Polite staff quick food delivery.

Take away order which I said three times in shop got home no sweet and sour chicken balls. When rung up woman said never ordered I said I did read order out 3 times in shop. My dad's disabled was treat live in harold wood will not be going back charge for food don't receive and try telling you didn't order. So unprofessional steer clear everyone shocking service.

I am genuinely concerned about what I have just eaten. Absolutely awful. How this place is open and operates is a mystery. Maybe a more appropriate restaurant name would be wah'shin wonga!!

AWFUL. Just picked up a large order for dinner. Was awful, tastes like nothing but at the same time just tastes so grey and not nice at all. Ordered fried rice, has a weird smell and just tastes so revolting. Would not recommend at all.

Is so so bad no taste at all , As a 40+ Chinese I have ever eat thing like that every thing is no taste after eat feeling thirsty mean they put too much SMG

Absolutely disgusting, definitely the worst chinese around. Food tastes like nothing but also smells so rancid it’s so off putting . Absolutely not worth the money, definitely on the higher side. Not worth it at all.

I found hair in my chow mein also the food was cold and the chicken was soo raw. Delivery driver was horrible

Do not tip on your online orders for drivers as they do not pay the tips 🙄 to drivers instead suck them themselves very horrible not an honourable by the takeaway. If anyone orders from just eat or uber eats and you wish to pay tip to your drivers id suggest void it as the drivers have informed the restaurant put that in their own pocket SO SAD FOR DRIVER I FEEL I TIPPED THE TAKEAWAY INSTEAD OF MY DELIVERY SERVICES.

The food was very horrible i order large vegetables chew mean noddle were burnt vegetables taste very horrible never ever order food them again.

Probably one of the better Chinese in Romford very good portion’s plenty of flavours delivery man polite I would say prices slightly on the higher side but i don’t mind that for decent food and service

Ordered a delivery from here, as I do every Wednesday. The website took my order and my money but, apparently, my order didn't get to the shop. So no delivery, 25 quid out of pocket and no attempt to resolve the issue. Will never use this place again, neither will my sizable circle of family and friends. Very poor show.

I have had some excellent food and some ok food at times. It's worth giving it a go. Just check you leave with the right order as they have delivery drivers coming and going.

I have used for years and phoned my order for delivery with no problems however, I went in today and found that I could only pay with cash, I had to cancel my order as I only had my cards on me. I was told that they always only accept cash but I have paid my telephone orders by card!

I ordered food and asked for garlic in the food which was promised I phoned the person up who I spoke to originally whosaid sorry must have forgotten I said the noodles have no flavour response was we don't put garlic in them after agreeing g the mussels were full of beard said they would send garlic in a cab around 30 mins the food has no flavour seaweed full of had bits It's okay saying g sorry I asked to colle t noodles etc ssid they can't a total wasteb

Been eating there food for years and always been fantastic, we noticed the shop shut for 2 weeks around the time of our loverly Queen parsing, had 5 freinds over last night 23 October 2022 and I recommend this Chinese, we spent over £75, omg I don't know if they have charged management or cooks but the food was so bad, chicken chowmain with no chowmain just cheap spaghetti with hardly any chiken in it, 3 portion of honey ribs cooked to death, dry hardly any meat on them, lamb curry but no one new what meat it was in this curry? Thai chiken curry with blocks of conprest tasteless pretend chicken in it, the other meals well we just picked at them as we was all so hungry, the only good bit of his order was the 5 pancake rolls, curry sauce , not interested in a refund or any replacement meal we just won't use you ever again, back to green river Chinese in collierow.

Absolutely gutted , this has been our favourite take away restaurant for some time now and we do use it quite regularly, unfortunately tonight has seriously changed our mind on their customer service , the food has always been really good but usually order via Uber, tonight while doing Uber order realized that we need something from our local shop so decided to collect from Wing Wah instead of delivery, called the shop and gave the same order as on Uber only to be told that the free item for over £30 order was not available as not using Uber , to be fair I wasn't that bothered about the free item but it was the way I was told and purely the principal of the fact, it will be a long while before using again...

Got from Uber. Tasted rushed and not authentic. Wouldn’t eat again

Uber Eats Nothing special Delivery took an over hour from order time and even then food came cold. Sweet & Sour tasted bland. Would say the menu is expensive for what you get

absolutely vile and a waste of money still they are ,laughing all the way to the bank. pancake roll tasteless full of gREASE and beansprouts a it of carrot. ribs just bones did get my money back - chow mein tasteless soups average. never again

The chips were inedible, hard, as if frozen or reheated. Batter on a prawn dish chewy and inedible. Clumpy rice, greasy Chow Mein. So bad we phoned to question why? First call cut off/hung up? Second call offered a free dish next time, advised not acceptable, offered £5 off next meal. There won’t be a next meal, we literally put the whole lot in the bin. Disgusting food, disgraceful attitude.

The worst Chinese i have ever had. I never review, and i never call back but it was vile. it went straight in the bin. The rice was hard the salt and pepper prawns were basically door stops. the sweet and sour sauce was water with red food colouring, but to end on a positive least i know where not to go

Food arrived 1 hour later than it should have been, impossible to reach by phone, and food was at best "okay".

