Wheelhouse Cafe Ltd in Blackpool

Tasty breakfast items to set up our family day in Blackpool. Fella who served us at till, great humour, he knew he could get away with it with me, myself and daughter appreciated it. Not enough of this in world at the mo! Shame the waffle portion wasn't bigger and a bit more bacon in barms. But a lovely bit of grub 😊

This spot is must go, was so lovely staff were freindly and super helpful. i got a wheelhouse burger with cheesy chips would recommend to anyone wondering what to order.

The worst breakfast I have ever experienced in 60 years It was cold, tasted of burgers (didn’t have any on a full breakfast!) great, over cooked, disgusting and over priced They had no ham! For a toastie. Which when it came had in-melted cheese and cold tomato The tea was foul and still had the tea bag in The best part was the bottle of water It makes McDonalds look Michelin Star!!!!!

Went to this place convenient we had young kids. Wish we never bothered. Staff were incompetents' surprised they had any food. They forgot one part of our order but of course it our fault three different staff came to sort their mess up. Food was bland overpriced Don't stop here if you want a sandwich or tea do if you want rude staff who blame customers for their mistakes.

After we spent some time on the rides, we decided to come in here for a hot chocolate and cup of tea. It was nice, but we didn't get chance to try the food as we felt sick from a few rides lol

I am distraught from the ant infection and the flee bites I’ve received from sitting on this pier and the food was cold and the staff were rude one staff called Olivia roberts was very nice and helped me with this situation

We visited the Wheelhouse Cafe whilst exploring Blackpool promenade. We walked from the south pier to the north pier. This was a nice accessible cafe to sit and enjoy a lunch/snack through the day! The food was nice yet simple, the staff were friendly, there was plenty of seating inside with a nice view of the sea/pier. Definitely worth a visit and good value for money!

Burgers were really dry, the restaurant was quite unclean despite not having too many people, they hadn’t half of the kids food available and some of the old menus were still out - which by the way, had a much better selection. The burgers were microwaved. I think the worst of it all was when the waitress came over carrying three plates, one of them was held high up on her chest and her hair was dangling down and touching my food. Only remote positive was that the chips were mediocre but probably has to be one of the worst places I’ve been to in quite some time. Genuinely - please don’t go there. It was a big mistake.

I hate to leave poor reviews, especially of small businesses. But i have to say how agast i am at the poor customer service at this establishment by the younger girls. I'm well travelled and have been to the poorest of the poor countries such as Tunisia and recieved better customer service by people who have nothing. Very very rude staff. Food was inedible and cold. Tables where grotty. And i witnessed one 'waitress' cough into her hands and proceed to take chips to a table without washing her hands... this is in the midst of COVID19. Appauling. Avoid!.

Very helpful and engaging staff, took time out to talk to my daughter, food was served hot and not a big wait. We visitied twice and on our second visit had a bit of feedback about the icecream which they went above and beyond (we didn't want them to do anything just wanted to point something out to them) to resolve with a smile on their face. If you're on the pier this is the place to eat and drink!

Visited here on a wet day with family. Staff friendly. Enjoyed chocolate covered fruit kebabs - nice thick chocolate and the fruit was fresh and juicy. Accompanied with freshly made milkshakes. The only issue was the kebabs were from one end and the shakes from the other so had to queue and pay separately for both, but it was quiet so no problem. The lady taking the order for shakes did say she could take the order and payment for fruit kebabs but she didn't know the prices; seems like a possible quick fix there. Otherwise perfectly pleasant.

Shocking customer service for paying customers. Refused to help when we were given chocolate and water blended instead of milk and ice cream! Staff shouting at customers for order numbers in a very quiet room! Then a staff member sneezed and ddint bother washing the hands she sneezed into during a covid 19 pandemic! Wouldn't attend again!

Came here with my boyfriend and his brother, we ordered, everything was fine, when our food come, the last said ‘ not sure which is which, but there ya go ‘ and walked off. We received our milkshakes, which was made from water and chocolate, we complained and nothing got done. Absolutely disgusting food, disgusting drinks and the customer service is shocking! Would never recommend this place. Awful!!!!

Visited this cafe on central pier for our tea its recently been decorated and extended looks fab now. The staff were all friendly and the updated menu has plenty of choice ,the food is good value for money and tasty. Would recommend a visit here whether its for drinks food or icecream.

