Food awful every dish ordered far too salty, both appetisers and mAin meal wont be ordering again

Arrived really hot, great taste and they accommodated my requests so thank you very much!

The share box was disgustingly salty, it was very unpleasant and impossible to eat, all the food was covered in salt. This definitely needs to be reviewed.

I ordered salt n pepper xhips, noodles and chilli beef at 6:30 and it didnt get to me until 8:45, i tried speaking to the restaurant but they was unhelpful and rude. My food was cold and i asked for some money back as i wasnt happy at all they, said no. Never ordering from here again!

Food was cold and soggy , tried ringing them for 40 minutes what a waste of money that was

My order was ordered at 5pm for 9pm , it was 45 mins late !!!My sweet and sour crispy chicken in batter came as a chicken burger sliced (without the bun ) In sweet and sour sauce ! ! When I rang they said they don’t sell chicken burgers !! Beg to differ ! When I rang day after they said it was Chinese new year ! And we’re very busy ! Shouldn’t take orders that you can’t cope with, I’m still a paying customer, no refund offered or anything it’s just not good enough !

Chow main was warm not hot, too much sauce on top with noodles underneath without anything on. For £6 prawn toast we expected better quality and the sweet and sour sauce was cold with jelly bits in it.

Not very happy food was cold and dry and overcooked.i waited an hour and 20 minutes for the food.the driver was friendly . We complained and said we could get a discount next time we order but i will never be ordering from there again .

It's my usual takeaway restaurant. I dnt suggest dine in cuz it's not suitable for that however, foods are nice there and delivery time is on point 💯

Salt and pepper box- Arrived hot, good quality and size, pork and chicken chunks were a little overdone but the rest was very tasty and nice and spicy!

This is the same restaurant as China Red so I'm not surprised my order was over 2 hours late like last time. Food poor, delivery time a joke and when you call its a lady with her loud child fobbing you off.

Appalling customer service food was over two hours late. Every time I spoke to the restaurant they told me it’d be five minutes after two hours tried to cancel the order but they wouldn’t allow me to by the time the food came were past the point of being hungry so food went to waste They would not provide any discount or refund for the food will not be using this restaurant again.

I don’t know whether they’ve changed to the chef it’s not the same the spring rolls smelt rank

THE WORST takeaway I've ever had. Absolutely shocking. Ribs where just fat, fish bits where just batter, rice was soggy, satay sauce looked piss, nuggets where solid, chips where cold and soggy. Not even the box was adequate. Falling to pieces when I opened it. AVOID!!!!!

Food cold rang restaurant on numerous occasions, fobbed off with the usual "it's on its way" or it's ten minutes away. Cold and inedible, really poor.

Easy to follow menu on line. Food delivered in time given. Hot when arrived. Excellent to eat!

Ribs were very meat free just mainly bones the rest ok

Couldn’t comment on food quality as they didn’t even deliver it after 2 hours of waiting. Despite 2 calls, still waiting for food. Rang twice to ask where it was and given different excuses each time… Asked for a refund as it’s not gone 10pm and I’m not eating Chinese food at this time of night when it was ordered at 7.45pm. No idea if it will be refunded as requested in to my card as they tried to suggest I should claim back via just eat. Not happy at all.

Most of the food was good The black bean chow mein is spicy. We did not want spicy black bean. The menu gives no indication that this is a hot item

Ordered the salt and pepper Box, an it was completely inedible....I understand the concept of salt an pepper it always my go to for Chinese food, but I think this restaurant dose not, the whole this was covered in salt you could see it, feel it and eating it was a chore. We managed a couple of the items, but even the ribs were salty so we ended up with curry and rice for £26

Ordered at 18.45, said it would arrived at 19.24 at 20.35 still waiting and told it’ll be 10 minutes. Not the first time this has happened so will be the last time we use them. Simply not good enough!

