Place is empty. How Premier Inn can charge for a meal deal and still close the kitchen at 1915. Was promised my STARTER in 45 mins, no show an hour later. Just apologies, nothing positive. Staff not helpful at all. I have travelled a decent way, no food. Advertised as closed, but it is open, barely. Not even a Beefeater or Brewers Fayre, just a failing pub. Not happy, and still hungry. Only given a 1 star as I don't think I can give a zero.

This place needs a huge makeover. It's so tired and the food is pretty unappetising. The breakfast was not worth the Premier Inn costs. Visited for business and after the first night and morning of staying, I decided to get a meal deal from Tesco for the remaining 3 nights of my stay.

The food here was lovely!! You HAVE to try the trio of pies, lovely grub! I've given 3 stars for atmosphere, the staff were really nice but some of the diners were right miserable gits. Shame the kids playground outside was shut down or else it would have been fab!

It's OK. Odd that it closes so early. Very limited menu. Food was OK, service was good. Nice outside seating area.

First time here, had a great meal the spicy wings were 10/10. The smothered platter was 10/10 and the bonnofee cheese cake was great will definitely be back.

Standard premier inn breakfast, nothing special, soggy hash browns, staff all lovely Place is falling apart, gives off a pub on a council estate vibes with cobwebs everywhere, awful furniture and toilet seats that have seen more cocaine than Kerry Katonas

Love this place. Food good staff great nothing is too much trouble. Shame they're closing in July. Our Sunday lunches won't be the same without them.

Convenient location with plenty of parking and spacious lay-out. Serve yourself breakfast popular with good range of cereals, juices, hot drinks and cooked food; the last is regularly replenished rather than sitting there for ages. Staff efficient, helpful and friendly. Shame there is no longer children's play area outside

We're organizing a funeral and needed somewhere to decompress. This brewer's fayre is attached to the premier inn we were staying at . The food was standard brewers fayre, though it seemed better , the staff were , for the most part , helpful and approachable, the breakfast staff were busy and, while we were there , organizing for groups . A fox wandered past through the gates and out to the remains of the barracks .

Tracy was lovely in the carvery very friendly.. and the guy behind the bar was very nice too ..pleasure to come into for sunday lunch. look forward to the next time

Nice meal. Staff all nice. Not rushed was a nice atmosphere not crowed. Could talk and relax when eating. Enjoyed time there would say a good place to go to a meal and a drink on an evening out with friends and family.

The staff didn't seem to wanna be there. Very unfriendly, I had a smothered platter, the onion rings could have been used as a hammer, all the meat was cold. The only warm thing on the plate was the Coleslaw. Would understand if it was busy there but it was dead.

A very good deal-2 mains for £11.45 and excellent food. As the restaurant was almost empty, our group stayed chatting well after we had finished our meals. The service was good with a very pleasant waitress. I had gammon steak which isn't listed.

I know it’s a carvery but for the food to be cold, had to ask for it to be warmed up in the oven.

Absolutely rubbish food and service

I don't even know where to start. Today I experienced quite possibly the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Firstly, when arriving the service from the lady was absolutely terrible, I had booked a table, the table was not ready and they did not have any idea what to do and she questioned me regarding why we needed a large table. Then we had a high chair which was completely filthy and the straps were sticky and stained beyond belief. Finally, we were there for an all you can eat breakfast where next to nothing was available, there were no pastries, there were no beans and no juice. It took forever for food to come out and when it did it was extremely limited meaning most of us did not eat. This restaurant is an absolute sham and I will never be revisiting.

Thought we would give them another chance since our last visit in which we had to wait over a hour for food nothing has changed went last night 10 th Feb 2024 nothing has changed waited for 1 hour 10 minutes no food got a refund and walked out never again so beware when you go you will have to wait

8 years I have been staying having breakfast and an odd meal here, and the place needs better cleaning, carpets, and chairs replacing.

Waited 1.5 hours for food, they forgot the starters and then everyone in the kitchen went home before doing our desserts, absolutely appalling. Will not visit again.

Avoid! Tolerated the substandard food due to its proximity to primary Inn; however, after a 1 hour 20 minute wait for a simple meal, I'd rather make do with a Tesco meal deal. Under staffed, tables need a good clean and overpriced.

