Great food, waited about 10/15mins for food which was delicious. First time eating here and will definitely be a returning customer 😀

The people of Witchford clearly don’t know what a good Chinese takeaway is going by these reviews. It’s average at best. Don’t order anything with chicken as it’ll have a distinctly rubbery and wet texture - I assume they boil it before a quick fry in the sauce or rice you ordered with it, but they do it for too short a period of time so it is distinctly off putting. Prices are average for a takeaway. Portions are standard. I was a bit disappointed by the service size of the egg/boiled rice being smaller than the rices with other things in them. Service is average - you can order on the phone and someone who speaks good English takes the order. The waiting experience in the takeaway is a little sad. You can park on the street outside or in some parking spaces to the side. It’s also accessible by a wheelchair friendly ramp. Minimum card payment is £15. I always dislike this and how prawn crackers are basically a bribe to a voice card transaction fees or to reward larger orders.

Unfortunately our sweet and sour chicken oriental style and boiled rice was tasteless and bland. The chicken chow mein wasn't much better. Very disappointing and a waste of money. Most of our dinner went in the bin.

Ordered from out of recommendations online expecting good things. Overall was a normal standard Chinese take away. Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken was really chewy and hard to eat, plus not that hot when arrived. Seaweed was lovely. On time delivery. A bit pricey, and could not find up to date menu online. Nice service from lady on phone and delivery man.

On time delivery. Food excellent - good size portions. Tried won ton soup for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Will definitely be ordering again. 5🌟

Very tasteless, chicken rice noodles basically just boiled chicken with no flavour at all. Will definitely be staying with our usual Chinese. Late delivery, not impressed!

Very disappointed. Chilli chicken was very chewy, most of it went in the bin. Spare ribs were 50% fat and I never throw duck away, it’s my favourite but that was also chewy. £35+ worth of food and still hungry.

like the food... delivererd hot but delivery driver ruined our new lawn n got stuck badly n was rude... caused over 200pounds damage to the lawn.. am yet to fix it... not happy

Best Chinese takeaway in the area. We've been ordering from them for the past 2 years and they are great. They deliver to our area (thankfully) and they are very friendly and professional. Great food!

It's really lovely but I only have the chicken and cashew nuts and egg rice to know that's always really lovely. The crispy beef is also good and in the past they did a satay and Brocoli chicken thing on the fly so if they still take small requests then yeah wonderful and 5 star for sure. The mixed box is great and the chips can be really good. The chicken balls were good years back, don't know now, I guess so though. Thank you.

Witchford takeaway have a good range of great food. I particularly recommend their satay chicken, king prawns with cashew nuts, the house special rice and the beef with green pepper in black bean sauce. Lovely service too

Tried witchford takeaway twice. On the basis of previous recommendations on Facebook. Both times disappointed with quality and taste.

Always have chinese on Christmas eve. New to witchford we used our new local food was lovely. Cooked while we waited. Was very welcome after being cold and wet visiting a local light trail. Will definitely be visiting again.

Food is ok for a take away, friendly staff and fast service

Food was bland and the same day my stomach started to feel funny. The night was horrible and the next day I cannot off the toilet. Sure it might be a coincidence but I barely ever get colds or get ill so it feels like the food certainly did not agree with me. I am going back to Ely next time.

AVOID! rude! Terrible phone manners argued that I got my order wrong when in fact she wrote it down wrong shouted at me. The food was awful raw chips and stone cold curry! Don't waste your money! Disappointed is an understatement.

This is one of the best in the area. Food always arrive warm tasty and not overly salty like alot of take aways..

Meals have always been good from here but Saturdays was bloody awful, the chicken was a soft almost jelly like substance, the rice was brown and totally overcooked, the second portion of chicken was chewy and burnt and the whole meal was bland absolute rubbish. I've been advised new ownership ?? I hope this is just a bad one off....

Friendly service. Ready on time. A bit too many onions in some meals but the taste is very good. Good selection. We're lucky that they are just outside the delivery area as we would order their food too often if we were closer to them. Try them out. You'll be pleased with your meal.

This is my BFF's go to takeaway and he rates it highly. Appears reasonably priced overall with decent quality food. I ordered a mushroom omelette with chips and peas for under a fiver - delicious and enough foodnsible Sefor two days! Friendly and helpful when collecting - they do deliver but only with a £15 minimum order which is fair enough. Sensible COVID restrictions are in place.

Food came promptly, spare ribs were over Cooked! Tough and stringy, prawn chow mien, awful! Prawns were hard crumbly and dry, didn't bother to open the special house rice! When I rang back to complain, I was put through to two different people, they couldn't understand a word I said, kept asking me to repeat, and when eventually she got it! She just told me I could have a free spare ribs next time! That's not going to happen!

Always had prompt service and great food. We ask for some "Spicy" meals non-spicy which is done without issue. Very reasonable prices too.

Unfortunately this was not a great experience for us. The chicken doesn't taste like chicken so therefore we ended up removing this from our food. we also ordered in the takeaway and when we got home the order was wrong. We will not be eating from this place again.

I love this Chinese so much food is fantastic, portions are man size! And the staff are fantastic they go out of their way to deliver great service and nothing is to much bother. And the gentleman that answers the phone is the BEST! And once again the service and the food is exceptional was told an hour but the food was here in less and red hot will not go to any other Chinese

Just found 4 hairs in our food. When I rang to complain she offered me £10 back off a £40 order. Then offered a full refund but she wouldn't sell me food anymore.

Cannot fault this Chinese take away, the guy on the desk has a wicked memory and sense of humour, makes the short wait for your order fly by!! They also deliver to quite a large area, and always hot on arrival, I really can't fault them.

Witchford's only food outlet (even the pub doesn't do lunch). Open for lunchtime.

I love the food at this place. However we have just ordered, we're told it would be an hour for delivery and it ended up taking TWO HOURS! When we asked for a discount we were very rudely told no. They would not even take the delivery charge off. Food arrived cold.

Very good customer service, however when it comes to the food, there was a small Chihuahua in my Puka Pie, not impressed to say the least!
