Wimpy in Rochford

Ordered a double 1/4 pounder, got a single one.

Tried a wimpy breakfast muffin for the first time and was definitely the best one I've had! cooked really well and so much flavour 10/10

We take our grandson,s here when they are over, they enjoyed their meal 👍.

Loved it. Great menu quick and friendly service. It has been my childhood favorite burger restaurant and hasn't changed which is a good thing.

you forgot my chicken strips and put ketchup in my burger when i said no sauce so i couldnt actually eat any of the food i ordered, please give me my money back

had a late morning walk in london with coffee and cake so wasn't hungry until i got back to rayleigh but was by the time i got there and didn't want to wait until i maid it home to get something so popped in winpy, they weren't too busy, sat and looked at menu, ordered not long after and food was quick to arrive nice and freshly cooked

food was cold and only 1 portion of chips delivered 1 drink missing

Our favourite wimpy! The kids love eating here and the service is fantastic.

A very special place that has changed little since the 1970s. Better quality than the fast food chains with iconic dishes like the international grill..

As seasoned Wimpy eaters, we really like what they have done with this particular restaurant. The food and service are very good and the whole experience, apart from noisy groups occasionally, is excellent. Good luck to them.

Chips were cold and undercooked, the burgers were flavourless, for £20 will not order again

Food was barely warm, chips were soggy and burgers were squashed. Also my drink got spilt so the driver threw it away so I didn’t get my drink

First time visiting for about 18 months and place was busier than I have ever seen it. Menu items had changed slightly-renamed mostly. Great service, food and friendly staff. Missed this place!

I visited this restaurant this evening and they over charged me by £10 everyone better check there bill before leaving here

Almost half the size they used to be and almost tasteless. Ordered 2 sausage and egg muffins, one of the buns is so stale its barely chewable, took one bite of each but throwing them away !

Still great, been going for 40+ years. New owners and staff are keeping up the high standards of food, customer service and cleanliness.

Random visit to this particular Wimpy was actually heading out of Rayleigh and was planning on stopping in at Benfleet Wimpy but followed sat nav and brought me here by mistake, but i must say service and food was amazing!! Very polite and friendly staff very welcoming and accommodating! Best visit to a wimpy in a long time! Definitely be back for sure.

Food from Wimpy was excellent as always however I had ordered an additional bendy sausage on top of my burger that was missing. Not a huge problem but it cost me an additional £3.95

A random visit to the Wimpey in Rayleigh with my 89 year old mum was a wise move and her first visit ever to Wimpey ..She had the fish and chips and loved it and I had the double quarter pounder with cheese and chips ! It was such a lovely surprise when our meal turned up hot fresh and looking exactly like the picture on the menu from which we had chosen.. the staff were friendly and efficient and the food cooked to perfection .. the restaurant was immaculately clean and welcoming.. Elise and Ali couldn’t have been more attentive and efficient if they tried .. Wimpey Rayleigh you deserve your 5 star review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we will be back .. Thankyou from Jane and Marian Crosland

Always enjoy a Wimpy, brings back childhood memories. This is a good one with great food, fast service and always a friendly welcome. (Cheaper to order in person than to use an app, I saved about 10%)

Long established location for Wimpy, very friendly staff when we visited, food was good and it had plenty of seating and a good atmosphere, was nice and relaxed

I had a quarter pounder with cheeses meal. Drink and fries were all good but the burger was only slightly hot, very flat and imp looking due to no real lettuce/ tomato etc. filling and the sauce was practically non existent. Not like the Wimpy I remember the last time I ordered one. Best to eat in.

Put burger sauce on, when i had specifically asked for it to be taken out. Ordered two vanilla milkshakes, only to be given one that was chocolate. The onion rings were cold, so overall not a great experience.

Ordered double quarter pounder with cheese, chips and a Pepsi..... received a sausage in a roll and sweet potato fries...they got the Pepsi correct??? Couldn't phone the restaurant as they wouldn't answer the phone....Don't bother with this Wimpy.. they have no clue!

Most Thursday evenings we take my daughter to Wimpy after her dance class and she loves it. Service is all great and the burgers are great. Love the milkshakes too.

It was delivered within 15 minutes. The bun was soggy. And not a bad criticism but no straw with the drink

Not many of these old English burger joints about now. Long may it last. Love a whimpy reminds me when I was a child and my mum didn't like McDonald's as you eat with your hands. Food in this one is top notch, owner, his sone and all the staff so friendly and welcoming. Food always cooked fresh to order, and piping hot. Love it.

Wimpy is a national treasure in my opinion. I grew up frequenting my local Wimpy on weekends as a boy and have tried various Wimpys. This particular Wimpy is always an exceptional experience compared to others I have been to. The food is cooked well, with generous portions; service is always quick, but you're not rushed out of the door, and the staff are always very pleasant. Thumbs up from me 👍
