Wings 'N' Sushi in East Hertfordshire

Everything about that meal was perfect. The ramen was incredible, one of the best pork bellies I’ve ever had. Buffalo burger was unreal, lovely bun, lovely chicken breast and lovely blue cheese sauce. Wings and the batter were perfect. The corn ribs were good. The chips were incredible, crispy, fluffy, salty. The coleslaw was beautiful! And to round it off, Buddha beer would be my beer of choice if they sold it in pubs!! So light tasting but strong! All in all, that food deserves success! Bravo! 👏🏻

The photos drew me in, but unfortunately the food wasn’t great. The coleslaw tasted of fish (probably left uncovered in fridge with fish) and the wings and burger were average, though the fries were nice. Can’t comment on the sushi, but I wouldn’t have high hopes. Staffed by mostly young girls who were pleasant enough but service nothing special. Prices reasonable! Probably a fair spot for people wanting decent enough food and drinks with friends, but wouldn’t recommend if you are a foodie.

The best place in town! Wings are banging, sushi is always so fresh. Bang bang cauliflower is to die for ! Even better they do a bottomless brunch. Friendly staff, we come here weekly and never get bored !!

Ordered a couple things to takeaway, they literally put one side order in the bag stapled it and gave it to me, Check bag before you leave, The side I got was nothing special.

Just visited Wings n Sushi for breakfast and it was hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had! I went for the veggie breakfast and added a sausage and the flavours were phenomenal. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere and decor was stunning. I highly recommend visiting for a guaranteed delicious brekkie. We will definitely be back again!

Had been wanting to try this place since it opened but never had the chance, went here today with my partner for lunch and was absolutely blown away. Friendly and helpful staff, the atmosphere was calm and the restaurant itself is beautiful, I could go on. The menu is great and there are plenty of options to choose from. Had panko prawns, buffalo chicken wings and katsu loaded fries all for £12 as part of a Friday lunch deal. It’s no exaggeration when I say this was one of the nicest meals of eaten, and definitely the best chicken wing I’ve had. Also the portion sizes of the food were very generous. I cannot recommend this place more. Will be coming back and recommending to anyone looking for something different to eat. 5/5 experience!

Eat in or take out will be stone cold, food made me feel sick afterwards second time eating there and I should have learnt the first time but it’s always good to give everyone a second chance won’t be eating from them again

As a lover of both wings and sushi, I was excited yet skeptical whether the two foods would work together. We got three flavours of wings and a few sushi rolls, the wings arrived first and then the sushi was brought over once we had finished the wings. The wings were delicious, crispy on the outside and plentiful. A special mention to the Gochu Gang wings which were my personal favourite. The sushi was also very tasty, perhaps not the most adventurous but very good quality. But best of all, wings and sushi do go well together!!

Had breakfast at Wings and Sushi after seeing it advertised. It did not disappoint! Fab coffee and even more amazing food - poached eggs with the Fungi on sourdough I can highly recommend. It’s 100% new favourite breakfast place in Ware.

Badly managed, chaotic, they don’t try to make up for a late/missing order. Shame, because the food is decent.

Waited 45 minutes for our food only then to be told that they hadn’t actually put the order through. Ordered onion rings and then told they weren’t available when reordering. Asked for a second drink and that took 15 mins as the waiter was cleaning tables rather than serving customers waiting. The chicken strips were barely warm but the wings and chips were hot. The bill came to £45 and they took £10 off for our complaint but at £35 this was still far too expensive for the experience we endured. We won’t be eating here again.

