Whitney's Quality Sandwiches in Cheshire East

Working away from home and got bored of the Tesco meal deal, Subway and McDonald's. Had a walk along Nantwich Rd and took a gamble on this place. Quality jerk chicken wrap and friendly staff as well. The only disappointing thing is, is that we didn't discover it earlier on in the week.

My go to place for a decent filling breakfast, tasty and a decent price. Really nice coffee also. An absolute delight in the morning

I like a hot roast cob. While it might some like hyperbole, the roast turkey cob here is the best I’ve had anywhere. It’s my misfortune that I only visit Crewe occasionally but when I do, this is my lunch destination of choice. The turkey is nicely cooked, the cob is good quality and it’s a huge portion. I’m sure the rest of their menu is equally good but I’m only going to find out if I turn up one day and they’re out of turkey. Aside from the food, the shop is nicely furnished and has a small seating area. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful and the whole experience is excellent. Without doubt, lunch here is the high point of my work trips to Crewe. Thanks to all of the staff.

This is by far the best place for breakfast or lunch on the Nantwich Road. They have recently been refurbished and the shop looks amazing. Staff wonderful and very efficient. Daily specials are great in addition to regular sandwich or breakfast choices. Very highly recommended.

Probably a good lunch place too but I found myself at Crewe station at 7.00am, ages before I needed to start my journey. Searched hopefully for a breakfast place ab and found this oasis. Sausage or bacon baps with additional egg if desired. Hot and thirst-quenching tea. A few seats if you want to enjoy the scenery. Two minutes from the station even for the less sprightly.

Just wanted to say massive thanks for the fab buffet you provided for my mum's 80th birthday party. The food was fresh and tasty, plenty of choices, everybody commented on how much they enjoyed the food, as a former chef and somebody with nearly 30 years hospitality management i would definitely recommend your food and friendly service. thanks Michelle

This is one of my favourite places for breakfasts, sandwiches or office buffet lunches in Crewe. Very clean, lovely staff and excellence customer service. I love this place.

This place has become my guilty pleasure. Whilst I’m not a morning person I now love mornings due to the fabulous breakfast butties made by Debbie and her team. Lovely staff and a great telephone service so that I can order without hanging around. A good selection of daily specials too. Well done Whitneys - you are a credit to Crewe.

Called in for a warming brekky butty & brew with The Good Lady for a quick early lunch. Choice & quality of both hot & cold sarnies were "Spot On". The 3 ladies serving were ALL lovely and the lady that served us was outstanding. Two stuffed baps + two gorgeous coffees for under £9 - bargain too boot !!!!!!!!!

I've been using this shop for more years than I care to remember. It is the standout sandwich shop in the area. Not the cheapest but quality service offering excellent value for money. Staff are a delight, always service with a smile. Coffee served is top notch, strong with a kick.

Working a stones throw from this shop is a valuable privilege. Nothing really comes close in the local area for a sandwich on the move. Freshly cooked specials and traditional favourites served as you like on fresh bread and quality ingredients provided by chatwins, a name synonymous with the best. The team are warm, welcoming and a big hit with the locals, so you can often find this place bustling with energy but plenty of laughter too. Speedy and efficiently you're order will be made pretty much from scratch unless you choose some delicious ready made rolls or sandwiches from the chiller? Don't see what you're looking for? Just ask, I'm sure the team will oblige as best they can. It's my only choice on Fridays!

I have tried all the vegetarian sandwiches here, they are very nice and fresh. Staff are very friendly and the place itself is very clean. Love it!

Wide choice of fresh sandwiches and banquettes, hot & cold - the hit specials are to die for. If feeling really hungry, a wide choice of quality cakes to follow.

The beef and onion wrap was so full of fat, it went in the bin after one bite. The tuna and sweet corn sandwich was bland with little if any seasoning or mayonnaise.

Lovely, friendly staff who prepare the most amazing, fresh sandwiches at fantastic value. The bacon and sausage bap we recently ordered went down particularly well with my 1 year old!

Mrs Whitney fulfilled the brief perfectly when we asked for a finger buffet for 30 family and friends. The buffet included chicken kebabs, quiches, small rolls filled with poached salmon, chunky sausage pieces with mustard dips and more. Fillings were generous with quality meat, fish and other ingredients used.Food was plentiful and utterly deliciious.I have no hesitation in recommending this company.The Allen family, Congleton

This is a Sandwich shop and doesn't try to be anything else. It's unpretentious, well priced and makes a good range of freshly filled sandwiches either to order of from the fridge. Portions are generous and alternative hot options are also available. Staff are really friendly and helpful, even during the lunchtime rush.

Really friendly staff; speedy service, and above all, a very tasty and big-filled breakfast bap.Not sure how you can sell a brap full of bacon, sausage, egg, black pudding and mushroom for less than a pint - using tasty ingredients - but my stomach thanks you for it.Simply brilliant - best breakfast in Crewe.

Friendly welcome, good service, good food. Comfortable casual seating within (the road is a bit too busy to sit at the pavement table), and with newspapers to browse. Convenient pay-and-display parking just behind, and walking distance from Crewe station. Delicious fruit crumble slice and good coffee, and nicely displayed food looked tempting - not just sandwiches but hot food too. No toilet, and no WiFi yet. We believe open 0700-1345. Very friendly and very clean - deserves to do well!
