We have ordered from Wok 2 Go several times. The food is always lovely. Arrives quickly and is hot and Very tasty. Would highly recommend!

Been going for 8+ years and loved food. Recently orders missing key ingredients such as veg or sauce so mainly ordered online so no misunderstanding. 5th time happened in last 3 months I'd ordered Tofu & Broccoli with salt & pepper. It was a swap from oyster to salt pepper which done for me for many years & is cheaperfor them. The box consisted of half normal size tofu, no Broccoli, no salt pepper & 3 tiny pieces of onion. On return lad apologised and said he'd sort it, then woman same over and said if I wanted salt pepper or Broccoli I'd needed to pay more. Queried low portion of Broccoli and she just stared at me. Refused and asked for refund as tored of just letting mistakes ride - still not arrived and no response to emails. Sadly won't be returning any time soon. You can only put up with so much and the food isn't cheap so you expect what you order.

Burned noodles the first time we had a take out, second time I checked before leaving and guess what?? Yep they were burned so they made more !! Now asked for chicken fried rice and chips!! They were so dry!! Very little sauce, chicken seemed to be bought from the coop and thrown into dry rice. Never again!!

Ordered CRISPY duck fried rice, we it arrive the duck was under cooked and full of fat, rice was tasteless too, the it was inedible. also ordered rice noodles with chicken and beef, box full of noodles with salty sauce on it, not the chilli and garlic sauce i asked for and to top that of it had 5 little pieces of chicken in it and the beef was chewy and fatty. paid almost 4 pounds for chips and the came rock solid and stale. couldnt eat any of it. we ended up calling the takeaway and got no answer, i then set an email to them and still had no acknowledgment from them for the return of food and a refund. i have nothing positive to say really about the quality of food from this place and we wont be returning. the food was so undercooked stale and poor quality we are considering reporting them. ive never seen anything like it.

Not up to usual standard at all. I first forgot to add an item to my order, which they said would mean and additional £3.50 delivery cost, so I said no thanks. When the order arrived, I asked for jasmine rice, but received egg fried rice, I called to tell them, to be told that, that is is jasmine rice, it’s fried with egg, but I asked for jasmine rice which is usually steamed, and not with egg. I could hear some one, maybe a chef shouting in the background that is what it is, but I have never had jasmine rice disguised as egg fried rice before. They would not do anything about it, no offer to switch the order, they would not accept the mistake, I was just shouted at. It’s a good job I didn’t have an egg allergy. The meal was not enjoyable at all, one because I don’t like fried rice and two due to be spoken to horribly. I will go elsewhere next time

Overpriced but heard good things so decided to try something new. Arrived on time. Prawn toast cold on arrival, soups over salted, spoke to manager to complain. Said wanted refund. Manager said they would have to collect the food in order to issue refund. I said that’s not convenient as we are going out shortly. He said well he’d be out of business if he did refunds like that. Offered no other compensation wouldn’t use again

***Don’t bother if you have a food allergy**** Called for advice regarding ingredients in a dish to confirm due to food allergy. The menu clearly stated to contact staff regarding food allergies, which I did. I was told over the phone that they could not give this information out. Legally they have to provide information relating to food allergies. Clearly staff are not trained and management do not care. Clearly never heard of Natasha’s law

Had a take away delivery, arrived promptly and was hot. Price was fine. Normally use a local chinese but thought we'd give it a try. It was really awful, had three different dishes and they were all seriously bland. Definitely the worst chineses food we've ever eaten. Won't be using them again, will use a Chinese that actually cares about the food they cook for their customers. Possibly a problem with a fast food chain where the owner isn't hands on. I have cooked better, more flavorsome chinese food at home.

I've three or four take-aways from Wok2go; every time I go, I'm left unimpressed and I tell myself that it's the last time. Final straw for me, which has prompted me to write a review, is the last visit a few weeks ago. I had ordered over £50 of food. Was kept waiting a while and I asked if I could get some prawn crackers to nibble on whilst waiting. Yes, of course was the answer, for £2.20. If I hadn't already paid, I would have walked out right there and then. Ridiculous to think they can charge that to customers who are spending signficant sums of money, it's just greed. There are other places to go which serve better food, for less money with better customer care. Kellys 200m away, Choy Hing Village if you're prepared to drive a bit further to Grappenhall.