Lovely food and a great selection of flavours to choose from as well. I really enjoyed eating the chicken wings and strips the chickens really tender from the buttermilk marinade and comes with great flavourings. I love the hoisin sinner, teriyaki and gochu jang flavours. Nice little pickles that come with that. The bang bang cauliflower is amazing has a bit of a chilli kick to it but its a great thing. The edemame beans are really great too. The only thing I can say is more comfortable seating would be nicer but no complaints with the food

My first visit since refurbishment thoroughly pleasing stay for a meal and felt like one of the regular customers for i see this as a lovely intimate area The waitress was kind sending me a glass of cool water to send my katsun curry away

Wish I could comment on the food, the menu looked promising. Me and my partner walked in to the basically empty restaurant, 3 people were standing behind the counter doing nothing but talking. I looked around, there were no signs that said wait here to be seated, and none of the tables said reserved. So me and my partner chose to sit on a table to 2 that was empty. The waitress then decided to come over and be rude, making us feel very uncomfortable for just walking in and sitting down, and then snidely saying I'll get you another menu and drinks menu. We felt so uncomfortable we just wanted to leave. It's the restaurants job to show the customer how you operate, not then make them feel bad for just sitting down

Strange experience, food was ok and service was awful There were a couple of orders mixed up, we were never provided side plates even though we were all sharing, never asked if our order was ok after we got our food (there was some wrong items), never provided glasses just a bottle of water and we weren't offered a second drinks. These are just some highlights.

The food was good but some dishes didn’t turn up, when we called them the wait time would be over half an hour. We had already waited an hour and a half for food.

Good food just small portions and expensive compared to size you get, and everything that was meant to be hot was warm at best. also the wings are absolutely tiny and hardly any meat on them. Service was great tho

My wife and I were absolutely stoked with the quality of the takeaway last Friday evening. The vegetarian sushi and chicken were excellent, as well as the chips were all awesome. The Bang Bang Cauliflower was exceptional. Delivery was prompt.

We always make the most of half price wings on Wing Wednesdays. I’ve tried them all and every single one was nice. The Chicken Katsu Fries are very good as well. My favourite wings are Honey and Sesame!

Great food and service! Tried many of the wings and shared with a pal. Ideal location on the High Street so parking easy. Also went on Wing Wednesday so got 50% off the wings.

It was ok. The loaded fries aren’t very “loaded”, the buttermilk chicken burger was really dry, the sauces on the wings is a little too much and often too tangy/rich. The service is friendly but quite slow. However, the cauliflower and seafood options were good. The food was freshly cooked.

The worst meal I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. Ducked in here because Mexican restaurant was closed. Big mistake. Waited & waited & waited then served a bunch of processed food scooped from a bag & thrown in deep fat fryer. Stone cold when it arrived, an hour after we ordered. Chips served 10 mins before rest of the food turned up. Food was just awful. Nasty slice of processed cheese, tepid chicken & a brioche. Stupid prices for rotten food. How do people eat this stuff?

Food was excellent, starters arrived super quick and the chicken wings were absolutely bussing. We had chicken gyoza, the “gochugang” wings and a Freddie Mer-Curry burger and it was all mouth-watering. Highly recommend coming here. Very nice atmosphere too, we came in for lunch at 12 and it was very calm and laidback.

One thing that Ware was missing for a long time! Finally a Sushi place and a really good one!

Not bad at all for a sushi place in the middle of a small town. Sushi’s worth the price but avoid the gochujjang sauce wings or fillet as its too sour.

Wings and Sushi serves up really fresh and delicious food. There isn’t anything on the menu that my family doesn’t like. Harry always looks after us, always with a smile. We all love coming here and will be back again soon.

No suprise this is only one star hygiene rating. Me and my husband had real stomach issues after eating here. Do Not recommend. The food was tasty, however there was cleary something not right if we both got sick after eating there.

It’s a shame because the food is nice but the place always seems to be closed lately in the evenings despite what their opening hours advertise. Eaten here a few times and order has not been complete on a good number of occasions. The app is very clunky and needs a lot of work because you can’t see photos for quite a large chunk of the menu

Had their £10 lunch deal and absolutely could not fault it. Punchy flavours, crunchy chicken. And the bang bang cauliflower is SO good. You really couldn’t find a better lunch for a tenner. Superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly we had no cash for a tip.

Some of the best wings I've had in a long time, maybe even outside of the USA. It's quite expensive but you wouldn't know that by how busy it was.

Wow, just came back from lunching in this place, I loved every mouthful. I had some left over, dropped off to my Son, he loves his wings, very impressed. Service was absolutely brilliant, food fresh, not too spicy, flavourful, exciting, huge portions, I will be back and so will my Son, thank you for a great dining experience.

