This is a great spot not only is it buzzing but the wine list is spectacular and the food is amazing - Italian fare but with the added luxury of fresh seafood oysters or prawns - we tested one afternoon for a glass of wine sitting outside overlooking a lovely little square and ended up staying for a bottle and some oysters. We came back the following evening for dinner of special bolognese and crab linguini and both hit the spot. The service was excellent and staff are brilliant especially Eli and Ella. They even posted me back my tie which I had accidentally left behind - what’s not to like about a place like this - you won’t be disappointed

The worst restaurant experience last night for my birthday The waitress was insisting that we should take starters as we would be waiting between 40 mn to an hour for the steaks that the 5 of us had ordered.. Hard to believe it should take so long when it takes minutes to cook proper steaks When finally the steaks arrived at our table, just 1 hour later, they were cold. We had to send them back. When they returned, they were looking pathetic, black, very overcooked (I had requested my Chateaubriand blue) and not very much warmer, but not appetising nor tasty, nor tender! We had ordered : 1) 650 gr prime UK Chateaubriand. 2) sirloin 400 gr. 3) 700 gr USDA sirloin. We felt also the portions we got on the plates were quite small. Altogether a very disappointing meal, not cheap (276 £ just for the 3 steaks)… and that was only half the price of the bill. We had ordered bread which was abominably salty and we were told that all bread would be the same when asked for replacement, Very expensive, not a good service, no attention whatsoever However,It takes all sorts.... I shall remember this birthday for sure

Stopped by for a glass of wine. Service was very friendly and prompt but their pours are tiny (this was 175 ml) and not worth £17+. It felt like a rip-off.

It is very rare that I rate a restaurant with as ‘poor’. And that while the food was actually excellent and the price/quality good (for the Chelsea area that is). So why? The unfriendly, rude and nervous Manager told us at 11:55 that he needed to table at 12:20 (while our online brunch reservation clearly stated from 11:45 - 13:15). While this can happen it was the way he said it. Even taking off one of the drinks would have done the trick. But he seemed a person who just didn’t get it. So quite disappointing and, given this experience, we will not go frequent this place any longer ( a shame as we live in the neighbourhood).

Wild Tavern is a nice restaurant with a good ambiance and great wine list. Bonuses for a vegan as you are restricted to a few side dishes.

What a restaurant, with excellent service and food to die for I couldn’t recommend the restaurant more. Lucia looked after us with five star service and you have to finish with the Canoli.

Perfec place for everyday gourmet dinner. I love the ceviche with seafood, tartare with shrimps, agnolotti e tartufi… the Napoleon dessert is to die for…for my very chic friend from London this is the Number One place…enjoy!!

I had burrata and Pasta alla Norma. Burrata was good, but pasta alla Norma was not even close to the original one. we asked for spaghetti alle vongole for kids aged 4 and 5 and there was a lot of Chili peppers.

Had lunch at Wild Tavern with friends and it was everything one could wish for. The restaurant has a relaxed and cosy vibe, warm and inviting. Slightly rustic like a tavern indeed, but elevated to the Chelsea spirit. We followed our waiter’s recommendations and shared some exceptional dishes from the raw bar, starters and of course the homemade pasta. Tartares of kingfish and sicilian red prawns were superb: perfectly seasoned, with main ingredient being the king, just like it should be. Also loved their tortello with oxtail and paccheri with white fish & saffron. We couldn’t leave without trying cannoli - a slightly different take on one of my fav desserts, and what a delight! 10/10, will definitely come back.

Very good food, not oversofisticated or pretentious. Service was quite good too. Some ot he drinks are severely overpriced! 18£ fro a spritz is just ludicrous ever for Chelsea.

Excellent in every way! Been there 3 times on 3 different visits to London recently and we'll be going back again in June. Bravo! I'm not mad about "pulled" meat and for spaghetti bolognese I prefer minced meat - just saying. I would not order that again for that reason. The rack of lamb is sublime. The chilli cocktail is sublime but too small.......... Have a heart ♥️ we love your restaurant and would come every week if we could afford it!

Best food in London so far (moved a year and tried many different places, also Michelin starred). The atmosphere is nice and cozy with real fireplace and lots of wood. Waiters are really kind, the one who served me gave me the best advice as I had tortello with wagyu ox tail which was simply delicious, tasty and well cooked, al dente as we like it in Italy! After that I had sardinian cannoli as dessert which was really amazing, made with love I would say. Prices are not low but at least you leave the place satisfied, it doesn't happen very often in London! I'll come back for sure with my family, well done Wild Tavern!