The chicken wings where greasy stale batter and bland.. .ribs where tough Prawn toast was greasy n soggy too The satay skewers had brown chicken that looked disgusting and I was put off from eating them or any thing else I used to really rate this place £40 wasted on disgusting food

Took our order and gave a delivery time of 7.30pm. No food by 8pm so rang up and was told they were running late and it was now cooking. No food by 9pm, so rang again and was told it was "in the cooking process". Didn't believe them (obviously) but played along anyway. No food was delivered. Liars who never had any intention of delivering our order, should have just be honest from the start and we'd have ordered from elsewhere!

Absolutely disgusted that on New Years Eve they take your order and give you a delivery slot off 20:30 to 21:00 which I was happy to accept despite a two hour wait. Now 22:00 and no sign of my food which I paid for at the point of order. Tried calling the number is either constantly engaged or when it did ring it was left to ring out. Three emails sent requesting an update but still no response. Certainly be the last time I use Wok2Go I’ll stick with local Chinese restaurants who value their customers.

We used to love Wok2Go. We used to have a take out from them religiously. Don’t know if they’ve changed ownership, but I think the customer service now is very poor and the food delivered tonight was, in our opinion, BAD. Ordered the food at 730pm, rang to chase it up after an hour and got the “it’s on its way” blarney. It eventually turned up at 930pm. Duck dish was fatty and most of the duck meat was covered in the fatty skin, and the “plum” sauce was very watery. I couldn’t eat it and the dog turned up it’s nose up at it when I chucked it in her bowl. The chicken and satay sauce, I regret to say, was spat out. What happened guys? A real shame.

We ordered at 7:30pm and received our order at 9:30pm, after being told it was en route an hour ago! (We live less than a mile from the place!) The duck in plum sauce was basically fat in butter sauce, and the kids chicken box was cold with semi raw rice. When we called to air our grievances we were told they are ‘busy’! Aren’t we all?? We wouldn’t order takeout food if we had the time to cook!!

Ordered for 4 people, when I called up with the order the young girl sounded like she wasnt sure of the order. We ran through it again and it sounded correct. delivery was late and when it came it was missing a meal, for the person whose birthday we were celebrating. Rang back and was told firstly the order was right, then that they had made a mistake with how they put the order through. Finally agreed to send a second meal. Then another call back to say they hadn't charged us for the meal and we would need to pay for it. They said although it was entirely their fault, they still needed us to pay. I've no proof if we paid the first time, so to make sure the birthday guest actually ate, I had to pay again. We spent over £50 the first time... Food was good but over shadowed by poor customer service and management. Wouldn't use again.

I often get a take away from Stockton Heath Wok 2 Go and the quality is exceptional. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is friendly and professional. Shocked to see some of the reviews on here as my experience has always been positive.

Absolutely shocking experience with Warrington branch, waited 1.5 hours. Call them 4 times, finally get an answer, they can see my order but ‘it’s not come through to the store’. They can’t possibly use the money we’ve already given them, instead they want us to pay an extra £35 and they’ll refund us the first money in a few days. No manager available to speak to, no solution offered. Useless!

I ordered meals for myself and family on a Fri evening, really looking forward to a tasty treat. What we received was so poor in terms of taste and flavour I was incensed by the low standard of food that this place is prepared to sell.I ate my meal but more because I needed to eat than for the experience, my wife discarded her meal as it had no discernible taste whatsoever, mine had a background flavour like dirty dishwater.The marketing and set up for this takeaway represents something that they don't even get close to producing in reality and it is not cheap food.Reading the reviews prior to this, it is clear that there is a common issue with many customers who have had similar experiences.This is a very local business in terms of customers and I can only assume that unless they improve the standard of their food they will not survive.

