We ordered from here when it was Wok Warrior and loved the food and became regulars. We didn't notice much change when it changed to Yoomi so continued to order. However, from the beginning of October the food taste and quality has really decreased so much so that we may not order again. It's such a shame as this was hands down the best Chinese takeaway in Aylesbury!

We've ordered from here a few times and the food arrives fresh and promptly. I like that they do a salt and pepper box.

Very terrible service waited over 2 and half hours for my order. Was told it would only be an hour. When asked a specific time of delivery I was then told that they don’t know when the food will arrive. So much time and money wasted will never order from here again!!

Worst food and service. I can’t even begin to tell you how bad the service is. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM THIS PLACE. THEY TAKE 2 HOURS TO PROVIDE FOOD. If you have (hungry) kids at home, don’t order from this place.

We have now ordered 5 times and they never fail to disappoint. We have tried nearly every Chinese in town and this is a 11/10 Service and food is always spot on. My partner is from London and he won’t try any other Chinese now Yoomi is open :)

This place was down the road from me and was new/refubished so thought I'd give it a try. The food was excellent! There was also a deal where if you pay over £30/35 you get a fiver off, so we took advantage of this and added more to the set meal for 2 order we got Pancake rolls were great, rice was good, beef curry tasted nice too. Only criticism, if any, would be is that the curry sauce is a little too thick. The order was ready quite swiftly too...we didn't have to wait long at all which is really good considering a lot of places in ayles take quite a while. The lady over the phone/counter was also really polite and patient too 🙏. Will be coming here again if they continue the speed, quality and good customer service. 👍

The food is tasty, but the spice levels are confusing. I had salt and pepper tofu which wasn't spicy at all, singapore rice which was medium and singapore noodles which were hotter than the surface of the sun, but all were one chilli. The Yoomi tofu which was three chillis had a mild spice level. It would probably be best if they gave options on how spicy you like things.

Ordered some Malaysian noodles sambal, Malaysian rice sambal, chips with curry sauce, and king prawns sambal, all was flavourless. There was so sambal, no salt it was a rip off. All went straight to the bin.

Chicken chow mein was delicious. The portion was generous and was made quickly. Sechuan chicken was delicious too but a bit too sweet for my liking. You notice books in the shop as soon as you enter. It’s not what will probably matter to you as a diner looking for a quick Chinese grub but for a bibliophile like me it spoke of character. The Asian man who handed over my order couldn’t speak English but was very polite and friendly. (Don’t worry about any language barrier; my order was taken by a patient English speaking teenager). I will go back again and try new dishes.

A typical Chinese takeaway in the right centre of the town. Food are tasty and fresh. Decent portion for the price. Loads of parking areas in the near by streets and shopping area. Would definitely try again.

First time I’ve tried this place , won’t be going back. A large beef chow mein was £7.50 which is expensive compared to other places who actually serve nice food. I counted 4 small slices of beef , there was no flavour at all. I had to season with salt and pepper when I got home. No bean sprouts and the whole meal was swimming in oil. To top it off I found a large black hair half way through which made me want to vomit. I certainly won’t be back and I understand why there’s so many bad reviews now. The place was empty when I got there to order. Indian bloke at the front counter was chewing gum while taking my order. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Have included a photo of the black hair next to an extremely unhealthy amount of oil. No idea why you’d need this much oil to cook noodles

This place has gone hugely downhill. I started using WokWarrior a year ago, and it was fantastic. Within the past 6 months, everything has gone downhill. The quality of the food, the portion size, the delivery times. Now, for absurd reasons (only one delivery driver) for the past 4 orders, my order has been cancelled. I live 4.5 miles from the restaurant, well within their means to deliver. No one calls to tell you the order has been cancelled, so you wait an hour for nothing to turn up, only to have to call to be made aware the order has been cancelled with no real reason. You have lost a valued customer here. I have encouraged many people to use your restaurant, but no longer. I shall be actively telling people to avoid this place. Waste of time and effort. Such a shame. Sort it out.

Delivery quick but very disappointed in food quality, definitely Not the sun sun takeaway from the past. Yakitori £7.59 are tasteless & disgusting.🤢 Mixed meat curry please go back to your chef and congratulate him , he makes the worst oriental curry in Aylesbury 🫡

This place has quickly become my favourite local Chinese. Food is always hot and fresh and you don’t wait forever on a delivery! Great selection of dishes from across Asia. Highly recommend.

