Decent food, a bit pricey for what it is, drinks are overpriced. Clean and easily accessed

We turned up early for our reservation but was seated immediately. Drinks came I ordered a coke zero my partner had a pint, my coke zero was served out of a glass bottle but when I tasted it just tasted like soda water I pulled the waitress up to tell her about my drink but she said it was sugar free so that's why it tasted like that. I ordered another coke zero from a different waiter and when it came I told him the problem he said sorry and said he would take off our bill which never happened and they forgot part of our food. I would also have to agree with a previous comment on the good being microwaved as it was far to hot. Would not come again based on this experience.

The restaurant is elegantly designed, every table was beautiful. The atmosphere was perfect and the servers were delightful. They updated my order to vegan cheese to allow for my allergy with no issues. The food was amazing

I had the vegan baked aubergine and I really couldn’t tell you for certain if it was baked or just left out on the side for two days to go off. Sprinkled on top were mixed grains that literally store bore the shape of PACKET they came out of. I don’t go to a restaurant to eat food out of a packet that costs 99p at a supermarket!!

Beautiful food, amazing staff and all at a reasonable price.

Someone elses order was delivered. I spoke to wildwood and the wife drove me over to swap the order that was delivered for the correct one.

Megan was amazing from start to finish. Food was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit A++++

Wild wood is good place to eat from I just wish just eat would get my food to me on time because of this it’s not cold asf and the meal what would have been succulent is now dry and cold seriously why me

Pizza stone cold and items missing

Our meal was just warm when it arrived and the chips were chewy. Delivery took over 1 hour 10 mins and our estimated delivery time kept changing

Wouldn't let my 17 year old have a small glass of wine with meal. They said it's against the law. Well it's not and I told them that .they think their company policy overrule the law. Won't be back.

ordered For Delivery, Ordered a cobb salad was half empty, Fries were missing ,Ordered a Garlic bread and it was stone cold . For what i paid for im VERY disappointed. i have eaten in for food and it was lovely, but ordering the food really was disappointing had high hopes! Will not be going or ordering from there again☹️ Rip off for what you pay for, online Quality was Bad Quantity was even worse .

Nice food and ambience, general service sluggish

We had a person serving us called Callum it's was his last night there as he was off elsewhere he was completing training in Telford So glad we got to meet him , he went above and beyond for us . Perfect

Went for dinner with my partner and parents and Brooke went amazingly above and beyond for us and is absolutely amazing

My partner and I ordered the chicken and chorizo risotto, which was delicious. However, the table was a bit unstable, so we had to move. The restaurant seemed busy.

It's way north of average but not amazing. The food was good as was the service ...we don't live near so probs won't be back but would if we lived closer

On a very busy Saturday night after being stuck in traffic for 3 hours our daughter had fallen asleep and would not wake up. Our server Richard made a space on the sofas, moved the wine glasses so no risk to her for her to lay asleep and allow the rest of us to eat which was so appreciated. The food came quickly and looked and tasted great as always. When our son had his chocolate brownie Richard brought one in a takeaway box and told us it was for our daughter tomorrow as a gift from the team So she didn't miss out completely. Such a nice thing to do and to Say she was excited this morning was an understatement. Even the chefs were joining in from the kitchen having fun with our son and gave him his own paper hat do take home. We will be back!

We went for a famiky party last night as a big group with ages ranging from 3 to 72 years old. The food was delicious and we were served by Richard. He was so funny full of banter and the way he had such a laugh with the older ladies in our group and being rather cheeky but in a funny way we couldn't help but laugh so hard. When it came. To. The birthday cake he had everyone singing with us and most of the restaurant joining in. If your looking for somewhere for a Great night out I highly reccomend it, I'm looking forward to my wife's birthday night here in March now. Thank you Richard and everyone working you were great.

The food here is good, there's a good vegetarian selection too. The times we've been service has always been fast. The only reason I knocked it down to 2 stars is because in the Telford branch some of the tables are very close together and last time we went we were sat so close to the couple next to us that all we could hear was their conversation and we felt like we couldn't speak, then when someone came to sit on the other side of us I had to move my coat and bag onto my lap because there was no where else to put them, but there were plenty of free tables throughout the restaurant so I didn't think there was any need to seat us that close together.

All was okay, the staff were friendly and attentive, so that was very good. Then the bill came, it had 10 percent added on automatically. This is an attempt to scam the unaware or shy customer! I choose what tip and how much to whom. Not a corporate scam. The waitress was very quick to offer to take it off once I noticed. Poor form!

Terrible experience, me & my friend went and both had pasta Friday, both threw up all weekend. In bed with food poisoning and an extremely dodgy stomach all week. We've only both felt better the last few days. I thought the service was terribly slow and the waitress stayed chatting at the bar for a long time while our drinks were on the side waiting. At the time we thought the food was average, but as the weekend slowly and painfully passed. It was a terrible decision. Guess it puts the wild in Wildwood right?

