White Horse in North Lincolnshire

A warm and clean pub that was a delight to visit. Myself and wife met some friends for breakfast and coffee and after 2 years we WILL be returning…. We were greeted by a warm, friendly and helpful young bartender who explained how the new coffee machines worked and nothing seemed too much trouble. Once seated we were greeted by a very polite young server who brought our breakfasts and even returned to ask was everything ok with our food ( this doesn’t happen in many places nowadays). I made a note of both girls names and thank you Abby & Sasha as I’ll be emailing head office with praise for you both. Thank you for welcoming us into the white horse!!

Disgraceful app cancelled while we were ordering food so didn’t put our order through But charged us for the beer Went to the bar to ask what’s going on and where our order was as everyone else had their food Popadoms not cooked Chicken looked liked it was dragged through a hedge backwards Apparently the fryers are down and “there’s nothing they can do about it “ Yes you can stop taking orders for food We said the order you have messed up on and we asked for No peas now has peas We just want to finish our drinks and we just want to leave The staff member said “ME TOO” I’ve seen people getting burgers and RICE And now while I’m writing this the tills have broken and all the customers have been called down to another till This is by far the worst Wetherspoons we have ever been in

We had a really good vegetarian breakfast here, with a choice of regular or a huge big one, and they have soya milk for your cuppa. We will return very soon.

The fish and chips were very good. Not greasy at all. The vegetarian burger (Beyond Meat) and chips were also very good and not greasy. Staff were very efficient and friendly. We will return.

Took the family to Brigg to visit the garden centre and stopped off for breakfast first at The White Horse. Traditional breakfasts all round in a standard Wetherspoons pub. As ever we left our expectations at the door and hoped for the best. The food was Ok, up to the usual standard to be fair. Affordable, just did enough to be acceptable. Skinny beans, warm toast, bacon and an egg, etc, you know the kind of thing. It was an adequate way to begin the day.

Always friendly staff , the amount of footfall and the place is always promptly cleaned , food great , if any issues always sorted immediately Staff members are a credit to the place

I use weatherspoons daily.Spending around £20 to 30 a time. Last Friday 12th January I left my half full glass on the table while I went to the toilet and for a cigarette. Ten minutes roughly. When I returned it had gone! This has happened a couple of times.es before. A woman who said she wasn't working that day but she was a manager said she would look into it. As she walked away I'm afraid I swore not at her.at the situation. She then tried to take my drink away.i refused to let her unless she refunded my money. As I would have lost the price of 2 drinks. When I asked why the first drink had been taken.she said it could have got spiked!! When I managed to finish my drink she said I had laid my.hands on.her. not true I left the.pub and walked a couple of hundred yards to another one. She followed me put her phone in my face and said what's your name and took the a photo. Saying she was reporting me to the police and pub watch. THE bar staff couldn't.believe it. I am 71 yrs old retired and use the pubs in.Brigg a lot I am not know for causing trouble anywhere. But I have complained about some of the staff attitude before. Some of them should not be in the job.if I am barred from your pub it won't be right but to report to pub watch would be very wrong.

Very popular and clean. Friendly service, a large number of tables and decent food. I had the 'Double American Cheeseburger' with chips (the burgers have noticeably shrunk in size though since I have last visited one of the chain). It is one of the better Wetherspoons that I have been to and I would return.

We eat at the White Horse at least once a week primarily on a Saturday Afternoon. My Wife ordered the "All Day Breakfast Brunch" i ordered the "Large Mixed Grill" as usual. When the Meals arrived my Wifes Meal was cold and Fried Eggs Solid. My Mixed Grill came cold aswell and was missing the Fried Eggs and Two Sausages. We spoke to a member off Staff about the Issues and he Dismissively said he would sort it. Waited a few Minutes and the two missing Sausages turned up "But No Eggs" We waited Yet Again for the Eggs to turned up " Only Because my Wife had to walk away from her already cold Meal to enquire about the Missing Eggs. They Eventually turned up. By this time Both Our Meals were ruined obviously. Whats even worse is the fact that the members of Staff supposedly dealing with this ridiculous situation didn't give a Jot. No apologies. No Putting things right. COME ON WHITE HORSE THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE !!!!!