Absolute rubbish! Food arrived 45 minutes later than estimated and was cold. Refused to accept delivery, the driver couldn't care less, rang takeaway (Wok Worrier) that was a waste of time. Never again.

Well I order from there this evening and my order never arrived and no response from the restaurant. Very disappointed

Ordered a takeaway and I would say delivery was good and food was good. However I personally feel that they should add free prawn crackers after a certern spend, we spent nearly £56 which I beleive is justified. I'm sorry if my review seems pretty however with the cost of living going up I believe any business should show some appreciation for there customers spending.

Tried this place as my regular was closed. Now I've converted! What amazing food! Even with presentation like you're in China Town! Arrived fast, piping hot, not greasy at all. Really impressed, has my business from now on. 5 stars. I would like to give a special shout out to the young gentleman that takes the calls.

Have been waiting over an hour for our food to arrive to then be notified our order had been cancelled. Called and asked what was happening and they said they didn’t help at all and said they were ‘too busy’. Go somewhere else for yoke takeaway.

Normally I would say this is the best Chinese around ... but today I've just had to throw everything in the bin chicken is hard I'm guessing reheated .. noodles have a strange aniseed taste ... last time they forgot my ribs was offered a voucher that expired before I ordered again .. this time I've received the ribs but wish I hadn't.. I waited 1 hour and 40 mins for this would of hoped for fresh food I will not be ordering again.. shame to go from soo good to this bad

I like the food but my experience today has put me right off. I asked for the same item that I ordered twice 2 weeks ago (mushroom curry), I was told this is not sold there. I said I just read it on uber eats and he told me this could not be true. He then said he would do a chicken curry and take out the chicken. He was charging me for a more expensive chicken curry I did not ask for. He then told me that I could review all I want because its not his problem he only works there (customer service was appaulling). I have ordered a lot from here lately..... not anymore. You cant charge people anything you want and have an attitude with them. I will go elsewhere for better standards.

The most delicious food I've had from a Chinese/Malaysian/Korean restaurant in a very long time. Absolutely wonderful. The Steamed buns are great, black bean is on point and the honey chicken is superb, I'm not a huge seafood lover but I tried their salt and pepper squid and it was amazing. I'm running out of superlatives so I'll end by saying that I highly recommend this restaurant. A+++++ Also Lewis at front of house, is a gent 👏🏽 (Also in my photo I only took it after I had eaten the Steamed buns and half of what I ordered😁)

Food is vile! Raw chicken, frozen spring rolls, duck full of fat, disgusting!

Poor service food portions tiny and one dish was missing 2hours later it still hadn't arrived . You had a chance to make it right after numerous calls but you missed your opportunity and the point of good service . You won't catch me again !

Made our order at 16:45 to be delivered at 18:15, so we could eat and have time to put our son to bed. Estimated time for delivery on the app said 18:15-18:35. I phoned at 7:10 after trying 20 times, but was busy each time I called. The guy said it was out for delivery, even though the app said driver assigned and it hadn’t left yet. I phoned again at just after 7:30 and they said they’d phone me back, as they didn’t know where the order was. They phoned back 15 minutes later and said the driver had lost the order (3 hours after ordering!). They said they would make our order again and send it out straight away and only offered a £1.85 dessert as compensation. I asked for either a voucher to use next time instead or some money back, which they said they couldn’t do. He said I could have a drink, but only 1, couldn’t send two…. So we received a can of drink. Ordered arrived at 8:10…3hrs 25mins after ordering!!! We always use them on Uber eats or on their app, but think we will try elsewhere now

One of the worst meals I've ever ordered. Food took over two hours to arrive even though delivery time on deliveroo stated 60 minutes. Food arrived all stone cold, the bits we could eat of it were bland, tasteless and swimming in grease. Meat was chewed and stringey and sauces watery. Portion sizes also appear to suffer for the price and in comparison to other local restaurants. Avoid!

