I have been to the white horse a few times now and I can’t seem to fault them one bit. Their staff are very kind and polite, the atmosphere all around the pub cannot be beaten. And the pints are always poured to perfection. And the food is very delicious. All round 10/10 pub.

Great pub. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Whole team are very accommodating. Got a parking fine for not typing in my registration quick enough so I bought it in and gave it to the manager and he promptly appealed it for me.

Perfect destination for a hot summers day. Loads of choice in menu x Delicious food. Warm welcome and lovely ice cold drinks.

Lovely pub and food was good. Although waited over an hour for our lunch , short staffed, we were offered free drinks and food was excellent .the lady was running bar and serving the meals cleaning tables till her help came in . Excellent host

This pub is a family local with passing trade and the general manager is excellent. Some people on the spare of the moment send in valid reviews but don’t think how it will affect others. There is no point writing a review and complaining to GK at the same time. People need to realise we are all human beings and occasionally make mistakes. So please disregard any such reviews and concentrate on the good and the food and the general comment’s provided I have eat and drunk in this pub for over 30 years and I cannot commit to how Graham and his fantastic team have turned this around in the last year. So where to start on all days that was the worst so been here previously awesome food staff Well this visit Ethan the bar man who greeted us mid morning on arrival before going to the crematorium was pleasant best customer service ever To then return due to a pub near being smelly and dirty we decided to come here for food and drinks overall spent 140ish we ordered the nachos to have changed spec on this (cold) Graham the general manager well what can I say has ruined a sad day spoke to me like rubbish rude confrontational scruffy looking he has health issues but does not give you the right to talk to customers like he did and then to walk back after asking him to leave he counties to have confrontation and made me feel uncomfortable to go back to the bar Avoid at all cost when Graham is on shift will get a rude tone and insults you

Excellent pub, kid friendly and very good value for their dinner - they always eat the lot! Lovely friendly staff as well. We often pop in for a quick drink as just adults too and there is a great terrace perfect in the summer months.

I phoned up today to book a table and had a fantastic time!! Warm welcome when we arrived, was shown to our table and everything was explained to us. We went for the £8.99 lunch club offer as we wanted something light to eat. The rump steak toastie was perfect and cooked to perfection! Big thank you to your team for looking after us!

Stopped by after a nice walk in the sunshine. Ordered at the bar and was served by a lovely lady, ordered the fish and chips and I must say that the food didn't take long to come out and it was worth it, excellent meal! My friends enjoyed theirs and the staff were very attentive and made sure we were OK. Thank you for looking after us and we will be back soon!

Definitely recommend this pub, the food is great and a bottle of wine to go with it is reasonably priced!! The atmosphere is lovely. It was nice to sit in the outside area with the lights - only thing to suggest is maybe more heated areas, but other than that it was an enjoyable evening.

I had a chance to come back to town for a business trip and of course I had to visit this fav place. Ordered the Hunter Chicken and from first bite I can tell who made it. It was no one but Thuong. The consistency in her cooking is just wow. Tasty, juicy and I can tell how much she loves doing what she does. Hope to come back again soon to try another piece of art of hers.

Went for a couple of drinks and food but cut my visit short after the third dog, not on a lead, bit my sleeping dog, who was on his lead. The bargirl, who retrieved the dog muttered something in my direction but I have no idea what, certainly not an apology.The bar boy talked over me the entire time I was being served, ironically about how low the takings were for the day! Go figure.

Spent an evening in the White Horse pub.I visited with my daughter and her little dog who was welcomed in.Such a warm and cheerful place. We had a sharing platter plus a portion of halloumi fries.The food was hot and absolutely delicious.The manager, Tom, made me an excellent mug of tea to finish the meal.Highly recommend this friendly little gem.
