Ordered a takeaway away meal for my family costing £40 in a time of cost 9f living crisis whennpeople can't afford to throw away good money .I expect the food to turn up on time and hot! It turned up Luke warm and 40 minutes late! When we rang to enquire where it was and just got a generic answer machine ! So much for customer service! There was nothing special about the chefs special curry .The prawns were over cooked and rubbery the meat especially the beef was under cooked and chewy ...absolutely one of the worst Chinese takeaways I've eaten in along time . Will not use again ..

Do not order from here. Absolutely shocking food. Freezing cold and we live a 5 minute drive away. Would expect it to be warm for a £40 order. Owner lies about sending driver out. Nearly 2 hours wait.

Disappointed! I can understand the 1 hour to cook and deliver. But for it to take another 30 minutes to deliver is ridiculous. The takeaway is less than 10 minutes away in a car. Had to call twice to check on the delivery status. Kept trying to assure me it was on its way. I said that the food would be cold when it arrived. I was told it would not be that bad as they deliver up to 4 addresses on a weekend. As predicted it was cold. If you can't find my house, use Google Maps! The best part of the meal was the prawn crackers. I wanted to use and support a local takeaway. I am sorry but i am disappointed! No excuse on a Thursday night.

Food has really gone down hill. Always used to be such a lovely Chinese. Rice was dry, crispy chicken in peking sauce was a breaded chicken bread in a pot full of what I can only described as looking like male bodily fluids 😂 wouldn’t recommend and certainly won’t be coming back! Very poor quality food and complete waste of money

Never been to this shop keep getting random phone calls from the number called back to see what’s going on and who’s phoning me and why I get spoken down to saying that the place never called me and all this and to go now. Never wanted them to call me never even been in that area just wanted to know what’s going on . Fix your customer service skills you can’t go around talking to people like that.

Tried for the first time today. Food was good. Salt and pepper chicken was good. Would be great if there was a little more chilli in it but that’s personal preference. Definitely the best I’ve had in a long time though. The person who delivered the food was the happiness, politeness person to deliver my food ever. Will be back again some time

Good quality enjoyable food with some more unusual authentic Chinese dishes. Woman taking order is so friendly and enthusiastic.

Food if that’s what you call it rice dry and chicken slopped on top have to the dog as looked like dog meat ribs full off fat and dry Singapore chow mein was like packet noodles and delivery took 1.5 hours and then see someone walking around for ten mins yes that was my food so was stone cold won’t be going back call to complain and manger not there

Lovely authentic Chinese dishes. Flint, the young lady who took over the business is very lovely and always full of energy.

Food was okay, chow menu just had the chicken plonked on top which didn’t look very appetising but tasted okay my main issue was the delivery driver. I ordered through Uber eats the driver who delivered it practically bit my head off saying I should have ordered earlier as they stop delivering at 9.30, saying we did it this time but next time order earlier. Won’t be a next time. Which is fair enough so why not just cancel my order, I put my order though about 9 also so it was 20 mins before Uber eats says you can order before. If you don’t deliver after a certain time change your times on Uber eats I didn’t appreciate the driver having a go for ordering when it allowed me through the app.

Food was quickly done and tasted great. Lovely to customers.

Have tried to order several times recently - the confirm order for delivery then cancel shortly afterwards. If you can’t deliver change the proximity settings for your online ordering as it’s extremely annoying to have your order confirmed then find out by chance 40 mins later that it’s not coming!!

Disgusting cold , complained the manager was very rude .wants reporting to proper authorities, do not buy from here try red sun 100% BETTER

Lovely food, quick delivery and great value for money, my new favourite! Even have a great selection of tofu dishes and dim sum which you can’t get anywhere else round here I read the bad reviews and like anywhere I think if you order when it’s busy, like a Saturday night or a bank holiday, it’s going to be different service to a mid week night.

Absolutely awful. As a vegan I questioned the squid with the vegetarian sign next to it. Advised by the awful reception person that vegetarians eat fish!! I tried to advise this wasnt the case and she completely ignored me and would not engage or make eye contact.. She would rather make someone ill or worse than acknowledge this mistake...Shocking.. avoid at all costs and gobround the corner

Ordered delivery, and despite the bitter reviews on Trust Pilot, the food was delicious. Arrived in good time, hot, and fresh. Recommended! Today, I ordered again. Unfortunately, the Char Siu tasted like it had gone off. This place seems a bit hit and miss. Order at your own risk!

Pleasantly surprised! Swift delivery of piping hot food. Just the right amount of salt and spice. Not oily or soggy. Kids loved it......the fortune cookies were cool!

