Would give zero stars if I could for service. Complete chaos. I don't entirely blame the staff as the management or lack of is the real problem. Staff desperately in need of training and organising. Would suggest it is avoided until the problems are addressed.

Need to clean the chairs they are filthy

Service very slow, coffee almost undrinkable.

1st visit here for breakfast. Service very slow. Waitress didn't look very happy but pleasant. Had scrambled eggs, made in a microwave with no seasoning at all, very bland. Husband had full English which he said was ok but beans looked very dry. Toast cold on both plates. Toilets disgusting, smelly and dirty. Won't be coming back.

Don’t sit within 10 yards of the toilets as the smell is overwhelming. Scones inedible. Tables not cleared. Long walk through garden centre to restaurant.

Terrible experience. The toilets were filthy and smelled foul, even from the café. The lady who served us was kind and apologetic, but food took a long time and each item had several issues. One roast pork sandwich requested without spread came with it, and the replacement was the same pork chucked in new bread covered in the spread. We said not to bother bringing a 3rd time and opted for it to be taken off the bill.

The air-conditioning was set too low which made it very uncomfortable, mentioned to the waitress who smiled and did nothing.

If you've got two hours to kill for average food served on dirty plates, in a place that smells terrible with disgusting toilets and a system that can mess up the simplest of orders, go for it

Went for coffee and cake. Flat white coffee was very nice, blueberry cake good as well. Used the disabled toilet and noticed that it was in a very poor state and not very clean, could do with a revamp.

Like most garden centres a café and kids safe play area is essential. This was a busy day but safe were calm and friendly whilst cleaning and clearing tables at a pace, I am not local but met family members with kids, a good time was had by all, excellent

They changed the service they now give. The place was very busy . There wasn't much choice of sandwiches 😕 long queues of people waiting to be serviced. It was much nicer before they made the changes. Won't be running back there because I wasn't that bothered about the restaurant part. The flowers and plants were lovely.

Slowest service I have ever had for a pot of tea. Place was very untidy, nearly all tables had discarded crockery from previous guests eho had already left.

Lovely garden centre. Good plant deals. There is plenty of room in the dining area.

Food came before our drinks. Drinks all came at different times and had to remind them of drinks missing. Cakes were a lot less tasty than they looked. Very over priced for a poor experience. Will not be returning

Very poor bangers and mash. The broccoli was yellow and quality of the sausages was very disappointing, especially given that there is an artisanal butchers on site and another opposite at King's Farm Shop, which I can highly recommend.

Coffee was cold. Staff just topped it with warm milk. Tables were left with dirty cups

We had a long wait to get our drinks and had to clear a table ourselves to be able to sit down, so not great.

Way overpriced, especially the cake, which was your typical Costco / cash and carry quality, about an inch thick at the wide end… Why £3.99 a slice, when I had to wait 20 mins for service, and the cutlery and glasses were dirty. Delusional pricing in my opinion. Also the toilets look like something out of a horror movie. If the money isn’t going on food quality, staffing or cleanliness, then where is it going?

Over priced cake..service was soooo slow..only 4 people in front of me..took 15minsto get served. Service poor. Cup saucer and milk jug not clean. Very.poor. not impressed.

Went to use my Dobbies voucher for free cake and coffee for my birthday. My coffee cake and coffee was delicious but my wife had cheese scone and coffee. Her coffee was fine but cheese scone dry with a cake like texture and only had cheese on the top.

Terrible service. A ridiculously long wait. They never seem to have enough staff for the amount of people there. No pre-made dairy free sandwiches for children’s lunches. After waiting 25 mins I left without the sandwich and my son went without.

Food is alright but the service is poor and rude, making it hard to justify proper restaurant prices.

Come here once a month on avarage. Food is fine. Services has room for improvement, but not horrendous. Toilets could be cleaner and handwash dispensers are nearly alway empty. Nice cakes

Restaurant is full of dogs barking loudly, running up to you uninvited and smelling quite bad. Not really the environment you want when trying to eat.

Toilet is awful, they need a serious deep clean

Rainy morning with my daughter in law and grandchildren. Had drinks and cake. The Q was so long by 10.15 no chance of another drink. Dobbies must be loosing so much money in this resturant. Such a popular place, due to soft play as well. More staff are needed to run this efficiently.

It's a nice restaurant with a good selection of cakes. The adjacent soft play is great for the kids and it's dog friendly too!

Queued for 20 minites just to be told 80% of the menu has sold out a whole hour before the item I wanted was supposed to stop being sold.

Have been coming here many times over the years and it's just going down hill sadly. Used to love going to World's end but Dobbies have not done well taking it over. Today went in at 3pm to be told they have decided to shut earlier, without warning or any information on the door. Walked in and waited 5mins for someone to serve to be told they are shut. We had come especially meeting up with family and ended up having to just leave. Just bad service!

Very busy and very clearly short staffed. The poor woman were run off their feet.

Lovely food , brilliant friendly service, an All round Lovely place for lunch , or just a coffee and a catch up.

Glorious time spent in an extended lunch enjoying the air conditioning 😄

The food was extremely quick and tasty. I would recommend the bacon, Brie and cranberry toasty. The portion sizes are good too, which I found surprising as I’d ordered a side of chips (also good) but couldn’t finish it all. The staff were very attentive, the service was quick and friendly.

Very pleased with the covid 19 set up in this restaurant. Staff meet you at the door and seat you. Large building with excellent toilets. Staff are very helpful and well trained. Food is pleasant although some things like chips are out of a packet, but they don't hide that on the menu. Overall very clean and tidy and not overpriced compared to other garden centres. Worth a visit with friends for a cup of tea and a bite.

Bit overbearing with the whole Covid track and trace. Shame. Rather spoiled the whole experience