Cold, poor cheap ham, slimy egg, will never return for food again...dirty restaurant with food under all tables, very noisy and not enjoyable at all, get a grip JD Wetherspoons! You've gone down the pan 😞

We use this Wetherspoons at least once a week. Today we Ordered the Large Mixed Grill and Fish & Chips as usual. It was all virtually Cold. Meats tough. Doesn't help when they have the Doors to the Smoking Area at the rear of the establishment jammed Open and the Front Doors to the Street Smoking Area also jammed open, so the Smoke drifts through the whole establishment from these Smoking area's !!!! Might aswell allow smoking internally aswell. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.......

Never visited this pub when its not busy. Its a Weatherspoon's so not haute cuisine, but its so reasonably priced. The coffee is tasteless. There are no locking doors in the gents, but otherwise its a great convenience.

Went to the garden centre and decided to eat out so came to the white horse in brigg.. lovely little village the pub was easily found at the end of the main street. We sat at our table after having to squeeze past other people to get by.. bit like sardines.. it's a very large restaurant running the full length of a decent size bar.. we had to ask for our table to be cleaned by shouting over the waiter. Who looked like a landlady was also on the floor, who with the 2 staff seemed to give us a wide berth.. we had burgers which were mediocre at best and could have been hotter.. worse thing was the staff who didn't seem at all happy to be there

So over the last few years I’ve written reviews on this place and like most, I suppose I’m more likely to write something if I’ve found something wrong. I think my last 2 were 3 stars mainly because of missing condiments….run out of ketchup, salt or whatever. So to be fair I’m now writing this when everything was spot on! Went Friday night. Place was heaving but was lucky to find a table. Used the app to order drinks and subsequently food and another round of drinks. Food excellent, service excellent, staff excellent. What incredible value for money.

No burgers available ! Three portions of fish and chips ordered.The fish portion was small,dry and overcooked with too much batter.Disappointing !

Delicious food always. Such good meat it’s always delicious and quality good. The prices are reasonable and a big variety of drinks.

We like JD Wetherspoons a lot. Just today been to the one in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. Food was excellent, service good and OBSsss excellent value for money as usual. Cutlery could be cleaner, and toilets could use a bit of love. Do not be put off. I'm certain that the issues will be spotted and corrected quickly. We travelled 20 miles to use the pub and will be back!

Food arrived barely warm. I was worried about the potential health ramifications for this so I went to the bar to lodge a complaint. I was civil at the bar and then I was followed by the manager to my seat. The manager was rude, offered no apology for the cold food and proceeded to lecture me in front of my whole family. He stood towering over the table waving his hands around lecturing me on the food being cold and proceeded to bring only one sauce which was missing from the order to the table when I had ordered two meals which was supposed to come with a side of sauce. He carried on with his speech which felt like a lifetime until I asked for a refund. Other people in my party were very hungry and did not want to forfeit their food for a refund so the manager very rudely carried on harassing me and refused to get me the sauce I had paid for. I asked for the manager he told me he was the manager. I asked for his name so I could lodge an official complaint and he would not give me it. No customer service skills evident here and food was burnt and cold, glad to never return.

Incorrectly ordered a couple of drinks and food to the wrong Wetherspoon. Spoke to them and asked if they could transfer the drink order to the correct one, I understand the food had been cooked so accept this wasn’t transferable, the drinks though I thought could either be transferred or refunded. Was told that this was not possible and staff rude. Please avoid as terrible service

Great staff great service poor food I ordered the freshly battered fish and chips with mushy peas withing 6 minutes of my order via the app my food was delivered to my table, first thing that struck me was the colour of my chips, a burnt over cooked colour however some of the chip were quite undercooked, I'm no chef but I am a cook and that tells me the oil was way to hot and the chips cooked way to fast the fish was good tasty and the mushy peas were good

The manager on shifts attitude is disgraceful. Spoke to them over the phone regarding an error with a payment via the Wetherspoons app. When we called them to speak to them they said they couldn’t do a refund as the food and drinks had been taken to the table…..when asked if someone accepted the drinks she said “no when the drinks was taken out no one was sat there” and apparently still allowed the kitchen to “make the food”. When we told her we were going over she said “oh sh*t” and hung up. One of the drinks wasn’t drank or wasted as it was a can. Still no offer to even refund that. When we arrived the young girl on the bar said she would go and get the shift manager and came back and said she had gone home when she was actually hiding in the pot wash room. They couldn’t do a refund for a genuine error but if you are unhappy with your food will throw cash and a desert. Yes it was a slight error on our part but absolutely nothing from them whatsoever. Why would you cook food for an empty table? Menu is a lot smaller than it used to be and service is slow. Wouldn’t waste your time. Spend that little extra and go to Greene King!

