I’ve honestly not many words, so dry and tastes like theyre yesterdays batch and have been warmed up. Very little to no potato inside. Seen softer dog treats. Won’t be returning.

The food is a bit meh it is hot but its not the best Chinese Takeaway I've been to. The salt and pepper chips looked very burnt and hard and they were too salty like extremely salty, the normal chips are lovely and also the sausage is really nice, the salt and pepper chicken is nice. The curry sauce is a hit and miss tho.

Love the crab claws and deep fried wontons. The prawn fried rice is also okay. The portions are big and worth the price. The service is nice, although sometimes they forget the instruction. My main problem is that the wet foods like the sauces and chow mein are really salty.

The food was disgusting! The hot & sour soup tasted like dirty water, i gagged. The salt & pepper chips tasted like dirty oil and they’d been warmed up. The special curry was inedible. The fried rice was swimming in oil and it tasted dirty! People who give it five star are clearly fake reviews, no one could seriously eat this and like it!!!

Foods are so delicious, portions are amazing ( 1 portion is more than enough for two) and prices are just more than fantastic. If you would like to have a great lunch or late dinner, don't hesitate to try this restaurant. I can't enough recommend them. Hygiene rate is above 5, food quality is also above 5.

Ordered to Newmarket Golden Bowl through just eat. Was sent to this one instead, was told I would be able to get a refund and called, the woman on the phone told me she was unable to give me a refund (dont know how thats possible) because its just eats place to do it, woman was very unhelpful and didnt want to help. Just wasted £22 on 2 dishes, hope you enjoy the extra cash treat yourselves on me :) wish i could give less than one star

First time visit since came under new management and very impressed, very friendly staff, food super fresh & tasty, good menu for us vegetarians :-)

Chicken burger was terrible, dry, no mayo which i asked for, oh and salad, just a bear something that was surpose to be a piece of chicken stuck to the bun DISGUSTING!!! would not go again

It is one of the best Chinese takeaways in Warrington. Great food, the lady owner is great with everyone, and you can feel the passion and the culture in every bite.

Actually really nice. I’ve lived near the place for 10 years and never tried it, nor know anyone who had. On a whim I gave it a go tonight, having heard it’s under new management. Huge portions for the money. Very tasty, with good quality meat and prawns. The “Three Supreme” was especially good. Possibly gone to the top of my list of best Chinese takeaways in the area (as long as it’s consistent next time as you never know). Delivery was via Just Eat, but it was quick and they updated the status promptly.

I get a meal twice a week, the food I find is always spot on top food

Under new management the lady who owns it is lovely portions are well better value for money and food is absolutely lovely order from her at least twice a wk and going again tonight

Under NEW MANAGEMENT Golden Bowl is now brightly lit and inviting. Husband and wife team run this establishment. Offers Chinese and English food. Friendly service and tasty food.

Small portions, dry and barely inedible due to amount of spice powder on food (ordered salt and pepper chicken and chips)

Ordered from here a few times over the years. Sometimes arrives no problem. Today I went to order only to realise that they didn’t take cash just before placing the order. After about 40 minutes of faffing about, managed to get my friend to transfer me money in exchange for cash. Finally placed the order which was accepted, only to check my phone 20 minutes later to see they had cancelled it without explanation. An hour wasted !! We have now had to order from elsewhere which will not be delivered for an hour and 40. What a joke! Wish we had never bothered.

Very nice food, i got the beef fried rice, the wontons, soft noodles, chips along with a few other items all where very yummy and went down well with me and partner would go to again

Food was late. Food was cool. Food was missing. When we called the restaurant the person who answered argued with us. Asking us are we sure food was missing because they made it themselves. Either that or delivery driver had a nice snack on the way here. They were adament that they won't be sending the missing food our way and to get a refund from Justeat. Lovely. Such a shame because the food that did arrive was really tasty. First and last time we'll be going there

Ordered from here tonight sui mais were raw inside. Rang up to be told put in microwave for 1-2 minutes I said no I'm bringing them back didn't even bother to look at them. Not going here again customer service is shocking

Great value & good quality food

Meel was tasty. Not bad place. Only used it once so cant say more. No reason not to try it.

Only tried the king prawn curry and chop suey rolls on a couple of occasions. Had them delivered. Great food, decent prices, piping hot and delivered earlier than forecast.