We had not planned to eat at the Wild Tavern, so we didnt have a booking. But Julia welcomed us and found my husband and me a place to sit and eat at the bar - so glad we stayed as it was one of the best evenings out we have had in a long time. The combination of excellent, friendly service and great food was truly remarkable. Julia and Marco were attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations from their signature cocktails, wines and the menu. The food was delicious! Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, presented and enjoyable. The general manager Chrispin took the time to talk with us, ensuring our experience was enjoyable. The whole atmosphere was great, and I recommend sitting at the bar, where you get to be part of everything happening. Finally, the service was outstanding. Regardless of whether they were serving you, every staff member was friendly, attentive and ensured our needs were met. The food was served promptly, and our drinks were never empty - you must try the signature cocktails. In conclusion, I highly recommend Wild Traven for a memorable dining experience with excellent service and exceptional food.

I sadly could not agree more with the majority of the reviews here. I think this place has some sort of identity crisis as the waiters behave like snobs and try to blend in with their expectation of Chelsea people, which is sad. No, we are not stuck up and are all very normal. Their personality only seem to warm through once given the chance to act like a normal waiter. This place looks like a pub yet has a price point over Cipriano or LPM. The price point is beyond me. Yes it is displayed on the menu, yes I appreciate your ingredients (although to be expected, excuse me if I pay £259 for a lunch for two it better be and that is with merely a “carafe” of wine). But it is the third time we visited (twice as a couple and once with friends) and I simply can’t get over this overwhelmingly strong feeling of being robbed every single time. I don’t mind the bill, but it left me feeling reeling because it just seems so out of order for the the whole thing. The experience, the food, the service. It is just not worth it. The food is good. The chefs are trying hard. Perhaps too hard? Perhaps £28 pasta dishes don’t work if you are ordering starters, main and dessert? Is it a sharing concept? Is it a restaurant? A pub? What is it? I think it is pleasant enough. That’s why we returned three times but sadly this was the last time that I could stomach the feeling of being robbed and the walk afterwards where we are trying to figure out what we spent hundreds of pounds on? I think you need to have a long hard think.

Italian classics, served by proficient staff, in a welcoming gastro-pub / restaurant atmosphere, at absurd prices, to a clientele of Made in Chelsea extras and their parents.

First, let me introduce myself as a foodie who knows her food inside out and does not fall for Michelin stars or Postcode traps. I do know my food. And I do know service. I am equally happy in praising a shack or a food truck as I am in any other Haute CAusine establishment. What I do not like is being jipped. That gets me every- single- time, and that is why I am writing this. I am not a happy customer. So here is the good news: -Nice Ambiance -Best Cannoli I have ever tried What was just about OK -The Seabass ceviche -The Pear and avocado salad Everything else -Service is questionable at it's best -Prices are EXORBITANT, borderline ridiculous. A steak will set you back £90, and it's not even that amazing. -The wine starts at 15/20 pounds a glass for something quite mediocre -The pasta is dull, and the overall menu limited No Wild tavern, this is not OK. You do not have a Michelin star and never will; you should note how many restaurants in that spot went bust as they were charging the same crazy prices and people just stopped coming.

Great vibe to start with as you enter. Good service as they showed knowledge of the dishes. Attentive to the customers needs and comments even if it was discreet. Mustafa is the man to look for when you are there as he was amazing.

Loved the vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. Cocktails were unique and delicious. Service excellent. I ordered one of the pasta specials. I probably should have asked more specifics. “Lemon ricotta ravioli” ..I envisioned those tastes in a light creamy white sauce. It was actually a tomato based dish with very smoky bacon. Not the taste I expected when the only description was “lemon ricotta ravioli “. Again, I probably should have asked for more specifics, but I would expected a Michelin restaurant to be more thorough in their description of their dishes.

This is the perfect place for a wonderful dining experience. Fantastic food, amazing service and efficient, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Nothing was too much trouble and to be honest I’d eat here every single day if I could! Perfection.

Fabulous pasta, beef and generally an all round excellent produce very well prepared. The service is efficient and pleasant. Yes it is pricy but worth every penny.
