This way, beautifully dressed toddlers; that way, somebody on laptop emails and a healthy breakfast. It's colourful, comfy and creatively imaginative, with nice coffee and enticingly unique cakery (+ great savouries). I was there at 9:45 and just missed the last croissant, but was delighted by the alternative offer. Widcombe must be up-and-coming with this place for the up-and-come; I didn't see anybody in a suit, but you could try it.

On a trip to Bath, visited this deli on 4 occasions for breakfast, there was a good choice of artisan food, We also bought delicious cakes & pies to take away. Service excellent, warm welcome, catered for all our needs with a smile. My sister & I would highly recommend the Widcombe Deli & hope to visit again when next in Bath.

Very pleasant evening spent eating really nice food in a pleasant environment served by friendly and helpful staff. The only think I would say is the wine menu is a little narrow and begins at £16-95 which is fairly steep for a basic wine Otherwise I'd eat here again when visiting Bath

Decided to book this a a change from eating in central Bath and it didn't disappoint. Interesting menu choices had us all being indecisive, they all looked so good. All four in the party agreed that the food was superb, would highly recommend.

Went to Ring O Bells at the weekend. Overall had a good experience, nice atmosphere and the waitress was very friendly and helpful, especially when there was a problem with one of the dishes. Only thing was we had been told a vegan option could be arranged by the chefs on the day for one person, only to be told they were too busy to put some fruit together on a plate for dessert. I understand it was Saturday night but a little disappointing. Overall would recommend, lovely steak & dauphinoise potatoes!

An excellent small pub with food. Very accommodating staff particularly as we had a late Sunday evening booking due to a misunderstanding. Excellent service, value, good wines, delicious tapas. Also enjoyed the jazz!

Like a lot of restaurants these days this venue suffers from very poor acoustic control due to absence of soft furnishings. The reverberant noise level gets higher and higher which makes it a very unpleasant place to dine when you can't hear your own table guests conversation. It's a shame because the general ambience looks very appealing and the restaurant is full of character. The food prices are on the high side which would be understandable if the quality was also of the highest standard. Although the presentation was very good we were disappointed with the quantity of food and surprised to have to pay extra for vegetables. The rib eye steak was tough and so too was the venison.

Delicious food in a relaxed pub atmosphere. Scrubbed tables. We'd recommend it to anyone who likes good food and isn't looking for a cheap night out. That's to say there is thought and effort here and it deserves to be popular.

This visit was on a Tuesday evening, and every table was occupied. As on the previous two visits, the food was excellent and imaginative. My trout on Ear Grey risotto with quails' eggs was excellent, as was the rib-eye steak and the best chips I can remember. Drinks are very reasonably priced which is probably the result of trying to walk the tricky tightrope of being a good local restaurant and a local pub. I think Ash and his team have managed to do it. My first visit here with two friends was the first time the three of us had eaten out where everyone was pleased with their choice, but were also impressed by everyone else's choices. It was also the only time I have had to order two desserts! Don't tell the doctor.

The food was extremely good, especially for the price. We had the Sunday night tapas and it was delicious. Accompanied by very pleasant jazz and a cracking chocolate parfait to finish. Very hard to fault!

A great place just a few minutes from the town centre. Excellent food and a great wine list. Staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful. We left happy!

Lovely food, a bit pricey and the young man serving drinks needs to stop giving you your glass of beer, wine by putting his fingers round the rim. Would go back and recommend.

Absolutely stunning lemon drizzle! Was amazed I could pick up a fully decorated cake and have it personalised on the spot to take away. Great service and wonderful cake. :)

Had an out-of-this-world time at The Star Inn in High Littleton! This place is a cosmic blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. The beer selection was stellar, and my pint was so good it practically had its own gravitational pull. The staff were super friendly and made us feel like VIPs. The cozy atmosphere and lively crowd made for a night full of laughs and good vibes. The food looked so good, I almost tried to bribe the chef for the recipes – next time, I’m definitely digging in! If you’re looking for a pub that’s light-years ahead of the rest, The Star Inn is your destination. Highly recommend for a night of fun and frolic!

A lovely pub in a fantastic location. Perfectly situated for a Sunday lunch and a long walk. The staff were super accommodating and attentive and the roast dinner was incredible. The beef was perfectly cooked and I was pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of roasted beetroot! However, the absolute stand out is the potatoes. They are arguably the best roast potatoes I have ever been served in a pub/restaurant. Additionally, the pigs in blankets starter was amazing. Although the roast is on the pricier side for a pub lunch there is absolutely no doubt that it is value for money. I have been recommending this place to everyone.

This place is a real gem, slightly off the beaten track but kind of diagonally opposite the Jane Austen museum. The coffee is so smooth and tasty, lots of varieties to choose from and the owner/staff are serious coffee buffs. Highly recommend.