Tried for the first time and was very impressed. Food arrived piping hot with a friendly delivery driver. The crispy chilli beef was delicious I will definitely be ordering that again. The portions seemed small at first but I think the packaging is deceiving as we ended up with lots of leftovers. All in all only ordered due to the 50% off deal but I will be ordering again for sure!

Ordered at 7pm yesterday and finally delivered at 10.15pm. We tried many time to call and cancel but the phone lines were busy, presumably with other customers calling to chase their order, we ended up refusing the delivery when it arrived as we had to order food from elsewhere. If you're going to pass out leaflets with a 50% promotion, may I suggest you distribute them to one area at a time so you can keep up with the demand when the orders come in.

First time here, they offer many dishes I have never seen before some very interesting choices. Food was absolutely delicious they were clearly incredibly busy so it took a while but it was very much worth the wait. Will be back

Ordered the moment they opened (around 5pm) and was surprised that the food came in 20 mins! Very efficient delivery, food was pipping hot and tasted amazing. I haven't been feeling very well since yesterday and had no appetite, so I just thought of taking the opportunity to say thank you for making days like this more bearable with the delicious food and fantastic service :)

This is the first time I have visited Sun Sun. Hard day, cold night and I am in need of an uplift. There are a number of “chinese@ take aways along Cambridge Street. A quick search brought Sun Sun to the top of the list and Malaysian caught my eye. I worked in Malaysia a few times and survived on fried rice. Naturally, Malaysia Fried Rice caught my eye, I was quickly and politely greeted and within 10 minutes was given a plastic tray of joy. Placed inside my jacket on a cold evening, it kept me warm on the walk to my car. Transformed from a “water bottle” to a main dish, it satisfied a second time by walking my stomach. Happy memories of Malaysia returned, a variation on Nasi Goreng, and a very happy customer. Thank you.

There was something off with the food the other night, both my husband and I got dodgy belly. And the pineapple fritters, what a disappointment, the batter was uncooked. I had to spit it out. I am just wondering how the other Chinese places are like in Aylesbury if this is voted as the best ?😑

A nice surprise. Never had Sun Sun before but really enjoyed the food. Every dish has its own distinct flavour and good to see a variety of beancurd dishes available for vegetarians. The only negative was the salt and chilli beancurd which sadly didn't have much flavour. Also they refer to beancurd and tofu seperately on the menu but they are the same. Otherwise a good takeaway, tasty food and I'll definitely be ordering from here again. (I had szechwan tofu, salt and chilli bean curd, bean curd in black bean, egg fried rice and mushroom chow mein)

Food was not hot, meat was dry and tough and satay sauce did not taste like a satay sauce should taste like, filled with onions and peppers with hardly any meat, extremely disappointed and will not be using you again I

Always struggled to find a decent Chinese Takeaway in Aylesbury... Now we have. Great service and tasty food (not greasy like the others we've tried). Small niggle, it would be good to have a PDF version of your menu on the Website. We had to find images of it on the Facebook page.

I lived in Malaysia for 3 years and since being back in the uk have not found anywhere other than a restaurant in China town London ( long way to go) that makes traditional Malaysian food, until now! I ordered char kway teow and beef rendang, it was heavenly. The portion was large to the point of saving the beef until the following day. The quality of prawns and meat was great too, I will most definitely be ordering again. Thank you 🙏

Drove to their shop on Saturday night, but found the place empty, in darkness and locked up - closed.Googling the shop, I discovered that the local council had issued an order closing down the shop due to poor hygiene. Walked across the road to Dominos who were open.

Second time on the trot that our food has come late, 1st time of the 2 occasions I received the wrong food, I rung them and they said I got what I ordered when I certainly didn’t, now today we ordered and gave them the benefit of the doubt and yet again a poor experience, they forgot our part of our order then when we started eating they’d given my partner the wrong food. He rung to complain they said 5 mins for your items and tried hanging up, he had to say 4 times it’s not about the forgotten items! Very rude, management and team need to invest in customer service training in order to get better reviews.

The last time I ordered it was a month ago and it wasn't good enough for me so decided to give it a go again to try for the second time and it was more than what I was expecting very tasty food and a very good service

They have a variety of dishes on the menu, so there is plenty to choose from. Friendly staff and good telephone manner when ordering takeaway. Give them a try, you know you want too.
