Had the nachos, it was ok. Drinks were good.

Enjoyed myself there as the music was super loud and 80s 90s classics. Space between tables so could natter on your table and not hear others convos. Loved that. Cocktails tasty. For two people it was just under £40. I tend not to go to bars anymore and felt comfortable being in my 50s and there.

One of the most attractive café+bar in Margate. This is the Artists hub. All stylish people around. Every single corner of the cafe is Instagramic. Comfortable and cozy inside and relaxing outdoor sittings as well. Try their Spicy Margarita £11 but worth it. Cheers.

We booked a table of 8 people and 2 dogs and the restaurant was very accommodating. The staff were lovely and very attentive to our group. The vibes were immaculate, the playlist was on point. Food was banging too!

Margate has lots of choice these days but this is one of the best. Lovely food, service and atmosphere. We’re local and it’s great to have something like Wildes on our doorstep.

Booked this for a brunch for a hen do of 11 people. Such a lovely atmosphere and great friendly service. We had a coeliac in the group and they were easily able to cater for this! I'll be back next time we're in Margate! Only downside is there is just one toilet so the queues are quite long! If you like espresso martinis I'd recommend their salted version!

It is okay. Food was average, ciabatta was dry = over priced. Hash brown tatter totts came after we had finished eating breaky. Drinks were good, atmosphere is nice, staff friendly-ish.

What an enjoyable place. The staff are so friendly! The decor is beautiful and calming and the atmosphere is a real buzz. They had a delicious plant based option and a wonderful coffee with added rum. Great place to enjoy with friends in the heart of the Old Town.

The barman Lewis made us feel so very welcome, he ensured my whole party was accommodated for on my sisters birthday. She showed great professionalism and was such a friendly face. Would definitely recommend!!!

Wildes is F.U.N. in a nutshell. Fantastic array of cocktails or ‘naughty’ coffees and a delicious all day brunch/lunch menu. It’s a disco-fuelled, uplifting vibe and is the perfect spot for alfresco lunch in the old town. I’ve also hired the venue for a private birthday party (till 1am) and the team went out of their way to turn the space into the ideal vibe for all night dancing. It’s the naughty little sister to the more sophisticated/refined Dukes next door but equally as standout. Fun and friendly team with an emphasis on good service makes for a fabulous experience every time xx

Came here with family and friends and had a lovely Sunday brunch. It was my first time in Margate, and this got us off to a great start. Really nice outdoor seating area and a lovely atmosphere. Scrambled egg on sourdough was good, and the hash brown bites were very moreish. Friendly service, and my hot chocolate with marshmallows was the sugar hit I craved. Would recommend! Thanks!

Literally LOVE this place. And so much so, that I decided to throw my birthday there. From start to finish; Lucas, Joe, Hannah and the team made it so easy and actually enjoyable to organise! Hey there! So, my hubby and I stumbled upon this gem in Margate called Wilds – seriously, how cool is that name, right? Anyway, let me tell you, we had the most amazing time there. Their espresso martinis? Absolute game-changers! The vibe was electric, the music totally on point, and don't even get me started on the interior – stylish doesn't even begin to cover it. Plus, chilling on their terrace with some delicious grub? Best decision ever if you want to soak up the Margate vibe. Trust me, Wilds comes highly recommended from us! 🍸🎶

Had this place recommended to me so we visited for Sunday breakfast/brunch. The food menu in the restaurant was different (less options) and more expensive than that on their website. Food was good but not sure worth the price when lots of other places available.

Very cute local brunch spot. Cosy, good atmosphere, the LOVELIEST staff. Coffee was great. Looked like there's some good cocktail options if that takes your fancy. Had the avocado on toast with scrambled egg. Unfortunately both were way way too salty, was only able to eat half. Perhaps someone new in the kitchen? Hopefully this place works a bit on the food as it has bags of potential.

Just off the sea front opposite the Margate museum Wildes is a cosy, bohemian style cafe/bar. Sofa and soft seats, marble topped tables. Simple menu but homemade delicious items, fresh cakes and coffee, soups and filled buns. Water with sliced cucumber was a welcomed treat while we decided on our choices. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely atmosphere, outside space makes you feel your dining in the Mediterranean (when it’s hot here). Great thick sandwiches and complementary cucumber water which was a thirst quencher!!

Drinks, atmosphere and service great. Food is underwhelming. The nachos seemed good and quite generous. But the beef brisket brioche was small and the brisket was chewy and not freshly cooked - seemed like pre sliced meat.

A nice enough place and one of the better atmospheric cafes in Margate. It's a bit of a novelty, but a bit overpriced for what it is. Pancakes were nice but can't understand what the obsession with serving everything on small plates is. Can get cramped because the premises is cosy. It's decent enough but don't attract me to Margate just to go here.

