We popped in for a quick lunch - fancied something a little different so tried the lamb kofte wraps. Wow! Absolute taste sensation and presented beautifully - just delicious!

It was nice on arrival was quite empty at the time. I come here quite often I love the atmosphere and the food. However on this visit we had our food brought over by a weightier called luke thought nothing of it was all going good he came back asked how the food was it was great as normal no problem. The problem started was when we were nere the end of our meal the weightier luke was hovering around us asking numerous times if we are finished cleaning tables that were already cleaned near us constantly asking if we were done my partner gave up on eating and said yes were done. We wanted dessert but we felt that uncomfortable we just left

Always enjoyed the food here, but today was a total let down. Booked but when arrived was told this table is reserved for someone else later so had to be out by time they arrive. Their name and reservation left on the table. We order two roasts and another meal for son. Normally the roasts were amazing. This time. Potatoes sunken in and really dark ,soggy and cold. The beef was extremely chewy and dry. Spoke to the waiter who didn't know what to do. Though pleasent enough. Went to the bar and was refunded the roast price. Under our tabl was full of food from previous customers. The restaurant was empty apart from couple of tables so no excuse for cleanliness. We were told the chef had binned all the beef since we spoke. So they must of known how bad it was. So disappointed. Our Easter meal spoilt

Always great service. Always quick to the table, great atmosphere, always very tasty, well priced. Staff are always friendly. The steak and ruddles ale pie was delish and recommended as is any fish plate 😋

Had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Firestation Cafe today. The Owner Jake is a wonderful man and always makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. I decided to enjoy some coffee ☕️ and dinner and it was delicious 🤤…… Cooked to perfection! I ordered the Cajun Chicken which is one of my favourites on the menu.Very Tasty and Satisfying……. Thank you Jake & Lauren for the welcome today, for your hospitality😃 and the delicious food.

There was 1 person in room apart from us , the table wasnt even decorated for a Christmas meal . 8 of us asked for the festive meal , only to be told there is no TURKEY . We changed it for chicken and waited . 8 roast chicken dinners came to us , and 1 freshly cooked Lasagne ALL BURNT . After complaining 3 times and refusing to pay bill we agreed to pay 50'/. Of the bill . Next day we sent a complaint to the Manager Dave Cobb who firstly wished us a lovely christmas ??? Spoke briefly about our Stern critique ??? , ( it was not a criticism it was a COMPLAINT !!! ). There was no genuine apology from him , basically he said " it's impossible to satisfy every individual pallet ". Our pallets are great , it's the chef's cooking that's not palatable . It is a shame because the Hotel is lovely .

Westminster Road, HooleOur favourite place to come for brunch after football. The team, as always, went above and beyond with the orders for our family (all with different dietary requirements). The boys had the classic big breakfast with local products at a great price. I tried the weekend special eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The boys filled their boots. The girls enjoyed new things. The doorstop toast alone is worth the visit. Sadly, no room for my favourite one the menu - parsnip cake, but the cake-away option meant I could enjoy it later. We brought a friend for their first visit and she was blown away.

Plough Road, ChrisletonOur daughter got married here on the 1st of August what a beautiful beautiful wedding venue we were so lucky with the weather everything was perfect. The food was amazing and Mark was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole wedding planning process and on the day. Thank you thank you it was amazing!