On central piet cold and rainy feb day, all around us shut until holidays. Wheelhouse (although only prepping for next week) let us in and did us hot drinks. Very kind.

we went to this 2nd rate dump on halloween night, soon as we walk in,we had a unfriendly welcome,told rudly to shut the door by a cocky girl with no customer,grumpy face,also snap there was no food. the coffe the worst i ever had,very nasty taste, dirt and run down, not cheap,for 2nd rate service and drinks. avoid,avoid,avoid. staff seem dim witted and not nice at all.

After a day strolling around we came across this lovely cafe on the pier. Excellent service and prices were very reasonable, so much so we ended up here most days of our trip. The did all our children’s favourites hotdogs, burgers, milkshakes, slushes and cakes. I loved the panini’s and My husband says the did a good cuppa aswell.

We stopped for a coffe and ice cream all very reasonably priced. Staff all lovely very friendly and helpful. Cafe was basic little cafe but clean and nice views over the water.

Lovely friendly and clean cafe. Food is reasonable priced. Good service. Lovely view of the beach and sea while enjoying your meal.

Called in for a cup of tea, ended up staying for lunch.Walm welcome upon arrival.Tea was freshly made in a large mug.For lunch I had the tuna/mayo wrap, which came with a side salad.Great location on the pier, looking out over the sand and sea.The place was clean and tidy.I thought in total it was reasonably priced and would visit again

This Cafe is on the Pier. Bit rough n ready, but food & Drink ok. Typical if a mediocre seaside cafe.

Looked nice inside that was about as good as it got. Tea was like dish water, let the customers put their own milk in!! Chips arrived, wish they hadn't. Greasy, crispy, brown in places, looks like they had been used again and again and again. Will never go back, they can't even get the chips right! Daughters crisps were good!

Sat here right now just got dinner £20 for burger xhips and three drinks no big plates just a fork and a dirty mayo bottle, staff friendly and polite though and the food is tasty though.

We sat outside with an ice cream enjoying the fantastic views. The ice cream was very good there were a reasonable number of flavours to choose from and we were served by a very friendly and helpful young lady

We stopped of at the Wheelhouse cafe for a cake (rocky road £1.70, same for other cakes: carrot cake, chocolate brownie, cornflakes cake, etc) and a drink. Food prices were reasonable

Come here once a month or so for breakfast. The staff are typically polite and efficient and the food/drink reasonable quality.

Had snacks here ,only ones in and was ok maybe prices a bit expensive .basic cafe and could do with a upgrade and tlc,lovely views.

Visted Saturday 12th for airshow with my 2 young boys. Very busy but quick service taking drink orders first. Staff were lovely, food came quick and was very nice and not bad priced. Will be returning for switch on !

Enjoying a walk on central pier on a busy sunny day and popped in Wheelhouse Cave for a snack lunch. Staff friendly and efficient place clean and tidy and used tables cleared quickly and efficiently. Really enjoyed our chip butty...good portion and beautifully cooked chips. No brew as hot day so had bottled water and the carrot cake was delicious.

Went in for a quick, and won't be back Had a cup of tea and the mug was filthy, my partner also seen one of the staff putting her finger up her nose, so glad I didn't order food

Terrible staff shouting at a new mum to put her pram down when baby is asleep in it should be ashamed, made to feel very unwelcome

Popped in here for a cup of tea and a cake on a warm sunny Blackpool afternoon .. its a small local cafe on the pier so if you set your expectations that it will give you the good basic meal and a low cost then this place shines well . we just had a drink but the prices were on target for this type of place and they did offer a wide range of food as well . The bonus were the tables and chairs outside on the pier in the shade that let you cool off on a hot day. great view of black pool as well.

Visited on a very wet and windy day. Great place for value for money and friendly staff. And shelter!

what a great place and a little gem this place is, the food is great and even puts a smile on my very fussy 11 year old. the staff are great and always happy. well worth a visit or two cheap prices great food and staff and nice and clean what more do you want.

Lovely little cafe. No frills, but great value and great portions; we saw the burgers and the were huge!!! We had 2 lovely coffees and 5 ice creams and it came to less than £11; service was friendly and fast too- well worth a stop off.