Lack of staff!! I lady had to do everything. Batter on fish was under cooked but it was really hot, which was good .......

Had a minor altercation in the car park with my car and a disabled blue badge pole. Staff came straight out along with members of the public' All very helpful. Thank you.

Terrible slow service...never go there again...waited ages for food...same goes for other customers...it was a quiet evening too! However food was good!

Had dinner here with a group. It would have been great if we all got our meals at the same time.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Willlems Park, Aldershot, The only thing wrong was that the waiting staff had to be asked to remove our dirty plates, after the main course. 😔

We had a lovely all you can eat breakfast this morning, the service was lovely, thanks to Jamie, who made us feel very welcome, and assured me of my dietary requirements.

Interior bit tired seating bit worn, staff busy , should have more staff on, vegetables needed cooking more ie Brussels parsnip gravy bit hotter , value ok

Breakfast, served buffet, is well worth the money if taking 2 kids as they eat free with adults.

You know what! It wasn't bad. Hadn't been to the brewers fayre in a long time as I recall it was pretty awful back in the day. On this occasion however I was pretty happy generally. Was informed when we arrived that they had some staffing issues - pretty standard these days in hospitality - besides that we didn't have to wait too long and the food was decent. Might even go again one day 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not very many customers in ,but bar service was slow

This was one of the worst meals I have had. Ordering at the bar took quite a while even though it was not very busy. Then we waited nearly an hour for our starters. When it arrived, one was cold and congealed, and my "toasted malted bread" was one slice of cheap white bread, not toasted at all. We did send back the cold dish but I was too hungry to change mine. My balsamic onion confit was so sweet that I ended up leaving most of it. After another half hour the mains finally arrived. I had to look at the menu to identify my side dish as roast potatoes. They were soft, oily, brown lumps and when cut, were brown most of the way through. I managed one before I gave up. The mushrooms were quite odd tasting and there was only a very small amount of spinach hiding under the steak (which was okay). Luckily one friends salmon was okay but the others with me were quite disappointed. We shall not visit again.

If you are in a hurry, go somewhere else, lack of staff mean uou will wait an age to get your food

If the service was any slower, you'd be into the next day, not impressed at all.

Seemed very short of waiting staff resulting in delays both serving and delivery. However, the staff were apologetic and polite. Food of decent quality for the price.

Thought we would try it as the 3 other places we tried didn't have availability. Told on arrival it would be about 45mins for food which is livable although many empty tables so would hate to think how long if busy. Went to the bar to order food menu in hand to make sure we ordered correct food to be served by a rather rude woman who seemed she didn't want to be there, very abrupt and when serving the drinks corrected herself due to the way she spoke to us and went on to huff and say she can't do this anymore. We ordered smothered platter which comes with a small steak some places as how you want it cooked ,some don't as it's just a small 4oz steak she didn't ask and due to her attitude decided best not to bother. Started arrived crispy potato dippers covered in mozzarella, cheddar,bacon and onion I think they mis understood the COVERED bit more like 4 bits of bacon and a spoon full of cheese covering about 5 of the 20pcs but the potatoes were nice so acceptable. Waited another 15mins for the mains to arrive which was smothered chicken not the smothered PLATTERS which had been ordered so told the waiter who then took it back to the kitchen. After a chat with the woman that took our order he returned with a copy of the receipt said that's what you ordered she would have asked you how you wanted your steak cooked if you ordered the platter. Being hungry and knowing it was going to probably take half an hour for them to cook what we asked for even if they had accepted they were wrong we said just give it to us we will eat it. All meals were over cooked end not nice , considering their prices are quite high for the style of food offered and how busy they claimed to be I would have expected under cooked food if anything rushing to get it out. It filled a gap but won't be back.

We were originally planning on purchasing evening meals here however were shocked at how expensive it was. After discovering this, we ended up settling on a Sharing Starter Platter which was £11.99 on its own, alongside four half pint soft drinks at £3 each! Service was absurdly slow, everybody had finished their drinks before the meal had even arrived. 20 minutes after ordering our starter, we received deep fat fried onion rings, Mac and cheese bites, garlic bread, mushrooms + dipping sauce. I must admit, the sauce was probably the best value for money item within our meal!! 20 minutes waiting time and unsatisfactory amount of food. Mind you, we were not expecting too much, being only a starter. But this was barely enough for a 10 year old before their microwaved burger... Not happy customers!!

