Visited garden centre (or should I antiques centre - not the amount of value plants that were here a few years ago) whilst passing and stopped for lunch at Blossom Cafe. Sat outdoors in nice courtyard area. COVID awareness signs etc in place. However we had to ask for the table to be cleaned once we had sat down. I would have expected this to be done once previous customer had vacated. Teas brought out fairly quickly but had to wait over half an hour for food as did a few others seated near us. When food did arrive, no apology for lateness. The food itself however was very good we both had paninis’ with crisps and salad. Reasonably priced would visit again but feel they need to up their game with COVID restrictions a little more.

Visited centre and decided to have lunch.I had a turkey beget and it was not very nice. The bread was very soft and doey and the contents were tasteless and dry. Both my mother and I had crisps on our plates and these were passed there best, not nice.Very disappointed as they were not cheap.

We both chose a Brie, bacon and cranberry toasted sandwich. The sandwich was toasted on one side only and the contents were barely warm and the cranberry dolloped at one end only. This was all very disappointing bearing in mind that each sandwich cost £7.25. The salad garnish was limp and the crisps were stale. Really poor!

We have been here for breakfast and lunch on a number of occasions and not been disappointed. The staff are lovely and it's also dog friendly, what's not to like. Love the cakes too so also a good meeting place for coffee.

We used to be very great fans of this garden centre, mainly on account of its very keen prices and abundant sales and special offers. The group of which it was a part failed, regrettably, (perhaps partly because of that very keen pricing) and the centre has now, for us, somewhat lost its USP. It really does need a bit of an edge with a massive and highly successful neighbour in Frosts, just down the road. It seems still to be trying to find its niche, but it does however have an interesting antique/vintage shop on the premises, which helps.

We had afternoon tea today at willington garden centre frosts We where given choice of tea or coffee but not given a choice of teas, the milk had black specks in and had to be sent back, Three small finger sandwiches each chicken ,egg, and smoked salmon, the tiniest scones I’ve ever seen and should have been called rock cakes so hard they would break your teeth, a selection of small cakes also two posh names savoury tarts basically to tiny quiche’s and two pieces of garlic bread with some sun dried tomatoes on, at £17.95 per person it is very poor value and looks nothing like the posters they display advertising this experience especially the scones which look 3 times the size on the posters We have had much better afternoon tea elsewhere

Called here for lunch a week ago on a Monday. Pleasantly surprised at variety of choice for either breakfast, lunch or snack. Staff very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere welcoming. Prices reasonable for a really nice meal. Will be using this cafe in future - above others in the near area which have sadly gone down enormously.

A lovely place to eat. Nice sandwiches cakes & coffee, tables kept clean & tidy, nice outdoor seating with a big pond with lots of fish to watch. My only criticism is it’s a little on the expensive side.

Perfectly adequate but not a destination of choice. Handy for a break during serious garden planning an shopping but not somewhere to deviate to.

Good variety and stock of plants, good sale on plant pots which is what I went for. helpful staff, we had a look in the sale area of the sorry plants that needed love and attention and came away with a very good deal on a box hedge that had been cut, which would have taken years to grow. Gave it a good watering and nurturing in a pot at the moment till ready to be planted out, looking healthy, so a good bargain.

A wonderful place to completely disconnect from everyday life. Cloverdale Retreat is the kind of spot you visit once and instantly want to come back to. Peace, quiet, and closeness to nature – everything here creates an atmosphere that truly lets you reset. The cabins are very well equipped – clean, comfortable, and cozy. You can tell the owners put their heart into this place. There are thoughtful little touches that make a difference – soft blankets, warm lighting, fresh-smelling bedding, and even local products in the kitchen. The surroundings are stunning – perfect for walks, morning coffee on the terrace, or evenings by the fire. We were lucky with the weather, and the night sky was incredible – we could even see the Milky Way. The service was lovely, very helpful but never intrusive – exactly how it should be. I genuinely felt like a guest who was being taken care of. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort with nature, far from the noise of everyday life, I absolutely recommend Cloverdale Retreat. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or some peaceful time off the grid.

I have always had a pleasant experience in this Costa Coffee. The staff have always been pleasant. They seem to always be busy when I go but seem to cope with calmness. I do get what I asked for and enjoy sitting and chilling with my extra hot Oat Chai Latte.. Mmmmmmm... and a cheeky cake.... but resisted today

The staff was helpful and friendly. Very clean. The music was not too loud. The cocktails were very good. A nice place to spend a couple of hours and have some drinks
