amazing food i would come here again!!

Totally disgusting, took over an hour to arrive despite being quoted less all goods were cold and prawn crackers were stale,. ribs were scraps and rice stodgy. Definitely gone drastically downhill. Only used cos it was a Tuesday and competition closed. Would not recommend.

Food awful, overcooked and overpriced, paid just over £30 for two of us and we left most of it as it was extremely overcooked, actually tasted warmed up. Ruined the birthday treat for my husband. One to avoid

Highly disappointed in the meal for two I ordered for my husband's birthday, food was not a patch on what it once was, we used to be regular customers, I won't be using this establishment again, over priced and awful food.

Can be a little bit of a wait for delivery would recommend just going to pick it up if possible. Food is always delicious can’t fault it and portion sizes are good!

Awful. One of the worst chinese meals I've had. Our normal chinese takeaway - Neighbours was closed so we went to jenerics after not being for a while. It used to be a decent place to eat but we'll never be going back. They don't care about the quality of the food, all they care about is making money and constantly upping their pricing. The service on the phone was rude and ignorrent. Not one ounce of customer service skills, very blunt and mumbly. If you want a decent chinese meal, try Neighbours in Orford. They are well priced and actually care about the quality of food they are serving.

This is now a very overpriced Chinese food delivery service and I would suggest they think through their pricing going forward. Jenerics Fearnhead used to be good and reasonably priced but this is the last time I use them. Nothing excuses exploiting the customer.

Good grief!! I used to eat here every week and loved the food and couldn’t fault them. Now the place is empty when once everyone was queuing out the door,the staff were great and the whole place ticked along like a well oiled machine. My meal was produced very quickly which probably explains the cold chips and rice.The rest of it was mediocre and all our plates had food left on them. This was definitely my last visit to Jenerics sory to say. Oh! I was overcharged by the way !

Me and my husband booked a Chinese order of just eat. This order went to the fernhead branch for some reason. In which we live in chapelford. Why would we order the food to fernhead? That's because we didn't. The girl we spoke to was so rude and awkward. Basically telling us to go through just eat. Did not help in any way shape or form. Why couldn't the chapelford branch make? Very poor service, we will not be returning.

salt and pepper chicken is 10/10 kfc wish they had the recipe no kizzy.

Never ordering again! I used to occasionally order and food was alright but not any more. I ordered hot and sour soup from here which tasted like pure vinegar and immediately after eating a bit of it (not even half a bowl) I got food poisoning! Frankly I am reporting this to food standards agency. Not only does the place have bad hygiene but it is also expensive! & when I went the time before (october/November) they charged me the wrong price compared one listed on the menu! When questioned them about it over the phone we were told that the new menus still haven't arrived with the new prices but they still had the old menus out with old, cheaper prices on! Frankly this is false advertisement. Unacceptable and illegal! The place has gone down hill massively. Shame.

I've ordered from here before and the sweet and soir king prawns we're really nice so my partner decide to order the same again but when it came they had given us pork instead of prawns which I couldn't eat as I don't eat meat I phoned up to tell them and they weren't interested the man on the phone just said "yeah and " just wanted to make sure they are more vigilant as they could have given someone with an allergy the wrong food and made them seriously ill or worse.

My usual Chinese have decided to up their prices by 30% so lost me as a customer. I decided to try here as it was nice the last time I went. Ordered the ultimate salt & pepper box and it was grim. Rick hard chicken, a rib with no meat on it, wings which tasted really dodgy and undercooked chips. Avoid at all costs.

I will never use again - ordered tea just before 5 order was taken phoned back nearly 2hrs later only to be told they lost my order and never even phoned me it's problem after problem offered me 10% off they have forgotten items out 5 out of 6 times il never use again Another thing I've noticed is the price has gone up every couple of weeks Shame used to be spot on

Tbh, thought the scran would’ve been a bit more sigma chad than I originally thought. First thing I noticed was the poor manners from a staff member I think they him named when the. Moreover, the lack of disrespect I receeved was disgusting and quite frankly, I’m not a happy chappy customer. Jenerics used to be my main source of eat. This used to be an excellent Chinese takeaway. It is no longer good. The scruffy fellow who sniffs and plays with his nose ring should be nowhere near food or customers. I'm sure he is a fine young man, but just in the wrong place. The food used to be good, it is not now, it's poor at best, and as for the prices, they are made up on the spot - different every week.

This used to be a great takeaway but not any more. The price hikes are ridiculous and the food is now nothing more than awful, the inside needs a thorough clean and staff need to understand that a smile and pleasant service wouldn't go a miss..

I am aware that inflation is at 9% but Jeniric’s prices have risen by around 30% in past month . Asked for a current price list , not available !!! Puzzled as yet again their card payment device was not working ??????? Won’t be going again .

Curry sauce was dreadful all we could taste was Salt lots of it won't be using again 😡

First and last visit, when I asked for salt and vinegar on my food I was met with a blank look and told to put it on myself I then explained I'd like them to do it before they bag it up so they took the salt and vinegar from the counter which the customers touch and into the back to put it on my food, I'm no expert but that's bad hygiene practice especially during times of COVID. The prices are more expensive than other places and the chips are frozen not fresh potatoes peeled and chipped.

