We go into the Hoddesdon Weatherspoons on a weekly basis.for Coffee. When we went in there on Monday a lot of the tables had dirty crockery/empty coffee cups on most tables waiting to be cleared. We chose a table, however we had to move crockery onto another table to be able to use the table! Unfortunately some of the crockery fell onto the floor once it had been moved. A Server came up to the table, threw her hands in the air and said ‘I’ll clear this up shall I’ll, it was quite obvious this sarcastic comment was aimed at all of us, which apart from being very rude was quite uncalled for!! After all had the tables been cleared earlier this may not have happened.

Scrambled eggs were ok but toast was very burnt. The dish should not have been served. Bitter in taste. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Have visited a number of spoons in the past and this rates along with Gatwick as the worst rude staff dirty tables .and service was shocking even though it was quite,plenty of other pubs close so avoid

The diabolical experience started almost immediately and I would have walked out if My partner and I didn't need to get food as we had an hour before a 4hr coach trip. We walked in and approached the bar which had 3 people at it. The bar staff served them and then proceeded to serve people who had come in after us as they happened to be in front of him. When we tried to attract the staffs attention and explain that we were first, we were met with looks of contempt and then apathy. Once the food was ordered it was bought out and was frankly disgusting. It made McDonald's look like a Michelin Restaurant. I ordered a double cheeseburger and chips and my partner a jacket potato. The burger was dry as was the Bun and as for the chips they were cold and rock hard (as if they had been precooked then Microwaved). The jacket potato had a nasty after taste, the salad was wilted and the garlic sauce was split. When I went to leave feedback, I was told it was because they were short staffed in the kitchen.

I really like the rocket pub in Putney on the river . It has great views and a lovely atmosphere. The food is good and the service is excellent . It never disappoints. It’s great for drinks breakfast lunch or dinner and is very reasonably priced too .

Yet another Wetherspoons I've previously visited but not reviewed. A fair sized branch situated on a menazene level within Victoria Station concourse. This branch appears to have been expanded substantially since my last visit. With more seating now available in the pub. Seating also exists on the balcony on both sides of the pub, overlooking the station concourse areas. On this occasion I ordered a Sticky Korean Fried Chicken Bowl, plus a pint of Ramsgate Dark Conspiracy Beer. The chicken bowl is essentially a boneless basket with spicy sauce added. Total cost was £12.11. (The price of this item, in my local branch is £10.02. So this is a reasonable uplift in price for Central London). The prices are the same as the nearby Willow Walk pub, just outside Victoria Station, in which both are slightly more expensive than other central London Wetherspoons branches. Despite this, Wetherspoons still offers good value for money compared to other pubs in the nearby area. Food and drink both arrived in about six minutes after ordering. There were no issues with either fhe food, or pint when it arrived. Worth a visit if you are passing through Victoria Station and require reasonably priced food and drink.

Arrived at 1pm Place was packed out. Lots of tables not cleared Eventually found a table took them ages to clear.Place is very understaffed Food is mediocre I had chicken Tikka and later chips which were burned and dry Toilets not regularly cleaned Has a balcony view of the station concourse.Quite a large pub but not the best I have been to. Took them 45 minutes to bring my food.

Unprofessional! I have visited this restaurant today for breakfast just after work 6:20 am. There were nobody at the bar expect delivery people around. Eventually I was greeted by a male staff member who did not seemed to be too happy to see me. Oh well it ok. I tried to place an order of Eggs Bendict and asked if I could get eggs well done and the answer I got was a full lecture why they can not as its come already made this way. I mean I am not asking much and I am sure there is an option of the way you prefer your breakfast eggs done. Purely rude. I left . Thanks

First time since refurb prices have shot ip cools £6.95 a pint Other spoons £4.25 a pint Very quiet on a Sunday afternoon as well

It's cheap and got a very good range of beers

The food has good flavor and good portions, the prices are quite good considering the high costs of other places

Really nice little space at Victoria train station, grabbed a table and scanned the QR code ordered a pepsi max and a vegan breakfast Only took about 10 minutes got mushrooms, tomato, toast, hash brown, two sausages and beans plus an actual vegan spread which is a first surprisingly. Only complaints the tomato wasn't cooked enough and the toast was a little pale. Other than that everything was hit and very nice. Good size portion and very reasonable and nice to not have to interact with anyone at all apart from to say thank you when my food arrived.

