Excellent service,food,and value for money. We stayed in Teignmouth for 4 days and ate here for 3 mornings. The place is lovely, staff very polite and helpful. Food was very good

We are regulars here and have never had cause for complaint before. Went for breakfast today and when it arrived we had 2 slices of bread each rather than toast. Asked kitchen staff if their toaster was not working and got a blank look with no actual response. Bar staff said in passing "it's not been working for a week." Spoke to shift manager who said "We should have signs up, I don't know where they've gone. Sorry." Toast is part of my fry up and takes its place under my eggs and my baked beans. Bread is no good unless I'm making a sandwich!! It's like replacing cooked sausages with raw ones because your cooker isn't working. Not good enough.

Have been using Weatherspoons for years mainly in London and Surrey. But this Weatherspoons was not one we would return to. Firstly the prices here are far greater than Twickenham or Surbiton or Guildford! Nothing on the menu offering good value for money. The tables uncleard, floor with food on it under tables and long wait at the bar. What has happened to the Weatherspoons brand in Devon.

Never had problems here before but my daughter in law ordered a glass of wine on the app the waitress brought it to the table and handed to her she then went to the bar and ordered another but was refused ok she had no id but it was the same waitress that did table service that handed her the glass, ask to speak to management and basically got told tuff shithis is a big no no wont be going back .. show oh and your waitress broke the law by not asking for id at table so will be contacting trading standards

Love this spoons. But steak was overcooked was tough. ..previously was lovely but as everyone says its what you pay for....its not bad but not good either...anyway had a good nite chilling

We Always visit here when visiting Teignmouth, the best Wetherspoons in my wife and I opinion, friendly staff quick on serving customers, food we always find enjoyable, breakfasts, lunch and main meals! I am wheelchair bound and I find using the disabled toilet quite easy with my wife assisting me, yes I agree it can be quite smelly, but that’s with most disabled toilets in Wetherspoons, abled working people as we have seen do use this toilet when they are able to use the stairs, however, that’s with all Wetherspoons! a lady who works there I think her name is Jane who sees to the coffee machines is a very good worker she’s always cleaning and filling the tea, sugars etc regular. We go in this Wetherspoons everyday when we are on holiday in Teignmouth and love the place! Prices are excellent! Look forward to going back again next year!

Lovely breakfast as always it was perfect couldn’t complain at all. and so cheap can’t beat it also the staff were amazing

Food arrived cold and served on cold plate informed staff, food was reheated came back some inedible so discarded, again on a cold plate. Management made aware an apology received no offer of refund.

A quite pleasant place, staff are friendly and helpful. A good range of drinks are available as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Free refills with them as well. I had an excellent Cappuccino, then a refill all for £1.45, can't beat it. The food is good as well.

Went in for dinner after work. There was an older bald gentleman behind the bar, didn’t catch his name but he was clearly new but was super friendly, very good at his job and is clearly going to be a great new asset to the team!

When ordering we asked for ice cream for the children and was told that they only had chocolate fudge cake or apple crumble (only two desserts available) Fudge cake is £2 more than ice cream. Ordered a curry with an extra naan bread. Friends ordered 2 curry deals, the till system automatically over charged. Once we had established that the price was wrong we were told if we paid by card we had to pay the till amount and then it will be queried at head office later. So we are still over paying!!!!! If we pay in cash we can have the correct change…….. When the first curry and chocolate cake arrived we were surprised to see it served with ice cream, as we were told there wasn’t any, so we paid for a dessert we didn’t really want. The curry had no mango chutney and no extra naan. We requested these from the waiter………. (Still waiting, never arrived). Our friends curry didn’t arrive, when we eventually queried it they found the meals sitting on the side…… cold. So to review……. Staff were not aware what was and wasn’t available. The automatic till system over charged, and the food was either incomplete or cold.

Worst meal I've had in a restaurant. Steak was pure charcoal, gammon was black on one side rest of the meat was overcooked and inedible. Also took 45 minutes to arrive. Safe to say I will not be eating there again

The buffalo wings which used to be really good are now rubbish. 4 out of the 10 had no meat on them and were literally just bone, obviously using cheaper wings and will not be ordering again. Wish I had took pictures

I'm a disabled person, I use a chair and often have to wait for so long to be served as they often ignore me as I'm not leaning over the bar to be served! They refuse to help carry my drinks to the table. Disabled toilet used by drunks and there's always the mess and stench of drunkards pee. To top that off, you have a great struggle to get the attention of the staff in order to obtain the key to the disabled toilet , my radar key wouldn't work (then people catch the door before it closes so they can use to toilet as they're too lazy to use their working legs to walk upstairs! It's a highly distressing place to visit if you're disabled, and as yet I've not been in a Wetherspoons that's actually disabled friendly, so sad. It's a mega noisy place too! Please train your staff to aid us less able bodied people and help reduce the abuse of 'our' facilities...

Shambolic 50 minute wait for food. 30 minute wait for drinks ordered via the app. Yes it’s Saturday, yes it’s busy but roster more staff. When attempting to put our point across manageress couldn’t care. The staff don’t care about service levels and the price of drinks will keep dragging people in but it really is pay for what you get.

Lukewarm Breakfast. Manager is a killjoy & likes to call the police. Two male staff were unprofessional.

Visited on the evening of 24th September 7pm, for big family celebration for my daughter's graduation. Was very busy and staff looked overwhelmed. Lots of dirty tables.we ordered drinks via app and waited and waited. Finally I approached a chap clearing tables and was literally working his socks off and explained our wait. He couldn't have been More helpful and accommodating dropped what he was doing and sorted everything out even though it was a extremely challenging situation for him. We were all so impressed by his work ethic and professionalism and saved our special evening. If he's not a supervisor or team leader witherspoon are missing a trick with this guy. Pretty sure his name was Michael if not for his hard work would scrape a 2 star.