We had a set meal for 2 last night delivered to our house and it was superb. The food arrived about 30 minutes from order ( to be fair we only live 5 minutes away from them ), it was very hot and the order was complete. As we are in self isolation it was helpful to be able to pay on order rather than face to face at the door.

Soup watery and tasteless - over 4 pounds each for a box of THREE tiny spring rolls / prawn toast. Better off looking at pictures of chinese food online and throwing 50 quid out the window. What a nice local business....not!! Ordered over £40 worth of food to discover bones in the meat which nearly broke my teeth. Rang to complain and was told I needed to bring the dish back in and enough was left they would refund me for that dish. Really? How ridiculous. Manager is extremely rude and quite frankly doesn't deserve a business. Also feel sorry for the staff as it appears manager treats them as badly as she does her customers. Also ridiculously overpriced, you don't get free prawn crackers and you have to pay extra for delivery regardless of order total. Would give 0 stars if I could. Give your money to somewhere that deserves it.

It’s crazy how low this place has stopped. I walked in this week and paid £4.80 for a plastic container of seaweed that I watched them microwave from a packet. This WAS the only place I’d go to for a take out. It WAS the best place around. It’s a joke now. Don’t waste your money.

I ordered 2 meals, a Pad Thai and a chicken noodle box. The Pad Thai was dry and didn't even have any peanuts in it. The noodle box had barely anything else in it other than noodles - I know its called a 'noodle box' but I could've just boiled my own noodles, a lot cheaper.

Because of our postcode I had to phone in order. Young lady was very helpful. Delivery was set for 7.00pm. At 5 to seven she phoned and said delivery would be 10 past 7, Arrived as stated. Crispy chilli beef, rice and noodles were first class.!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say I’m surprised at some of the poor reviews on here about food quality. My family of 4 ordered a takeaway last week and it was delicious. The chicken in the Thai green and red curry was perfectly cooked as was the sweet and sour chicken, the noodles were also absolutely lovely, I will definitely use them again. Just wanted to redress the balance, based on my positive experience.

Spent £50 on dinner which basically went in the bin! We have used wok2go a few times and it's been hitnmiss to be fair. It's expensive and tonights food was so so poor. It was sloppy tasteless, chicken was hard and it was lukewarm. We waited over and hour for delivery so when it arrived we were pretty hungry!! We started digging in then realised it was pretty grim!!! I called them but the manager didn't bother to speak to me just told the girl to tell me there's nothing they can do as we had started eating it!! Really! I told her to look at how often we used them but this made no difference. I told her this would be the last time we would use this place yet we didn't even get a call back!!! I'm all for supporting local businesses but not if they offer a poor service!!! My tip?? Go elsewhere for fresher better food at half the price.

Had bad experience here some time ago but have heard better feedback so tried it again. Had sweet and sour pork with boiled rice and a chicken Chinese curry with fried rice and although it’s more expensive than the average take away it was good food and reasonable portions. Definitely improved.

Always been a huge fan of wok 2 go love the food. This evening they have really let us down. We ordered the food 90mins before hand and selected a time slot so that we could put the children to bed to enjoy the meal. They have now surpassed our time slot by 30mins and we are still waiting! We won’t be ordering from them anytime soon!!

Have to say that if I had read the reviews beforehand I would not have gone, but I'm glad that I didn't. The food is actually really good and there is a really good choice. I wasn't disappointed with the food and I do like the open kitchen. The staff are very smiley and friendly, no issues and no quibbles. It was busy on the Saturday, there were loads of people there, but the person at the counter let me know about a possible wait, so I didn't mind at all. Overall very happy with my singapore vermicelli, thai green curry and fried rice. My husband loved is ribs too!