Only popped in to order a hot and sour soup and tray of half chips half rice and curry sauce. £7.50 it was and they messed the order up giving a tray of chips with curry and a full separate rice. I think we were charged for the full dishes also. Got home and soup was average with some kind of bright red colouring in it. Chips were terrible, they were like cheap oven chips which had been cooked once then re cooked the next night and had lots of manky black bits in them Nothing like fresh fried chippy chips. Hardly any curry sauce either so dishes were dry as a bone. Wife finished hers and then immediatly threw it all back up again. Avoid, there are much better Chinese takeaway chippys in the area

My usual Chinese was closed. I rang at 6.40pm, told would be 1 - 1.5 hours. 2 hours later still not arrived so cancelled and asked for refund (paid by card). Couldn't refund card so said would send cash. Xmas eve meal ruined, was really looking forward to it as well. As at 9.40 (3 hours after ordering) still waiting for refund. Sorry but never going to use this place again and deffo won't recommend for delivery.

We use this place because it's quick and dependable. We place an order by phone then pick it up ourselves. We're always satisfied 😋👍

Just had sausage and chips from here. I should have read the reviews. Expensive, can live with that, sausage was ok but the chips were awful, truly awful. The best way I can describe them is that they were the cheapest oven chips which were fried. If you like good chips avoid. If like ok chips avoid. They are chips for heaven's sake how can you make them so bad?

Not a big fan if I'm honest, it's like pulling teeth talking to the staff when ordering over the phone, quite often get told to "hang on" whilst they deal with other customers, can often wait over an hour for delivery and sometimes the order is wrong, personally I don't eat it as it's just too greasy.

Absolutely appalling. Over 45 minutes late and when we finally got it I found quite a big bit of plastic in my food. They were no use when I phoned, all they said was "we're sorry about that" and offered 20% discount off our next order, which is going to waste as I will not be ordering from jenrics again.

Ordered over 2 hours ago, delivery time fie to either iwth just eat.. now 30 mins late na still not arrived.. be very careful if ordering from here as it takes on average 90 mins for an rer this is the first time we have had to wait 2 hours.. plus... if you cannot fill orders stop taking them.

I normally really like Jenirics takeaway but last nights order was very late in arriving, the prawn crackers were extremely stale, the noodles were very dry and the chicken fried rice quite tasteless. Please return to your usual good standards Jenirics.

My wife's favourite place, mine, not so much. the food is OK, prices are good and portion sizes are ok. It just average

I have eaten here quite regularly for a few years now but the last few visits I've felt that the taste has dropped off and I've been drinking tonnes of water after every meal. I just ordered special foo yung and it was the best I've ever had anywhere. The only difference? I asked for no MSG. It was first class, not too salty, abundant and diverse flavours and lovely and light... My wife ordered special chow mein and felt exactly the same. I honestly don't know why any restaurant add MSG. It isn't needed.... Will definitely be back and will always have no MSG from now on...

Really gone downhill- ordered fillet steak in peking sauce.Received very weak and watery version of peking sauce which was the actual colour of Chinese curry. No sign of the usual sticky hot sweetness in a rich plum shade just big chunks of pineapple.Also ordered a dish and requested very small amount of ginger to find it overloaded with it.Just not good enough when taking customers hard earned pay.Jenrics you can no longer rely on just loyalty you need to give quality products.

Ordered takeaway at 5pm for collection. Sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and chips. Back home in 10 minutes. Chips hard and inedible. Rice dry and chicken tough. Feel like I was served leftover from lunchtime. Had many takeaways over the years from here but this was as bad as it gets. Request answers from Jeniric please.

If I could give 0 I would. I placed an order on just eats and it stated that delivery time was 60-75min. I placed my order at 18:19 and was e-mailed that my delivery would be at 19:45. I'm no genius but that over 75mins but my daughter wanted a Chinese so I'd thought I'll wait. At 20:00 still no meal had been delivered. I phoned jenericks, there was no apology for it being soooooooooooooo late i was just told "its out on delivery". Having to wait over 1hr 40mins for a take away is not good, there is no excuse that is very very very poor management. DON'T GO TO JENERICKS VERY POOR SERVICE.

Been going here for years & it's been excellent but tried to order tonight & was kept on hold for 10mins & then told 1hr 40mins so said no thanks & then attitude of the girl taking order was disgraceful & rude - hence gone elsewhere 😟🤨🤔

Ordered Salt and Pepper Chips and they were stone cold with raw veg and the person serving me, a scruffy scouse man told me to f##k off when i complained. FUMING AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Very quick service and nice Chinese food.

Average Chinese meals, not too long if you go in order and wait but if you order at weekend be prepared for a long wait. Usually your estimated two hours delivery and it USUALLY turns up on time but we have waited two and half hours before now and we only live locally. Not too bad as long as your not starving.