Lots of choice. We had pizza and baked potato with tuna and salad. Both dishes were tasty and well cooked. Good choice of beer and wine. Helpful, friendly staff. Good value for money.

Called in to get a bottle of water only to be told we are out of still but can offer fizzy.I was not keen but was offered a glass of tap water with lemon and ice.All free of charge.this is proper customer service WELL DONE.very impressed

I recently visited the White Horse with friends and purchased food and drink via the online app as encouraged to do by staff due to covid restrictions. I made a mistake on the app and put in the name of another weather spoon pub which had a very similar name (The White House). This was a very easy mistake to make due to the names and one I'm sure has been done before by customers. Due to this I did not receive my order as to was sent to the wrong pub. The staff and the Manager at the White Horse were very unhelpful they were not willing to cancel or speak top their partner to resolve the issue and would not not provide the order and refused to offer a refund. Sadly we had already spent a lot throughout our afternoon and after this decided to leave to another pub who were much more accomodating and helpful (they even got a tip)!I contacted customer services afterwards who basically said its my own fault and they were not willing to do anything. I am only glad I had not placed a huge expensive order and I feel sorry for those who make this mistake too as I am sure there will be many, especially those not confident with ordering through apps.Really disappointed in Weatherspoons customer service and in particular the staff at the White Horse in Brigg.

Had a ride out to Brigg for Market day. Having never visited before we ended up in the White Horse, for lunch.The food was good and the service by the young people was excellent. They were very polite and happy to help us.

Went for a long overdue breakfast date with my daughter and was left totally disappointed.We ordered our food and drinks via the Weatherspoons App, as is requested, although the table behind us shouted to a passing waiter they wanted Table Service and he came took their breakfast and drinks order.We were still waiting for our drinks to come and they got their drinks and food orders within minutes - we checked to ensure our order had gone through on the App, which it had, so continued to wait. Finally, our breakfast order came out, both ordered Eggs Benedict, poached eggs slightly overcooked for our liking but both meals were freezing cold! And we still hadn't received any drinks!! Called a member of staff over, who said she'd get our meals replaced ASAP and she was on her own doing drinks orders that was why we hadn't received them! Now if the place was busy and totally packed out her somewhat feeble excuse would have been viable but it wasn't busy, in fact she was just swanning up and down the bar area busy doing absolutely nothing. She returned to our table empty handed, and reckoned we hadn't received any drinks cos we hadn't ordered any - we promptly showed her our order on the App, that clearly showed 1 x 99p refillable coffee and 1 x orange juice! Her next excuse was that it hadn't come through on her system - what an absolute joke, food order had gone through but the drinks order hadn't - even though we'd been charged for food and drinks!! Our replacement Eggs Benedict finally arrived plates and food hot but the poached Eggs were actually hard boiled!! We again called the waitress over and were told "for future reference" all poached eggs aren't cooked on site but arrive pre-cooked so that's why they were overcooked as its hard to gauge them when reheating due to not knowing how pre-cooked they are in the first place! All I can assume is that the 4 poached eggs that where for our order must have been pre-cooked to the point of no return in the first place!!! We asked for our money back which, because we ordered through the App, we will now have to wait 14 working days for it to be refunded back to the card used for payment!! What an absolute farce!!! But, praise where praise is due - a big well done to the "lone" bar person for her outstanding repertoire of excuses which far exceeded her customer service and people skills!So if you're thinking of going for a "Spoons" breakfast in Brigg my advice to you - just "for future reference" - would be drive the extra few miles to The Bluebell in Scunthorpe !!!!

We have been coming to The White Horse for years.Our recent visit was not great. 5 members of staff grouped together talking to each other in plain sight of us sitting there waiting for anyone of them to interact with us.Noone came over. With today's covid carry on you are expected to have the APP well i am sorry but not everyone has the APP they're phone memory may be full as was mine. Surely it is normal polite practice to come over to greet guests and ask if we needed table service.??? We were advised by a serving lady to shout over at them. Well i do not expect to shout over to 5 staff talking when they should be attentive. Not impressed.