The curry cartons had been squashed every thing in the bag was inedible except the rice which was in a plastic container everything ruined will never be returning

Orange duck wasn’t edible; orange too artificial tasting. Peking chicken sauce wasn’t nice

*AVOID* EGG FRIED RICE WITH NO EGG IN IT. DUCK CHOW MEIN THAT IS DRIER THAN THE SAHARA. PRAWN BALLS COME WITH THE SMALLEST POT OF RED SAUCE EVER. THIS IS NOT A CHINESE, IT IS A RIP OFF AND BLAND. PLEASE CLOSE DOWN

The worst Chinese I’ve ever had! Egg fried rice was just a boiled rice with soy sauce, no egg in it. We spent over £50 for food that was awful. £1 per the tiniest spring roll. Not gonna mention the duck chow main that was just bad and tasteless.

The food took an hour and a half to arrive, rang them after an hour and they said it was out for delivery, rang 3 more times still hasn’t arrived and when it finally did it was cold. Rang back and said it was cold and missing stuff and asked for a refund, the lady was extremely rude kept going off the phone and said she can’t because I’ve already opened the box?? The chicken and ribs were so dry, couldn’t eat any of it

Awful! Food took an hour and a half to arrive even after ringing 3 times when it had been an hour to check where the food was. When it did it was cold and dry. Rang for a refund and said they can take their food back they said they can’t as I have already opened the box. I couldn’t eat any of it and they refused to give me a refund

We had the salt and pepper box and oh my godddd it was absolutely stunning! LOVED the king prawn balls were Devine and my first time trying. Chips were the best I’ve had hands down. Will definitely be ordering again! Our new go too Chinese

Ordered for food to come 18.45 turned up at 19.05 After being charged 5 pounds for delivery. Food arrived cold. The quality of chicken they put in rice and noodle dishes is awful so paid for special fried rice and ended up just eating rice without any of the meat it was that poor. Charged 5 pound for salt and pepper chips.. that where the texture and taste of re-cooked chips couldn't eat them. Salt and pepper ribs cost 7.50 got 5 ribs which had no meat at all. Cost nearly 30 pounds and it was shocking. Will nit use them again and I advise anyone else to avoid this place. Disappointed.

Expensive and late, chicken balls were greasy and cold, prawn toast was burnt and cold, rice was cold and delivery was 30 mins late, rang shop and was told 10-15 mins but still didn't arrive, avoid

Best Chinese delivery I've had in a long time

To be fair food was nice but over 2 hours to arrive. Would be good if they were just honest with delivery times. Rather than get your order and then disappoint you. We asked for a refund after 2 hours and they refused.

The ribs are the best iv ever eaten.

AVOID! They always get the food orders wrong then expect you to go and pick it up meaning the rest of your food is going cold. When you try to explain it over the phone, they argue and hang up - so rude. They don't take card payments either. Really gone down hill and I won't be going there again!

If only there was a zero rating, this place will win an Oscar for sham and scam. Totally messed a lovely night in Warrington. How on earth can plain boiled rice with bloody dark sauce be sold as Chinese fried rice? Awful, awful and disrespectfully substandard. Avoid at all cost even when in an utter state of stupor. It's a no from me and a big fat zero rating. And oh! If you want to be sick be their guest.

Terrible food and even worse customer service. We have been regular customers of China China for many years now the last year the food has gone down in quality and on 3 occasions the 'vegetarian' dishes came with meat. Last week made and order as we didn't want to drive to go and get food and once the food arrived one of the portions of rice was missing, the rest of food was almost inedible and after informing them immediately of the missing rice they said they would send it out ASAP, and hour later still no rice so rang the restaurant and let them this and that the food was of terrible quality, soggy tofu, cold obviously reheated chips, raw veg in the mains, the restaurant apologised and said they would give us a free order to the same amount to apologise. Fast forward to this week, ordered the food and it was delivered, plated it up and then the restaurant rang to say the chef said we had to pay for it (even though they had already acknowledged on the phone we were getting a free order of the same amount as the previous week) informed the lady on the phone we would not be paying for it as we were told we didn't have to and we couldn't eat last week's food it was that bad, the lady was very apologetic but the chef was adamant we must pay or give the food back, whilst this phone call was taking place the poor delivery driver had been sent back to collect the food which he was really embarrassed about, chef wouldn't speak on the phone and so had to give the food back half of which had already been opened. Absolutely disgusting, so £40 later had no food 2 weeks on the run and I'd love to know what they are going to do with the food that they took back off us considering we're in a pandemic let's hope it wasn't sent out to someone else.

