Went there and had a full English Breakfast. It was great - staff were polite and friendly. Service was swift. Prices were reasonable. Place was clean and it seemed to be well run. Well done to all - it was great. The only down side is that some of the decor looks tired and the carpet could do with replacement. But don't let you be put off. If you are in Bury and want a Brunch - Lunch - Bite to eat - you won't go far wrong

Have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal , recently we came and had a panini for me and my daughter and my husband had the shepherds pie and it was all very good , the panini came with salad and crisps and was a good plateful . The staff have always been friendly and always aim to please.

Food was freshly cooked and was hot.

My husband and I came here to have our lunch,We went upstairs as their wasn't any tables available downstairs,For a start are table was wonky so I put a folded tissue under the leg ,Our drinks order was taken quickly,Then ordered our lunch ,It took way over 20 minutes to finally arrive,My husband was ready to go after 15 minutes,The lunch was alright,The toilets upstairs were disgusting, The whole place do with a good clean ,Very disappointed,We have here in the summer and sat outside, 😬👎

The staff always makes you welcome and shows you to a seat and gets you a menu and are willing to answer any questions you have lovely range of meals on the menu to choose from really good value for money

Lots of seating available inside ground floor and upstairs Staff are friend on and polite and very professional Also have a ramps for wheelchairs Food was lovely and the portions are good Affordable

Breakfast brunch all deep fat fried sausages and bacon awfull shame it used to be good new owners clearly don't care

This is a great little cafe where the staff genuinely make an effort for their customers. Over the last year or so we've visited here for breakfast numerous times and it never changes. Great service and freshly cooked food all at a reasonable price. You can see why it's popular.

Really nice owner helped us with a stroller. Nice staff, good value for money. Highly recommend you stop in or sit outside for a cuppa

We had an excellent all day breakfast. Was a Sunday when we visited, obviously very popular with the locals for Sunday roast. Staff very obliging and very dog friendly (she got a complimentary sausage)

Yikes on Price.Just wanted some breakfast. A bacon and egg sandwich and a can of coke or a bottle of water would do. Place looks nice, had a good feel about it, but the prices. Sat down, was given a menu. £2.75 for a 330ml can of drink and £6.00 for a bacon and egg sandwich. Closed the menu and left. £2.75 for a can of coke. NO.

Pop in on Friday, sat outside in the sun, service was excellent. Had drinks and a Sausage sandwich, the sausages were some of the best I have ever had. Where do you get your sausages from?

Only popped in for a brew but received very well. Have eaten here in the past, large menu, good portions, and quick polite service. Unisex loo, easy access. Staff are readily available and offer assistance if needed. It's much better than the fast food farms! There is seating outside.

Basic cafe but staff friendly and food nice

I had a shepherd's pie. The pie had lots of herbs in it. It didn't taste like a traditional pie. I had frozen peas and chips with it. The coffee was ok.

We visited the cafe today and had brunch and pancakes the service was brilliant very friendly meals and drinks came very meals were delicious couldn't ask for better we will definitely be visiting there again i have also recommended it to friends well done everyone

Very disappointed at the attitude of some staff ,interaction with customers, there was obviously a meeting going on upstairs in the cafe , staff number I observed was making light of the fact with customers who were blatantly taking the complete and utterly p*** out of the people upstairs in the group , I found thus Vert distasteful and completely unacceptable,!!!🤬😠😡😠🤬😠😡😠

Stumbled across this lovely café serving great cafe food. We had three breakfasts and enjoyed them immensely. Will definitely be back. Lovely staff and that were very efficient and friendly.

Sadly had to stop going here very unchild friendly rude customers who want arguments over children being in there and staff don’t assist or help in the matter don’t take children in !

Great food friendly and welcoming. I had the chicken grilled garlic and herb served with salad and chips and some coleslaw was so delicious really enjoyed the meal, the coleslaw I'm fussy with some I like it creamy and this was spot on creamy. The chicken grilled if you love your garlic you won't be disappointed. Soon as it was served to me could smell the garlic so good love it. I had cappuccino as well ery nice will definitely visit again. Great menu choices not bad prices also has upstairs seating, toilets downstairs. I don't know if they have toilets upstairs didn't go up there.

Very bland lunch, incomplete order, tried to overcharge, when politely pointed out there was no apology and seemed totally oblivious. Would definitely NOT eat here again, very disappointed

Decent burger with a nice salad and sides to boot. Breakfast looks amazing, we will have to come back. Outdoor seating available.

It's not bad, but when you order a sandwich it automatically comes with chips which is a bit strange and not wanted.

Went for breakfast with my 2 daughters. Food was hot upon arrival. Speedy service and happy, polite staff. Prices are more than fair for the quality of the food and service. Recomended for a visit.

This used to be called something else, I can't remember what. The present incarnation of this established cafe is still as good, still has really good staff, and is still as popular as ever. The food was delicious, hot and served quickly. The place had a steady stream of satisfied customers, the tables were well spaced and it was pleasant and comfy. Open on a Sunday was the added bonus we'll be back soon.
