White Horse in Lambeth

Me encanta este porro y estoy muy contento de que hayan vuelto. Absolutamente han clavado el resumen de 'nueva normalidad' con servicio de mesa con una sonrisa y distanciamiento social hecho a la perfección. Como resultado, el lugar está constantemente animado sin sentirse abarrotado o incómodo. Recientemente organizaron nuestras bebidas de compromiso y no podría haber pedido un mejor servicio o una experiencia general completa. Larga vida al caballo blanco

No siendo una persona de pub, me sorprendió gratamente lo agradable que es este pub. La clientela de estilo moderno parecía bastante agradable cuando estuve allí por la tarde. No estoy seguro de cómo será más tarde en la noche. La decoración está bien y es limpia y agradable. Las comidas que sirven tienen una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Buen lugar para encontrarse con amigos.

Fui allí a comer con colegas un miércoles por la noche. La comida estaba bien y las bebidas a un precio razonable. No es un gran fanático de los perros deambulando mientras comes.

Fui allí para algunas bebidas de cumpleaños de bajo perfil. Reservamos una mesa antes - mano y el camarero la limpió tan pronto como llegamos allí y fue muy amable. La música fue muy divertida. El lugar tiene una mesa de billar. Las bebidas tienen un precio razonable. La seguridad no es ridículamente estricta y desagradable como pueden ser en Brixton. En general, genial! ! !

My friend was assaulted and the security guards did not take this seriously. They firstly accused my friend of making the assault up and were very aggressive in doing so when she reported it. The security guard told her to F off. It was only after we’d spoken to a second and third security guard that they asked which guy had assaulted my friend. They then proceeded to chat with a friend of the guy and the guy who had assaulted my friend casually only TO LET THE GUY BACK IN. We weren’t even spoken to after we’d pointed him out. This is sickening. YOUNG GIRLS ARE NOT SAFE HERE. Stay well away. Mysogynistic scum.

We always have a great Saturday night out at this place and often travel down from North London to come here. Reasonably priced drinks, great music and atmosphere, friendly staff and a proper space to dance - what's not to love!

Really good value food, quality ingredients, great presentation and friendly and attentive service. Never had a bad food experience at the White Horse.

After walking past the White Horse for three years we finally decided to check it out. To be honest, we came away thoroughly disappointed. The roast was incredibly inadequate - three tiny slices of fatty lamb with two tiny roasted potatoes served lukewarm. You can get much better roasts, in our opinion, at Effra Social near by for the same price, only much better portion sizes and quality. Alcohol selection pretty so-so and not priced fantastically well - £6 for an IPA? Only ciders were Orchard Thieves and Symons- nothing adventurous or interesting. Outside of nights out I'm not really sure what the White Horse offers other than a sub par selection of beers and ciders, and expensive-for-the-quality food. Clientele largely unfriendly, rich, white people - says it all really. Would recommend for night out, would recommend Effra Social for roasts and Sympathetic Ear for alcohol. Both nearby, both similarly priced, both better quality. It's a shame that the quality lets the WH down as badly as it does. The decor etc. is decent, staff pleasant, but the quality is poor - presumably so it doesn't cut into profit margins.

The white horse is one of my local and every visit exceeds our expectations! As always the food is spot on, service is amazing and the staff really goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Friendliness and casualness make this place special. Massive thanks to Simon, Silvia, Georgie and the chefs for today. We’ll see you next time ;)

The White Horse is a very short bus journey from Brixton station. Visited late Friday although it was somewhat busy apparently gets packed. They have outdoor seating and a vibrant décor theme with a tropical ceiling. They have a disco (3am licence at the weekend) and clear the tables to create a dance floor. It didn’t take long to get served at the bar and plenty of craft beers available. The crowd is mixed and certainly a lot of drunk yuppies. They have one pool table that is always busy and felt a bit in the way. I was shocked how nasty the ladies toilets were and the soaking wet floor.

Having previously has very good experience here we were very disappointed to be asked not to talk while another party in the pub were making a speech! Given this a public house and the Christmas party referred to was not contained in a private area this is preposterous!! Not sure with this attitude we will want to come again!

I live around the corner and have visited the white horse on multiple occasions. Good for casual wines with delicious food. The nachos are great as are the croquettes. Also great for a boogie on an evening out.

Nearby to Brixton Prison and ideal for pre-lunch/diner drinks and to meet up. Drinks were good and its a spacious comfortable pub. Our return after our lunch was not quite so good the staff were not very good and the loos horrible !!! Shame

Attracts a lot of yuppies. Will take you a while to get served at the bar due to how busy it is. Music: cheesy disco/house/r&b. Meh. Drinks prices a bit steep. One of those places you end up at because it's late and everywhere else is closed.

Well situated South London pub. Slightly cavernous and never quite works up an atmosphere due to the itinerant crowd. Other reviews put it well as in it might be good for a Tinder date where you wouldn't want to meet anyone you know, and unlike pubs like the Dog House, it won't ever really be a welcoming local due to the shifting rootless local young rental market crowd that clearly use it most regularly - but it opens late ish and so not a bad place to stop.