So I have ordered a few times from Wok2Go without any issues, I’ve always had the food delivered on time etc. However, over a week ago I placed an order online (as I usually would) paying by PayPal... 10 minutes later I received a call from them saying they don’t deliver to my area and would make a full refund which would take 48 hrs to process. Yes I was a bit miffed but c’est la vie and said ok. It is now 8 days later, I’ve checked and triple checked and no refund, I’ve rang them 3 times and keep being told the manager has to do the refund and will contact me within 48 hours, we’ll the 48 hours has passed and no call or refund. I will have to drive the 7 miles (each way) over to Stockton Heath to try and get my money back!!!

Down visiting the kids and grandson, our daughter in law got us all a takeaway from here today 11/05/2018 I had sweet sour chicken and chips , the sweet sour sauce was just ok the chicken lovely , the chips awful if you can't cook chips just don't sell them these were awful , my wife had chicken curry with peas and peppers it was far to spicy not in a gd way just to much spice as if they had accidentally put to much chilles in it it was awful , fried rice was lovely , what my daughter in law and son had they enjoyed but not sure wot it was

If I’d have read the reviews before I ordered I probably wouldn’t have bothered. Have to say we didn’t encounter any issues. The girl who answered the phone was pleasant & helpful. We asked for our order as soon as possible & was told 15 minutes. Low & behold we arrived to pick it up & it was actually ready to go. We ordered the pork buns & duck spring rolls to share. The pork buns were delightful & the duck spring rolls tasty, although a little on the small side. Our main meals, roast duck fried rice & salt & pepper chicken. The roast duck was a big portion & tasty. The salt & pepper chicken was also a big portion. Lots of chicken & lightly battered. My only negative would be that the food could have been hotter. We only live about 5 minutes away by car & we had to reheat all the food to eat it. Going off today’s experience, I’d say we’d order from here again.

I have eaten from Wok 2 Go a lot over the last few years. However, recently everything has gone downhill. I ordered a takeaway at 6pm, the earliest delivery available was 7:10pm so I opted for that. At 7:30pm I rang to see where my food was. I was told it was on its way. At 7:40pm it finally arrived. Everything was cold and my sons mini wok chicken was inedible. I rang to complain and was told the manager would ring me. An hour passed and no one rang so I threw the whole dinner in the bin. I now had 2 hungry children who should be going to bed who I had to then start cooking for. Eventually at 10pm, after I chased him up, the manager rang me. He wanted me to return all the food before I could have a refund. I explained it was now 10pm and it was in the bin. He offered to come round and collect my bin bag, which I told him was beyond ridiculous. He argued the toss for a while. When I questioned him about what time my food had left the shop he said 7pm. To which I asked why did it take 40 mins to reach me and of course it was cold. He did back down and say I could have a refund. However, 3 weeks on I have not received a refund. DO NOT waste your time ordering from here and don't expect any customer service or warm food if you do.

Very friendly and fast delivery I really enjoyed the food and will be recommending this place to all friends and family. My kids loved there children's boxes it was not too pricey either thank you will be visiting again

The food was gorgeous (especially the salt and pepper wings) and the chow mein was the best I'd had in a long time. Food delivered hot & in less than 50 mins. Ordered take away went back 20min later to a sealed bag once home it was wrong order. They don't know their own menu. Extremely rude on the phone demanding 30p extra and £2 delivery charge for right food !!! Also wanted food back and this after we had touched it ! Horrible thought that they are reusing it but why else do they want it ? I won't feel comfortable eating from there again . I won't be buying from there again !

Hadn't had food from here for a while but I'd always thought it was good in the past. Saturday night's was dreadful though. The food was tasteless, the chicken was really tough, our chips were missing and the attitude of the member of staff I spoke to when I rang to complain was appalling.Don't waste your money - go to the Stockton Fryer!!!

Had about five Wok2go deliveries now and they continue to deliver on all accounts! We must have tried all the Chinese takeaways in the area and Wok2go sits clearly at the top. Not the cheapest out there but for the quality of food, in my view it's well worth the money. Food always tastes fresh and well cooked. Had the Korean wings tonight and the Thai Red Curry, which they get spot on every time. Wife had the Sea bass (not for me but she loved!!) Will be re-ordering soon. Keep it up Wok2go team...

