Wok bruvvas in Birmingham

Came in just before closing time and a gentleman called Yousaf stayed open for me, he was extremely helpful polite the customer service was fantastic and of course the food was great!

A little hidden gem, I have to say the pan Asian food with a hint of desi style cooking just makes it absolutely beautiful. The beef bao buns wow! I'm not a big noodle fan but that pad thai beef wow! Starters everything was just great, price is also reasonable. They give 10% on cash payments which is sweet. 5/5 for me.

Decided to give this place a chance am so glad we did. The place itself is quiet small but very friendly welcoming and vibrant. The staff were lovely friendly knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was just amazing lovely flavours and a great desi twist. Really worked well. They do accept card as well but will give you a 10 percent discount if you pay with cash. Overall lovely place and will be back soon.

Pleasantly surprised! I’ve tried a number of Japanese and Pan Asian restaurants in Birmingham and this is right up there. We got the Nasi Goreng, dynamite chicken, chicken Tom yum, catsu curry and pad Thai, all were very good. Will be coming again and highly recommend.

Was really excited to try this place was left a little disappointed. Service was great however we ordered 2 mains with chicken and the chicken was rubbery and tasted off. We went on a weekday so maybe it wasn't busy and they reused the chicken but we had to send the food back and ordered tofu. Tofu was deep fried and overcooked too. The flavour was there but unfortunately due to our experience with the chicken we will not be returning . Was excited to have a nice Asian place nearby but I guess it wasn't meant to be!

We had the Ramen bowl with prawns, it was absolutely delicious, hearty, wholesome food. The service was also impeccable.

Not often can you find a nice local Far Eastern restaurant. Pleasantly surprised with the flavours and presentation of Wok Bruvvas. A little let down that there was no Sushi or buns for the teriyaki beef burgers, but the food that we were able to order made up for it. Food is reasonably priced but there is a common trend in food outlets nowadays for drinks to be way too overpriced. Overall we were happy and satisfied with what we ordered and will definitely make a return trip to sample more of the menu.

Best place for Chinese food .. amazing place great food, great taste a lot to choose from My regular place to go. 100% recommend to everyone who hasn’t tried yet you won’t be disappointed

The place is very clean and decor was very inviting. The food was amazing. I will definitely will be coming here again. I had the flaming Cracker which is full of flavour and very spicy. It’s the replica dish of the firecracker at Wagamama. The dynamite prawns in this place is good compared to other places I have eaten at. They gave us a bowl of prawn crackers on the house. Initially, I was worried that we were the only dine-in customers on a Friday night. But I’m glad that we gave this place a chance. Thumbs up from me.

The pan-Asian dining experience was exceptional. From the delectable dumplings to the flavorful katsu curry and nasi goreng, each dish was not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly return in the future.

First time i’ve eaten in. I have probably order 3/4 times for collection in the past. It never disappoints. Fantastic food. Came with wife and my 1 year old daughter today. Had the Flaming Cracker + Katsui Jap Curry. Both were delicious. Flaming cracker has a good kick to it too!. In the past, I’ve always had it with beef although Beef doesn't appear to be an option on the menu anymore, but staff were kind enough to accommodate! Service was pretty fast and reasonably priced. Do i recommend this place? Yes, i certainly do and intend to continue to return… Keep up the great food!

I loved all yhe dishes apart from the tom yum soup, although it had alot of flavour it lacked the authentic light and refreshing taste that is meant to be.

Didn't know what to expect.ordered Raman(fiery) and loaded Wok Chips, have to say very well presented and the food was absolutely delicious, they seem to pride themselves on quality, yes no parking but the food, Mashallah well worth it. Cannot recommend enough. Will sure to visit with the kids.

Really enjoyed the food here, it's a nice small restaurant.(Edit it's a nice big place now. They've had a proper refurb) Not usually a fan of this cuisine but the food here really changed my mind. Not many places to try as none are halal. So I'm glad this has opened in Birmingham as it's a change from all the same smash burger places. Have been multiple times and have never been let down.

Amazing place, amazing food and amazing service. Ordered a Katsu Curry which was delicious, full of flavours and the portions are massive. It’s really hard to get a full halal menu in Birmingham so please do check them out. Keep it up brothers. Jzk

I've been meaning to order from Wok Bruvvas for a very long time, as I don't live in Birmingham, and today I got the opportunity, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! I ordered the yaki soba in both beef and chicken, gyoza (vegetarian), Nasegoren, chicken goujons and dynamite prawns. The presentation was impeccable, the garnishing was so beautiful, my mouth was watering before id even had a bite! Everything was absolutely spot on. My absolute favorite was the Nasegoren 💯, my husband loves beef and he thought the yaki soba was delicious. I have no faults with this place, definitely will be ordering again. And again. And again.

Starting throwing up after having the Shumai Dim Sums. Not ordering from here again.

The food is great here, i love the veg tom yum soup. I have only had starters. But i went to pick up food & there was a man sitting there clearly part of the staff, whom kept sniffling etc with his nose the entire time & put me off my food. Go blow your nose, or if you are not well do not be there, it is a food establishment. The chef & girl at the counter were lovely.