We popped in here just for a drink, ended up getting some chips as well. There weren't any tables left so we were put in the corner at the window, which I didn't mind (I like to people watch!). However this area absolutely stunk of damp which was quite off-putting when you are eating. We ordered through the app, and as always, the food came within 15 mins. Service was fine as well. Food was fine - it's generic Wetherspoons food so the same whichever Wetherspoons you visit! Would visit again and ask to be sat somewhere else...

I have loved this place since it opened but feel during restrictions it seems to be going downhill, the staff are great, but it's now attracting a youth (not all) element that seem to disregard all covid rules, the sad part for me is that they are not being policed and enforced, especially the no smoking areas, please Witherspoon's get a grip of this, though I know it's part of the dystopian society we live in.

Food was bang average, onion rings was like rubber. The waiter reece I believe his name was very helpful & very cute! A credit to the team I’ll be in soon to see him again😉

We visited this evening and I was very disappointed by the woman that served us. We ordered pink gin spritz via the app. Gin, lemonade ahd strawberry. When it arrived it had soda water in it. We told the waitress, she went away and came back very bluntly saying, it should be soda, we said order this a lot and know it should be lemonade. She replied “no it’s not our fault you ordered it wrong”, we said we hadn’t and would like the correct drink. She replied “ no, you can’t have a fresh one as you’ve ordered it wrong”, we then again said no we haven’t. She became annoyed and said that she will ask Danny again, turning abruptly and leaving the drinks on the table. After waiting 10 MINUTES a different lovely, polite young waitress came over and apologised. Saying they didn’t know it was lemonade and not soda.....very strange when we are in there regularly and usually correct. The first waitress was very rude and confrontational, no customer service skills at all, in hospitality it’s a must. Also the staff should really know what the ingredients are in the drinks they offer. By the way there was no strawberry but couldn’t be bothered with the attitude again. I doubt we will be returning, which is disappointing as we used to frequent regularly.

On entry all covid restrictions in place which was reassuring ordered of the small plates menu all good all order of the app also the beer a special mention must go to the young man called Tom who works behind the bar as we use this place often he rememberedfrom the last time my wife likes a bitter shandy and I like a straight glass a pleasant surprise all the staff are so nice a thankyou from us both

I really enjoyed the food it was scrumptious and the service I received was excellent! I came into contact with one of your colleagues Bianca and she was so helpful and friendly. She couldn’t do enough! She deserves praise for this!

Ordered a burger, came with no onion rings or BBQ sauce.Waitress dropped half the chips of my girlfriends plate, went away to bring some more left the ones on the floor.Placed the plate of chips on the table walked away and never came back.Think more staff and training should be given.........

This was a very nice spoons, my boyfriend and I called in here for lunch with it’s great prices for students and we both enjoy the food, it was a better run and cleaner spoons in a good location.

Said our table was down the bottom. The only one there hadn’t been tidied and cleaned. Sat down and got rudely told off for by Claudia for sitting down. “You can’t sit down it’s not been sanitised. Fair enough but there are nicer ways of asking. We’d already waited outside for 10 mins and me having recently had an operation on my spine cannot stand for very long - hence me sitting down.Waited a further 5 minutes for it to be cleaned. 2 staff members had already gone past and said “I’ll be back in a minute to do it” or “give me 2 mins”. In the end it was cleaned. Wasn’t told it was ready, she just walked to the food area so I asked. I was then told “yeah” in a very rude and can’t be bothered to be here tone. I questioned “Jodies” attitude to be then argued with. Her voice got louder, ruder and much more stroppy and we as a family were being shouted at. My son said he was going to see the manager. However as soon as he went to go and find one, Jodie had beaten him to it obviously knowing who the manager is. She literally ran to this person not wanting to get into trouble knowing full well she was in the wrong so told a pack of lies. Don’t know whether it was a manager or not but she was siding with Jodie without hearing from us what had happened. This other staff member then told my son we needed to leave!I sat and waited for this person to come to the table which she did. When I advised her on the tone of both staff members and that my son was raising his voice because Jodie was shouting at him, and how rude and arrogant both staff members had been she seemed to see our point of view. Jodie was saying she had the right to be respected. Do we not have the right as customers to be respected also and be served appropriately?We were allowed to stay and have our meal but wish we hadn’t. Both said staff members were trying to intimidate us by telling their colleagues and laughing about the situation. My sons girlfriend felt very uncomfortable. My burger was stone cold in the middle, but I didn’t say anything because what had just happened. I am now quite poorly having been sick from eating this food. I will not be visiting again. If this is how Wetherspoons treats it’s customers with rude, obnoxious staff and food which isn’t cooked properly - personally I think this was done on purpose for the staff to take revenge but it’s totally unacceptable and bang out of order. Maybe a complaint to the relevant authorities is in order too.

