White Horse in South Staffordshire

Sat at a table for a couple of drinks at 5pm.table booked 630 .at520 asked to move because table was booked for food. Not happy as regulars. Never had a problem before.

Fantastic food, I've have nearly tested the whole menu, and never had anything that I would not give 5 stars, staff always friendly, the best desi pub around

Been to this pub today after looking at the reviews What a let down it was 😡😡 After waiting a while for our food when others came in a long time after we had ordered were given there starters I asked why we were still waiting I was told it was because they had starters Eventually when the food came out well what a disappointment it was, Ordered the chicken Parthia, could have gone to the supermarket and got a better sauce it was so sweet Never have I had such a bad so called Parthia, Sent it back having being disappointed and having to wait so long Was asked if I wanted a replacement absolutely not, I opted for a starter and was told that the difference would be given back off my bill that I had already paid for 😡😡 If you know your curry’s I would recommend you find your self a proper Indian not this pub.

Absolutely amazing food, everything was so tasty and fresh. Would highly recommend, friendly service from all staff, people was friendly too.

Lovely people and amazing food. Makes a change from having the usual “Indian”. The food is cooked to order and is delicious. The portion sizes are very generous too. Book in advance as it is very busy on a Saturday, They also do takeaway and I think delivery.

Visited the White Horse on Sunday 10th April. Was really pleased with the choices in the vegan menu. I opted for the sizzling Vegan mixed grill and wasn’t disappointed. Staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend

I contacted the Whitehorse via fb messenger before visiting to ask if they could cater for vegans. I was made aware that they are working on a vegan menu and they would like to take the opportunity to wow me And wow they did. For starter I was treated to a sizzling platter with chicken tikka style soya, mushrooms, aubergine, courgette, pakora, broccoli and jackfruit. The vegetables were so flavoursome, with delicate spices that delighted the tastebuds. The soya chicken tikka was awesome it would possibly dupe a meat eater. The variety on the platter would please the vegetable lover or the meat substitute lover alike. The main meal was a soya chicken tikka masala. Sweet & creamy coconut curry. It really could not be faulted The rice was light fluffy and delicious. The meat eaters and vegans shared a lovely meal together and all enjoyed their food. The Whitehorse is definitely to be commended for their effort, their friendliness and cooking wizardry. Highly recommended Thank you In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger I’ll be back !!

Called in to The White Horse after a recommendation from a friend and really happy we did! Food was fantastic, hot and fresh and full of flavour, The wife and I had the King grill between us with a few sides (naan, masala chips) Absolute mountain of meat, we were defeated and had to take half home with us! The owner and staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Keep it up guys, we’ll be back soon with the family!

Writing this off of my daughters email but Staff was lovely. Had such a laugh with a lovely gentlemen. Great banter and was very helpful when my daughter asked about any jobs. Will return again soon. Fabulous food. My daughter loved it. Thanks Dawn x

I have visited this pub a few times and I went on a Sunday and their Sunday roasts are a solid 10/10. Every member of staff have a high quality service and always put the customers first. Every piece of food is homemade and you can tel with every mouth full. Would highly recommend

This place isnt the best...needs a refurb into a nice family pub seeing as its in the middle of a residential area. Ive known load music come from this pub which isnt good when its surrounded by houses. Really needs somebody to make something of the place.
