Unfriendly environment. Great for sporty regulars though I'm sure.

A place frequented by local residents. Good place to grab a quick pint with friends. It can be a bit of wait to get drinks over the weekends due to rush.

Ordered a pint... Instead of a fresh pint I was served with a quarter pint that was already sitting there and topped it up hoping I didn't notice. I would expect a friendly smile aswell but was greeted with a miserable face and a greeting to go with it! It looked like a half decent pub but based on the 2 issues I wouldn't bother returning!

Had a lovely visit today, popped in on way home and stayed twice as long as planned, Jack is a gem! A rarity to find such lovely staff in a pub. Thanks Jack

10 of us finished our 9 mile leg of the London Loop here for a much appreciated drink and dry off. There was a match on so it was noisy and lively with much amicable rivalry and general good vibes. They don’t serve food but have awarded them 4 stars because not only did they let us know that we could bring takeaway food in, they then brought over trays of sandwiches and quiche on the house! Service was lovely and customers really friendly and kind, giving us rollies and sending us on our way with careful directions home. Loved this pub!

A gem of a pub that is rare to find these days if you want a proper grown up drink and be sociable with the local people. Staff, locals, food, beer garden and pool table 😁 excellent, if a pub needs longer opening hours then this would win for me 👏🏻

Rude staff too busy on there phone to serve customers and when they do finally serve. You they interrupt everything you say.ADVOID. Expensive prices too!!

Limited selection of ciders , clean bar , clean toilets but service was slow .

Really cool little local, we met a local puppy called Shadow who was super cute. I had a Guinness and a lager for £8:30.

Never drunk in this area before so didn't know what to expect.....a lively evening with good staff and decent punters...made to feel welcome

Honestly one of the worst pubs my husband and I have visited. The service was shockingly bad and slow, we waited for a second round but gave up & moved on. The Guinness was appalling. The manager appeared to have no interest in the running of the bar, she was too busy talking to notice the queue of people waiting to be served. The men's toilet was VERY popular. Genuinely can't believe this is a Stonegate venue. In response to your reply. My husband used your toilet & there was no work taking place. But as I said, the toilet was very popular & it was clear as the nose on my face why. You were talking to two young ladies, who definitely were not plumbers.

Would Give no stars how is it a sunday and I live two roads away and can hear karaoke shaking my house. Joke sunday is for relaxing not listening to screaming.

Ok app to order drinks but couldn't find coke under soft drinks. Not really an issue as easy to purchase from bar. Staff helpful, outdoor seating, shows football.

Second night in a row, it's a lovely "little" pub. Clean, friendly, nice beer garden and good polite efficient service.

Ordered table service waited 10 mins then went in only to find barman had put our receipt in the bin! would never have got drinks, sitting outside with my 6 year old & 13 year old with people who can't handle there drink Fxxk that & etc... wont be stopping again shame as its my local where we had our wedding reception was a nice pub ! now just a piss heads hangout!

This is a locals pub and a drinkers pub. They don’t do food. Had a nice refurb within the last year. Has a pool table and a little garden area.

It's the first time I have visited this pub, I must say I am impressed, the bar staff were very friendly, the beer was excellent and well kept. I had a pint of Holy Grail, very reasonably priced too.

A little gem of a pub in East Surrey. Four real ales, a selection of the normal other drinks in a recently refurbished pub with both a secluded beer garden and seating out the front. Pool table and SKY/BT TV for sports inside make it an all round pleasure to visit. No food on our visit which may be the only downside but some good restaurants and takeaways close by.

Much improved nice beer garden now and selection of wine and beer.👍

GEEZAs let it down, I get its a local pub and it should be for everyone but £7.40 for two drinks is very reasonable doesn't deserve comments like "I expect lube before I'm f**ked. Just not into listening to dumb drunk blokes. 😂

Popped in here for refreshments enroute to our destination due to major traffic jams. Its a pleasant enough place with lots of choice on the bar. They have a big screen so would say that tv sport it its strong point. Bar staff were friendly and sympathetic to our travelling problems!

Limited parking but is close to station. Good for TV sports. Toilets are adequate but smell bad.

The young "owner" was a douchebag. I would never step foot in there again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Before I say anything, the bar over the road is NOT a micro brewery. It is a small bar, the Radnor Arms, that sells an ever changing selection of real ales; very nice but no TV, music or machines of any description. The Whyteleaf is a typical local, you either love it or hate it. IT IS OK. No trouble. I am a 65 year old who likes a nice quiet pint at a reasonable price. There are lots of 'local' boozers that I do not like, this is not one of them.

Pop in this pub for a drink had three hand pumps only one one had one pint then run out and no one else order bitter .....I seen better pubs go out of business ....work that out!!!!!!!! Need complete refit and loving Landlord to take control ..... So don't bother . But one good thing is there is a micro brewery about 20 / 50 yards away ...whoop whoop .

This pub has never been amazing. It was the only pub in Whyteleafe for a while, but the new micro pub has helped the Tavern slide further down the scale. The ales are badly kept on occasion and they play a lot of sports on TV. Useful if you want a lager and a game if pool.

Arsenal won the Footie. One bloke kicked out for being too pissed. Great place.

I'm very impressed with this pub and restaurant. The people who run it are completely brilliant and you will be entertained all evening at this great place friendly atmosphere and the prices are not bad either. I have enjoyed every visit.