Have been e few times since lockdown was eased so first the positives: lots of sanitiser on entry and throughout the pub, lots of space created so social distancing is easy and screens up between tables where necessary. Tables cleaned a sanitised between customers and toilet access touch free with doors wedged open. Full marks for these arrangements. However.....no obligation to complete test and trace forms, iCloud signal is weak so using the app to order is difficult especially in the beer garden. First few times we went everything went smoothly, plenty of tables free, service and food great. But it seems no allowance was made for the half price food deal. Went on Tuesday, place was busier than it had been but this obviously came as a shock to Wethers as it wasn’t staffed up appropriately. I overheard staff telling a customer that kitchen was overwhelmed with orders so they had turned the app off for a while to allow them to catch up! The result of this was long queues at the bar. Come on Wethers, if you want to encourage people to return to your pubs, get the staffing sorted. We managed to get a table and order drinks before the app was switched off but then gave up on ordering food and left. Wethers loss is Lord Nelson’s gain - and a fine meal we had there!

Ordered chicken bacon cheese panini , there was no cheese in it and no filling chips cold bar lady very rude to me won’t be returning

this is the first time we have been to spoons for breakfast since the the start of lockdown.We had ordered our breakfast(which was fantastic) and on recieving our order from the less than happy watress, i think her name was "beth" she proceded to hand my partner her plate of food over the top my 15 month old baby boys head which isnt great. Then did the same again when she returned with the sides i had ordered. Plus i had ordered the sides of extra sausage and has browns seperate because my partner is a veggie and they turned up all on one plate.

Yay a good review of a spoons at last, stopped for Breakfast, my eggs benedict perfect! Two traditional breakfasts eaten by the others with no complaints, quick service and two very polite and efficient servers on this morning 14/3/20. Only constructive criticism was the usual lack of staff but at this time it is only to be expected. Great ambassadors of the brand..

While visiting relatives nearby we visited three times for good value and decent quality food and drink with usual Wetherspoons value for money.

Cheap drinks friendly atmosphere probably the busiest pub in the area, although we didn't eat here the food coming out looked good and the clean plates going back are generally a good indicator

Spoons food has gone downhill . Much smaller portions and cheaper ingredients. The pub ànd staff are nice. Avoid the food. Rather have a fortnight all inclusive holiday in Wuhan province.

The white horse is an perfect venue for drinks. Excellent outdoor beer garden, lovely interior but spoiled by the endless dirty plates left on tables and food trodden in to the flooring. The staff simply stand around chatting, rather than clearing the tables and cleaning. Great value for money but I wont eat here again. It feels dirty.

Went for breakfast food mediocre very small portions and once again served cold. Tired off complaining about my food order being served cold so I’ve decided not to eat at this “restaurant “again. They never seem to serve on warm plates and if you sit near the serving area food is left under heat lamp for quite a while. Yes this place is cheap and cheerful but it needs to be palatable.

For a reliable dinner, good service and reasonable prices and an array of drinks, you can’t get much better than Whetherspoons White Horse Brigg

I came here because my son had recommended the fish and chips. However, they were not available this particulalr Sunday evening. So I asked for a smoky Brie burger instead but that wasn't available because there was no Brie apparently. Same reason I couldn't have the Ultimate burger. Ended up having the Tennesee burger which was supposed to have a Jack Daniels in the bbq sauce - but I couldn't detect any. And when I went to the toilets the floor was so slippery through excess water that another diner actually slipped right over onto their backs. Looked and sounded very painful and I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a claim for personal injury for that person put through. All in all, a pretty dissappointing experience and one which I won't be in a hurry to repeat.

