Wingshop Thame in South Oxfordshire

The only pizza place in Thame apart from Prezzo that makes lovely hot pizzas, I go here a lot when I've got nothing in my fridge need something to help my hunger. The staff are great the pizzas take around 15 minutes so you don't wait that long. And once you get your pizza it's hot and stays hot, prices vary on what you get, but personally I'd say all the food is great value.

Ordered and received my order within 25 minutes, very fast service. Delivery driver was also very polite.

Worst Domino’s I’ve ever had, no taste what so ever barely any toppings.First and last time.

Worst experience. I ordered from them today and they said it would be an hours wait. I spent £40 and they said they tried to deliver but no one was there. When I called them to say it has not been delivered they said they knocked but no one answered. And then said they will make it again and deliver in another hour. This time it was 9pm! I asked for a refund and they said it will need to be raised with head office. This place is a joke.

Chicken kickers are legendary from this place! I just wish domino’s was a bit cheaper

The pizza was AWFUL, paper thin hardly any cheese and to be honest and it didn’t really taste of anything. BEWARE they are COST cutting and it REALLY SHOWED. I wish I’d gone to M & S and had a PROPER PIZZA!

Sadly 1 Pizza 3 chips and chicken were ready but the other took another Pizza took 10 more minutes. This was all ordered together. So most of it was cold The chips and chicken were horrible as well as being cold the chips were still frozen in the middle and the chicken was under cook and cold. So out of 2 pizza's 3 side's and 14 pieces of chicken we only had 1 pizza hot. Will never use again.

I’m 100% sure I’m just gonna get a copy and paste response to this but I need to say it. You guys forget the ice cream every time. Every. Single. Time. Your delivery drivers are lovely which is great but y’all owe us like 8 ice creams now. We’re also still waiting for a refund after you double charged my partner. But seriously. The ice cream. Why do you hate us?

Was made to wait until the supervisor came to take my order. Supervisor and delivery driver speaking in own language about customers who came in to order.

Absolutely disgusting management, As me and my son waited for our pizza to be cooked, we had to listen to a manager having a go at his staff about not coming in when sick! Apparently they want the staff to come in regardless of health and spread the germs. When I spoke to the managed about this he was a horrible bloke who clearly can't run a business let alone treat his staff right! I'd recommend anyone who works here to leave and not to be treated like dirty by the manager or owner, who ever I spoke to. Also I'm sure it's illegal to have a worker around food who is ill!

Poor quality food, 9 times out of 10 you will be unhappy and may even discard the food upon coming face to face with it. All toppings and sides are of low quality.

Our pizza was very late and cold when it arrived…..tracker said out for delivery for 45+mins and at least an hour after baking even though was told delivery within 25 mins. Assistant at Domino’s was very rude when I rang to ask when I could expect delivery…..☹️

An absolute lifesaver as we were too late for our restaurant table (concert overran). Great service from the staff who made sure we got the best deal. Can't beat Italian food when you're looking for a vegetarian option (mine was a New Yorker).

DISGUSTED!!!! 0 STARS!!!! Ordered this afternoon for my kids as a treat. My son is allergic to bbq sauce. We order from here a few times and always order the same thing. There was obviously a glitch in the app as I have to customise my pizzas for the kids needs. When I ordered my confirmation was different to what I had selected. I immediately rang up to change this and I was told the pizzas are already in the oven and they refused to change. Due to my sons allergies I specifically said I cannot have bbq sauce on the pizza but 1 man said ‘it’s tough mam, that’s what you ordered!’ After telling him about my sons allergy he said ok well I can give bbq dip? This is jig what I asked for. My son has a meteor with tomato sauce base. I obviously edited this as I always do but it arrived anyway and so 1 of my kids has missed out with having no money to buy a second pizza! Disgusted with a female member of staff also as she got rude on the phone and called my partner a ‘silly little man’. We are loyal customers! Never had this sort of customer service from restaurant before!!

In my experience, never deliver when they are 'busy' and when sporting events are on, pointless!

