We stumbled upon Wheatlands Farm looking for a casual dinner, and boy, did we hit the jackpot! For a ridiculously cheap price, we feasted like royalty on their "banging katsu banquet" and tandoori chicken sizzler. Let's just say, our expectations were blown away. First off, the katsu banquet was a dream. The chicken pieces were perfectly crispy, golden brown, and incredibly tasty. The curry sauce was thick, rich, and bursting with flavor – exactly what you want from a proper katsu! It was clear they don't skimp on quality, even with the low prices. Then there was the tandoori chicken sizzler. The chicken was beautifully marinated and cooked to perfection, with a lovely char and smoky aroma. It was served sizzling hot with vibrant peppers and onions, adding a fresh and colorful touch. We loved the DIY aspect of the fajitas, being able to assemble our own wraps with the fresh salad and sauces. The value for money at Wheatlands Farm is simply unbeatable. You get a mountain of food for a fraction of what you'd pay elsewhere. We left absolutely stuffed and completely satisfied. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a delicious, hearty meal that won't break the bank, look no further than Wheatlands Farm. We'll definitely be back to try more of their amazing dishes! Highly recommended! Always good, staff are excellent

After futile visits to two other venues we ended up at Wheatland’s Farm. We chose from the extensive menu and within a short while the food arrived. It varied from veggie Sunday lunch to, burger, chicken wings and lasagne. Everything was very good and reasonably priced. The service was very friendly and helpful. We’ll be back.

Booked ahead, because we expected it to be busy, however this was not the case. Very fast service, as there was no-one in! We both had the mixed grill, which was fine apart from the chewy rump steak. It has been a little while since we last visited, but the menu was exactly the same as before.

Sul sito è presente un intero menu dedicato solo al cibo senza glutine e lo stesso menu mi è stato consegnato anche all'arrivo al ristorante. Peccato che al momento di ordinare, e non all'arrivo, mi abbiano detto che fossero disponibili solo due scelte, invece delle decine presenti nel menu. Mi sono sentito mortificato: ho dovuto scegliere qualcosa che non mi piaceva molto, perché l'alternativa sarebbe stata digiunare.

what a great experience from start to finish. Booked it with Jack early in the year who sorted out our dietary needs then Steve and all the staff delivered magnificently on the day. Food quality , service and timings were excellent. Well done to everybody!!

Had Sunday dinner, 6 of us, fair prices and food is good

It's great for a spontaneous meal.There is always a warm welcome and something on the menu for everyone. The service is speedy.

Pleasant atmosphere, quick and polite service. Let down by the food. Portion sizes very small for the price and the rump steak was so tough I couldn't cut it let alone eat it, I asked for well done and expected the outside to be dark but the whole thing was as tough as old boots, waiter ignored this comment, had to leave almost all of it. Desserts were varied in portion size, one minute slice of baked Alaska with no ice-cream or cream compared to large slice of chocolate fudge cake with ice-cream.

Great value for money. Would recommend. Staff are lovely. Seven of us visited after a funeral. Good food. A regular place when visiting family.

Visit once a week for lunch and always receive a warm welcome. Great food, great value, fast service but most importantly for me all the staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble.

Sunday lunch: veg watery, beef dry, roast potatoes disappointing. Turkey and cauliflower cheese were nice. Original order was taken incorrectly but was corrected by a very nice lady.

We have eaten here many times but today my husband had the 12oz gammon as usual the portion was much smaller than usual. I did mention it to a member of staff and was told it shrinks when cooked ............ the pinaple tasted of fish.I've got to say the chicken sizzler was delicious.

Took the kids to the wacky warehouse and eat in there. Food was nice kids enjoyed my meal was lovely the tables were a little low for eating on as we were seated on coffee tables and it is a little dated in the wacky warehouse side but still really enjoyed it and will deffo be back again :) oh and the staff were lovely very friendly and spoke to the kids about Halloween lovely experience

Food OK, service great, atmosphere great.

£64 for 5 meals 3 which were kids meals all arrived chewy and rubbery. The children’s mac and cheese had been reheated to the point you could see it was reheated and not cooked fresh. Yes I am aware that most place precook meals this honestly looked like mac and cheese from the day before reheated. The tables we were at was extremely sticky and looked as thought it hadn’t seen a cleaning cloth for a number of days. The ‘ traditional beef lasagna’ had no beef in and was just pasta and rubbery cheese sauce. Will never be going to any of these restaurants again as other people have told us similar stories about this ‘establishment’ very very disappointing.

My goodness what an experience (a bad one). The ultimate sharing starter all tasted the same with little discerning flavour.we order the steak medium rare but it must have been sent from the crematorium up the road. It was black and very hard. The sides were clay cold and two different sauces were mixed up. One tasted of viniger and little else. Service was minimal. Only one person was serving a till on which meals were ordered while the other member of staff was twiddling their thumbs till someone wanted a drinks order alone. We were told to get our cutlery but there wasn't any to be had. Was made it worse there was a disgruntled employer ( or ex) who was swearing at the top of their voice and taking the micky out of some of the members of staff. She might have been called Charlotte..