I’ve been to Margate 3 times; and therefore Wildes 3 times!! Delicious cocktails, great atmosphere, seriously well presented and tasty food.. It ticks every box every time.

This is my favourite place in Margate! Great food, great service and phenomenal atmosphere. They even shared their playlist with me. Order the waffle and you won’t be disappointed!

Great music, very chilled, service was quick and everyone in there was so nice! Lots of seats inside and benches outside. Coffees and teas were great, will definitely be coming back here.

The food was pretty good but portions weren't aligned with the price, even from London standards (£9 for a bacon bap). Salt beef bun tasted more of bun and coleslaw than of beef. The staff were wonderful but there weren't enough to manage a full patio, as a result the meal was extremely slow. It's a shame - feels like a place with a lot of potential, but a few hurdles to work out still.

Lovely friendly staff (despite lots of wrong dishes coming out) and great location and vibe. Coffee was nice. The Cuban sandwich I had was awful - the meat was overcooked and flavourless and with a tiny scraping of mustard and it being served on inexplicably toasted white bread, it was super dry. Plus they were charging £10 for a pint of lager in a plastic cup on Pride weekend, which was a huge cash in (esp considering a G&T was still 6.50?)

Food tastes great, drinks arrive quickly dogs welcomed like all customers However the glasses were very dirty with fingerprints all over them and we ordered a couple of slices of toast with 2 different toppings Final bill was £45 which was a bit steep for 2 toast with 2 toppings

Place is a nice little sun trap with a nice outdoor vibe and tasty cocktails.

Stopped in for some lunch with our toddler today and was really impressed, food and coffee was lovely, really tasty. Was really impressed with the service, the guy serving us offered a toddler friendly alternative and we were really grateful. We’re not usually ones to ask so it was a nice touch! Great friendly service :)

I came here once a few months ago and had the best espresso martini of my life and then came back today and had the worst espresso martini of my life. Really disappointing to not get the consistency and felt a bit let down tbh. Won't be back.

I went there for a brunch with about 13 other women for a hen party. We had to sit on two separate tables away from each other but this was our fault as we booked it as two separate bookings. The food was delicious and looks amazing! Great visit!

This is one of the loveliest spots in Margate old town for a lovely drink and a fresh bite to eat. We generally go in Summer so sit in the beautiful terrace but the inside is designed so chic; I imagine that a nice coffee after a winter beach walk would feel like a hug in a mug. 💜

Came here on my birthday from London. The cocktails were nice and the indoor decor is stunning but doesn’t really translate well to the outside. Wish there was something that just continued the theme. The lady who served us didn’t smile once, rolled her eyes at us, and overall quite monotone. Not sure if just having a bad day. On the other hand there was a guy working there who was so delightful, incredibly happy and good vibes - unfortunately he wasn’t serving us. We were going to stay for food after a few drinks but we decided to leave. Would come back and try again if we find ourselves in Margate.

We have been to Wildes on a few occasions now. Today I had the Salted Beef Brisket brioche bun and, OMG it was so tasty and fresh. Washed down by a cheeky little peach Bellini 🍑. Love the music and atmosphere here, just sitting and watching the world go by.

The taste and freshness of the food was pretty good. However, the portions are very small, and prices are high. I now need to go to another restaurant to get a proper sized lunch. If you are not hungry, then this is a great choice for you.

Not too bad about my experience there. Just wanted a takeaway coffee and I had to wait 15 minutes with no other takeaway customers in front of me. The coffee was decent but not great. One more star for the beautiful interiors and vibe of the place

Friendly service and really nice food. A little on the expensive side for what you get though. I had a very good red pepper, bean and goat cheese stew with sourdough garlic bread. Except it wasn’t sourdough.

Very pretty cafe, all pink with some plants. Seating inside is pretty minimal, however there are lots of wooden tables outside of the cafe and most of the tables inside have lots of comfy cushions. The cakes here were delicious as well, and the staff were very nice. Definitely coming back!

We were virgin Wilde's. Popped in there for a coffee to get out of the cold..and wow... As soon as I opened the door I liked it..the smell and the service from a polite young lady and the music she was playing (70's chilled)..perfect.

Great little place. Staff were wrecked from tequila shots by the end of the night, and undercharged us by about £150 for our cocktails and then gave us 10% discount. Recommend. Six stars.

Taste of the cocktails were very good but I have had bigger shot glasses. Massive local dfl vibe, maybe should wear a beanie hat next time and some trousers that go to my shins. Price was ridiculous for the service and measurement of glass. I’ve been to many high end cocktail bars and never had a problem or left a negative review, the fact that I’m even writing a review shows how disappointing it was.

So very expensive. £3.20 for an awful latte, luke warm, too strong, tiny glass. Music playing was unnecessary , early morning. Beautiful interior. Need to try harder. A shame.
