Chips were expensive and tasted terrible, some were undercooked too. Definitely wouldn't go back.

Delicious Chinese food. Consistent quality. A bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for!

This place has great food and the prices are fair aswell

They have good location and ruin it by giving rubbish food. The food you buy is 20% oil everytime

Everything tastes like chilli , chicken, beef, pork , even chips can’t tell between them. Tastes a lot like jeneric’s before they was closed.

Update Sept 2023... After saying I wouldn't order from here again 6 months ago, tonight I did. Again the food was badly cooked, lacking flavour and didn't even taste fresh. I'd rather have a pot noodle, I won't order from here again - I'd honestly rather go hungry. I've been a big fan of this place for a while and always enjoyed their Chinese meals. Tonight I fancied fish and chips but the wife wanted Chinese so I gave it a try. To say it was the worst fish and chips I have ever had is not enough, this is probably the worst food I've ever eaten and so bad that I'll probably never even order Chinese food from them again...that is how bad it was...nobody who can serve food so bland and tastless should be doing it for a living. It was absolutely dreadful.

Ordered £32 of food last night, salt n pepper chicken was raw not even cooked put all 4 of us completely off, rang them up and basically got told when I asked for my money back, was told we will bring more chicken to you and pick the un cooked one up, I’ve took pictures and will now get in touch with trading standards I strongly advise never to eat from there as I will Never ever go there again

Not happy the girl taking the orders is too busy talking to friends and talking over customers to listen, she forgot to add everything on our order and has spoilt our tea

They used to be good, we used to be regular customers until today when there were several items missing from our usual Wok Box. After over 15 minutes trying to get past their permanently engaged phone she very tellingly knew straight away what was missing from the box (so she would have known before i left the shop) but despite this the best she could come out with what to accuse me of trying to get free food out of them. They are rip off merchants who you should avoid like the plague! If anyone from there ever reads this I have three words for you "Debit Card Dispute"

I go here at least twice a month for a mixed order. I prefer to go to order in person and am always impressed by the staff and quality of the food.

£17 for 1 chicken fried rice, salt and pepper chicken and soft noodles and chips! Food cold, peas rock solid in what can only be described has part boiled part fried rice! chicken is like it's out of a boil in the bag!! I'm being generous when I say, I feel like I am doing an eating trial on I'm a celeb!!! If you want decent food go Neighbor's Martin ave! 01925657887 its 5 mins away from this hole! best fu young in the northwest!! Only agreed to this place because the daughter asked!! Didnt even want to give it 1 green mark!!

Never had a bad meal. Personally been going here for 3 years and family used this takeaway for many years previously. Never had an issue with any of the food or delivery. Usually delivered within 30mins and top quality food. Best sweet and sour I have tasted. 5 stars.

I can’t understand the bad reviews. This place is without a doubt the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. And I’ve had Chinese food all over the world (except China...). We’ve been going here for a few years and it has never failed us. Always a good meal. Although I do prefer the fat salt and pepper chips you used to do but the fries are still good. These guys are also reliable. Unlike many Chinese takeaways around here.

Can't fault the Wok Inn really good food and service with an added sense of feeling protected by there measures for the covid virus,and they take card payments too win win to me thanks Wok Inn.

Had a take away tonight it was brilliant food was hot and well cooked All in all a great meal.

5 of us had a meal from here last night and we all shared the same meals however two people had spare ribs and when eating them noticed they were very pink , these two people complained of being unwell not long after eating the meal and have been very sick all night and had to take the day off work coincidense or not we will not be visiting again .

Do not eat from this takeaway as the food is appalling under done chips and tasteless Chinese food not worth the money and the visit

It comes you me freezing cold I'm all the chips was all chips it's was all soggy not happy at all when you order a meal you expect it to Be Hot not freezing cold and the meat didn't even Road cut it looked touch the meat is red

Horrible food would stay well away fillet stake was full of fat and gristle. Same for bbq ribs and chips were under cooked.

better than most wouldn't go out of my way to eat from there though

Ordered chicken chow mien. Came as a dry dish just noodles and what was supposed to be chicken??? Rang to complain was advised that it is how it is served dry with vegetables in but there was none. Staff very rude said if I wanted sauce I should of asked for it. But excuse me every other chow mien I’ve had comes with a sauce😡

Ordered from wok inn, customer service appalling, very rude adviser with no telephone manners was rushing me and not listening when I gave my order. part of my order was missing no surprise, I rang back to be insulted and told this was my fault, agreed after a lot insulting talk, my missing item world be delivered in 40 mins in which i explained the rest of the food would be cold, no apologies for this, i then waiting for over a hour my item was never delivered nor did they answer the phone after this point. The telephone Male adviser needs to go on a customer service course. Shocking behaviour for a business. Which is a shame this rude male worker is ruining this business! They are plenty of other takeaways out there with professional present staff!