I ordered a takeaway from this place for myself and my wife. The starter, "Salt & Pepper Squid" was stale, and the main course, "Sweet & Sour Chicken" was very sour, to the point where it tasted like vinegar had been poured over it.I telephoned Wok2Go and explained my concerns to the manager. She asked If I would drop the food off for the Chef to check, and then she would provide me with a refund.I explained to her that I had ordered a takeaway because I was going out for the evening, and I didn't have time to drop the food off.She informed me that "Company Policy" states that they are not allowed to offer refunds unless the food is returned for the Chef to examine first.I asked if the delivery driver could collect the food, but apparently they were to busy?A really poor quality takeaway in all aspects of Business.There is plenty of choice for food in Stockton Heath, that provide far better quality and service.

i usually order by phone and pick up rather than have home delivery. The staff are always efficient and pleasant and the food is not gluppy like other similar take aways.We have never had a bad meal and use this venue quite often when we have friends around for a quick and tasty meal at very reasonable prices . The menu is varied and you can select your particular preferences and meal options with ease.

It's a bit hit and miss. The food can be excellent one day, and average the next. There's also been occasions when I've been kept waiting for my order to arrive. I've found you have to you to be proactive and phone them to enquire where your order is. Otherwise you're left waiting. There's a lot of good options in the WA4 area, and I would of thought that seeing as it's one of the more expensive home delivery restaurants in the area they would pay greater attention to customer services and recognise they need to contact customers when there's a delay.

We collected our order this evening after work and found the staff were helpful in selecting dishes that were to our taste. I hadn't had one of their noodle boxes before but after tonight would definitely have one again! They have a large variety which makes it easy to cater to different tastes, which helped me and my friends very much! Overall, great experience.

Absolutely pathetic service. Ordered numerous times previously with no issue. Tuesday evening, however, was nothing short of shambolic. Order placed at 7pm, assured the food will be there within 45 minutes to 60 minutes. No food for 90 minutes and it turned up cold, so I called to complain. Staff claimed initially she was the only one there (Lie one: you can't run a takeaway single handed) then she refused to process a refund and there was no one in the place to authorise it. I then told her to find someone to make the refund, and instead she decided to step away from the phone and chat to her colleague about the phone call and what I'm asking for and imitating my voice in a mocking way, clearly oblivious to the fact I can hear every word. This was challenged when she came back to the phone advising no-one could process it again (Not that she tried, she was too busy complaining about a call that she wouldn't be having to take if they'd done their jobs properly). I requested that she find someone and call back. It won't happen. I strongly recommend China China in Warrington.

So reading all the bad reviews I wanted to get mine in as I always use Wok2Go and find their food great. Last night they even turned up 30 mins before I expected it - a welcome surpriseWhat I like about Wok2Go is the food tastes and looks fresh and they dont use MSG, which give me palpitations. Every restaurant/takeaway gets something wrong every now and again, and some of the reviews below seem very quick to give 1 star for a simple issue. Not a bad takeaway at all!

This is a franchised take out service. No disasters on any of the three occasions we have ordered so it cant be that bad! There is no real competition for Wok2Go in Stockton Heath (the Chinese restaurant does do take outs and seemed quite busy when we went but I don't think that's a direct competitor). We collected once and had food delivered twice. The delivered food needed to be hotter but came in reasonable time.All of the food was OK but I felt that the food could be better - sharper flavours, less gloopy and better seasoned. Be bold with spices and accentuate the raw ingredients e.g. chicken cashew nut should have larger crunchier nuts.Overall then, somewhere between OK and good but still frustrating that, with a little more thought and care it could be so much better!

We used wok2go for the first time a couple of days ago and I only ordered two meals and after paying £21.00 I couldn't believe they managed to get one wrong I ordered the special satay and peking sweet & sour at £6.80 each not including chips or rice and what I got was sweet & sour with what looked like e very mild thai curry. Its the dearest I have payed for just two meals and could not eat one of them.