We ordered Gyoza, Dumplings, Shumai. Everything was perfect. Chilli oil sauce was perfect. Customer service on top notch. Recommend 😌❤️

I have tried this establishment a few times now, sadly the quality and portion size has gone down. I paid £12 for a firecracker only to receive 4 small pieces of chicken. I rang to only be told we only put 80grams of chicken which is ridiculous for £12. Won’t be using this establishment again

Ordered ramen, yaki soba, katsu curry, salt and paper chips with dynamite prawns, excellent food. The gentle man was kind enough, food was piping hot. Plenty of variety of vege but very Desi taste. Good for a one time try!

Excellent halal Asian restaurant, that covers Japan, China, Indonesian, Malaysian and Thai cuisine all under one menu. The Ramen was my favourite as it is a healthy meal. The portions were big too. Next time I will try the pulled beef burger Insha'Allah. It's great that Coventry Road has so many great restaurants to eat at.

Probably the best oriental halal place I've ever eaten at. Came with my wife and we ordered quite a few starters and mains. Really enjoyed it. The spicy ramen and the salt and pepper chips especially 🔥. Very friendly service too. 5* defo recommend

Ordered the Nasegoreng and the Bao buns through Uber eats and was really impressed. Food was packaged really well and was still hot when it arrived. Really enjoyed the food, a nice mix of flavours and spice. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Ordered take away. 3 versions of Ramen, gyoza and dumplings. Ramen was excellent and quite authentic as we've recently been to Japan. Dumplings were very tasty. I'd say its a lite expensive but good food.

Waiting time was a bit long but it was worth the wait I ordered the flaming cracker, nasi goreng and two yaki sobas and we loved it all it had all the oriental flovours to the 'T'. My advise to customers order in advance before going in to pick up.Wishing the wok bruvvas team the best we will be back next time we visit Birmingham from London.

Amazing food and great experience.

I have been looking for a great tasty Japanese/Korean restaurant that does real good dim sums and Japanese/Korean food in general. Wok bruvaas food amazing and soooo tasty. We ordered the dim sums, gyoza,Yakimeshi, Ramen, stick Korean goujourns, Yangzhou, sweet chilli chips, every dish was 10/10, fresh flavours, fresh ingredients. The staff were super friendly and professional the ambiance was welcoming and nice. Could not recommend a better place to go and eat!

It was a long trip to visit but definetly worth it! Absolutely fantastic place. Food is well made with a strong authentic taste. Everything is halal and the vegetarian options are well made and take cross contamination into account. Service was lovely and staff were happy to help. Will definetly be coming again.

The food here is actually amazing. My favourite was the flaming cracker with egg fried rice and also the dynamite prawns. I will 100% be back. I wish this business success and hope it goes even further in’Sha’Allah.

BE CAREFUL. This is a genuine review to warn people this shop has chosen to keep their kitchen hidden. Whilst waiting for my order I had glimpse into the kitchen as the door opened it gave me big fear of how they treat the food for fellow humans to eat… then I was served the food by a scruffy looking guy which put me off. Anyway getting Home it tasted stale. I’m not here to bash a business for no reason but they deliberately designed it so the kitchen is hidden and this is worrying and no wonder the food tasted stale

Been a few weeks since I visited this delightful little restaurant and only got round to writing a review. Sorry it took so long. What can I say... amazing authentic Japanese, Thai, Korean Chinese food made fresh to order with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavours.  Not many of these halal options around and for the ones I've tried its hands down one of the best I've been to in Birmingham. Now has seating and is beautifully done up in side. To top it off its complimented with a welcoming team and excellent friendly customer service. I ordered the Beef Ramen and added an extra portion of prawns—it was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the vibrant, pink atmosphere gave the place an authentic Japanese aura. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.

The best ramen and at a great price

Hidden gem. We love the food here. Its set a benchmark for south east asian cuisine. Fast delivery and excellent prices are a bonus.

I have noticed for some time this small shop on the Coventry road and have wanted to try it for a while. One of my friends has also recommended Wok Bruvvas to me. My husband and I ordered the dumplings, pad thai, Yaki Soba and tempura. The whole feast was very lovely and enjoyed it a lot albeit it may have had a bit too much salt. This would not deter us from ordering again.

I ordered from here yesterday as i heard about them on youtube thanks to heyman review and i have got to say everything gets a heyman! It was utterly amazing everything was so fresh and lovely. A pleasure to order let alone sit inside will definitely order again great value for money and the service was great, a very high standard of food this place, I must admit the best takeaway i have ever had! Amazing guys keep the standards this way! 10/10

My wife and I travelled from Cardiff to try Wok Bruvvas and we thought the food was excellent. We had dynamite prawns and chicken which was filled with flavour and spice, whilst our mains (katsu chicken curry and the yakisoba) arrived in a timely manner and delivered in terms of quality! However, what makes Wok Bruvvas stand out is their EXCEPTIONAL customer service. From the moment we walked in they were attentive and accommodating.

Nasi Goreng with beef is unreal! Very friendly staff/owners. Definitely recommend this place! - (usually don't go out of my way to leave reviews)

Pad thai is amazing. Firecracker delicious! Korean prawn starter is also very tasty.

Ordered yaki soba, bao buns and thai red curry Yaki soba (traditional stir fried chow mein noodles) with added duck was alright tastewise. Red thai curry with added chicken was okay aswell nothing special. The pulled beef bag buns were alittle disappointing for me. Pulled beef lacked flavour and was very bland, also the special house sauce was definitely not to my liking. Put it this way, had much better similar food Like I always say everyones taste buds differ and opinions are different and this is my opinion...