Experience was ruined by a rude member of staff I ordered a katsu curry and extra bhajis (11.20 this comes to) Only to to be told i had ordered the wrong item.

Great atmosphere ok pizzas (not the best though) service was quick we had our food in five minutes.

Got food and drinks, sat outside on the balcony overlooking the trains coming and going and a public piano that multiple people came along and played!

Drinks are good value, considering it's location. Food basic. Expanded bar area, with terrace overlooking platforms. Only downside is the noise from station below - could do with some higher screens, or noise cancelling tech?

Right next to platform 7 upstairs, it is close enough to the trains and just far away from station noise. I always sit outside on the terrace. I was with friends from the States. Service is always quick and attentive. I really enjoyed my fries with bacon and cheese. And Wetherspoons have the best wine prices in London.

There are many seats in the restaurant, and it is very convenient to scan the QR code to order. The food is quite delicious.

Decent prices, super super fast service, atmosphere is amazing on the balcony, especially because of the public piano below! One of the servers was rather rude about an issue with their app that apparently we should of know the work around for...

visited twice for breakfast good deal but quality not stable.

Quite disappointing. They had recommended this restaurant chain to us and the truth is that this one in particular was quite bad. We ordered hamburgers... It's hard for something like that to be wrong... but it was. Normal bread but the meat was not even half the circle of the bread, a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato.... The menu is quite limited... typical fast food... In short... I don't recommend it.

Absolutely disgusted that Wetherspoons in Milton Keynes only accept British IDs They refused an American passport of a 20 year and chucked everyone out eventhough rest had UK driving licences! Surly this is racist? The Brighton Wetherspoons already refused a legal UK ID because they couldn’t be bothered to scan it! I don’t understand.

Arrived at Victoria during a freakishly heavy downpour in June and needed somewhere dry and WARM to sit down out of the wind - Wetherspoons turns out to be that place. Very busy but large so you will find a comfortable table. We ordered using the app, a bit sceptical about how long we might have to wait. Drinks arrived within 10 minutes and the food maybe 5 to 10 minutes after that. I had the veggie sausages with mash which were straightforward and comforting. My partner had steak and kidney pie with chips which was also reportedly fine. The food is kind of just thrown on the plate, but I didn’t need anything fancy - it was tasty and filling. The place was bright and lively and kind of aesthetically cushioney. It is a bit noisy from people chatting and laughing, but that’s not a bad thing. I was really not expecting my day out in London to begin with Wetherspoons, but it was there when we needed it and now I’ve discovered I will certainly go again when I need to take shelter. And maybe even when I need a drink …

Visited Wetherspoin. Visited different locations over 8 times in June 24 delicious meals great value for money plus 1 drink included. Great atmosphere.

Ordered some food for the family after a busy day out. Everything we ordered was perfect and just what we ordered. Customer service was brilliant!

Food is awful! Stopped off for dinner as I thought can’t go wrong with a Wetherspoons… clearly you can! Chips were clearly frozen oven cooked but ate them anyway as hadn’t eaten all day. Then came the burger… looked like it was made by a child and tasted like it too! My friend had the chicken burger which was very clearly not fresh and my beef burger had a strange plastic taste to it! Complained to the manager and requested a refund on just the burgers and that I’m happy to pay for the chips as we have eaten them. He started to say that lots of people try this and he cannot refund the whole meal when we have eaten the chips. I then said what about refunding one of the meals to make the difference which he reluctantly agreed to do. Moral of the story don’t eat here but good for drinks

I go here every 2nd Saturday, the food is brilliant, the staff are great. But yesterday I ordered 2 breakfasts, one for me, one for my friend, it was brought out on one plate. It took me ages to explain what I wanted, eventually we got our food..

Hey Wetherspoons, I do like what you’ve done with the place, fantastic decor, nice views and charging points around the building - it is sublime. Can I just ask one thing, though? I can see the pint I ordered 45 minutes ago sitting on the bar and no one seems to of noticed it just sitting there.. your staff walk past it like a travelling street artist, sure you know they’re there, but you won’t stop and give them deserved attention. I would go and collect it myself, but that would be impolite. The staff seem have a great attention to detail for everything else, though. For example, I’ve just seen a young man asked to take his feet off the seats. The disgruntled boy obliged. My two cents, housekeeping seems to be kept, but the priority is all the wrong way round. Update on the pint (for those interested) It was just taken away, never delivered to me, never poured again.. I guess I’ll just have to be impolite.