Awful customer service! Ordered for delivery. Food arrived and there was that much packed into my container that the lid wasn't put on properly, sauce was everywhere inside the bag and on everything else that I'd ordered. Though that I'd just have to do without any sauce, poured the seasonal vegetables and cashew nuts on my plate and it was full of cabbage, about 5 cashew nuts, and a few pieces of carrot. This particular item was about £7.60 and actually dearer than a lot of the meals with meat in them! Rung up very politely to complain, got told that I could either have a new meal delivered (my partner had pretty much finished his meal) or I could have a refund. I said I wanted a refund. Apparently to get this I had to take my meal back to prove it! I immediately drove down because I was so annoyed. I got told that what was in my container was seasonal veg (full of cabbage) and the container was even lifted up to show me that there was a cashew nut in there. Are you kidding me???? I've just had to drive down here because of your shoddy service, I've had to march through Stockton Heath with a container of cabbage and now you want to stand here and argue about cashew nuts? I told them what I thought, got my refund and then leftIn conclusion, do yourself a favour and don't bother. You'll be very much out of pocket and probably end up with a container full of very bland and soggy veg!

This restaurant could not confirm dishes were gluten free for my husband. I don't think they understood what he meant. Cant risk it as he is a coeliac but the rest of the family had a takeaway which was ready 20 minutes after they said it could be collected. No apology or discount was offered so I can only assume this is a regular occourence

ordered two meals, which were ridiculously over priced anyway, and added specific ingredients online. Food arrived after 1 hour. Order was completely wrong... Both meals had mixed vegetables, which we did not request, meat options were in the wrong sauce and both meals had beansprouts, despite only requesting them in one meal. Phoned up to complain and confirmed our order with the girl on the phone... Clearly specifying no mixed veg!!! Driver arrived to swap meals, and opened them to find wrong orders AGAIN. Both meals had vegetables. Rang to complain and the lady initially said there was nothing she could do, as the first girl we spoke to had gone home. After trying to explain that both times we requested no vegetables she finally told us that they come as part of the sauce?! Requested a refund but apparently there was no one in store to authorise this. Driver returned to collect our wrong order, and 2 hours later we've still not ate. Avoid!!!

This was a phone order for home delivery. Delivery was 20 minutes earlier than given which did not present too much of a problem only you tend to expect delays so relax with your visitors and attachk the meal when it arrives. In our case we had to l;oad everything into the oven, always a little dicky when meals are in plastic containers. This also prevents you from using warmers without having to decant the contents into metal containers. Overall the servings were of good size, the soup was very tasty and the prawn crackers were plentiful. We shared each dish but there was not the usual extatic recations to taste. With no MSG, the dishes looked and in some cases teasted bland. Reasonable value for money considering there is a £2 delivery charge.

The prices suggested something special, unfortunately it was really bad.It's the worst Chinese takeaway I've had. They gave me someone else's order and rather than send someone out to correct their mistake I had to go back and collect the correct order myself. After the poor start it got worse, the meals were either bland and tasteless or over spiced to cover the poor food. Example - Salt and pepper chips are just cheap oven chips with spice thrown on them. If it was cheap I wouldn't complain but its the most expensive Chinese takeaway I've ever had hence the need for a review.

Wok2Go has a fairly typical Chinese menu with lots to choose from. However they also do Noodle Boxes - choose the type of noodles or rice you want, then the sauce, then the meat, fish or vegetables and they will serve it too you in an American style box. Don't be fooled, the food is jammed into that box and there is more than enough for an average appetite!And as Wok2Go state they don't use MSG or other flavour enhancers etc you can be sure it's as good as it can be!

We used to order food for delivery which would arrive within 40 mins and tasted fresh and flavoursome....Not sure what has happened recently as the delivery time is 2 hours and the food quality has dropped. We decided to call and pick up our food order as didn't want to wait around 2hours, it could have been longer, we were told they were busy and could not guarantee that the food would arrive within 2 hours! I have to say that we all had a rough night following the food, no alcohol involved so nothing else to blame our endless trips to the toilet. This was a family of four that all ate the same food and has been put off ever returning!