A group of us who were staying local ended up having dinner here two nights in a row. Great wings with unusual but flavoursome sauces. Would definitely visit again.

The food is really nice but we received bad customer service last night. We ordered a take away containing 12 wings, only to find we were given only 4 wings. We phoned up and politely said we'd been given the wrong number of wings, to which the girl on the phone said "you only paid for 4 wings." When we said we've paid £14.50 for 12 wings, she continued to argue with us and said we've paid for 4 wings. She said she'd check, I heard another staff member say "oh s&!@" in the background and the girl came back to the phone and said they'll send the remainder of the wings out. No apology at all and no recognition of their mistake, would put me off going back.

Always incredible food and great service. I have been ordering from Wings N Sushi from when they were first based in Hunsdon. They have now exploded onto the scene in Ware town. All I hear is great comments about the restaurant and the food. Very well deserved. We feel very lucky that such a great restaurant is on our door step.

The food is quite nice, but the service is very slow for collection. I was still waiting for my collection 30 mins after the time it was booked for.

Ordered online waited patiently for 1hr 30 minutes only to be told my order didnt make it to the kitchen. The worst customer service I've ever received with no sincerity. Wouldn't recommend unfortunately.

Great food, but.... the last 3 times I've had a takeaway, I've arrived to collect my food at the time specified (which is usually 45-60 mins after placing the order) only to be told it will another 5, 10 , 15 mins etc and it never is just 5, 10 or 15 mins. Not only that, but last time the chicken was cold, but I'd been waiting for 30 mins in the shop waiting for it to be "prepared". It's getting to the point where I don't want to order a takeaway from the, which is a shame as I really like the food.

Been here twice and both of the times we were satisfied with our meals. Both times we arrived after lunch time and it was nearly empty which is not bad for people who don't like crowds. Other times when I was passing by it was packed. So far have tasted Absolutely Nuts, Honey Sesame and Saucy Sriracha wings. My favourite ones were the nutty and the sesame ones. The sauces are great and the chicken was also well done. Need to point out that on Wednesday they do 50% of the wings. We have also tried the chicken katsu curry which was not bad too. Still have to try the sushi. The place is clean, price is fair for this area and can't complain for the service. Definitely would return.

Poor service, poor customer service, disappointed with the food. Telephone doesn't work. Don't respond to website messages or emails. My order was not complete. Ordered a takeaway for collection on a Friday night. You get given a collection time, which is about 40 minutes after you place the order. I arrived just after my collection time, as it's hard to find a parking space near by. It was a Friday, the restaurant was busy, so I was asked to wait, which I was fine with. I gave my name and was told that someone would grab me, when the food was ready. 25 minutes later, no news, until 1 of the staff asked my name. From her reaction, my food had been sitting waiting for me, for some time. After waiting, I was in a rush to get the food home, 2 people were waiting for me. I didn't check my order before leaving the restaurant. I get home, get the food out, to find I am 1 portion of gochu wings missing. I over heard the staff telling another customer in the restaurant that the telephone is not working, so I cannot call them. I contact them through the contact page on their website. No reply in 2 days. So I then reply to my order confirmation. No reply 24 hours. Hopefully, I will get a response to this. The food, Satay wings nice. Hoisin wings even better. The quality of the chicken is questionable, the wings are huge. Poor quality, bland battery chicken, chickens. Gochu wings were missing from the order. No idea what the are like. Honey and sesame breaded strips were quite nice, very delicate. Again, the actual chicken is bland. Chips were all a bit disappointing, but maybe because they didn't travel well (15 minutes). As with all bad experiences, I am happy to try ordering from here again, but only if I hear back from the restaurant. Then this review may change.

Ordered a takeaway in the shop and stood waiting for nearly an hour! People that came to dine in and ordered after me got their food before I did? Food was good but very poor service.

Does what it says on the tin. Good wings in different sauces, sushi. Had peanut satay wings and dragon tuna spicy roll - delicious. Nice katsu curry chips. Do different deals throughout the week, so can have relatively cheap lunch - also has alcohol. Staff very pleasant. Will be back.