Excellent restaurant with excellent service. The food was excellent. Highly recommended and well worth the visit from the East Midlands.

Great place with good choice of food. Cater for allergies. Even allow vegan cheese on meat pizza due to dairy allergy.

Amazing steak. It was £22.00 but worth every penny. Lovely people also. Check the bill though because they put a service charge on. We was going to leave a tip anyway but they'd already put it on.

Used uber eats 9th jan 2024, photo shown. Utterly disgusting. Steaksandwich was so cold the cheese and fat had hardened to box shape. Delivered 2hrs+ after ordering. Partners meal just as bad. All for £45. Never again.

Overall it was good, but to spend over £100 for mains and desserts was steep considering the seafood linguine had a closed mussel and my sorbet that was rock hard, sad to say I won't be eating here again unless there's improvement.

A lovely restaurant with good selection. When we called in though, Wikdwood Telford was very understaffed and we had to wait far to long. My wife's minute steak was poorly, overdone and my lasagne had no basic salad accompaniment. The starters were equally unspectacular.

Was so rude asked one of us if we could afford the bill and made a comment to her colleagues that we are making the place look a mess because of the way we put our coat to pricey for the staff to be rude one bottle of wine and a cocktail 2 adults meals and half portion meal comes to £120 was a absolute rip off asked for some grated cheese because I don’t like the cheese on my pasta dish and was told not to order something that I wouldn’t like because they don’t have any normal cheese asked a waiter for another drink he took order and never come back so we left Dam right rude will not be coming back there again Ps I’ve run restaurants and pubs and if I caught my staff stood around slagging well paying customers off I would be sacking them RUDE that’s all that can be said

Mine and my fiancé’s favourite takeaway place hands down. The pizza is to die for! Real, Italian pizza!

Great food, the steak was cooked just to my liking and the desert was delicious. Some of our order was incorrect however, one of our vegetarian colleagues was given a meat calzone with chorizo and another meat (pepperoni, I think) which they weren't pleased about. This wasn't charged on the bill however which we were gratetful for. The food took a little while to arrive as well but it was absolutely heaving in there with several large Christmas parties all in at the same time, and the staff were friendly and courteous throughout. I'd like to return with my family next time when it's quieter, but I was really happy with the evening overall.

Place was empty really, although it was Monday night, we are in the run up to Christmas. Works do with precooked Christmas menu ordered. Mains took a long time to follow starter. Sides were even later, when we had finished half our food and we had to repeatedly request them. We still didn't receive all sides. My steak which was at a subsidised cost was cooked very poorly, I know others weren't happy with the quality either, and the sides we did recieve looked very wilted or reheated. I think the staff asked more times if we wanted drinks than if our food was OK. Issues with the desserts too, we were told they had miscounted so didn't have one of the options. Not all other options were available for those who had to pick a different one as they were already allocated to other on our table, so very restricted on choice. General feeling was that with a prebooked menu there certainly shouldn't have been any issues regarding numbers! Luckily were a cheery bunch and stayed for post dinner drinks but definately wouldnt visit again.

*Update* After hearing that the male member of staff was no longer with the company we decided to give Wildwood another try. On arrival we immediately noticed a complete change in the atmosphere compared to previous visits. Atmosphere was warm & welcoming. Staff were all lovely & our food was very good. We will definitely return. Today is the second time that we have stood by the bar & been completely ignored by one member of your staff. The same member of staff each time. Today a female staff member told him that we were at the bar (he was too busy on his mobile to notice us!) Unbelievably he still ignored us & walked to a laptop keeping his back to us! As on the previous occasion that he ignored us we once again left but this time we will never go back!!!

Works Christmas meal, had high hope's but was disappointed. The food took too long to come to table, the starters were small, those served first had finished long before the last servings. Same for the mains which were cold by the time they arrived. Staff were ok, just not enough to service a group. Not sure I'd go again.

Christmas meal with friends, service a bit slow but they were busy so didn't mind , food tasted great, the problem came at the end of evening which spoiled our whole experience, because we were last to leave staff in a rush to close ,was handed bill and was made to pay there and wasn't given time look over the bill, card machine was there waiting ,we paid each on card ,when waitress went away we then looked over the bill which was wrong , in total £23 over charged between the three of us , they did eventually refund us after a lot of discussion no apologies we got the impression they were a bit annoyed because they wanted to get off , also we were charged 10% service charge on the whole bill , which l think is wrong because as a result of what happened would not of paid it. Did spoil our evening, was to be special , lm retiring and our other friend going back to Spain .

Food was bland, except for the salad which was extremely salty. All in all a disappointin meal.

