Brilliant pub to get some beers from

Sylvia is a gem. It's rare you find a locals pub that is run for locals and yet still welcoming to visitors. The beer is looked after and presented perfectly with attention paid from keg to glass. It's now my local away from home.

Really warm welcoming and the bar staff are really fast. And the drinks are price at a resnoble price. Will come back for a drink agine. And The Beers and ciders are fresh and cold. And the fountain inn is nice and clean. And the young ish girl behinde the bar who served me was very nice and pasient with me. You need to give her a pay rise. To the fountan inn owner please read.

First time here with some friends and family. Lovely little family owned pub. Had the pleasure meeting the Landord and landlady. Good prices on drinks, friendly staff. A real welcoming environment. Definitely be back hear in the future for a drink.

The Fountain has just re-opened after the previous owners moved away. I love it before and I love it now. The new Fountain looks amazing, inside and out. It's got a modern feel to the interior whilst still keeping the traditional feeling of a pub. Really happy that it's still dog friendly. Prices are great and the service was friendly. Look forward to more pints 🍻

I rate this a four for atmosphere only because of the large party we were in. This could of been a five however the pub was in full swing when we were told it was closing at 10.30. You would think in this cost of living slumb that a party of 24 big spenders the pub would stay open until the time specified.

Popped in for a few drinks ahead of our away game in Soham and left feeling like it was my local! Proper pub, great selection of drinks and the proper care and attention paid to their cask ales. Pubs like this are dying out due to rising costs and greedy landlords so if you're in Soham go give them a look.

Fantastically well organised pub quiz night on Tuesdays at 7.30pm. Brilliant rounds, questions and a chance for the winning team to get some or all of the jackpot if they can open the box. Brilliant.

Popped in for a cuppa and do some paperwork whilst waiting for my car to be repaired at a near by garage. The landlady was absolutely delightful, cheerful charming and very accomodating. every where was spotlessly clean. Highly reccommend.

I'm biased as my team won the quiz. To be fair it took months of doom bar. I mean months of trying. Great staff huge venue for such a small town.

Friendliest pub in town. I come here every few weeks to have a glass of wine, while I wait for my bus. On my second visit they remembered my drink and greeted me like an old friend and it's been the same ever since. In total, over the year, I've only spent a tiny amount of time there, but I've been made to feel entirely welcome every time. Free jukebox and apparently lots of people with good taste in music; descent glass of white; lovely garden and tiny, adorable dogs. Also, the style choice in the small ladies toilet is almost worth the visit by itself. Great local, which deserves to be a destination pub.

The pub is not bad at all, and the ale is very quality, although the same ale every time. Dogs welcome and families.

Zoey and John are a great team that run The Fountain. My wife and I visited recently with a couple of friends and we were made to feel like we had been going there for years by the welcome we received. A great tip on local eating places was used to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was a great success. Thank you guys!

Lovely atmosphere, a bit of a special place, a little bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

The staff are alwsys friendly. A good oub to go to for a pre dinner drink.

Nothing really bad about this pub but neither is it anything to write home about. All the curtains were drawn so made it feel a bit smaller than it probably was but the staff were very friendly at least.

Great pub, nice people, friendly dogs, great choice of drinks , plenty of parking. Well worth a visit.

We had a fantastic time and had our wedding reception here using the conservatory, owners and staff are so helpful and friendly, lovely buffet spread, great value for money, would 100% recommend a visit, lovely garden area with beautiful flower decorations 😀

Great pub, great atmosphere. John and Zoe are lovely people. Spent a fantastic afternoon with them and were thoroughly looked after, they're both passionate and knowledgeable and great fun to boot! A real shame we're only tourists as would not hesitate to return. Thank you both, Jake and Faye.

Met the owners tonight who have pure passion for a quality pub, it takes many hours of hard work to run a quality pub, well done highly recommended

Perfectly lovely village pub. Busy side with geezers, and relaxed lounge side! Two well kept ales.

Nice small town pub. Had a pint of Adnams Ghost Ship. One of two pubs with a weightbridge. The other is in Woodbridge, Suffolk.

The manager was having a night off, but she's sweet and the staff coped admirably. X

best local pint of Ghostship :-) worth the visit for the fresh beer alone.

Good local pub, I visited Soham for a day and had good service, decent choice of beers and lager etc.

Very friendly staff and owners the whole place makes you feel welcome. The fountain is the best pub I Soham go in for a drink And find out. ,,,,,,,,, It's the only out pub I go to.

Staff are really friendly and it is quite cozy and comfortable in the lounge.