I ordered a sweet and sour chicken with fried rice from this place. The collection was quick. However, I was very disappointed with the rice. It was dry, bland and had some hard bits in it. It felt like it was cooked a long time ago and reheated. I could barely eat it. The sweet and sour chicken, on the other hand, was delicious. The sauce was tangy and flavorful, and the chicken was tender and crispy. It had a good balance of sweetness and sourness, and it went well with some fresh vegetables I had at home. Overall, I would say this takeaway has potential, but they need to improve their rice quality. I might give them another chance if they do that

Is this under new management?? Chips were not home cooked as normal just like frozen chips .meal was tasteless!! awful chicken put on top of chow mein not cooked with it very strange. Disappointing as the last couple of weeks it's been lovely

The best Chinese takeaway around by a mile!! Chicken balls are the best I've ever had, all food fresh and delicious! Staff here are so lovely and polite, this will be the only Chinese we ever visit now

Very well over priced, chicken fried rice was awful, curry sauce was far to spicey and the chips were rock hard and cold, very scabby not happy for the money we paid. Will not be going back there!!!

Ordered two meals for delivery mine was OK but wouldn't have it again , the wife's looked like it just came out of a mop bucket ! The two meals came to £18 and that was with prawn Crackers. I phoned the takeaway to complain and that lady on the phone was indeed very helpful and a refund was agreed between all parties for me to pick up. Went the following night and a £4.50 was all I got ' it's something I suppose considering we certainly won't be ordering from there again .

Food wasn't nice, chips looked like they had been left out for days and been re heated. Curry was tasteless. Didn't enjoy the food at all and will not go back here.

Gave this place a try instead our usual because of good reviews. WOW what a big mistake. I've eaten some junk over the years after a good night out but this without doubt was the worst chicken chow mien I have ever come across. Rubbery inedible horrible looking greasy chicken with the soggiest greasy chips ever. Ate the noodles, everything else went straight in the bin. Avoid this place like you would the plague.

Used to use this place all the time but it went off the boil with its chewy chicken...but a couple of years later decided to give it another go...big mistake the chewy chicken is as bad as it ever was.....waste of money...use New Diamond in Scartho instead...much better

I have just taken delivery of a meal cost of 33 pound, I ordered barbeque spare ribs, but not a hint of barbecue and so dry, All the food was cold and more than half of it is in the bin, I can honestly say that this is the worst I've ever had so so disappointed.

This place is very local to me and have used it dozens of times. I haven’t been recently as on a diet and their food is just far too delicious that I’m trying to stay out of bad habits! Ignore the bad reviews, the food is consistently good and the staff lovely and very helpful.

I was astonished at the kind service that welcomed me into the takeaway. The meal exceeded my high standards and I especially enjoy the chicken balls. The price I payed for the takeaway was reasonable for the quality of the food. I am recommending you to my friends and family as a reliable chinese. Thank you for the great food! Don’t believe a word when they give you a delivery time, we asked for honesty due to needing to eat a certain time due to medication. Despite this plea. The food still turned up lukewarm 45 mins past promised time. Customer service at it disgusting worst

Best Chinese in the local area by a mile

We’d ordered from here before a few months ago and I’m sure we really enjoyed it, but I find that hard to believe after ordering again from them tonight. When we opened the bag we immediately smelt something strong, bad and fishy which turned out to be the prawn toast. The vegetable rolls when cut in half smelt of a rubbish bin AND they were greasy. The veg chow mien was unbelievably greasy as well. I ordered “crispy peking chicken”, what I received was soggy wallpaper paste chicken. Soggy chips and hard rice. Very poor and maybe even inedible.

This has to be the worst Chinese in Lincolnshire. The food is absolutely awful, cold, greasy and does not appear to be fresh. The chips look like they have been cooked a month ago, and I had the worst curry here I have ever had anywhere. Avoid this Chinese at all costs, like most things in Scartho, it is expensive and over-rated.

Our favourite family Chinese for years, literally. & the only place I know of locally that does a proper satay dish.

I use wok magic regularly. You cannot get takeaway this good unless you visit a restaurant. It’s delicious. Special curry is the best ever. If I could give ten stars I would.

The worst chinese takeaway in Grimsby! When our meal came the curry was so hot we could not eat it! The appetisers (spring rolls) were very bland with no meat in (we did not ask for vegetarian rolls) and overall portion sizes were very small. One dish only had 6 prawns in and looked lost in its container which was was only 10 percent full! When we complained the 'lady' rolled her eyes and stated that's what you get for your money and curry is supposed to be hot - no refund or apology were offered. We felt robbed and would never return.

the curry sauce was too spicy we literally had a mouthful and we couldn’t eat anymore, I understand curry is meant to be a little spicy but this was way to much- not going there again

Poor service, charged wrong, sent wrong order and when I called to complain the complaint wasn’t dealt with!

Crispy dishes were decidedly soggy. Even in the time to walk back to the hotel over the road. Was too tired and late to take back and complain.