The Wheatlands farm pub is a great place to eat and drink with an abundance of sport on the tv and a good atmosphere. My only negative is when the manager reserves tables in the bar area for his regulars/friends. It’s even more annoying when they don’t turn up for the table! In my opinion tables in the bar area shouldn’t be reserved. It should be first come first serve basis. Cheers.

Thank you to everyone in the Front of House and what a Great Meal. Service was 100% given and i was checked on twice by lovely members of staff to see if i needed anything and was everything alright. Toilets very Clean .The Bill was nothing to shy away from and Can i also say a huge Thank you to the KItchen Staff who also play a huge part in getting the Hot food out to the hungry customer's .This was a Visit back to Redcar with a Family Connection and a 1980's Something tracing the past Smile.. Next time i am here i will for sure come back for Pudding next time.

We come here quite often as were only just up the road. Food's always good, nice atmosphere, can't fault on price either.

Went here for a late lunch with my sister and brother in law. We were able to choose our table, we browsed the menu then went and ordered our lunch. It was easy to do and we ordered our drinks at the same time. When lunch arrived it was lovely, we all ordered something different and we all ate everything the food was hot and plentiful, and very tasteful. No one tried to hurry us up, it was a great lunch and a lovely place to enjoy a pleasurable afternoon. Called in this evening, had a lovely meal, as good as last time. A real pleasure to go to eat and relax.

I llve in an area where there are four Hungry Horse pubs locally. I have used them all regularly. What a surprise then to visit the Wheatlands Farm pub. Firstly the attractive building and landscaped car parks, the traditional pub ambience inside, no worn table tops or chipped paintwork like those I'm used to. Even the food, which is usually pretty good at these places, seemed just that little bit better and the staff were absolutely brilliant, so welcoming. Therefore, highly recommended. The only downside, I live 175 miles away.

I recently visited Wheatlands Farm and was disappointed to see how much it has gone downhill in the last few years. The burger was tasteless and dry, with a stale bun. While the fries were okay, the overall quality did not justify the cost, which was neither cheap nor expensive. We didn't stay for dessert, feeling let down by the whole experience for the second time lately. We have enjoyed this place in the past, but it is not as good now.

Perfect place for a family get together

Fantastic service all the time we were here. From ordering drinks to food for a table of 9. Even Happy enough to let us bring our own birthday cake and supplied plates and a knife to cut the cake with.

Visited with a small party for a birthday which coincided with an England match on the TV. The food was great value and was delivered quickly. Steve and his staff were really helpful and friendly as usual.

A great place to get a value meal, staff are brilliant and helpful also very cheerful, food tasty and you do get value for money, always plenty of meat on the mixed grill and sizzling platter, the chicken a bit odd though it's more like a processed meat, but all in all for budget and value and somewhere cheap and cheerful to take the family it's ideal, I'm just being picky and it's just my personal preferences, I did enjoy a good 90% on my plate and they have some amazing daily deals worth looking at. Me,personally didn't enjoy the Sunday dinner, it was frozen veg and the meat was chewy, the mash potato was starchy and didn't look fresh, IV had better, but if you want something cheap and cheerful and quick for Sunday lunch 7.99 each a good deal, I might of caught it on an off day.

I had fish & chips mushy peas which was ok, wife had an all day breakfast which looked like it'd been sat there since the morning (we went at 7pm)

Sunday lunch I had the beef which was stringy and tough to chew . Roast potatoes were burnt ,mash was like water ,peas and carrots were ok ,Yorkshire puddings unusual is all can say . Gravy that was brown and tasteless . I love my sunday lunches but I wouldn't go again to this venue

Appalling food—-ordered lasagna which tasted and smelt like beef stock cubes, the gravy was dark brown and there wasn’t even a hint of tomato. Disgusting worst lasagna I’ve ever tasted. Staff said the food comes in already prepared…yuck!!!!

Food is very nice, fairly priced and staff are helpful. Not usually very busy either (depending on what time you come) so you get your food quite quickly

This is a great pub if you've got kids. Has an indoor play area and an interactive dinner area. It also has quite the sun trap for an outside eating area Staff were lovely. Food came fast. They were considerate of dietary needs. Must admit the gammon was very salty and the gluten free options weren't very filling or even that exciting, but they were still good in a pinch.

We haven't been here in a while but have recently been back and was so impressed. The food is absolutely gorgeous, always comes hot and is really tasty. The staff are lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We have had a few meals in the Wheatlands Farm this last couple of weeks , We enjoyed all our meals and the staff were very pleasant and attentive , We will be back.

Popped in during the week Goe an evening meal. Had the curry which was really nice and reasonably priced.

Very few customers for 5.30pm. We shared an ultimate combo platter, which was ok. Followed by beef lasagne, which was also OK. They arrived extremely hot after being in a microwave. The lettuce in the salad had brown edges. When we mentioned this, we were told, would be mentioned to the chef.