Zero Stars should be an option for this branch! Ordered for delivery, 1 hour 35 mins ago and our pizza has still not arrived, when calling to chase, I am told the pizza has been on the shelf for 45 mins as they have no delivery drivers 'you can come and collect it' was the response from the staff member. This branch must be in prime position for the worst Dominos in the entire UK. The franchise holder clearly has no interest in this branch, given that the same issues are listed here on google time and again. It is not difficult to run a business such as this, I would suggest training in customer service and order management be top of this list for this branch. 2 HOURS TO FINALLY RECEIVE THE PIZZA, ONE IS COLD AND ONE IS NOT AS ORDERED! I give no star's but you got one .Omg I THINK it's been the worst day ever are cooker broken so we thought let's get a dominos like we do every week most weekends over the year and they deliver without fail to the address . But tonight omg hi I'm at your address nope you not. Call him back give directions and still driving past us as we stand in are socks in the wet and I call him back to I can't find you . I said you just drove past me I got a little upset and he never come back. I then drove to Thame but I paid the £2.50 for delivery that never got here. Then I get there and it's so cold it's like it was not cooked in the first place. No apology and the whole team there was moody and the driver no where to be seen. I spend a lot of money here and have done for meny year's. What a total let down for the the company they represent and work FOR. Food was good however found peice of hair in the pizza.Went to pick it up and wanted to check if it was the correct order and the man said dont check it is all there.So i will have to say mediocre.

When this opened a few months back I was definitely looking forward to the idea of a wingshop place in thame. I was not expecting the food to be as good as it was and have repeatedly gone back for more. The value for money is fantastic and the staff in there are really friendly. I love coming here to eat and definitely can’t miss a wingshop Wednesday anymore! There isn’t anything on the menu I wouldn’t recommend unless you cannot take spice- in which case don’t order the Naga wings. I don’t have a picture to attach as I cannot control myself before eating 🤣 10/10 would recommend!

Ordered online at 7.37pm tonight, delivery time stated 21-34 minutes. At 8.20pm, dominoes app still showing "Prep" on pizza tracker. Rang 3 times with no answer! Drove to the branch with my phone still ringing to see a person on front counter staring into space whilst I was clearly showing him im calling. His excuse "we are busy". Order had not even been prepped yet. Management couldn't care less and this clearly echoed through the staff working here. Will not be ordering again from Thame Branch.

Ordered mine with extra lies and incompetence… Ordered from here a few times and the food was ok, the kids enjoy it so whatever. My main issue here was the service. On the 7th April 2022, I ordered via my account online. After promising the little darlings a pizza and film night, we were left waiting for over an hour. I called and spoke with a lady who told me that I had ordered for collection only. After explaining that I have the email confirmation, confirming I had ordered for delivery (and after being called a lier), the manager was put on the phone. The manager then contradicted her staff who said that it was ordered for delivery, however, they were not currently offering this service as they did not have any drivers……. At this point, an hour and a half after ordering and surrounded by very hungry unhappy children, I told the manager to cancel the order, refund my money and I would be closing my account. The manager confirmed that I would be refunded the £35 within two working days (remember, this is April 7th). Off to Burger King we went (at least I didn’t have to talk about Bruno I guess). The next day I find the pizza fairies had been in the night and dumped our order on the front porch. Not sure how they got there as dominos have no drivers, I had ordered for collection and whenq I returned from Burger King, they weren’t there (around 9:30pm). To this day (10th May 2022) Doninos has yet to refund the £35. It genuinely makes me smile to think that as a final display of intelligence, they refunded the wrong person….. If Monty python did pizzas…..

Really disappointed, staff were very rude and impatient. I was ordering my pizza and said that I wanted a double topping large. The person just kept shouting what to me, when I was expected to say the toppings. Not at all friendly and one of the worst Domino’s I’ve been to. The pizza itself barely had any toppings on it. It was very plain. The dominos in Aylesbury is much better. Poor service.

Rubbish don’t buy took more that 1hour and 30 mins to arrive

What a terrible experience. Ordered 2 pizzas over 2 1/2 hours ago. After an hour I called to chase up and was told (by an extremely rude woman) it would be with me in 7 minutes. An hour later they have not turned up and they aren't answering the phone. Avoid at all costs.

