delivered. Had to phone them after 90 mins as not arrived to be told it was out for delivery and would be 10 mins. Another 20 mins later had to call again as still not here and it eventually arrived 2 hours from the order time and food was bearly warm. Shame as food is tasty but if you want to succeed as a business you need to get your service sorted!!!!