Wouldn't use the app here again unless I feel like waiting another 20 minutes for half a pint and having to deal with several stressed staff members to try and chase it down.

As always, the food is top notch. And the bottomless coffee is just lovely.

Since the refurb it’s really disappointing. Very limited menu and even then most things were off. Managed to both overcook a burger and bring it out stone cold at the same time. Used to be a decent stop whilst waiting for a train, don’t think I’d bother now

Between towns and journeys, we had lunch there with a friend. It is accessible, and I have always enjoyed that chain brand and the food.

It's a convenient location, prices comparable to all the other Wetherspoons. The nachos could have used more cheese and more salsa. Because of the little amounts, the nachos we're dry and hard.

Very fast service in the evening but the burger i ordered was not very nice. The patty was slightly burnt and very dry and so were the chips.

I rather enjoyed this place. It's a perfectly decent place to wait for an hour or two, but the thing that stood out was the excellent service that we got from every single staff member that we talked to.

Always stop in for a beer whilst waiting for a train over many years. Beer (real ale) always fine but despite expecting improvement, bar staff always sullen.

Paid for a hot chocolate I got a milk with water. Very expensive for water

Really good service at this Spoons lovelly atmosphere in and around the station. The location is ideal! The drinks are great with wide variety along with the food!

It's a Spoons! Not much else to say really. Staff were typically over-stretched but doing their very best, customers blocking the bar by ordering jugs of cocktails and food, tables full of empty glasses (but as I say, not the fault of the staff who were really hard working), however the toilets were very clean. Didn't have any food so can't comment.

Was told to move by incompetent staff member and manager could not solve the issue with food getting delivered to the wrong table so food was delivered cold. And the indoor temperature was fare to hot and felt like we were sitting in an oven. Over all bad experience would definitely come back for the cheep food but staff need replacement.

Quite a big spoons, in the middle of Victoria - with "Outdoor" inside the station, but outside of the main spoons - seating on both sides. Really good if you want a pint and have 15mins or so for a pint.

My food came out burnt to a crisp. my burger bun came out black and my waiter spill a bit of my drink and did not clean it up. Do Not Come Here

10h50 is not 11h30 indeed, and unfortunately the dude working in the kitchen before 11h30 is only capable of pushing the on/off button on the microwave. So in no way you can order a hamburger before 11h30, and if you settle for a large breakfast, you get a plate with heated up pre-(over)baked eggs, sausages, bacon etc. Seriously, by far this is worst Witherspoon in central London. Go elsewhere I would say

Visited in February 2015. Wetherspoon’s at Victoria Station is quite regular, with a bit of a clinical vibe. It opens early, which is convenient when looking for an early morning drink or snack. I stumbled upon some new beers during my visit.

I have enjoyed multiple meals at weatherspoons but this one was a big disappointment. The food was not worth the money although to be fair it tasted really nice, hence 3 stars not 2. No steak or mixed grill options and no deserts at all. It's gone downhill since my last visit and doubtful I'll return to this one.

Just ate an awful large vegetarian breakfast. The food was not hot , just a bit warm. I swear this was cooked , kept warm and then later served to me. ( OR they cooked it and let it get cold ). And just one mushroom - Wetherspoons you are having a laugh. This is absolute rubbish - you get this so low type of food in a motorway service station . Never coming back here again. The Wetherspoons staff were busy standing around talking to each other. This is the worst Wetherspoons since the one in Holloway Road, and they were closing down and couldn't care less. I will go next time to a good food outlet at Victoria station, like Leon.

One of the best Weatherspoons I've been to. Clean, food arrived quickly and staff well attentive.

Drink chip pints, watch beautiful trains. Just a few things are better than this.

I'm not sure how you manage to make both burnt and floppy uncooked chips but you did it! Overpriced for how awful this food is compared to any other Spoons I have ever visited. The only thing that powered me through this was hunger and even then it was a struggle.