Went for the soup with panini, soup was cold sent it back and obviously just put in microwave cos came back with skin on it and too hot it was bubbling , in the same dish which was now too hot to touch , sons meal had 10 peas on it , person behind bar was serving his friends before any other customers stood waiting ages whilst they finished conversation about what’s happening at the weekend , won’t be returning , not offered anything full meal left untouched

I have visited many of the Wetherspoons pubs and this one is very often under staffed behind the bar. With one member of staff posted only for online orders (and nothing else it seems). Often many deep at the bar with only 2 serving, I'll pass in future.

Recently visited at lunchtime with friends. Fish chips mushy peas and a drink for under £6. What a bargain tasty too would recommend

Came out for a breakfast on Sunday morning to find they have no poached eggs but can do fried or scrambled on eggs royal. Settled for fried eggs on this to then have the bar maid come out to say there's no salmon or strawberries for the pancakes. Are you well organised big company or just playing at catering? It's not as though it's average prices for average food, there's a small restaurant down the road the do a big breakfast cheaper and the quality is like night and day.

Had lunch here today, all four of us had the lamb shank. Which states it comes with mash and veg. All four had mash but only three had veg, so we asked the waitress where the veg was on the other plate and she said, they come in pre packed nothing I can do about it, we don’t have veg. So not the best response. My cutlery was dirty and it wasn’t very warm in the pub.You can not argue with value for money but I wouldn’t rush back to this Wetherspoons.

I eat it on a monthly basis with either myself and girlfriend or my family of four, the food and the service is always good.

My title says it all. You cannot go wrong for value for money regarding drinks. However yesterday's visit....and we go very often....has put us off returning for food again. This happened last summer but things improved. Yesterday? Mostly inedible.

We often take dad to this pub cos he likes the lamb shank. We have been today and the service was terrible . I counted 10 meals sat waiting to come out (outs were among them) the guy giving out meals told the girl he was going to the bathroom, she was pottering about and chatting to people and still the meals sat there! We eventually got our meals but was not asked if all was ok and dishes not removed until dessert was delivered! I went to the bar . 3 of us waiting but the barman just served who ever came up in front of him!!! When I questioned him he said that he was on his own!!!! I will not rush back lamb shank or no.

Quick lunch after dropping a friend off. Jacket potato, coleslaw, salad & extra salad. Well all i can say is LUSH!! Far nicer than the same food by the same company in cleethorpes! You get a whole tomato and onion with ur spud unlike spoons in cleethorpes. The young female manager who is there is running a tight ship (as they say) here in Brigg, just a few small issues: the young waitress threw the plates of food on the table and said ‘enjoy’ & a small amount of brown lettuce. All in all i would recommend The White Horse, in Brigg..

Just been for lunch, not something I will do again in a hurry. The food is ok but the staff really need some training. Sat down at a table that needed clearing (it wasn’t the only one) eventually someone came and took the dirty plates, didn’t bother to come back and wipe the table! I used my own wipes. Menus were sticky and dirty, sauce bottles empty, not a good impression. Nearly every table had dirty glasses on but I must have counted half a dozen times when staff brought food out and went back empty handed, as an ex landlady this is a basic lack of training.

The staff are so rude and do not care about customer service. The worst one is the mangers she is horrendously rude. Waited 40 minutes for food and when we complained the manager called me a liar and that it was my own fault and that she couldn’t make the kitchen cook quicker even though other people had received their food. The food them came out wrong. We received no apology at all. I am disgusted with the service. They all need a lesson in customer service and the manager is terrible!

Typical weatherspoons.. reasonable priced food of a good standard .. however what sets this one apart is its a lovely building in a nice village! Ok for lunches and evening meals

Cheap and not so cheerful. Food is pub food and is ok. They often dont have what you order but they dont tell you that at the till. They wait for 15 minutes then come to your table and tell you, so your partners get their food first and your still waiting. Service not the best. Some staff are lovely and helpful.

Typical Wetherspoons food and drink - tasty and good value for money as well as the food arriving very quickly on a busy night.

Ordered breakfast at 11:15 despite several queries and promises food never arrived. You know that sinking feeling when everyone around you, arriving after you, is getting served (albeit with food meant for other tables)? At 12.30 we got refund and left. How difficult can it be to expedite missed orders? I guess if you’re making stacks of money your business doesn’t have to give a toot about customer satisfaction.