The pizza itself was fine, that’s the only positive. The negatives, well, where to start? The whole order took 2 hours to arrive. I paid £2 for delivery too! Not good enough. The tracking said that it was in prep for almost an hour. I checked the website and at 7 o'clock they closed orders, despite being open until 9 oclock. When my pizza finally showed up, the Spicy BBQ wings I ordered were poor, tasted nothing like barbecue and we’re dry. Very disappointed and won’t be ordering from here again.

Don't pre-order, there is no point. Delivery can be delayed up to 1.5 hours. Pick it up, or go somewhere else...

Currently still waiting for my pizza 1 hr and 45 mins after ordering. Spoke to store, staff trying, no drivers…… But this wait for a pizza is not ok…

Ordered pizzas on the app. Phoned up 1 hour later to see where it was at. Was told it wasn’t even started and would take another hour. Ended up cancelling the order.

I was staying locally for work and fancied a pizza for my evening meal. So popped in and the service was excellent. Ordered my food and it was ready to takeaway within 15 minutes. The food was lovely but I think I ordered a little to much.

Where to start? The pizzas are what you would expect from Domino’s, tasty and well made, however we only ever have hot pizzas when we collect. Ordering on line is a waste of time if you want hot food. On 3 separate occasions the infamous pizza tracker said that the food was being “quality checked”, this went on for over 1/2 an hour each time. When I called the store to ask if my pizza would still be hot when it arrived “yes it will sir, of course” was the reply. How they think they can keep a pizza hot and fresh for 1/2 an hour before it’s delivered is a joke, and it’s clear they can’t. My recommendation is collect and don’t bother with delivery it’s a waste of time and money.

I liked it. A robust pizza that achieved what it set out to be.

This branch stopped delivering to Long Crendon almost a month ago, despite it being a 10 minute round trip. Called to query this, only to be met by a garbled response by someone who spoke to me like I was a hindrance. No incentive to collect an order when the offers are the same/worse than delivery.

Service used to be good here, the staff have no manners on the phone. The app told me the pizza is its way 15 mins ago. When I rang someone answered the phone and spoke to me in a rude manner

Usually good, but today I pre-ordered at 11am for a 12:45 delivery. At 1:15pm I rang to ask where it was and was told they were busy and only had 1 driver - fair enough, but seems ordering early does not put you first in the queue, had to wait for 10 other orders apparently made before mine which mean being over 30mins late... unlikely.

Been waiting over a hour 30 minutes for the order I placed. Tried calling twice and no answer. Not happy at all.

Over 1 hr for delivery quoted 26 mins. On the app been out to delivery for 30 mins. When i rung the shop to ask why said cause we are busy no apologies. Very rude member of staff

Placed an order online, dominoes booked the money off but online it told me something was wrong with the payment. When I called the only advice was to call my bank. Nothing they can do. Money gone - no dinner and now the hassle of calling the bank to get my money back. Great customer service 😳

The service and food is always normally very good. The Thame location needs to get better at updating their pizza tracker. My house is an awkward one to deliver to so I rely on the app to make sure I’m on the look out for the driver. On this occasion, the tracker wasn’t updated to which lead to the driver having to wait. He was then abusive when I answered the garden gate. He could have at least tried using the Ring door bell. I think he lacked some common sense. I rang the location to make a complaint to which wasn’t dealt with very seriously.

Amazing place to get your pizza from even in the time of Covid, but the only reason it gets 4 stars is because the waiting time for pizza when you order from the shop is really long compared to when you order via the app or over the phone.

Thank you Thame branch. We ordered 2 pizzas and 4 sides this evening online(Friday 25th September) for collection. It was ready and collected at the time specified but when my husband brought it home we noticed we were missing one of our 2 portions of chicken strippers. So I phoned the store to tell them and I could easily hear how very busy the young lady who answered the phone was, but she efficiently checked my order, took my address, apologised and said that they would drop the missing item to us as soon as a driver was available. As it turned out it was probably over an hour after we had collected that we had a knock on the door. We had just about given up but didn't want to bother phoning back (as it is payday weekend and they must be very busy) we would just call back tomorrow and get refund or credit as the member of staff had logged the issue. So when the driver said his manager sent apologies and a complimentary pizza would be added to our account I felt a good review was deserved! It is so easy to have a mistake happen with an order, and this time it was obviously difficult to rectify it quickly, so we very much appreciate the fact that you used good customer service to turn what could have been a disappointed family of customers into happy customers looking forward to our next Domino's treat.