Omg knew we were coming as booked get told think I can find you a table to start Repeatedly no plates nothing for continental breakfast which I wanted so went to do drinks no mugs ! My friends queued for breakfast I went to get mine no scrambled egg no beans no sausages no bacon there were fried eggs a plenty what did they restock fried eggs my friends had eaten by the time I arrived back at the table . Definitely needs addressing

Poor poor thats all i can say we booked in for 3.30 there was empty tables nobody come to tell us we could be seated early we sat in waiting from 2.30 went to carvery got the smallest bit of beef a scrap end you would give your dog nothing left to eat hardly the other 3 people with us waited 45 minuites for there food wont be returning here again

We had a terrible experience for those with dietary needs and gluten intolerance.

We meet up for a reunion was nice to be able to help our self for beverage enjoyed my beef dinner the only let down they ran out of chocolate but had a nice cup of tea milk was warm on the whole it was OK 👍

Went here for dinner as was staying in the Premier Inn next door it was a waste a Of money my beef and ale pie was rock solid the filling look like minced up dog food and the mash was not even potatoes my girlfriends chips were stale as if they had been sat there for hours we were really disappointed the place looked let down and staff need to learn some customer service,we was going to return for breakfast tomorrow but definitely won't be now.

Very disappointed with some of the food we had today. The steak was very dry and the batter on the fish was so thick I think to hide the missing fish that shoukd have been in there.

Been here a couple of times. The Sunday roast is well cooked and enjoyable. The lady's toilets are filthy are smells badly. My partner had his card cloned here so be careful

Really enjoyed my stay. The bar was busy but staff did a good job keeping ontop of things. Food came out in a timely manor. Your usual pub grub and drinks cant go wrong

A beautiful establishment on the outskirts of Aldershot. The staff are all so friendly and greet you with a welcoming smile. I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie the manager who took the time to give me some nice areas to visit during my stay and seemed to go above and beyond to ensure his customers were all happy. Brilliant place that offers great food, a decently priced pint and offers the ability to hold venues. Would recommend highly to anyone passing to pop in and say “Hi”

Absolutely shocking service ⁶would not waste time and money here. Waited almost an hour for our food when not even that busy. Ordered 2 mixed grills with extra rump steak both blue. Food turned up only one steak was the extra rump when questioned not even an apology given was just given a short sharp response only 1 has been paid for I can get you the ticket to prove it no attempt to rectify servers mistake. My steak was half the size of what I ordered and was very well done not a glimpse of pink when it was ordered blue the other was medium not blue. Onion rings were missing on both and in general food was not great. Will not be returning mainly for complete lack of remorse shown

Food was very poor most of it was burnt need staff that can cook place has gone down hill really bad I paid £80 for 4 kids and 3 adults waste of money won't be going there again

This restaurant is in a terrible condition the carpet in some areas is absolutely filthy. Went here with a friend for a catch-up and the service was awful! We had garlic mushrooms which were so over cooked that you could bang them on the table they were rock hard. We waited ages for the mains to arrive and when they did the waitress had to juggle removing the dirty starter plates in order to put down the new dishes. I had a mixed grill which was over cooked the steak was well done I’d asked for medium rare, the gammon was dry and salty and the chicken was so over cooked it was even difficult to cut with a steak knife. The only edible food on the plate was the sausages and eggs. My friends burger was rock hard and dry. At no point in the evening did any member of staff check if the food was ok! My plate was virtually full of uneaten food which sat in front of me for nearly an hour. Eventually a lady appeared and removed the plates she never asked how the food was nor asked if we wanted a dessert or coffee. The restaurant was not particularly busy and by the time our plates were cleared the section we were in was empty. We will not be returning ever again.. this restaurant offers bad food and shocking customer service!