Come here for Lunch. I had the chicken and chorizo risotto and it was perfect! I would have preferred chorizo chunks instead of slices however this did not effect the dish. Everybody else i was with (party of 7) really enjoyed their meal. Unfortunately we were too full for pudding. Iv gone for a 4 for the service because the "service tip" should not be included in your bill. A service tip is a choose for the consumer. We tip on the basis of it we've had a pleasent experience the food was nice etc. However this still wouldn't stop us from coming back.

Just had a coffee and they allowed our dog in if he was quiet and we sat beside the bar area tables. Staff were lovely and so was the coffee.

4/5. Would like to see another veggie burger option rather than just a mushroom melt which is still nice but not really worth the price, should be cheaper however i fully understand you cant please everyone. Pizza's and the caramelised garlic bread are really nice. Only reason its a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the forced 10% tip. I'm sorry but a tip should always be optional, a good chunk of people will feel too mean and embarrassed to ask for it to be removed, this is playing on peoples emotions and guilt tripping them. Why cant you add a yes/no option on the card machine like other places? Tipping culture has no place in the world, customers shouldnt be subsidising poor wages with tips. You know, id rather prices were increased across the board and having tips removed. Tipping for good service has always been ridiculous, call centre agents who provide excellent service dont get tips so why should the food industry.

Visited on 12/10 a party of 8. Lovely warm welcome from staff, table was set up really nicely The starters, mains & desserts were all served at the same time which meant we could all eat together. Staff regularly checked to see if everything was ok and whether we wanted extra drinks Food was lovely & hot, we had a range of meals from the menu which were all delicious, all plates were cleared Will definitely be visiting again

Extremely slow service. Waited thirty minutes for garlic bread to arrive and had to ask several times for water. Ordered the penne arrabiata which was bland with a watery sauce. Overall food quality was poor. Would not recommend.

Great food, great atmosphere and great service 👍

We popped in for an impromptu lunch and were warmly welcomed and took our places near the window. We ordered and whilst waiting for the food took in the lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food came shortly after and wow. My wife had the ceasar salad. You could tell it was freshly prepared with fresh ingredients and seasoned just perfectly. I had the chicken burger which, with the right amount of sauce and seasoning and just right additions, was one of the best I have had. All in all reasonably priced, great setting, wonderful food and friendly service. Will definitely return, a gem of a restaurant. Thank you for a perfect lunch!

Order arrived 2 hours and 15 mins after ordering. Order was freezing cold and pizza soggy and pasta was cold and something you can’t eat cold because had creamy pasta sauce

Our drinks are missing from the order. There are 2 £5 off vouchers but the drinks cost £5.95 each. I will be pursuing a refund. Thanks

Made the wrong choice the sea bass was awful very dry and not much of it, the greens with it not fresh,others with me said the pasta was OK.

Just the two of us for a lunchtime meal. The food was OK, except for a burger that wasn't cooked enough. This was speedily addressed and we enjoyed the meal. However we will not be returning to the wildwood kitchen because a 10% service charge is not something I am comfortable with. I quite happily tip 10% for good service but don't agree with being charged for it.

Hi, I ordered grilled fish and chips. I got dried fish and hard oil burnt chips. I was here last time and I will tell my friends about this experience. I respect others and do not recommend this restaurant.

Had to ask for our fries after a good 10 mins of getting our pizzas. We were told 2 mins and they still hadn't arrived by time we finished. Didn't bother with deserts as hard to get anyone's attention even in a relatively quiet restaurant 🙄. Not enough staff maybe. Won't be returning.

Food was great however service took a long time to get the bill & had to ask a few times for the bill & cheese etc. Place was fully packed with a table of approx 20 sat behind us so was rather loud & far too hot because of too many bodies in a small space.

Lovely staff and a nice feel to the restaurant. The food however was quite disappointing. The carbonara had no taste other than cream and the salad (half pizza half salad) had no dressing so quite difficult to eat half a plate full.

Food was okay, nothing to write home about (small portions). Staff are slow considering it was very quiet.

Food was lovely. Great taste. However the extra chicken that I paid for extra was very minimal with only 4/5 pieces 🤨

A couple of minor points, ordered an ice cream dessert, and came plonked in a small metal bowl (like a caff), no small plate or similar under it, no wafer. Then brought a soup spoon rather than a dessert or even a teaspoon. Ordered a white Americano, milk brought in an expresso cup. As I say, only minor

Drink missed off initial order but this was quickly rectified. Food was cold and we had to send 2 out of the 3 meals back. The meals were returned and brought back slightly warmer but they still weren't hot. We didn't want to return the meals again as the other person in the party had already finished when the meals were returned. Staff were difficult to get hold of unless they were bringing something to the table. We would have liked more drinks but couldn't get hold of a server to get these.

Two meals coming another one after 5 minutes. 2 desserts coming another one after 5 minutes. Waiting to order additional drinks for long time, and then they charge you a service charge for that. I understand good service you can charge but in this case take a pinch of salt and think before adding extra