Only gave 1 star cos no option for none, food has always been lovely, but customer service is shocking, £63 order tonight, s&p chips missing, rang to complain, was promised a resend, was later told to send money for food which had already been paid for, absolutely disgusted, NEVER ordering again

Cold food, tiny portions ie 6 pices of chicken in my salt and pepper chicken, portion of chips that litrally was enuff to fit a soup bowl,and litrally half a box of rice,, and what do I get told when I call and complane IF YOU DONT LIKE IT GO TO ANOTHER SHOP absolutely Disgusting and so disappointed!!!!!!

I went to place an order , it says 30/40 mins, so I ordered. Went my order went through the time jumped up to 1 hr 20, I rang and explained if it said thst on the app I wouldn't of ordered, they said if I don't like I can cancel, the woman was very snotty and had very poor people skills..... !! I won't be ordering from there again.

Absolutely fuming ordered Chinese to collect at 18.00 was ready for 18.10 got it back put the kids out hadn’t had mine yet has I was busy went to put it out and was 2 curry sauces missing rang to get loads of abuse on the phone and said bring the food back so they could check wouldn’t mind cost £39.20 always use this Chinese but never again

I love this place very much. there is a romantic spirit. The kitcen is good. the service is powerful and the stuff is trained. The pay is fair. deeply recommend.

I ordered the delivered takeaway meal at around 7 : 15 pm on Just Eat. They said it would arrive at 8 : 30 pm. The meal didnt arrive till 10 : 00 pm. We tried to contact them but they must of left the phone off the hook. It ruined the evening. Not an apology or message to say it was running late. Shabby service and attitude. Another customer that they have lost. Terrible.

Don't buy the pork balls,made me and my son ill

Order arrived 20 mins late and chicken was raw and pink in the middle. Called up to request replacement and woman couldn’t understand what I was saying and talked over me. No explanation or apology. Ended up speaking to a sound bloke (think was delivery driver) and he said I would have a replacement in 20 mins. True to his word he turned up but chicken was pink and raw AGAIN!! Called up again and the woman just kept saying ‘I don’t understand what you want, you got other order!’ (?!) she said ‘lease call again another time’ and hung up on me! Went down there as was livid. Took the pink chicken. All woman could say was ‘where is other box?’ like she didn’t believe me. still no apology or explanation. I asked for money back and she was reluctant but ended reimbursing me. As she was handing it over she said ‘I only like happy customer, please do not come again’ which I found hilarious. Went to Gastronomic and got a delicious, properly cooked meal. Golden Bowl should be shut down. Appalling food and customer service.

Absolutely disgusting will never go back the worst salt and pepper box I have ever tasted dont know how they can call it salt and pepper tasted like *** the chicks balls had like a layer on mash around them I carnt explain the rest made me feel sick and just couldn't eat it, which isn't like me to leave any food on the plate went stright in the bin,been robbed £15.80 just for 2 cans of coke and waited over a hour for delivery this is not the place to go for any food.

Bought 2 sausages for my boys both at the same time had a bite n spat it out..they passed them me you could smell the meat was off...i took them back the woman on counter tried to tell me it was paper making them bad i told her smell them she wouldnt..i told her put the remaining 2 that was in the food warmer in the bin..she wouldnt she tried a bite of one n threw the remainder of her half eaten food back into the food heater hence the photo...totally disgusting will never go back and would advise others not too either...even more so that she threw a half eaten sausage back into a place were she keeps customers food

It used to be OK but now its been taken over not only are the meals even better the salt and pepper boxes they do are good and salt and pepper chips are amazing.

Just been in to order a chicken fried rice and a portion of chips. Didnt get the chips and the rice is disgusting! Cost 10 quid to go in the bin! Seriously won't be in again!

We had a special fu yung from here and it didn't quite taste right. The meat and sea food tasted old and it appeared it had been warmed up several times. This proved to be true because my wife took ill several hours later and is still suffering nearly two weeks later. I suffered for three days. I would never visit this place again and advise anybody to think twice before they do.

I'd give this no stars if I could as that's exactly what I ended up with. Nothing. The restaurant wouldn't answer the phone. Ended up contacting just eat - who couldn't even contact the owner - and getting a refund.

Can't complain, good food, good service

This used to be my favourite takeaway,i dont know what has happened but last night was dreadful.tough meat in black pepper,no prawn in the prawn toast,they forgot to put the curry sauce in and awful customer service.will not be going back.

Horrendous! Took 2 hours and buttoned us every time we rang to ask where it was. Hasn't come still, been ordered at 8:27pm and it is 10:21pm. TRAGIC