Have had a number of deliveries & all have been excellent. Great tasty food salt & pepper mixed starter a family favourite. Has always been delivered on time or early with friendly polite drivers. If you haven’t already try China China do it!!

I’d never tried this place so I thought I’d give it a go. Disappointing at best. Won’t be going back that’s for sure but the dog enjoyed it.

The best curry I have ever had. Chicken curry and egg fried rice very generous portions. And beautiful prawn toast I would highly recommend 👌

Disgusting food arrived an hour early. It was cold and sauce was non existence. I asked for a refund and was told point bank this would not happen. My advice do not order from China China.

Very, very poor and disappointing food. The sweet and sour chicken was tasteless and the batter soggy. I ordered 2 portions of chips and only one arrived but they were so awful (like oven chips) I didn’t bother to ask for the second lot. Portions are very small and it’s not inexpensive. I don’t recommend at all and certainly won’t be using again.

Placed an order for delivery at 7.15 . Got a message to say it would be delivered at 8.15. Delivery driver rang me at 9.10 apologising for being late ( not his fault). Takeaway obviously accepting to many orders. Won’t be using again.

After ordering on just eat and chasing up by phone call the food turned up 2 and a half hours after ordered even though apparently the driver left 10 minutes ago when I rang after an hour and half. To be fair he probably did leave when they said because all the food was cold and soggy. we have used these usually to pick up for the last 17 years but today will be the last time.

hot delicious food don’t believe all the reviews you read on here from my experience it’s one of the best Chinese takeaways in Warrington which is hard to find and easy to see why they are so popular.

Ordered beef curry beef was raw . not impressed . Arrived on time

Ordered a delivery as came up on just eat. app. Wow not only did the food take over an hour to arrive of which we called to chase it up to be told it’s on its way it arrived and was terrible. Salt and pepper chicken was so overcooked it was like chewing rope and nearly took my teeth out. Asked for green Thai curry got some brown type curry which resembled something from a baby’s diaper. Wasn’t gonna call for a replacement as waited so long in the first place. Rice tasted like paper. Just awful. Never again.

When placing order he said they had doubled a rib order in error and charged for it I said to leave it it would be ok. However when I checked the bill I thought it was too high so I checked and found they had doubled the order on two lots of ribs and overcharged the delivery so in effect we paid 14.60 more than anticipated. It was on the bank holiday weekend and we were away for the next five days so called them today. He was most aggressive and said we should have called at the time I pointed out that we had friends round and there was more than one person opening up the food. He would not discuss and I asked if he was prepared to lose a customer over this and he said yes. We had only just started using them and had placed 4 orders in the last two weeks our last order was for £75, and passed info on to friends, I will be advising them not to use........very rude people do not deserve to be in business.

Partner brought home takeaway after finishing work had half and half chicken was like rubber...we also had spring rolls opened it up so glad I never bit into it as the smell was vile and made me gag. Can only describe it as someone with a bad stomach. Won't be eating from here again.

Got charged £9 for curry and chips and two spring rolls. When we got home and bit into the spring rolls we’d never been more disgusted. They were the most foul tasting thing I’ve ever eaten, the only thing I could relate it to is the smell of dirty socks. Absolutely vile

Just had set meal for 4 . I can't believe previous negative reviews. We found all the meals to be excellent and fantastic value for money.This is the first time we have used this takeaway,and based on the meals we have just had , we will definitely be using this takeaway on a regular basis.

I have no idea why China China's rating is so low. Every meal I've ever had from them has been spot on. They really deserve a higher rating.