Went in for lunch today and either by our fault or the apps fault ordered an extra pizza,immediately realising the mistake wenr to the tills and explained(within 2 mins) all good told card would be refunded in 2/3 working days,5 mins later a young lady brought us the refund in cash to save us waiting,exelent service.5 mins later our food arrived and so did the manager who berated us in front of a full pub and insisted we wouldn't be getting a refund as 3 min after ordering food it is prepared.when i mentioned i wasnt happy with the way we were spoken to she gave a couldnt care responce of"your compaint will come to me so I'll be the one replying" not impressed

Been there 3 times this year.first time they'd run out of Christmas dinner.second occasion was steak night, and most steaks sizes were gone.took an hour to get the main so that took us past the pubs curfew on kids so there was no dessert.third time no curry, no grills, and what we got was cold. Not even hot enough for the cheese on the burger to melt!

All the food is S**T who gave the chefs a qualification on how to work a F*****g microwave? Beer is good though , would recommend drinks but not food , unless you’re hungover and feel like eating rat soup 😁

I pop in here for a late Breakfast - 11:30 is the best time as 12:00 is the finishing time and the Breakfast seems to be fresher - My theory is, its cooked to order after 11:30 the quality is better. The quality is ok before this time, but arrives at your table quicker than it takes to order it which make me think it’s off the hotplates - For those who remember Little Chef it’s about that level and as consistent.

Brigg is a really interesting pleasant town, and The White Horse is set at the end of a pedestrian precinct. A good bar, friendly staff, prompt service. All was clean and comfortable. Good choice of beer and great value

Clean and tidy pub. Had a large breakfast which only about 10 mins to arrive. All of it was warm and very enjoyable.

We had an enjoyable meal in Brigg. Just basic food cooked and served really fast to our table. We were not disappointed.

Went here for di ner with mum and dun bank holiday Monday. So busy but managed to get a table we all had burgers me and mum had grilled chicken and brie burger with chilli ham! Was so tasty and very filling Don had tenessee burger and he really enjoyed it. Only waited about 20 mins for meal to arrive so we'll done to all the staff

The decor was as expected for a venue of this kind. Tables and chairs were wooden and well spaced apart. The food was cooked fresh - although not everything on the menu was available. Service was faily swift, once the order had been taken. The place was fairly busy for a weekday.

We have used this Spoons before and always good,called today for breakfast though busy food came in quick time and was fine.Nice clean loo's and pleasant service.Will be back soon.

Called into the White Horse in Brigg for a meal. Great value meals. with very quick service. Could do with seperate area for families, so Couples can enjoy there meals without uncontrolled children running around when you are trying to relax.

I come here frequently with family and friends for food and have always experienced great service and lovely food. The ability to order from an app at your table is perfect for busy times and doesn't affect how wuickly your food comes out.

We visited on a Saturday night as we where in a hotel for 1 night in the area.

Very busy early evening on Thurs 21 Feb 2019- THE BIGGEST CURRY NIGHT ANYWHERE IN WETHERSPOONS. Why if they know how popular it is don't they put more staff on? I gave up waiting. Just 2 bar staff for food and drink. Nowhere near enough. No pot collectors. You have to clear the tables yourself. Surprising for a slick operator like this.Saving on staff can increase profits but sometimes it can be counter productive and ends up losing the business money.

Can not go wrong here, fantastic food great service as always. Also can't beat the choice of ales on offer. Considering how busy the pub gets we only waited 20 minutes for food which I think is reasonable.

Always pleased at White Horse. The meals are suitable for a family visit at lunch time. Good for a couple evening meal. Great for a group gathering. Good value and good quality meals.

Good hot food served on warmed plates. Excellent value both on quality and pricing. Staff are always pleasant.

Had a really bad day at work desperately needed a pint. The lass behind the bar believe her name is Sydney pulled a stunning pint and really improved my day. Very well spoken and just her overall chat really did give a great service. Credit to the pub:) also very easy on the eye haha

Well we come here quite often but the last 3 times I have to say the standards are slipping somewhat ....... I appreciate the staff are busy at the breakfast time but they could make sure the breakfasts are actually cooked and look presentable ????