Im disabled and he wouldnt deliver my order to my flat because of insurance reasons, Ive lived at the same address for 8 years and never had trouble before, On ringing the Thame shop i was told they are to busy and will call me later. Nobody has. I'll leave you to work it out.

Check the drinks prices on their menu and how much they're charging you if ordering. Other than that pizzas are cooked quicker than the timeframe they give

Good food but ordered my food . On app it said 10 to 15 minutes to be ready so I got there and they hadn't even started my pizza. Get a crack on dominos . Your normally better than this . Get off your mobile phones and start to get a move on and work like what your payed for . If it happens again there will be a formal complaint being made .

Sorry but I have had 2 pizzas at different times and reacted to both. I'm not sure if they use MSG or a similar flavour enhancer or if they use peppers in their basic sauce, I am intolerant of both.

Reubens was a particularly positive part of my Domino's experience. Very friendly and made the whole outing quite enjoyable. I will certainly be back to the Thames Domino's location.

Food is filling but overpriced just for pizza and brownies are stale and rubbish, potato wedges are always cold, garlic bread is just mainly bread, staff are rude and refuse to answer any questions, I was once charged 2 times for one order and when I called up saying what happened they hanged up, so I had to get head office to sort it for me, and delivery is always slow as I ordered a pizza before to be delivered at 7 but came at 9:30. Then other times I have have been given the wrong food. Rubbish service and pizza sometimes gets burnt or isn’t enough cheese. Plus I think £18.99 just for a pizza is ridiculous.

If I could put zero stars I would.. disgusting service, rude management and incorrect food delivered twice. (I even recorded the call so people can listen to how rude they are). I was accused of lying about wrong food on second pizza and delivery driver requested old pizza back and then said he didn't !!! Unbelievable. Will not be using again. Couldn't be more disappointed.

They don't put hardly any cheese on pizzas . Don't know why this store is so tight with there cheese, even when I order extra cheese. Other dominos stores are fine, these pizzas are so dry and allways over cooked. I have put a picture on the top of this page of my last pizza, look at the tiny puddles of cheese on it. I never usually write reviews but I'm sick of this place ripping me off every time.

This place is a joke they offer select your collection time which I did 1 hour ahead of when I wanted it and now it's 25 mins late from this time. This is the worse domino's I have ever encountered and the worse managed business ever seen. Management out the back laughing because people are complaining about their mistakes.

The few times I have ordered pizza is always burnt and the staff struggle to understand me on the phone. Today I was struggling with an online order and spoke to a rude young man who told me I can't cancel an online order I just made 5 seconds ago. (Surely I can by not accepting the delivery). Then another lady took the call and equally as abruptly told me the order hadn't been taken anyway. Really rude, and following reading the other reviews won't ever order again.

A multi million pound company has no deliveries for one of their stores??? Plus staff should be trained in people skills . So rude! Will not go here again

Honestly is by far the worst dominos pizza around, incredibly rude staff that shout at each other, make you feel very intimidated and just simply couldn't care less! When you are paying £17.99 for a pizza you expect a certain standard and a fair amount of topping. Here if you order a large pizza with chicken you are lucky to get 5 tiny slithers with the smallest amount of cheese and believe it or not you get less if you pay for extra! Every time we have come here we have left incredibly disappointed!

Disgruntled with the customer service! I called and the rep barely spoke English. I could not understand what he was saying half the time. He then got frustrated and hung up the phone and then would not pick up the phone from my number. I called back again to place an order from my son's phone and when he realised it was me calling back - he hung up! Well, I guess they don't need my business!! Probably should not be ordering it anyway as it will just put on the pounds!

Good pizza. But never has delivery drivers. Especially on Fridays and Saturday, delivery is never an available option.