We came here for my friend’s birthday and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the lady, who I believe is the manager, took pictures for us and was so kind. They brought the cake we had taken out and sang happy birthday (so did everyone else in the restaurant lol) and made the night so special. The food is an amazing price we only spent about £12 each on the food the rest was made up of alcohol! But it is amazing for value we had so much food and so many drinks. We will definitely be coming back again and if you like wings and sushi then I would definitely recommend this place! (:

I have had several wonderful experiences dining at Wings N Sushi and their Hoisin sinner wings are heavenly and each time I've had them there they have been done to a high standard. The staff are always friendly and know the menu really well (thanks for the recommendation of the Rainbow roll).

Ordered a mixture of wings and sushi here and both were good. Some good flavour / seasoning options on the wings with a good level of heat. Sushi was also good but only tried the prawn nigiri and cucumber rolls. Took a little longer for the food to come out than i would have hoped however it was Dickensian evening and the place was v busy which is understandable.

Wings and Sushi has a lot of potential to be a fantastic thriving restaurant. To begin with a positive… the food is simply excellent. There is a vibrant menu which is executed very well. All of our food was well put together, balanced and very tasty. The reason for my 3 stars is the overall experience as a dining in guest. The first 15 minutes of our experience was really quite incredibly loud due to a group of 8, 30 something drunks shouting at each other. One couple next to us had slightly less patience and left, visibly annoyed by the fact they couldn’t talk to each other and got up and left. I was a whisper away from doing the same but fortunately their food came and they disappeared. This is simply avoided by having a member of staff who are capable of politely asking them to lower the volume. The two people working unfortunately didn’t have the confidence. It’s time to order our food and even though it is a Saturday night the restaurant is empty now the shouters have gone but sadly we were still expected to get up and order our food at the bar. I understand this when the place is rammed and I can see how it suits the model but I think some flexibility and training from the waiting staff would allow some diners a better experience when it is possible to do so. Then the food arrives! Like I said above.. the food is fantastic. However I am extremely disappointed to be eating sushi out of a plastic tray which I can only assume is thrown away. Again I can see the ease of this when considering the model of the business but a) the dine in experience is considerably better without the use of take away plastic b) I almost don’t want to come back simply because I don’t want to waste any more plastic. I’m not a green living junkie but it felt truly excessive My final gripe is with the toilet which resembled the only cubicle in a flash boozer in the centre of Manchester at 3am. Somebody should be appointed the task of regularly checking the single toilet because it was completely unacceptable. With a broken seat, an extra large splashing of urine all over and toilet paper everywhere. I get that it’s difficult to manage because drunk men will be drunk men but the place was empty and there was no excuse for somebody not to sort that out like any other restaurant would do. I’d probably get a take away from Wings and Sushi but won’t be dining again without some really simple improvements in the way the place is managed. p.s well done chef, you are the glue.

Placed an order by phone & paid by card. After waiting a hour, I called to see where our order was. They lied & said the food was on the way. Turns out, they took my money and then closed the kitchen for the night!! Liars & thieves.

Absolutely horrendous service. They called at 19:55 to tell me my order that I placed well over an hour ago had not gone through, and refused to make the food I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. This has happened to my friends before as well. Safe to say I will never be back and will be telling everyone I know & meet to NEVER order from here.

Ordered sriracha wings and few different sets of sashimi and sushi. All the food is great! I mean - really good! Wings were meaty and full of flavour! Rolls were done nicely topped with delicious sauces. Prices are very competitive. Try and get some wider selection of fish. That would be great! Overall I do recommend Wings and Sushi and I will definitely come back soon! Thanks!

Spent a very long time waiting for chicken burger and chips, got a free drink for waiting so long but when I finally got the burger it was dryer than the Sahara desert, shame as the flavour was good. Just not worth the wait or money. Sorry wings and sushi but you took the absolute p*ss.

Don’t order from here, they never get the order right. 4 times we have ordered and we never get what we order, they always forget something… food is average and on top of that they miss items, staff couldn’t care less
