Wimpy in Aylesbury Vale

A 12 year old girl in the toilet with a 4 year old when I complained I was sworen at and thrown out the establishment what on earth is going g on in the world avoid ay all costs

I order a burger 13 £off burger the waiters it comes with mini burger I refuse to haven't it was so small it was a joke. End the manager arrogant person it was saying I don't care u pay all ready words off hall off the manager I hope u get what u deserve horrible manager like u get what the horrible reviews like udon't deserve to work one this industry

Spot on, good service food served hot, lot choice on menu reasonably priced, nice fries and burgers, passing by visit efficient pit stop, will visit again...

Lovely food, staff very attentive and the restaurant and toilet were very clean. My husband had a burger and I had a breakfast muffin. Both were very good. I would definitely go again if I was in the area.

We went there for Lunch on Easter Monday and we thought the Food was good quality and very good value for Money. The English Breakfast was superb- loved the fact that they used Sausages that were really similar to a German Frankfurter and had great taste along with the eggs, back Bacon and Sweet Potato Chips as a slightly more expensive alternative to ordinary Chips! We also choose a Cheese Burger and we enjoyed it so much that we ordered two!

We promised our daughter a visit next time we where in Aylesbury and show her how it used to be done in my childhood (not eating out of paper bags and boxes ) We were not disappointed the burgers were great, freshly cooked and full of fresh salad. The place was spotless clean and staff were polite and service was quick. We will be going again next time we visit Aylesbury to try the all day breakfast.

From the previous reviews we must have gone somewhere else! Popped in for a trip down memory lane and the burgers were great, chicken stack delicious, thick milkshake super thick but not icey like some, the staff member who served us was so polite and couldn't do enough. A bit pricey for what it was, but the place was really clean, efficient and nice food, so I would recommend if you're passing.

I was astounded to learn that the 'Veggie Brekkie' was not available after 12pm and yet the 'All day [meat] breakfast' was available all day long. This is clear discrimination in the age of inclusivity. I was not given a satisfactory reason why by 1. the server who actually suggested the all day breakfast but obviously this was not suitable for vegetarians and 2) [after picking spicey bean burger] when the manager came over to ask if everything was ok I replied no and continued to enquire about the no veggie brekkie after 12 he responded rudely and condescendingly informed me to complain to head offfice. He looked down his nose at us the whole time and smirking. He even waved goodbye at us as we left. Overall, a poor experience at Aylesbury Wimpy on 24 January 2023. First and last visit to Wimpy.

If I could give this 0 I would. Absolutely disgusting food. The burgers where like the ones you find in a bad van at the roadside or outside a football stadium, cheap, greasy and horrible. I thought let’s give Wimpy a try as a sentimental visit being they were the first burger chain to land in the 70s. Well they were bad then but not as bad as this was. It is clear to see why places such as the company with the Golden Arches are so busy as they’re cheaper and a million times better. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

We had been looking forward to visiting this establishment for some time as we had many happy memories eating at Wimpys, The look seemed authentic but we missed the Tomato shaped ketchup bottles, There appeared to be numerous staff milling about, not necessarily in a purposeful manner, Additionally, there seemed to be a stern faced manager wandering about - not a happy man. Our server was a very pleasant young person but seemed to be unsure of what was available, Numerous excuses were made, no breakfast because many people came in earlier, not sure if pancakes could be served as it was a dessert, had to check if toast could be served etc, When our coffee didn't arrive we asked a surly and stone faced server where it was, She stomped off and said in an abrupt manner - "Its coming", We decided to call it a day, the manager was apologetic we paid our bill and left - Never to return Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.