I was a regular customer and only used this chinese since I moved to havering area but not using again as placed an order online 2 hours later no delivery called shop 26 times no answer checked on opening times they were open then I get a call back saying something had happened in the kitchen and they had to close and that I would get a refund in 10 days not happy at all as waited 3 hours to find out my food was not coming so now had to order elsewhere also that night our dinner was double cluster service not good at all

£10 for egg fried rice and salt and chillie prawns. Portions were very big and i got free prawn crackers. And in all honestly the rice was pretty nice but the prawns were a dissapointment.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE! They take the absolute mick! Waited over 2 hours when I then got a update to say my food will be with me soon via Uber eats, called them 45 mins later and they said they hadn’t even started cooking it yet! And wouldn’t give me a refund even though my order never turned up! Disgusting attitude. Please give your money to someone else that actually cares about there business because these clearly don’t.

Best Chinese food around, tastes great, extensive menu and portions are very generous, been around for donkey's year's, sadly the decor is a bit tired, but has installed new covid screens, also on the 24th was cash only, card machine not working apparently (there's an ATM 200 metres away, if required) get past these niggles and your in for a treat

2nd time of trying as we were fed up with our last Chinese they changed hands and after 30 years decided we needed a change, tried a few but must say we will definitely be using here from now on,great food fantastic tastes.

My family have been using Wing Wah since the 80s, and although the original owners have passed the shop down in the family, and most of my family have moved away. I fancied a chinese chicken curry with rice, and my memory was better than reality unfortunately. The chicken was poor quality, felt like lumps of formed meat rather than real chicken and it was tasteless. The curry sauce was OK. The ribs I had with it were nice, but can't detract from that fact I was let down with the curry. I won't go back and instead just remember how it used to be :) sorry.

The food was just reheated, it was bloody awful. Never go here. Food was chewy have to split food out thought I would get food poisoning

Delivery took an hour and 10 minutes!! Ordered at 5.50 on a Monday night. Chased delivery at 6.30 as my guests were leaving at 7.15. Told delivery driver had not returned to collect the order! Chased again at 6.45 to be told driver had just left with order! I live a mile and a half away! Not acceptable and charged £2 for delivery although order was over £20

where do i start worst 36 pounds spent in a long time. Food was very greasy. Every thing covered in red food dye and absolutely tasteless onion appear to be soaked in vinegar. Food not fresh at all. Would not recommend at all Special chow main was awlful

Friendly staff but the chicken in black bean sauce needs improvement as it was too watery and needs to be thicker.

Yeah 👍 good , not covered in grease like it used to be. Great flavour especially salt n pepper ribs. I know it's all done from a packet but the quality is there. Stepping into the shop and the decor is like a murder scene from the 70's don't let it put you off.

food was overly salty, fried rice was egg fried rice and it took 1.5 hours for the food to come even thou I am not far from the shop

Our food was cold, chips cold and under cooked .. our duck wasn’t crispy duck either , curry sauce stodgy all seemed like it had been hanging around for few days .. didn’t seem fresh to us and very tasteless .. what moe can say 😳save your money .

Absolutely disgusting. Duck was so hard dry overcooked. Fat lying in the bottom of the bag which chicken balls where in. We got free chicken legs with it that was defo just cooked in a deep fat fryer and to top it all off was all cold. Would not recommend to anyone

We've been loyal customers for +10 years & always enjoyed the food. However one mouthful of the sweet & sour pork and I immediately threw it out; it stank and tasted rotten. The chicken had a hard skin of 3mm. The Ingredients are about 2 weeks old and have been left out in 30 degree + heat. Contacting them they claimed the ingredients were fresh lol. That's the last order we ever place with Wing Wah.

the food here is very pleasing my girlfriend loves to get her lips around a hot meaty spring roll and the juice that falls out she laps up all round a marvellous place its like the Chinese cheers bar everybody knows my girlfriend's name

Im not a local (scottish) so unbiased review. Only popped in here for a portion of curry sauce as got a fish supper in Pettits next door.....anyway Asked fir curry to be xtra xtra hot.....charged extra for it....LMFAO!!!😂😂😂 WORST CURRY SAUCE EVER and served in a small drinking cup.....bland bland & bland!

I used to use this Chinese 14 years ago before moving abroad. I recently visited and decided to go to what was my favorite take away. Phoned and asked how long delivery would be, "45 mins", "Ok I will collect how long?", "10 Minutes". Got there and the girl took our money and went out the back. 35 minutes later she emerged with the food. Got it home and it was the worst meal I have ever eaten. The Crispy Duck was stale and hard. Even the Prawn crackers where actually chewy. Everything was clearly reheated. My Mum phoned to complain and was rudely told nobody else has complained today and that they wouldn't change it or refund. We have kept the food and intend on taking it to Environmental Health on Monday for testing. I was so upset about this as I loved this place before I moved away.

Food is ok, there is better Chinese takeaways in the area, the main fault I can find with this place is there was a bone in my special fried rice! This I choked on so was not a nice experience!

have use them 4 times and it was good but on the 5th time the beef in the curry tasted disgusting, off got my refund only for 2 currys but not for the rice I did not use and other bits I had to throw away they want see me or my money again !!!

Great takeaway, friendly staff it also has one of the best chilli shredded beef that I've tasted. I definitely recommend Wing Wah!