Me and my family order from these maybe once a week and have never had any issues. Pretty good food for what it is, saying that still paying £40-50 a time. So tonight we ordered for 5 people and on the order was a crispy duck with pancakes etc etc. When we got the order we checked all the bags to find no tubs of hoisin sauce. We rang them back to be spoken to by a fella who asked us about 20 questions to make sure we hadn't misplaced it. When I assured him it was missing he passed me onto a woman who I had the exact same line of questioning from. She said she would call us back. Okay... so about 10 mins later she rang back and said "we've checked the cctv and spoken to the driver and we definitely put a sauce in your order. So there" and ended the call. Having finished my meal I rang back about 20 mins later and spoke to the same woman, wanting to complain, again she said that she checked the cctv and spoke to the driver (who I could hear in the background say "I think so") and confirmed we must have it. She also kept referring to a yellow box despite the order being delivered in a red one.... It might seem ridiculous to be so angry about a pot of bluddy hoisin sauce but you essentially had a family sat down to dinner being accused of being thieves - over about a 5p pot of sauce!!! Just why would we do that, especially as regulars. Beggars belief really. WILL NOT be ordering from these cretins again. Nice one for chucking away about £150-200 a month, I'm sure your competitors with thank you.

The attitude reminded me of Catherine Tate 'am i bovvered?' and not of a legitimate business. We start eating and after 10 minutes they call and say they checked cctv and it was placed in the bag - as far as they were concerned that was the end of it (not disputing it was placed in a bag, but it was either not our bag (they said it was put in a yellow bag but delivery guy had a red bag) or didnt make it from the bag to us) we rang back once more - explained we were regular customers and why would we try it on over sauce (which is what about 50p?) They point blank refused to send the sauce. We explained again that they risked losing regular custom over a pot of sauce and again they just didn't seem to care. It's a shame as we liked it here, but after 20 minutes of palava over a pot of sauce (they could have been and dropped it off 10 times over during that time!) and the terrible attitude of the staff, the fact that our previous custom counted for nothing and the underlying accusations that we were ripping them off for a bit of sauce means that I will not use this take away again.

We can always rely on wok inn for a treat tea and the food has always been excellent. We have had absolutely no complaints and the delivery is spot on. . #Noodleswithanything :)

Poor service, delivery should be in 1HRS but took them 1.45hrs no sorry no nothing, food probably been in car for 45min didn't taste good/fresh. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!!!! They just after your money once u place your order they don't care about customer at all!!!!

We ordered a takeaway from here Saturday night the food seem to arrive really fast i had not long put the phone down didnt think to much about it till my hubby bit into a raw piece of chicken thankfully he spat it straight out i checked my meal it was cold and all the chicken was raw i phoned up to ask for my money back thankfully the delivery driver was quick coming back i shown him the chicken he apologised and said its not the first time its happend and they will talk to the chef im just so glad i didnt eat it or me and my hubby would of probably ended up in the hospital i will never use again

Been to this Chinese establishment before and I have always loved it, food and customer service has always been brilliant however I recently visited again and I can promise it will be my last! The customer service was appalling! The women who answered the phone was dreadfully rude for example : saying 'what' and just being very blunt and rushed. Then when the food arrived there was items missing and once we finally got through to the wok inn (after our phone calls being rejected numerous times) to say the items were missing she realised and sent them back to the address about 20 minutes later after the food had gone cold!

Solía visitar este chino y estaba muy bien. Pero ayer para comenzar con, el teléfono fue respondida por una señora muy desagradable! Luego, una vez pedido, la comida era entregado con objetos perdidos.

Segundo después de mi comida de wok inn sólo tenía que correr la voz. Excelente comida, excelente servicio con entrega en un radio de 3 millas. Mucha variedad, y fideos fantástico, que es mi favorito. Y la tienda mejor chip curry que he tenido hasta la fecha. . Así que si estás en la zona de el wok inn está bien merece una visita.

Always ordered from here until we had a complaint about food not being cooked then they stopped delivering,, the staff are so annoying when they answer the phone fffss

Ordered food at 8pm arrived at 8.35pm food was tasty and hot we always ask the ppl to not batter...

This is the worst food I've ever eaten. I ordered a rib combo and they were disgusting. About three inches long and rock hard AND THEY COST £6.50!!!! And to top it all off there was a hair in the last carton and it wasn't mine. I'm reporting them to the council, it was that bad.

We ordered food from here and to say disgusted is an understatement. We phoned to say the order was wrong to have some man argue with me on the phone/ leave it on the side/ and talk to his co-worker for 10minutes, only sorted it because he admitted he'd presumed thats what we wanted. I have never expirienced customer service like it and when asked to speak to the owner they 'had gone home' after another 5 minute wait again!!!!! He then said to bring the food back for a refund, to which my partner went back and was told he couldnt get one. However they did give us the correct order. Avoid at all costs we tried this for the first time as its only around the corner from our house, i would rather walk for 5 hours for someone who appriciates our custom than step foot back there again

Hi All ive bin using the Wok inn for years at least once a week with not a problem. But for the last 3 weeks its taken them over an hour for you to get your delivery.Last night was an hour and half what a joke so when I phoned up to see where the meal was the attitude was dreadful I asked for some kind of compensation you know £2 or £3 off or free prawn crackers or something.They offered Sweet F.A. even even though i spend at least £80 + a month I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THEM ON PRINCIPLE.

Tried this for the first time recently. Order was handled well and was ready as promised. Good menu choice, food well presented.

Twice on the bounce wrong food received. Argued that it was my fault but I did repeat and confirm the order. All food cold when we received correct items. Won't be using again.

Really enjoy the food from here :-) once forgot something but rang and went to pick up and gave us chilli sauce for free!