A large group of us 10-15 stay at the neighbouring Premier Inn hotel for work 3-4 times a year. Tonight the service was particularly poor. Our food took 90 minutes to arrive the reason(s) given for this - it is hot in the kitchen, we are working as fast as we can, we are very busy, lots of large tables were all booked in at the same time. Whitbread decided to give discounts on food this weekend. Not sure how this was my fault or problem. All we wanted was someone to provide us with an update every so often - not excuses. Perhaps do not take the bookings if you cannot deliver the food. Thank you for the 25% discount.

Biggest problem was cleaning. My t-shirt kept sticking to the back of the chair. It was that dirty. I look down to find somebody's discarded pizza. Probably one of the dirtiest associated with the premier Inn I've been to and I've been to lots. The staff were ok but there's just weren't enough of them. I think the manager was doing the cooking, hence the one star for the food. I think it's just one more example of peeling back staff to enhanced profits and then failing miserably.

Staff should not be working here if unhappy have never seen such miserable staff in a pub in all my 60 years 😖

Restaurant practically empty. Service very slow for main meals and had to ask for our desserts. With 2 young children, thisxwas not ideal. Staff polite and friendly. Toilets out of order for females ...a long walk to other toilets as disabled.

Food was not to bad but the doom bar beer was really bad

Although not much to look at from the outside, the interior was very good. We had a very warm welcome from the barman, he was amazing, he seemed to be doing most things apart from cooking. He brought our meals, cleared the table and generally did everything he could. Well done that man. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely Dreadful . Onion rings burnt ,Food cold , after an hours wait , microwaved to heat up but at least it was warm - Young Lady behind the bar really did not want to be there - ran out of most glasses and was quite surly …. Don’t blame her I think I would be to. The men’s toilets absolutely disgusting apparently. Manager making excuses that the kitchen is busy !!! Yes I’m sure it is of you only have the absolute minimum of staff. Truly NOT ON.

Hated the experience as staff were nowhere to be found. Main meal took 45 minutes to arrive. And dessert ordered of ice cream failed to show. I complained and told its coming, but it did not so they refunded dessert order and made no attempt to help further with elderly relative. Won't be returning there!!

I popped in here for a coffee break. The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. I can quote Hannah and Jamie, both very attentive. I plan to have lunch or dinner on my next visit. Thank you team, makes a huge difference when you are made very welcome. I will be back to try the food, altho I must say the menu does look good

Recently went there for my cousins 80th birthday and paid £280 for buffet food and probably got the best part of £50 worth......even after a complaint we have had no call, message or email back....very poor as hardly enough food to go round!!!

My friends and I reserved a table I ordered rump steak 🥩 I asked for cooked well done I got my steak rare chips and peas were cold I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant not on a Saturday evening the staff can’t cope if there is to many in the restaurant!! and definitely not listening to my request asking for my steak well done!! that’s why I gave 1 star ⭐️ I definitely won’t be returning unless they got a new chef and experienced staff.

Average Pub experience. Food can be hit or miss. But lovely beer garden

Easter Sunday carvery, excellent service. The chef was very friendly and went the extra mile for us. We were a large party of 16+ and I have to say it was the best yet at brewers fayre. Thank you.

Had premier inn breakfast as staying in hotel next door. It was the worst I ever had. All hot food was took hard. Looked like it's been there for a long time and many items missing. They did have toasted muffins but they were so hard it was too hard to eat. I stay at many premier inns and usually look forward yo breakfast. Not this time. Staff kept walking past and looking at food that was not good. Such a shame

Quick stop off for lunch with the children. Good menu is reasonably priced, and the place was quite empty so this was good for us. Thanks for the food. Cob salad and 2 kids menu.

Brewers fayre is 'cheap and cheerful' our meal was hot and tasty. I had Lasagne-it's not v deep but had a slice of garlic bread and a small side salad-it was nice. Curry looked nice but its a small bowl rice and a popodom. They're not going to fill some people whereas the burgers looked more substantial. Something to keep in mind. It's a good price so not complaining We were a private party and had a room to ourselves which was nice. The pre-ordered meals didn't arrive at the same time so some had finished before others had started - but it was fine for us as we just chatted away! The staff were friendly and couldn't be any more helpful. We would return.

Used to come here every Sunday for lunch and it was always nice before covid but not today dont bothered get a king plate but it makes no difference roast potatoes are frozen,meat was fatty and the gravy was cold.
