Jasmine in East Cambridgeshire

Feel very lucky that our local takeaway is this fabulous. Lovely, friendly staff, great portion sizes, food is freshly cooked and always delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for good Chinese food.

Haven't had a Chinese takeaway since moving to the area and I'm afraid this one was unedible ,slimey beef in my chow mein 😕 made me feel sick ,even my dog wasn't interested!!!

Never had an issue before but tonights meal was awful. Chicken curry, the chicken was pink and full of fat and the beef curry was awful, chewy pink meat. Called to complain and all I got was they use top quality products and never had a complaint in 20 years apparently! Won't be going back as all they do is argue when you ask for a refund!

We just moved to Bottisham and we're pleased to see Jasmine so close by for a Chinese takeaway on our first night. They took out order over the phone, accommodating everything we asked for without a menu in front of us. The food was prepared quickly and enjoyed by all. We ordered for 7 and everyone loved it. So glad to have Jasmine on our doorstep.

Ordered take away for 33 people with very little notice and on Mother’s Day. Food was amazing, well timed and delivered faultlessly. Excellent service and enjoyed by all. Thank you Jasmine.

One of three takeaways that are next to each other in Bottisham. Jasmine is very much your standard Chinese takeaway, but I've always found their food to be of a good standard and for a quick local fix it's perfectly adequate.

I hesitate to leave two star reviews, my usual philosophy is "if it's cheap and edible then you get what you pay for". But... I'm really sorry to the proprietors, but this was _truly awful_. I didn't know you could cook chicken and still make it slimy. The rice was also so over-cooked it was almost mush. I ordered the set meal for one. Spring rolls were... uninspiring but passable, but as I've said you get what you pay for, hence the two stars. But it legitimately took me a few minutes to convince myself that what was in the curry was chicken, and it seemed like the rice had been boiled for about half an hour longer than it really should have. I'm going to charitably say they must have been having an off day, because I can't understand how they've gotten five star reviews and yet can still serve food like that. Regardless, I won't be going back. I wish them the best of luck in the future. I do not recommend the set meal for one.

The owner is nice, the food is good and is made quickly. If you're ever in Bottisham and looking for a nice takeaway with a good chippy, this is the spot.

I've ordered from Jasmine multiple times over last few years and only once was I unhappy. Perhaps chef was unwell as my usual dish didn't taste at all the same. Everything is always great. Always organised, always punctual with my order. They do a Fab green Thai beef curry packed with veg. I would definitely recommend!

The food I have had has always been tasty and having a five star hygiene rating backs this up, the staff are polite and food always ready on time.

Food was really delicious, generously portioned and not greasy/oily at all. Really enjoyed the meal.

Ordered fish & Chips to share, fish was fine no problem curry sauce and peas were fine. Chips were re-cooked, this is the second time I have received re-cooked stale dry chips. It ruined the meal, contacted jasmine. Jasmine owner had said it was because the potato’s were old, which was rubbish you could tell! When questioned why she was selling apparent old potato’s, she said it’s because the new ones are growing in the field. So what you only by potato’s every couple of months? Never herd so much rubbish, never had this problem elsewhere before. I feel she is covering up what she did, she did refund me for the chips. I only went back for the refund because of the fact she was trying to tell me lies, shouldn’t be served in that state. Chinese isn’t bad in there and beware a large cod is not actually large.

Quick and tasty, normally get something weekly. Yum

Only had chicken fried rice from there but pretty good. Chippy next door takes ages..zzzz

We eat a lot of Chinese food and this is the best we have experienced in a long while. I highly recommend it. Great service, polite staff and amazing food.
