Everything was good. Quiet midweek. Prices could be seen as expensive if don't have a voucher. Food was lovely and service was great

The staff here are the best out of all the pubs in Ashby. Great selection of well kept beers, entertainment at the weekends, and the food is excellent. My local, and (almost) my second home. Would recommend to all.

Great pub, new landlord has turned it into the pub it used to be. Food massively improved and the beer is fantastic. Staff are friendly and know their stuff, especially Ben and George. Would highly recommend

Great service. Bar staff are great! Pub is always clean even during busy hours and there is always still a buzz when the pub is quiet. Food is also great! They always have sport showing and are happy to change to something if you ask them (as long as there isnt a main event on). They have a great quiz every wednesday. They have an open mic night once a month on a thursday which is always good fun and people always having a great time. Amazing atmosphere.

Still the best of Ashby. First class service from excellent staff. The whole place oozes friendliness. Drinks good, food good, atmosphere excellent.

Ordered food at 1:30pm for five people, and was asked if a 45 minute wait would be okay. We said yes that's fine but it is now 3pm and still no food. We have just been offered a refund but the children are very hungry and although it's fine to wait a bit longer on a Saturday, over an hour and a half is no fun for anyone, especially with three children waiting for lunch. Good atmosphere otherwise and okay for drinks & bands instead.

Pleasant staff who did ask us if everything was ok. Menu was limited and different to website menu. Hunters chicken should have been "smothered" in BBQ sauce as menu stated but very small amount of sauce. Would have preferred home made chips rather than frozen ones . Steak,ale and mushroom pies- filling tasty but small pies and gravy that was served in a jug was very watery. Would have liked coleslaw with chicken. Indoor and outdoor seating available .

Came back to try the food steak and ale pie and hunters chicken were lovely. Served by Ben who was brilliant. New manager has got it right!

Valentina always has a smile on her face every time I’m in, she’s always polite. Wine selection does need improving.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights is amazing but jam nights are brilliant and the talent is fantastic. Usually served by Sylv who is absolutely wonderful; always has a smile on her face and never fails to brighten our day! Would highly recommend.

Fabulous visit. The staff are so friendly especially Ben who made us feel so welcome. The food was amazing the Steak and Ale pie is mouthwatering delicious, top marks to Ben the chef. Great selection of drinks with great offers. The Live music was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. 5 stars to The White Hart that is now my regular pub.

Eat here often, really tasty food, nice to have a good choice on the menu, had a lovely salad and scampi and chips. Waiting time wasn’t long and the service and atmosphere is very friendly.

Visited the White Hart yesterday. Our first visit since new landlord, Mike Herrod, took over. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. The beer was in excellent condition and we were only sorry that we couldn’t have stayed longer. In addition the service throughout was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. Well done Mike and team 👍

I booked a table online for food. Arrived to be told they ‘don’t really take bookings’ and they were only doing food for another 10 mins. The website seems to explain a completely different place to the actual venue, and yes I’ve checked we went to the right place.

What happened to the Ex-Forces Breakfast Club ? 3 of us arrived to find premises locked - waited 30 minutes then went home !!

Very oldy worldy pub with parts that are very modern " covered big screen area outside " food looked and smelt lovely , will definitely go back to eat in the future. Nice friendly staff with a lot different area's with lovely types of seating

We stopped here for food before we visited the castle ruins. Everyone was happy, even the dog! Great food, good portion sizes, happy family!

Driving around searching for traditional pub grub on a bank holiday afternoon is harder than you think!! Came in here and the staff and landlord were amazing. They don't usually serve food on a Monday but we're brilliant and cooked us some loaded fries, they were amazing and great prices. Honestly we will be back, really lovely pub and the only one I know with a bear peering up at you from the floor 😁

Went to a friend's 50rh in the room at the back. Pub was rammed with a live band on too. Great atmosphere and a while since I've been back to Ashby,but White Hart will be visited again.😉

Revisited this pub after 20+ years as I remembered the bear under the floor! Took the wife and daughter in for a look, and the staff were able to let my daughter get a closer look at the bear which was fantastic! Good local beers and a real pub feel.

Maddi Served me at the White Heart and it was the best service I have ever received, she impressed my mum so much that she asked me to write this to praise the young girl, we got talking to her and she explained how she was an aspiring performer, me and my mum found this so inspirational and if she sees this we really wish you the best in life! The food and drinks were okay. We will be returning only for Maddi, when I tell you I have never seen anybody pour a pint as well as her! If anyone goes in make sure you ask for Maddi she’s very friendly and definitely a friendly face to have a chat with! We will always give her a huge tip, Well done Maddi!

I came in on Saturday with a bunch of friends, went up to the bar to order and was served by Maddi. She was absolutely lovely and made sure all of my friends were served before moving on to any other customers. She was extremely polite and friendly and made the experience at white hart great! My friends and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Maddi!!

Top notch pup with crackin boys called Matt and George who are very very nice to their employees and customers. If you need a pint … this is the place 10/10 100% would drink here again! A happy face when you walk through the door that makes you want to stay and I will stay! Come to the white hart in ashby it’s the best place to be :) :) :)

Been there for first time on Sunday it had a lovely atmosphere

A lovely friendly pub and very trustworthy. After a great night out watching the band play last night, I had lost my purse. The Landlord messaged me and I was reunited with it today with all money and cards intact. My faith in honesty has been restored.

I had my wedding party here last weekend and it was awesome, the DJs played great music, they also took photos on the night and played them on a projector along with photos provided to them, the dancefloor lit up (with my sick moves) and the the buffet was delicious. The area is large enough for 70 people to party in comfortably without being so big you feel like you're at your old school disco. The staff were very good at the bar and all our guests have been saying how much fun they had. Great night, great atmosphere, great fun.

Fabulous fabulous food at a decent price. A classic drinkers pub, could do with a few larger, newer tables (some felt a little crammed into corners. Excellent sports viewing room.

Such a great night watching the football, never thought I’d go in that pub again but told it had been cleaned up. It’s true such a different place now, even the wife came in as was totally amazed