Rang thro telephone order , came it was wrong , then got left hanging on for five minutes to then hear a staff member say oh it’s them again ! Get the order right and I won’t have to complain ,disgusting customer service , won’t be using them again

Wouldn't go ever again, only ordered special fried rice and a carton of curry, waited 30 mins people came in and got served with their meals even Steve price the Warrington coach, had to go and ask about mine. First and last time I would go in would go to another one and get served quicker

If you have a steel stomach and eat here, Please do consider this before you eat here in the future, as you can se through into the kitchen and watch full food preparation. given that I seen the young lad scoop his hand in the chicken no gloves on, put it in a container, scratch his nose, pick up a piece of food and eat, then touch everything in the kitchen. There was soap visible but I presume he felt it was not required and he was immune to cross contamination 😊. I did inform the front of house, trust me I was polite, no response and I was expected to go home and eat. Suddenly I felt full and put the chicken and sweet corn soup in the bin where it was safer for my future 😂😂

Well my local Chinese are closed for holiday so decided to try jenerics this evening , wish I hadn’t bothered! Ordered crispy duck and two portions of noodles one with veg one without, £24.10 in total . Firstly I’ll start with the duck .. had a strange smell , made a few pancakes with the LETTUCE and cucumber ( never had lettuce given with duck always spring onion and cucumber) thankful plenty of hoisin sauce was supplied , good job as it the duck was dry as a nun , didn’t taste like other crispy duck I’ve had . Now the noodles , dry as a nun also , I ordered mine with veg but all it came with was bean sprouts . I did try to resolve my issues over the phone , they told me duck was dry anyway? They offered to send another duck out but unfortunately I was going out after the meal so this wasn’t an option . No other option was given as they wanted to see the dry duck ! Safe to say won’t be ordering from here ever again and will stick to my usual Chinese , lesson learnt .

Went in jenirics padgate shops at 10:30 they close at 11 the food is absolutely horrible chips like carbored chicken really hard and my noodles were stone cold🤮 absolutely vile £26 pound on stone cold horrible food...

racist workers were saying racial comments they thought we couldn't hear from behind the till then my food came . 2 portions of the same thing. one was half empty which you could tell they had poured dirty oil in there i could literally pour the it out of the box of chips.

Absolutley rubbish service and food. Rang last night to order and got told 1 1/2 hours for delivery which we accepted. Then rang back at 9.05 pm to be told off the call handler 1 of the drivers had broke down and the other driver had just left. 40mins later the driver turned up with our food and said he had only left the takeaway 5 mins ago. So 9.45 we got our food. Dished up and was freezing. Obvs put it in the bin and rang them. Asked for manager. Told the manager that some1 is lieing, eaither the call handler of the driver but its rubbish service and food was freezing to be told off him he wil give us SOME money off our next order after spending £23 for the cold food we already had. No refund offered. Well theres definatley not going to be another order. DONT WANT TO GIVE 1 STAR BUT CANT POST OTHERWISE

Absolutely appalling food! Massively overpriced £15.50 for two portions of chips, some onions and a prawn curry that was utterly inedible!Even our dogs wouldn't eat the curry!I cannot stress strongly enough, please don't risk your health! We were both ill the following day, and they expected to rectify the issue, with the offer of MORE FOOD??? NEVER AGAIN!

Ordered for the family as a treat after a busy day. Food was cold. Got 2 portions of crispy noodles we didn’t order which were inedible. Main dishes were horrible and most went on the bin. I am generally not a fussy eater so very unusual for me. Won’t order there again.

Always order chinese from here tonight it took 2 hours 10 mins to come tonight absolute joke!!! When I rang after an hour and 45 they told me it was out with the driver...25 mins later it turned up piping hot (apart from the chips they tasted like they had been done hours) clearly wasnt out with the driver!!!! Also they couldnt tell me the price over the phone as she wasnt on the computer roughly 17 quid she said turned out to be £19.90....£1.50 more than the prices on the menu!!!

Been using jenerics for years but need to change as we are sick of being dissapointed ordered tonight it came wrong so rang to tell them an they sent out what was missing an it was still wrong so sent it back...its happened a few times now ..staff not taking down the right orders ..food not hot enough ...chips like they are a day old ...the list goes on never using them again!!!

Okay it's not going to win Michelin stars any day soon , but it is a perfectly decent local takeaway.

After waiting 1 hour 15 mins for the food, we rang up to see where it was at, the woman said it's out now and should be with you soon! After another 25 mins (thinking the food would be cold) we rang again and the guy on the phone said it's going out with the next available driver. What a joke.

Discusting, worst Chinese I've ever had!!!Chips tasted like they where a week old. My meal of chicken in chilli in garlic sauce was a ready made pack of chicken mixed with a can of veg is the only way to put it, combination ribs where dry and tasted of alcohol... Awful

We ordered food at 6.55pm, and it didn't come until 9.20pm. We rang multiple times whilst waiting and were told "it's leaving now" every time. Will not be ordering from there again. Beyond a joke.
