Papa Johns in Aylesbury Vale

I've been ordering from Papa Johns for the last 6 months exclusively becuase I used to think its really good. Yesterday I ordered my food at 3PM. It arrived at 4:40PM. I had to call the restaurant and the guy at the phone was extremely rude. Not ordering from Papa Johns ever again.

Uncompromising, unapologetic and often gets the orders wrong

Ordered pizza which showed online as delivered after one hour. It was still not delivered and when we called the first time the person hung up the phone saying that he can't hear me clearly. He didn't pick up when I called again from same number but picked up when I called from another phone. Pizza delivered half an hour after that call. Cold and tasteless. Never going to order again and never going to recommend anyone to order.

It was already very late after the birth and we really had to eat. So we ordered pizza and a chocolate chip cookie. Lovely belly full.

If I could give a zero score I would have done. Someone in this store tried to log onto my wife’s bank card and take money from her bank. Fortunately the bank declined the card, not going into why. However our bank has confirmed which branch tried to withdraw funds we know the date and time the attempt was made. We are cancelling the account with them and strongly advise others to do the same. Clearly someone there cannot be trusted. If Papa Johns Aylesbury thinks it is acceptable to steal money from customers then they do not deserve to exist. THIS IS FACT not FICTION. The banks fraud team are now involved.

How can I give the driver a tip?

was taking a while, almost an hour. called, and they said will be 2 mins and it was, they forgot my drink, the driver said he'd come back with, and he did, while I was still eating hot pizza. Great overall service and top delivery guy.

Terrible customer service. Issues with online ordering and so I rang the shop, spoke to someone who literally could not care less and didn't even attempt to help.

Online delivery failed but they took the money, tried to speak to the store but they were as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Won’t be ordering again!

Had a pizza delivered - 75 minutes waiting for the most terrible pizza, with doughnuty sweet crust, less to none tomato souce and rotten ham with a funny smell - way far from a pizza taste! Will never order there!!!

For quite a long time Papa Johns was my favourite for pizza. It was always a 10/10 but I have to admit that for a few months the quality has been getting worse and the length of delivery time has been increasing. After today, following a one hour wait and phone call to the store, the food was cold and the buffalo wings were clearly just plain wings smothered with sauce, also cold. It was a total waste of money. Aylesbury Papa Johns is only getting worse and worse and needs to get a grip as this will only lead to losing business irreparably.

Arrived late and cold, had many a pizza from her before and tonight was the worst. Didn’t even receive the ice cream

Delivery took 40 minutes which isn't impressive, pizza was warmish and wasn't cut very well.

Ordered on the app at 1pm but it didn’t state that the restaurant was shut until 3pm so had to wait till 3pm and came into their shop personally to get it.

Placed a take away order. Checked the app for details, however the food arrived 25 minutes after what the app said. I called and was told the food left 4 minutes ago, which was 20 minutes after it said it was delivered. Good cold. Poor service all round and won’t be back. The app is always wrong but I’ve cold food is unacceptable, and not good value. Avoid is my advice

My order didn’t arrive…!!! Second time in 2 days…!!!

This is the 3rd time I order an food is at least 25 minutes late. This is very frustrating as food shows as delivered

Whoever cut up the pizza must have smoked a lot of illicit substances.

Best delivery and service we have had for a while. All food was piping hot and delicious as normal. Pizza could of been cut better

Chicken was put in my vegan meal. They expected me to return to the shop to fix this. I was insulted down the phone and spoken to rudely. Do NOT go here if you have any dietary need. (Or expect cleanliness. I saw the cashier with his feet up on the side today. I was going to let it slide till you were rude to me when I said I was upset that you snuck chicken in my food, management can please check cctv) I am upset by this disgraceful contamination. I expect action on this.

The food was cold because it was late.

Pizza was just coming out of oven when I arrived for collection. Nice food. Won't return unfortunately as they won't deliver to Wendover and when ever I go in that area there's nowhere to park, it's chaos up there! Car's are everywhere!

Terrible pizza with almost 1.5 hour delivery time.

App said it was delivered. Meant to arrive by 6.15pm actually arrived at 6.50pm. Food was cold and pizza low on cheese and sauce. What's going on? I moved away from Dominos because of these same issues.

Food was good as normal. App said it was delivered but it wasn’t. Phoned papa John chasing they apologised said they were very busy. It’s very unusual as our deliveries are always early. It hasn’t put us off from ordering again from them. There food is excellent

If there was 0 star I would put ordered twice now and pizza has come stale and freezing cold where it’s been sitting under the heater for ages before getting delivered !! When u call and complain the response is sorry we was busy We can send u another one but a hour wait wen I’ve waited over a hour !! that’s not my problem get more staff and drivers !! Pizza has been sent back twice and not yet revived a refund customer service is shocking aswell AVOID this franchise at all cost

Cauliflower wings were awful and so was the dough balls. Pizza looked like it was from frozen and anaemic. Dough was chewy and toppings tasted dead. Garlic dip tastes like cheap margarine. Never ordering from here again it’s gone downhill.

Food was good jalapeno bites taste so much better but was unavailable to order.

Order arrived 20 minutes later than the outside estimated time (not 5 minutes which is all Just Eat will let me select) so was delivered at 17:57 and not very warm - delivery window was 17:15-17:35. Papa John’s consistently deliver late, so if you’re not that hungry, you should be fine. Pizza was only just warm probably caused by the delay in delivering. I only order from them because of the vegan options but would rather make myself a salad from now on!

The pizzas were ok. Nothing special. I expected more meat on the all meat pizza. They were just ok.

I’m sure the traffic was to blame as it’s awful in Aylesbury around the time I ordered it.

Ben & Jerry ice cream had been opened and used. No seal on carton. Potato Tots were cold. Very disappointed as have always been pleased with food from Papa John’s. I expect a full refund for the ice cream.

The food was great but the delivery driver did not have my drink or 4 x extra dips that I ordered. He told me he would come back with them but he didn't come back at all. Disappointed

Not as good as it should be. The pizzas are okay, but not the usual quality you'd expect from Papa John elsewhere. The dough was quite stoggy. The whole order was only warm when arriving so everything tasted a little stale. The pizza and sides arrived in about an hour but as they set orders as 'delivered' about 20-25 minutes before actually delivering it, it makes it difficult to know when it will arrive. I assume this is to fake that they've hit their targets to head office. A real shame but I'll probably head to Pizza Hut or Domino's next time.

Ordered deep pan, was delivered thin, the garlic sauce should be re-named as butter sauce (as its just like runny butter, no garlic taste at all) the bbq chicken wings were absolutely swimming in some sort of disgusting sauce (which was cold & can only assume it was suppose to be bbq sauce) - they were inedible, definitely will not be ordering again.

The pizza was original crust instead of the ordered thin crust, delivery estimate was 40-60 minutes, was delivered after 70 minutes.

50 quid for 2 pizzas that fit into your palm. Literally fit into your palm. Half of it was just crust. They dont advertise the size and weight on porpouse

Left a note for the driver to call/text when at the door. That was ignored. Food was passed to a house mate and is now ice cold. Notes are there for a reason, if i had an allergy it would have been ignored. Not ordering from here again first and last time.

Very expensive and really not worth it. Pizza was late, didn’t come with the dips I had ordered and paid for. Also didn’t come with my ice cream. Driver had to go back to store and returned 40mins later.

I ordered at around 18:15 they said 19:30 is when I will most likely get my food it was late because they didn’t start preparing me food at 19:30 so I waited another hour to the time they estimated I was disappointed