Very appreciated my experience in this Saturday morning in this redesigned Wetherspoons. Great value for money as usual with an extremely efficient kitchen. Excellent staff from manager to waiters/ waitresses (younger and older ones). Especially appreciated the professionalism and service of Ridu 👍😃 I do recommend.

This has to be the most stale burger I have had. The chips were burnt and served cold! Absolutely appalling. The customer service was good tho . Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place zero stars.

If you want to get smashed before a party, this is the perfect place. I had wonderful moments there.

Highly recommend. Good beer, food & attentive service at a very busy lunchtime. We nearly passed due to poor reviews, take no notice. Tables were cleared and wiped down within 5 minutes. Probably the best visit to.a Weatherspoons for us - a family of 6 Congratulations to Ethan & his team 👏👏👍😊

Ah sure tis grand. Its Wetherspoons and we get what we expect and what we pay for..... but those beers.... oh those lovely tap beers!

Nice place, we loved hearing a lady seriously complaining about her 8" pizza all because the mushrooms on it were not uniform and around it, but across the middle of it on our visit.

Great value food, a great location just next to the train platforms at Victoria station. Children are not allowed on the balconies so unfortunately they can't watch the trains (insurance reasons I was told) but a good place to buy good food for a good price. Quite busy when we were there.

my son and I stopped at Victoria to catch a connecting coach.. decided to grab a quick bite and enjoyed our pizzas . staff were friendly and helpful

Went to order all day brunch at 2pm but they didn't have any. Ordered a chicken and bacon salad, enquired if the salad had peppers on it as I'm allergic, the young man behind the bar said he wasn't allowed to advise on allergens, I said I don't want advice just wanted to know if there was peppers on it, he then had to ask a older member of staff (m) who replied it's just salad?? When it was brought to the table, the lettuce was brown around the edges. I took it back to the younger man and said the lettuce was brown, he just repeated what I said to him back to me. I pointed out brown lettuce is not edible and I got a blank stare back, luckily a female member of staff overheard my complaint and said she would change it for me. When the second salad came out it looked fine, until I got to the bottom of it and there was brown edged lettuce. Too late to complain again, I'd eaten most of it. All the time I was eating the older (m) member of staff gave me dirty looks everytime he walked past my table. This is the worst wetherspoons I've ever been to and will not be visiting again. Some members of staff need to brush up on their people skills.

Had a fantastic experience supporting my friend who is autistic and a wheelchair user, the staff, Leanne in particular really provided an outstanding service for us and understood immediately my friends needs and was able to support empathically and professionally - Thank you Leanne you're absolutely amazing!! My friend really enjoyed his meal on the balcony and we were made to feel so comfortable and welcomed. Thank you again :D

Breakfast was delicious 😋 quick service, price was pretty reasonable and out of all the places to grab brekkie at Victoria Station this would be my choice 👍

Het eten was was nog net te eten de kip was veel ste droog de patat was niet eens lekker was dik niet knapperig en en zo slap als ik weet niet wat ik bestelde een kip burger en daarbij stond kip kaas bacon sla en ui wat doen ze er op tomaat ik vroeg niet om een tomaat ze hadden geen Fanta kijk ik bij de recentie had iemand Fanta 1 maand geleden of ze hebben het zeg ghelaad of ze logen tegen ons het is goedkoper omdat je zelf naar de bar moest lopen je bestelling zeggen of via een app dus de enige reden dat het eten aan de goedkope kant is is omdat er geen mensen zijn om je bestelling door te geven en ze krijgen ook geld voor de app op de kip mocht ook wel wat meer smaak.

Overall a decent place for a pint. Went midweek and was quiet and relaxed. Good guest IPA's. Is a nice place to relax before catching a train and has many plug points if a charge of any electronics its needed.

Went here for tea. Ordered on the app, food was less than 10mins and drinks another 12mins. We where brought our food by 2 girls/ women that where laughing to each other and they did not say a word to us. 10 mins later I saw our drinks at the bar and 3 members of staff all walk past them more than twice, until I went to ask if they where for our table and she said i was just about to bring them. She did and and again there was no enjoy your mea,here are your drinks, sorry they where nearly 10 mins after your food. Overall Food portions small/medium Staff incredibly did and lacked any communication skills. Definitely the worse witherspoon I have ever been, would never go again.
